Power by netviewer certification, versioning problem

Hi,
My aim is to get "power by netviewer certification". I have created a .ear file and am deploying it using SDM. Deployment is successful. But the version number what I see is undefined, it say Local Version undefined and Repository version undefined. I have SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 with SP 9. And the certification criteria says that version number should start with 60.1 at least for SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0. Another question I would like to ask is, since I have SP9 installed, is version number should start with 60.1 or something different?

As far as I know, tagged text isn't going to create a layout. But if you create and thread the frames first, make sure to have the styles named correctly before bringing in the tagged text, it all should just work.
Oh. The </a> in your text ought to be removed. It will throw up an error that is non-fatal. But I would think the html attribute should be removed.
I would get the sample document that works and try again. Else I can zip up the sample I just created and upload it.

A solution for Secure Static Versioning problem in 1.5.0_10

I have JRE 1.3.1_09 and 1.5.0_10 on my computer and I think I have solved static versioning problem.
My test computer:
- Windows XP sp2
- Internet Explorer 7 (on another computer also IE 6)
- Firefox 2.0.0.1
- JRE 1.3.1_09
- JRE 1.5.0_10
I. Solution for Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7
1. Edit registry and add:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Deployment\Policy
DWORD: EnableSecureStaticVersioning = 0 (Hex)
2. Restart browser if started.
3. Start web page with java applet.
II. Solution for Firefox 2.0.0.1:
1. Install 1.3 JRE in the same parent directory as 1.5 JRE.
Because default default installation path for 1.5 JRE is C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_10 you need to modify
1.3 installation path from default C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1_09 to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.3.1_09
After installation check out that "bin" directory is in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.3.1_09\bin
2. Install 1.5 JRE in default installation directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_10.
After installation check out that "bin" directory is in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.3.1_09\bin
3. Restart browser if started.
4. Start web page with java applet.
Note: HTML page must use <object> tabs for Internet Explorer or <embed> tabs for any other browser (e.g. Firefox). You need to specify correct classid in object and/or embed tag.

Version problem in DMS

When i create a document with bapi_document_create2 it is creating the document with what i have given the inputs

but version problem is there . Ex: if i give version as 03 but is creating the docuemnt with version from 01 . next if i give 10 as a version it is creating the document with version 02...like that..
Please advice me .. i want to create the document with the version what iam giving.

Labview version problem?

I have made a subVI that controls the rpm % of a wind tunnel vane. This consists in adquiring 2 values of data within 30 seconds and compare both to see the uniformity of the flux. I use a Labview 2011 version. The problem occurs when i use this subvi in a 2012 version. The 30 seconds turn to 1 minute... I want to ask if its possible for this to be a version problem.

I'm concerned that you are reading a file and then reading it again 3 seconds later. This tells me you are looking for when the other process stops writing data. File IO is a terrible way to share data. Use a Notifier or Queue instead. Much more efficient.

OCCI version problem

I am having a version problem with 9i.
How can i compile OCCI with 9i database installetion?
Which library would i need?
my server is a SOL-Sparc-64 machine
and oracle database server is installed there versiion oracle 9i 32bit.

I am trying to compile my C++ code (using OCCI) on Sun Solaris 5.9 (SPARC64PLUS) environment.
We have compiled and tested it on RHEL 5 Linux.
The Oracle (10g R3) database is on RHEL 5 server while OCCI/C++ application would be running on Sun Solaris 5.9 server.
Since we have no Oracle installation on the Sun Solaris 5.9 server, there are no OCCI related libraries on this server and hence we are not able to compile our C++ code on Sun Solaris 5.9
Can someone help me on how/where to download OCCI libraries (compile time as well as run time) for Solaris 5.9 ? I could find only Windows and RHEL versions of OCCI libraries on the Oracle website.
Also, how stable is OCCI on Solaris 5.9 ?

Service pack versioning problem

Can anyone help me solve service pack versioning problem please. This
problem may solve some of my other problems.
I am trying to check if my service pack has been installed properly or not.
I issue following command from command prompt:
C:\>java weblogic.Admin t3://localhost:7001 VERSION
I get the following error: "Failed to connect to t3://localhost:7001 due to:
[java.net.ConnectException: No server found at T3://localhost:7001]"
At this time, I have weblogic 5.1 installed with service pack 2 installed.
If I run server seems to be running, and connecting to my
database.Eventually I am planning to upgrade to SP6 and run with jdk1.3.
2nd problem: When I make JAVA_HOME= JDK1.3, wls does not run.

Installing an iOS update does not add a physical button.
As for the "No SIM" message, try removing and reinserting the SIM or replacing the SIM.

