    Hello Gurus,
    ive got a Big issue, concerning SAP HR module.
    When we start the TC: PPOME we select org.unit from the structure.
    It is beeing showed normaly, but only when we select Acount assignment it goes straight into DUMP,
    saying:
    Runtime Errors         STORAGE_PARAMETERS_WRONG_SET
    What can you do?                                                                 
        Note which actions and input led to the error.   
        For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator     
        You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage       
        termination messages, in particular for long term reference.                 
        In the system profile, set the parameters                                    
        -abap/heap_area_dia and                                                      
        -abap/heap_area_nondia                                                       
        to a maximum of 189714480. To be on the safe side, reduce the value by 10,000,
        000.                                                                         
        Then restart the SAP system.       
    These corrections are not needed since the system for every other purpose (SD, MM, FI) is working, only for HR module during acount assignment is going into DUMP.
    Any advice why this happens to some of the Org.Units?

  • PPOME - org. unit - how to display a custom field in Basic Tab

    Hi gurus,
    I would like to show in detail box - basic info tab, a field added to IT P1000, to gather additional info's about the selected organizational unit.
    Can anybody tell me where to start? I goggled a lot but I didn't find any useful information.

  • How to transfer the employees from one org unit to another org unit in OM.

    Hi Experts,
    I have a task of changing the employees, Positions & Jobs, from one Organization Unit to another Org unit, in the OM. I have around 50 position & Jobs and employees to be moved. Please suggest me how do I go about.
    I tried doing through PPOME (Org. and Staffing) but it is a lengthy procedure please suggest if there is an alternate option to do so in OM.

    Dear Sharad,
    First of all I recommend to open a new discussion and not to post in a old-date one.
    Anyway, You can do it either PA40 or OOPME.
    In PA40 you should select an appropriate action like :Org. Change", "Promotion" and so on. In fact it depends what do you have in you action list.
    In PPOME you can do it by drag and drop also. Just take care about effective date. First you should select the right date in top of the screen.

  • Workflow title is showing the task name

    Dear all,
    I am new to workflow and would like to ask your help about this issue I am experiencing.
    My workflow is a copy of MMIV_Appr. One of the tasks is TS99900067. The title is defined as "Invoice Release & &" where the first ampersand represents the document number and the second is the fiscal year. However, when the workflow approver receives the email in his SAP inbox, the title becomes "Invoice Parking: Approve Release", which is the name of the task. How can I make it display as the correct title "Invoice Release & &"?
    This issue is happening after we introduced some changes in the PPOME org structure.  I have refreshed the workflow buffers via SWU_OBUF and PPWFBUF.  I will to have the user refresh the org structure from the SAP inbox.  SBWP ->  Settings -> Workflow Settings -> Refresh Organizational Structure.  I am not sure yet if the steps would help resolve the error.
    If you have some inputs, I would greatly appreciate them.  Thank you for your help.

    Thanks to everyone who responded to my query.  I awarded you with points for helping me.
    It seems the workflow item text encountered a few hiccups after the PPOME org structure was changed.  After refreshing the workflow buffers and the org structure from the SBWP inbox of the user herself, the workflow item text went back to normal.  The effect is not retroactive, though.  So, for items impacted by the PPOME change, they remain as-is but for subsequent items after the refresh, they now reflect the correct text "Invoice Release (document number) (fiscal year)".
    Steps done:
    1. Refresh workflow buffers via SWU_OBUF and PPWFBUF.
    2. Refresh the org structure from the SAP inbox.  SBWP -> Settings -> Workflow Settings -> Refresh Organizational Structure.

  • Duplicate period appearing in German when creating new Org Unit in PPOME

    Hi Guys,
    My users are encountering a problem when they create an Org. Unit/Position in PPOME.
    Whenever a new Org. Unit is being created (lets assume with the validity date of 01.11.2006), an earlier period would automatically be created, thus making the object having 2 periods.
    Upon clicking on the "Select Period" icon for the object in the Detail area of the screen, 2 lines of periods are being displayed.
    When i view the second period, i would see the correct details of the Org. Unit that was keyed in by the user.
    However, when i view the first period, the details are all on German language (this record was not created by the user at all).
    Therefore, i checked the tables T528B and T528T, i found duplicate records for certain Object IDs. It seems the Org Unit that was created by the user is being appended after the Org Unit that is in German.
    Any ideas on how to clean up those lines of data that is appearing in German and prevent such an occurance from happening in future?

