Hey Ayaz,
I do had the same error message when I click on "PowerPivot Management Dashboard". After few research I resolved this issue.
You need to provide the dbReader and dbWriter permission to powerpivot app pool account at "SharePoint_AdminContent_ca021d58-ef1f-4f30-9aeb-6f24db24862b"
Have a great day :-)

    We use ftp to transfer the log files from the another country to here, I confirmed the file's MD5(checksum) is same as the copy in client's environment, we have tried to upload the file a couple of times, same outcome.
    The full backup is fine, I have successfully restored a series log backups prior to this file.
    Has anyone seen this issue before? It is strange, all information indicates the file is good,but somehow it goes wrong.

    Hi Albert,
    The above error message usually indicates that there is a problem with underlying storage system or the hardware or a driver that is in the path of the I/O request. You can encounter this error when there are inconsistencies in the file system or if the database
    file is damaged.
    Besides other suggestions, consider to use the
    SQLIOSim utility to find out if these errors can be reproduced outside of regular SQL Server I/O requests and change
    your databases to use the PAGE_VERIFY CHECKSUM option.

    Hi,
    I would like to suggest you reset the SDK account password (in this case, it seems like that the account is 'scomsdk'). And change the password for the account in service configuration.
    Please go through the below article for details:
    How to change the credentials for the SDK Service and for the Config Service in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager

  • RH7 Error: Failed to read from log... Failed to generate WebHelp Pro

    Installed RH9 trial on Windows XP PC. Then, generated an existing project using RH7 to a new C: drive directory location on the PC using the same name. Renamed the project files in that C:drive directory to a test name and opened the project's .xpj file in RH9.  It converted cleanly.
    Now, when I go to generate the RH7 original project from the original server directory, I receive:
    Error: Failed to read from log (file name) .log.... Internal error encountered,  Failed to generate WebHelp Pro.
    Does the log file keep track of the previous generation (time stamp,etc), since this RH7 generation has a skip in it for the one generated to the C:drive?  I've compared the log files from each run (.txt files) and don't see a difference. I even copied the log file from the C:drive run to the Server directory. No luck.  Any ideas?

    Hi John,
    Thanks for the prompt response.  I am trying to evaluate RH9 / RH Server 9.
    When I generate RH7 projects, I’ve always put the server (RH7 Server) directory reference in the ‘Output Folder and Start Page’ field.  This directory reference is where the compiled output ends up right? In my case, it’s in that field as:
    PBSrobohelp\D$\RoboHelp <file:///
    PBSrobohelp\D$\RoboHelp>  Web Files\PBS Unit Processes Manual.  I’m not aware of a C:Drive local copy of the files. Doesn’t it go out to the server output for the .log file in question?
    For the test, I took an existing project in RH7 and replaced this server reference with a C:Drive local hard drive directory reference and ran the output to it.  Then I went to the C:Drive directory and changed the project name, because there doesn’t appear to be a way to do a ‘save as’ on a project – RH7 wants to keep that name badly.  I then, shutdown RH7 and started RH9.  I opened the .xpj file from the new test project copy. It recognized that it was from an older release and it converted the test copy to RH9.  It converted cleanly with about 2 inconsequential document warnings but did not create a TOC.  I looked it over and saved it in RH9 – it was already my test name.
    The original RH7 project opens fine in RH7 and the Test RH9 project opens fine in RH9. So I think I have a good test copy.  It’s just that when I point the RH7 original to the Server Output folder (which has its files) it gets the error on generation.
    We are evaluating RH Server 9 but I haven’t attempted to publish anything to it yet. I’ve stayed  purely on my desktop.
    Hope this clears it up.

  • Error:   [Error ORABPEL-10903]: failed to read wsdl

    Can any one please explain this error, When ever I used to change the XSD file of the process I am getting this error. Dont know why?? Please suggest me
    Error:

    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    Rajesh,
    Let's take an example. There are 2 BPEL process's, BPEL1 and BPEL2 in which bpel1 invokes the bpel2. Whenever a schema (ex: test.xsd) used in bpel1 is referred in bpel2, if you are making any change in the schema in bpel1 and try to deploy it, it gives the Error ORABPEL-10903....
    Solution is
    1. you need to copy the changed test.xsd in bpel1 to bpel2.
    2. Deploy the bpel2
    3. deploy bpel1
    Hope this would help.
    Thanks,
    Sen.