Toshiba Power saver may be the problem

My Satellite A665-S6050 has had all of the symptoms you read about in these forums;
crash, freeze, hung, locked, BSOD, Windows crash errors, etc.
I bought the laptop new a couple years ago and both love it and hate it when it exhibits
its freezing behavior. This is the intel I-3, 4 GB ram, Windows 7(64 bit) version. Really nice
when it's running normally.
I have watched and read through hundreds of posts throughout these forums since my purchase.
I have never sent the laptop back to Toshiba. Primarily because I've been able to force power off
then on, go to safe mode, schedule a disk scan on the next power up, reboots normally and I'm good
for who knows how long.
Following suggestions you can read in these forums, I have upgraded the Intel HD graphics display driver.
I install Windows updates every time they come available(auto update is enabled). I've updated the
Toshiba bios. I've updated Firefox every time it is available(my favorite browser). Updated java and
flash(again automatic updates). Some user settings that I've changed; I've disabled sleep mode(set it
to 'never' under 'advanced power settings) in every power scheme I have. I only use 'High Performance'
power scheme(plan). I have the setting for turning off the hard drive set to 'never'. My rational for doing
this is there is just too much going on under Windows 7, all the time. You never know what's running in the
background. Many times as the laptop freezes and or Windows tries it's best to recover, I get a strong feeling
that the hard drive has shut off! Especially, when Windows is trying to save a dump but can't because it can't
access hd0(hard drive)(I have to force power cycle off/on to recover).
This brings me to my current state of this troubleshooting saga. The last time the laptop froze, I was watching
streaming video in one Firefox window and had a slide show playing in another Firefox window(2 windows, not
2 tabs). Then in the lower right corner I get the Toshiba power saver notification that it is shutting down the
optical drive. It goes away on it's own in about 10 seconds. But immediately everything gets real slow until every
freezes. Windows tries to save a dump but can't. Windows tries to reboot itself but can't. Shows me a screen to
modify the boot list because the hd0 is not available. So, as so many times before I have to hold the power
button down for force power off. Wait a few, then power on, do my thing with safe mode, check disk, etc.
Power up and boots normally. Runs great for who knows how long. Right now as I type this, I have a audio CD
in my optical drive with Windows Media player set to 'replay' continuously. This I hope will prevent the 'Toshiba
power saver' from getting triggered because the optical drive is not idle and therefore won't shut off the hard
drive too! I have no idea how I can prove that 'Toshiba Power saver' is causing these freezes, crashes, lock ups,
etc. But at least if I can keep the optical drive in use and therefore prevent the 'power saver' from kicking in
maybe I can eliminate that as a possible cause of the freezes.
I am really disappointed to read so many Toshiba owners sending their computers to Toshiba service
hoping and praying for resolution but getting no satisfaction in the end. I love my Toshiba and I'll keep it.
I am a recreational user. Don't need to save power. When I use my computer, I want it to function as
powerful as possible until I intentionally perform a normal Windows shutdown.
My employer supplies me with a laptop (different brand). It has Intel I-5 chip, 3 GB ram Win XP Pro..
I run that computer full speed 9 -10 hours a day and I may have to reboot maybe once every other week.
Not bad considering the abuse I put it through. I would hate to have to rely on this Toshiba for work. I
don't think it could stay fully operational for that period of time.
Please Toshiba, tell me how I can help with the troubleshooting of this seriously pervasive problem on
so many of your computers. Is there an event log I can provide? Windows dump files(when they do get
saved)? Help me help you resolve this problem and satisfy hundreds of your customers.

It happened again this afternoon. This is the first time my system froze since the last time
I reported here in the forum. And just like I reported earlier, Toshiba Power Saver turned off
the optical drive power, I saw the pop-up in the lower right corner to notify me of the event.
I had Toshiba 'PC Health Monitor' running and minimized. I clicked on the icon to restore it
to the desktop. It displayed as expected. The hard drive graphic looked normal and spinning
as usual. I clicked on the graphic of the spinning hard drive and expected 'Power Options' to
display. Instead my desktop went away(all icons, system tray, system notification area, launch
pad, etc), everything gone. The graphic of the spinning hard drive stopped spinning. I tried a
CTL+ALT+DEL and got a new pop-up from Windows that it couldn't respond and I had 2 options;
press ESC or hold the power button down to force power and a shutdown. Which is what I eventually
did.
Powered up, went to safe mode, scheduled disk check on the next restart. Disk check runs and
finds no problem. System runs normally again.
As far as finding these events in the Windows logs using 'Event viewer', is not going to help.
I know exactly what time this all took place. I just can't find any event log showing that it took
place. There's a small gap in the time stamps just before the event until a few minutes after the
event. Then I see a mixture of 'errors' and 'information' events after the power on and restart
but nothing specifically addressing the hard drive before the restart.
I see an event log; "Previous shutdown was not expected". I'm sure that's not what your asking
to see. I don't know if it would be possible to trace the 'Toshiba Power Saver' but that may be
the only way I could prove my point that it is shutting off power to both the optical drive and
the hard drive at the same time.
Is there a way to disable or remove Toshiba Power Saver without causing a more serious problem?