    I followed your instructions but i am unable to detect anything out of the ordinary.
    I'm compared the configuration in Development again Production and they are the same.
    However, the problem i described in this thread is not appearing in Development. It is just happening in Production.
    Any other ideas?
    It's not really affecting my client's business process but i would like to know what is causing it out of curiousity

  • No assignment to org model in PPOME possible

    When I try to assign in the org model/PPOME (ECC6.0) a person to a position, the system allows that for some persons u2013 for some not. If not, the message u201CNo entry found, 5W800u201C is issued. If I would try to create the relationship A/008 via PP02, the system issues u201CValidity period of record not within validity period of P 0000XXXX, Message no. 5A039u201D.
    Can anybody please explain me whatu2019s going on?
    T770S0 is maintained in the following way:
    PLOGI ORGA X    Integration Switch: Organizational Assignment
    PLOGI PLOGI 01  Integration Plan Version / Active Plan Version
    RHINTECHECK for personell no. 0000XXXX: all 12 (time-related) records of IT0001 are wrong (error) and the report suggests:
    a. Check whether the person is marked in open processes
    --> This seems not to be the case
    b. Check your organizational assignment, either in infotype 1 or in the organizational structure in the above mentioned period.
    --> I think this is also not the problem as org unit and position (PLANS, STELL) are both empty in PA0001.
    I am new to HR-module, please explain what is missing, Thanks,

    The employee records were transferred from another system into my system via ALE. In the source system the records were created via an interface (I assume). In the source system OM is not used.

    No, they donu2019t. All records havenu2019t a position assigned in PA0001.
    > Can you find other differences between the employees that work and the ones that don't?
    There is only one difference for the employees who donu2019t work: In PA30 on IT "org. assignment" is field personnel area two times displayed with two different values, even that it is the same field:
    On the top of the screen:             P0001-WERKS, screen number 0100.
    Section enterprise structure:     P0001-WERKS, screen number 2000.
    From PA0001-table I can see that these employees have changed their personell area in the past (in the source system). Those records were transfered into my system via ALE, too.
    > Check dates to make sure that your employee is active within the dates you try to assign him.
    The employees are active in the related period.

  • Objects not displayed in Org Structure (PPOME)

    We made big changes in the existing organizational structure (new objects) with start date 01.01.2012.
    Old objects were terminated by 31. Dec 2011.
    In PPOME with entry date = 01. December 2011 I can only see the new objects but not the old and still valid ones.
    In table HRP 1000 and HRP 1001 all relationships are correctly maintained - but I don't see any of the objects in PPOME.
    Big problem, as workflows don't  work any longer.

    I have the same problem, I have updated relations of some positions. HRP1001 looks correct, with limitations on correct dates.
    But on PPOME I can see the same position under two organizations, both with end date 31.12.9999.
    This is an impossible case, when standart PPOME controls are concerned, but something happened, and I could not find how to correct it.
    If you have any suggestions, please share.

  • Can tcode PPOMA be Used for ECC security?

    Hi,
    We know that PPOMA or PPOMA_BBP can be used to restrict users by their org level or tasks in SAP SRM,Can the same principle be used to restrict users in ECC system through their Org values.
    For example.Can a user be restricted to perform his actions only for Plant 1000 or 2000?
    I know we can restrict the activities through roles,but is this approach of using PPOMA possible in ECC?
    Any comments/opinions on this matter is appreciated?

    Hi,
    PPOMA in SRM is used to provide default values to users in procurement transactions. The PPOMA assignment does not restrict the users from performing tasks. For authorizations the program still checks for the org values asssigned to the users roles.
    But, Yes the users would not be able to perform the procurement related transactions if they are not assigned to any organizstion node.

    When I am trying to assign the common cost center to an Organizational unit under transaction PPOME I am unable to do that as there are employees that belong to different company code.
    Can you please help to assign the common (single) cost center to Org unit?

    Hi,
    As per standard, you cannot assign cost center belonging to one company code to a org unit which belongs to another company code.
    If you want to to this, you can do either using IT1018(this is at org unit or position level) in PP01 or IT0027 (this is at employee level). But this will be cost distribution.

