PR requistion from PM order

Hi,
When creating PM order user is not sure about responsible purchasing group.  Once PM order is converted to P.Requisition, the purchasign department should put the responsible purchasign groups and process PO.  Our issue is the P.Requisitions having P.Grps created from PM order is not editable. Is there any option, which we can use so that field p. group is editable for P.Reqs created from PM order?
Kindly suggest.

Hi,
I'm not sure how the Order types has been configured in your company, but there is a way to default Purchasing Group according to Order Type.
Maybe this will help you.
You can do this by:
1) SPRO --> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Functions and settings for Order Type --> Create Default Value Profiles for External procurement
Here, create a profile which can be used for a/all order type(s). In this profile you will maintain the default purchasing group/material group. My profiles have name similar to my Order type.
2) SPRO --> Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Functions and settings for Order Type --> Default Values for task list data and profile assignments
Here, according to your Order Type, assign the profile created in Step 1 under the ExternProfile.
In the future, whenever you create a external MO, it will choose Purchasing Group that you have specified in Step 1/2.
This is just an idea, hope it helps.

  • Automatically creating an internal requistion from an order

Is it possible to create an internal requisition from an sales order automatically?
I can create a purchase requisition easily, but cannot get it to create an internal requisition to create an internal sales order. I have the following
    1) Internal customer setup linked to an hr location
    2) hr location linked to an inventory org
    3) sourcing rules set to transfer from org b to org a
    4) Item set as replenish to order.

    Hi,
I Think we cannt change it bcz its in grey mode. Once we set controlling area that order is created in that controlling area and we can have same controlling area for different co.codes.
Suppose if we set different controlling area and try to create any order with out reference it gets change to different co.code.
The reason may be that while creating Controlling area if u have set controlling area same as Co.code then we cannt change.

  • Copy "Ship to party" from sales order to "Delivery addreess" in PO

    Hi All,
when i create a Purchase Order in ref to the Purchase Requistion of the Sales Order, I want the Ship to Party address from line item of the Sales Order needs to get copied to the Purchase Order line item in "Delivery address" tab of the PO.
Please tell me the required configuration settings to achieve this.
    Awaiting your responses.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rgds.
    Anil.

    Hi All,
This is a third party scenario. And in third party scenarios I guess the ship to party address from sales order will be automatically copied into the delivery address of the PO (Standard Functionality of SAP). But some how this is not happening and use to happen till the sixth week. Do I still need to check the enhancements given by the experts above? or we can achieve this with some configuration settings from schedule lines etc?

  • Creation of PO's from Oracle Order Management

    Required Business Scenario
Customer orders are received via the internet and imported into Oracle Order Management via an open interface table. The customer orders are processed by Oracle OM and converted to Purchase Orders which are then sent to suppliers (as no stock is held at our site). Goods are then shipped directly to the customer by the supplier. We take a commission for the service offered.
    Problem
As we take a commission for the service described above, the value of the Purchase Order will be different to the value of the original order received via Order Management, however Oracle Purchasing does not allow you to place a Purchase Order on a percentage basis terms. (we will take a small commission as a percentage of the value of the original order meaning the value of the Purchase Order will be slightly less than the value of the original order). The following scenario attempts to explain the situation:
Order received via Oracle Order Management
    5 units @ $20 = $100
Purchase Order created from above order (required scenario)
    5 units @ $19.70 = $ 98.5
    Our commission @ 1.5% = $ 1.5
Has anyone encountered this scenario before? If so I would appreciate assistance in how to resolve this issue. How can we create a Purchase Order from the order received via Order Management which will have a different value and allows us to take a percentage as commission?
    Thanks

  • Creation of automatic PO from sales order in 3rd party scenario

    hi ,
we know, as per standard SAP ,  creation of PR from Sales order happens when we save SO. how to create PO automatically from sales order? and where where to put document type for  that PO ? ( in schedule line category we can set document type for PR)

    Hello
In addition to what Kapil suggested,
3 - The Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record shall be maintained which will allow the automatic copying of unit price and other conditions into PO and
4 - The Source List shall be maintained for the nominated vendor which was shown in either the Outline Agreement or Purchasing Info Record.
By activating those config you can automatic create PO from PR.
For that use TCode ME59 to automatically convert the current PR into PO.
But, you can not automatically generate PO from sales order similar to that of PR.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Creation of PO from Sales Order