Battery, Power, Deep Sleep and Spotlight problems after 10.9.4 update

Hi, I have a Macbook Pro 8,1 13in (Late 2011). I updated to the latest version of Mavericks (10.9.4) and iTunes on Sunday, right after that my macbook started to goes into Deep Sleep after closing the lid, even when the battery was 80% of charge. My battery normally lasts for almost 5 hours. After it went to deep sleep, the power bottom does not respond. Also, I have noticed that spotlight process in Monitor was consuming so huge amount of resources. This problem persists in Boot Camp. There is no way to turn the machine up without plugging it to the power cord. Sometimes it charges the battery as usual, sometimes it does not recognize the battery. Suddenly, the mac goes into sleep mode while I'm using it.
I have researching and troubleshooting in order to fix this but no solution. I have reset the PRAM and SMC. I made a backup of my files and installed Mavericks from the ground with external storage in order to erase the entire disk, no solution. I made an Internet Recovery and downgraded it to Lion, it worked for 2 hours and then I upgraded again to Mavericks (10.9.0) and the same problem came again, the upgraded to 10.9.4 and no solution at all.
I have searched on internet and there are other people experiencing this problem but nobody is able to bring a valid solution.

Power Mac G4 & OS 9 Problem...can use some help!

I have a Power Mac G4 with an OS 9 operating system that is around ten years old. It has been reliable over the years until now. This morning, I started my G4 and everything was like any other day. The OS 9 window appeared and after the extensions folder icons finished loading on the bottom on the screen, a new window came up afterward, telling me that the 'Time Sychronizer' error #41 existed and to restart. I rebooted and again the same thing happened. I tried one more time and the same thing happened.
Next, I figured I would by-pass the extensions folder, and I restarted with the shift key down. The OS 9 window did display itself along with it telling me that the extensions folder was 'off.' To my surprise, the error window came up again, telling me that there was an error #41 and to restart. I have been in this loop all morning and I can't get out. Even if I had to reinstall the a new operating system...how do I by-pass the the aforementioned loop within my computer to get to the installation information, etc.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? What can I do? Can it be fixed? Is it a major problem or, a simple one the can be resolved? Any answers out there? Help!!!!!

Error #41 is a somewhat generic one, usually indicating that the OS itself is damaged. This Apple KBase article addresses that -

The solution given is to re-install just the Core OS files. In order to do that iou will need to use an OS 9 Install CD valid for that machine, and of a version equal to the installed OS 9 version.
Boot to the CD, run the installer - when you select your hard drive and click okay, you'll be asked what you want to do - click Reinstall. On the last page of the installer, the page with the Start button, click the Customize button.
On the new page, uncheck everything (make sure they have neither checks nor dashes) except Mac OS 9.x; to the right of it is a pulldown menu, preset at Recommended Installation - select Customized Installation from that.
In the new window, uncheck everything except the first item, Core System Software - again, make sure none of the other boxes have checks or dashes. Click Okay, click Start. That will re-install the System, Finder, other basic OS files, and nothing else.

In order to do a re-install (Core System or complete) you will need to boot the machine to an appropriate CD.
When you boot the machine to a CD, the OS on the CD is running the machine. This means that nothing on the hard drive is in use, including any damaged files. This is one of the primary virtues of retaining install disks - they allow the machine to be booted, and usually repaired, regardless of the state of health of the OS on the hard drive.

If you do not have an OS 9 Install CD of a version equal to that of the installed OS 9, you will need to re-install the complete OS. The easiest way to do that is to use the Software Install CD that came with the machine, or a later version retail OS 9 Install CD. Boot to that CD, and on the page where you select the destination drive click the Options button. On the new page checkmark the Clean Installation option, okay the page, continue the installation.
Note that with OS 9 a Clean Install will not remove anything - it will install a brand new System Folder and do little else.

A Software Restore CD can not be used to do a Clean Install, and, if appropriate care is not taken, can result in the loss of data on the hard drive.
