Pre Invite Response

I submitted this in another thread in response to a Palm administrator asking if there are still any issues out there with the meeting invite responses from a pre as they were supposed to be fixed.
http://forums.palm.com/palm/board/crawl_message?board.id=activesync&message.id=6172
I still seem to be having issues. Within our own exchange environment, a response email is sent back saying accept with nothing in body.  However, attendee status is not updated.  Still shows as not replied.  From a user that just uses outlook and invites, the pre sends back a response email with accepted in subject.  In body, a ton of header info is supplied along with something that appears to be encrypted.  Also, status in calendar event is not updated.
Any help would be appreciated!
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

I'm a new pre user and my problem with mtg invites is that they come into either gmail or my Bell inbox without the response buttons  which the user manual indicates should be available in the email.  Most invites are coming to me from MS outlook calendars.  Is anyone else have these issues?  I can respond from my desktop as expected, but not from the Pre.

    Hi,
You can use table- bbp_pdhgp to know the bids agains a bid invitation. Query this table for fields src_object_type as 'bus2200' and src_guid with bid invitation guid no. src_guid is the bid invitation no. guid. This guid you can get from table crmd_orderadm_h.

  • Create Bid Invitation response in background

    Hi All,
We have to create bid invitation response (from the vendor side ) in the background , not using the standard SRM screen and this program should update the bid invitation the customer has created.
Is there any way to do this?
    Points will be awarded.
    Thanks in advance,

. You can use standard SAP function modules for this. Please refer this thread for full details:

  • Removing pre filled responses in text field

New to livecycle and I am creating a new form and have been simultaneously testing it. When i am entering information in a text field all of the information I have entering pre populates and I'm worried the end user will see this. I cant seem to remove this and ots vey distracting. How do I clear this?

    Hi,
Can you describe further what do you mean by prepopulates when you enter info? Do you mean an auto-completion like pre-population? Or does the field get prepopulated BEFORE you key in any values in the text field? Or do you mean the text field ignores what is being typed in, and pre-populates with a default value?

  • Palm Pre - No response on receiving or making calls

Hello, I am having a problem making and receiving calls on my Palm Pre.  The phone rings during an inbound call but when I answer, I hear nothing.  The person at the other end can also not hear anything.  Similarly, when I invoke the phone interface a make a call, it displays the call as connected, but neither me nor the other person can hear anything.
Other than this, the applications are working fine.  I have tried restarting the phone and also removing the battery and restarting, but it has not helped.
Any one have an idea on what could be going wrong?
    Thanks.

What about if you use a wired headset? Can you hear calls then?
Could be the headset jack stuck in "headphone" mode thus the sound issue. Try removing and inserting the headset into the jack a few times and see if the sound restores.

  • How to fix blank To field on Invitation responses

When I respond to an Invitation in iCal, the subsequent email lacks an address in the To field and can't be sent. This is a new problem. It was working fine. Any ideas for a fix? Thanks!

    /* Line 76 */
    .content
      width: 980px;
      margin-right: auto;
      margin-left: auto;
    position: relative;
    height: 100%;
Why set the height? The height should be automatic depending on the amount of content. If there is a problem that the box does not extend to the amount of content, then there are several fixes, one of them being the overflow property set to hidden.
I also fail to see why you should be using positioning through out your document.
To allow for a space between .container and .footer2, simply apply a margin to either.

  • My phone only sends invite responses when I decline the meeting.

    Hi,
I have a blackberry passport and I love it! I always get questions about it! So Thank you!
I do have one issue with accepting or declining work gmail calendar invites.
My phone only responds to meeting invite with an email when I decline the invite.
If I click accept, nothing happens. If I decline first, then accept, then my status on google calendar is accepted.
    How do I fix this?
I have a work gmail account which I've set up using Microsoft Exchange Active Sync.

It's because the phone number hasn't activated yet. This could be because the APN settings for Straight talk are not correct. It also can take up to 24 hours for the number to activate through the iMessage servers.

  • Must invitees send an email response for their attendance status to be recorded?