    Hi
Please let me know if there is any standard oracle functionality by which we can ensure that Purchase Orders does not contain items from sales orders. e.g. if there are multiple sales order then one PO should be generated for each sales order.
At the time of Requisition Import, we can specify the parameters like
    1.     Buyer
    2.     Category
    3.     Item+
    4.     Location
    5.     Vendor
There is no parameter like Sales Order , so we’ll end up creating PR from multiple sales orders and then PO would be created from PRs.
Let me know if we can achieve the functionality of create unique PO for each Sales Order.
    Thanks,

If you have different vendors for items on a sales order, you will have to create different POs.
Assuming all items go to the same vendor, you can consider a simple customization as follows
Write a before-insert trigger on the po_requisition_lines_interface and make the requisition_number or group_code same for all items on a given Sales order.
That will make the Requisition Import program put all such lines on one requisition.
    Hope this helps,

  • Is there is a way to have a link from purchase order to cost center report.

Is there is a way to have a link from purchase order to cost center report.
    I am meaning kind of:
Standard way to customized this link?
    or
User exit to have this link in place
    or
    Any other solution
    Thanks

For me it does not make any sense from going from PO to cost center report.
However, if you want to see the purchase order cost incurred with a cost center, execute KSB1 report. Within the layout, bring "Purchasing Document" field, where you can see the purchase order number in cost center line item report.

  • Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

    Hi !
We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
From the PO created, we post GRPO.
    Now our need is,
Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?
    Meera.

    Meera,
Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario.  There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.

  • Sales order - show total plan costs (from production order) on sales order

    Hi all,
    I have the following question/scenario:
We create prodction order to collect cost (hours) for a service. There exists also a material master for this service.
The confirmed hours are posted on the production order and then setteld to the respective sales order (settlement rule SDI).
What to I have to maintain/customize to show the total plan cost (for the service) on gthe sales order?
If I check the sales order via VA03 --> environment --> cost report , I can see the planned sales revenue but no planned costs?
(the actual value flows work so far, postings via settlement or billing document).
I hope the topic is understandable. Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Planned costs from prod order can not show on sale order.. Both are 2 separate entities in their own respects
Unless you calculate sales order cost estimate on your sales order, you cant see planned costs on sale order...
To calculate sale order cost estimate, make settings in your requirement class...
    1. Go to procurement tab of sale order
    2. See whats the requirement type
    3. Go to IMG > Controlling > Prod cost Contr > Cost Obj Contr > Prod Cost by Sales Order > Control of Requirements
    4. Here you can see mapping of req type to req class....
    5. If you want to have sales order costing and have sales order as CO object inorder to have sales order wise profitability, you should have following settings in Req class...
    >Acct Assignment Category should be E
    >Costing: Either Blank or X
    >Costing Id and Costing Method: As per your requirement

  • Open Multiple PDF files from Production order/Routing

    Hi Everyone
We are in ECC 6.0 environment. We have a scenario where multiple documents were attached to single operation and also at multiple operations. But when I was trying to open these PDF documents, only the last file was getting opened and closing the previous file. How can I open multiple PDF files at one time from Production order or Routing?
    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Prasad,
from DMS standard I regret but such a functionality is not available. In the standard originals can be opened only one after another.
I think for realising this functionality an individual modificatoin is necessary.

  • Address not copied from Sales order/Delivery to Shipment Document

    Hello Experts,
I need your help on Addrss of ship to in shipment document.
    Sales Order[VA01] >> Delivery [Vl01N]>> Shipment [VT01N].
User changed the Address of ship to party (Header level) in Sales Order and It reflected to delivery as well and I believe It should also update the address in Shipment document.
But when I checked the Address of the Customer/Unloading point in Shipment Document [VT03N] (as below) I found It was not updated It was same as Customer Master Record and I believe It directly copied from Customer Master Record.
BUT While creating the Shipment system is copying the data from Customer master Record not from Sales Order /Delivery. Logically system should copy the updated address from Order/Delivery BUT It is directly copying from Customer Master i don't know where is the setting of this ??
Can anybody help me on this ? How system takes the customer (ship to party) address in shipment ? Where are the setting of these.
What I need to do so system take the updated address from Sales Order/Delivery not from Customer Master Record (Ship to party).
Can I change the address of customer in shipment document ??
    Awaiting your precious reply.
    Thanks,

    Hello Samir,
    Thanks for your response.
I think you get my question in wrong way.
I am sayingCustomer master data was not changed.
User just changed the Address in Order (Order > Header >> Partner tab >> Change ship to address/overwrite ship to address).
Overwritten Address / Updated address are copying in Delivery BUT not in Shipment document.
What I need to do?  system should copy the updated address from Sales Order/Delivery BUT it is copying from Ship to party.
I hope this time i am clear to explain my issue.