  • Extending the End Date of Relationship Org. Unit and Position

    Hi All,
    Please help me below.
    Problem: The end date for the relationship between org. unit and position should be set back to 31.12.9999. It was accidentally been set to 31.03.9999 and results to two records in infotype 0001, which the wrong record should be deleted.
    This can only be deleted by changing the relationship end date in PO13 but unfortunately, the user doesn't have any access to this transaction.
    Request: Can you explain to me on how the end date can be change in transaction PPOME or PPOM_OLD as these are the only transactions the user has an access. I'd already explored these transactions but I can't find on how it should be deleted here.

    Thanks for this information. This was a very helpful answer. But I only need to extend the end date of a particular infotype 0001 record of a particular employee. I think the report will extend all of the records of all the employees in the system. I can't find any parameter in the report wherein I can set the employee number I wish to extend the end date.

  • Org. Unit & Job Code not diplayed in IT0001

    Dear Consultants
    I have a problem which is the Org. unit and job codes are not displayed in IT0001 although I did the following:
    -     Integration between PA and OM in T. Code OOPS was set in PLOGI ORGA first.
    -     Structure was created using PPOCE and PPOME then we hire employees through PA40 through LSMW.
    -     The employee hire date and the date of creating O,S, and C is the same.
    -     The data of Company code Personnel area and sub area was recorded in account assignment tab in Organization and Staffing when creating the structure and positions.
    -      After loading the Employee data I run the report RHINTE00 and the employees displayed in PPOME.
    -     Then I run report  RHINTECHECK  and there are no issues.
    -     Then when I see that Org. Unite code and Job Code are not displayed in IT0001 I report RHINTE30 but he said (Personnel numbers for which an update is not necessary) and still Org. unit and job code is not there in IT0001.
    Is there anything else I can do to solve that problem?

  • Missing position and Org Unit relationship in PO13

    Hello SAP Pundits,
    I created a Position 1234 with transaction PPOM with Org Unit A and Job code X with start date 01/01/2009
    Now I hire an employee XYZ with this position X from start date 01/01/2009.
    When I go and see position X in PO13 it shows following relationships
    1)     Position 1234 - Org Unit A from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
    2)     Position 1234 u2013 Job Code X from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
    3)     Position 1234 u2013 Person XYZ from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/9999
    Perfect till now.
    Now if I change the Org Unit of the Position 1234 from A to B from date 01/04/2009 using PO13.
    A new record is created in IT0001 with start date 01/04/2009 and previous record is delimited.
    But now if I check the relationships in PO13 for position 1234 I donu2019t see the new record for Position 1234 and Org Unit B.
    However the previous relationship between position 1234 and Org Unit A is delimited till 31/03/2009.
    Why am I not able to see the assignment of Positon 1234 with new Org Unit B? Any reason why I am getting such an error?

    When you have changed the Position 1234 to org Unit  B from 01.04.2009 then the previous relationship will not show in po13, it goes into History which you can see in Complete Position Description..
    goto pp01 and select that position and create relationship with Org Unit B... am not sure why in Infotype 0001, previous record get delimited and new record got created..

    The Org Unit field in IT 0001in PA is not capturing the ORG unit stored in OM.Integration is active between OM and PA currently.The Job and position fields are carrying over without any issues.

    I got the same prob, and resolved with the following. Replied for general help purpose.  As this  post is from Dec, hopfully u hv already done.
    please do the following steps.
    **Go to Tcode SA38
    1- Run report RHINTE10
    program allows you to create object types in Personnel Administration (HR-PA) which have already been set up in Personnel Planning and Development (HR-PD) and which are needed for integration. dont forget to uncheck "Test" check box.
    The following object types are relevant to integration:
    PD  PA
    Work center (object type A) Tables T528B, T528T
    Job (Object type C) Tables T513, T513S
    Position (Object type S) Tables T528B, T528T
    Organizational unit (Object type O) Table T527X
    2) Run RHINTE20
    This program can be used to check whether the relevant object types for integration have been created in both Personnel Administration (HR-PA) and Personnel Planning and Development (HR-PD).
    The entries in the HR tables T513/T513S (job), T528B/T528T (position, work center) and T527X (organizational unit) are compared with the corresponding objects that have been created in the HRPnnnn file for PD in the integration plan version.
    Objects that are missing either in PA or PD can be created immediately
    3- Also check ur org struct in PPOME.  Hope ur prob will b ok with 1st two task