  • Error Orabpel 10903 failed to read wsdl - please help me

    Dear Experts,
    I am struggling hard with these errors. Actually I am having 7 bpel process, one among that 7 integrates all the process. I have deployed and tested in my machine it is working perfectly fine. I just copy the entire set up to another machine with same server version as SOA 10.1.3.1 and JDeveloper 10.1.3.1. But I am receiving error. Also I have made all the required changes respective to new server. In the sense have change wsdl location respective to new server. But I am able to compile/deploy all the process except the integrated process. Even I am not able to compile the integrated process. Please suggest me. what else i have to change..?

    Thanks,
    Rajesh A

    Hai Rajesh its not a bug. If you see the wsdl file used in your partner link. you can see this
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <import namespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/addressing" schemaLocation="http://localhost.com:8888/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd"/>
    </schema>
    so while you try to deploy in your system schema location will schemaLocation="http://localhost.com:8888/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd" will be available bu if you try to deploy in other system you cant deploy because it wont be available.
    Fix
    copy the file int your project and change the wsdl to
    <schema xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <import namespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2003/03/addressing" schemaLocation="ws-addressing.xsd"/>
    </schema>

  • [Error ORABPEL-10903]: failed to read wsdl

    Hi,
    I am trying to deploy the Order booking application in Oracle SOA suite (10.1.3.2.0), and while deploying the SOAOrderBooking BPEL application to the application server, i get this error. I am following the SOA demo guide to deploy this sample application step-by-step.
    I can access the 2 URLS -
    a) http://localhost:8888/orabpel/default/SelectManufacturer/1.0/SelectManufacturer?wsdl
    b) http://KOLDXP-SHASEN:8888/orabpel/xmllib/ws-addressing.xsd
    in the browser.
    Can anyone suggest me the solution to this ?? What am I missing? The ports are all default ones and I did a basic installation.
    Thanks,
    Shantonav

    Any idea why I am getting error with code 1?
    Edited by: Anupam_Halder on Oct 4, 2012 2:13 PM

    You need to look for an Oracle specific error code and message. The error text you have posted does not seem to be an Oracle error.
    The error however could result from an ORA-3113 end-of-file on communication channel.
    This Oracle error means that the Oracle server process servicing your request (executing SQL or PL/SQL code) ran into a fatal error (potentially an Oracle bug). The server process then proceeds with a "crash dump" - writes an error to the database instance's alert log, writes a trace file and then terminiates abnormally.
    It terminates without telling the client and without tearing down the tcp client-server connection. When the client then attempts to use this connection, the socket read fails. No data to read as the socket connection no longer exists.
    But this is speculation - we need to see the actual Oracle error (from the server or from the client driver). And you seem to be using an Oracle client that suppresses Oracle error codes and text. Which places a serious question mark over the actual usability of such client s/w for Oracle client-server.

  • IPod Error - Disk could not be read from/to

    I just got an iPod 20G, but when I try to update it with iTunes, I get an error message "Attempting to copy to the disk "(name)" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to". Some songs, however, do get copied before I get the error. I am using Windows XP, iTunes 5, and iPod 20G color display. I have updated the software on both the iPod and iTunes. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

    Sounds like an iTunes issue.
    Uninstall iTunes.
    Reboot the computer.
    Just to be safe, run the newest "Updater" (download if you have to), wait for it to say to connect your iPod, connect your iPod, then select "Restore" (WARNING: this will erase the contents of your IPOD). But since you haven't been able to use iTunes, there shouldn't be anything on it. Follow the instructions (it might say to plug it into the wall charger when it's done restoring).
    NOW reinstall iTunes (again download the newest one)
    Reboot your computer, again.
    Start iTunes
    Connect your iPod
    Follow the screen messages (you should register, just incase you have warrenty issues).
    Hopefully it will work. If not, come back and give an update.