Here is the scenario: Server is Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 SP2 and client is Outlook 2010
    - You use Microsoft Outlook to schedule a meeting and invite attendees.
    - The attendees accept or decline the meeting but some choose NOT
    to send their meeting responses.
    - In the tracking for the calendar event, only those who actually emailed a response are updated.
Is this the expected behavior? Exchange uses email to track invitation responses? We have many people who accept meeting invitations but choose not to send a response to reduce overall email clutter. Anecdotally, I hear this was not the case in earlier versions
    of Exchange.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
If we are talking about the Meeting Tracking window in Calendar, the status will be updated when the attendee sends a response. If the attendee doesn't send the response, which means Outlook doesn't get an answer, then Tracking information won't
    be updated.
Assuming the organizer knows the attendees have accepted the request, he can switch to the tracking page then click in the Response field and select a response.
    Regards.

  • How to respond to invitations with text

in outlook it's possible to reply to an invitation witha comment, such as 'i can't do that time but will try to duck out', or 'please offer another time slot'. i don't see the ability to do that via mail and ical. does anyone know if it's possible?
Same question about 'counterpropose' as in outlook one can offer another time when invited to a meeting. does that feature exist in ical?

  • Calendar invites - none iCloud users left out?

I have been using Google Calendar for a long time, using the ability to invite none Google Calendar users to some of my events. These users are able to accept or decline my invites, so given that iCloud is a competitor to Google, I would assume that iCloud was able to do the same. It won't!
When sending invites to none iCloud users, they are given the opportunity to accept or decline the invite, but doing so sends them to an iCloud page "not found".
Is this just one of many bugs or will Apple not allow none iCloud users to accept/decline an invitation?

I've been taking a closer look. If an invitee clicks on one of the buttons in the invitation mail, it opens a web page with a URL something like:
    https://www.icloud.com/calendar/eventreply/nl-nl/?<verylongeventid>#reply=accept
I got some invitation responses though while testing, but all from people abroad (I'm in the Netherlands). I figured it might be just the Dutch version of the response page. So I changed the 'nl-nl' part of the URL into 'en-us' and reloaded the page. Voila! Loads flawlessly.
So it seems there's something wrong with the Dutch version of the page (or the script behind it). Might be the case with other languages too. I've thrown my findings into the feedback form at http://www.apple.com/feedback/icloud.html. Let's hope they'll pick it up...

  • Receiving outlook calendar invites

I receive outlook diary invitations from an exchange and they now come as winmail.dat files and I can't add them to ical... In fact I cant do anything with them. Help please.

I do not believe the article referenced (see below) is correct.
Mac OS X Mail: What is a winmail.dat attachment?
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2614
It says to "ignore" winmail.dat files, or to call the sender and ask them to change their settings.
Most users in an exchange setting have no capability to change their settings: their employer will not allow it.  And even if they could, it is not appropriate to ask.  I have tried and it does not work.
Apple needs to find a way to translate these files.  I use a freeware program called TNEF for word and excel files, but for calendar invitation responses (where the recipient either accepts or rejects the calendar invitation),  I cannot process a calendar notice that comes in a winmail.dat format, meaning that I then have to track acceptance and rejection manually.
TNEF can show me the message's content, but does not give me an executable file that causes my calendar to identify and accept the response.
This just feels like Apple continuing its fight with Microsoft, and refusing to cooperate.

  • Full responsive websites

Does Adobe BC have any plans in the near future to include pre-coded responsive website templates built for the BC platform? If so, would that include a fully functioning online shop in responsive format...
Can anyone shed some insight into how they are dealing with responsive websites integrated with BC modules like webapps, BC's online shop framework etc... any major pitfalls to look out for?

It seems unlikely that will happen in the short term.  The current templates took a long time and some areas of those are haphazardly integrated.
Responsive web requires planning on an individual site basis so it's hard to throw anything specific out there.  The majority of BC is fine, especially web apps being you're building them from scratch.
eCommerce can be tricky in areas (shopping cart, order history, invoices etc.) just because they often need a bit of rebuilding as they're tables and tend to stretch the mobile boundaries.
Some areas you need to make sure you get rid of the tables entirely by telling BC to use LI's in the module tag.
Overall you just need to plan it out, perhaps build a couple of frameworks you can start from so the basics are there when you start a site.
Scott Reynolds just did a responsive presentation on the BC Sandpile: http://www.bcsandpile.com/business-catalyst/resources.htm (Under previous sandpiles).
Here is a site we finished early this month that is responsive and eCommerce: http://bit.ly/ZKKr1u

  • CUCM 8.6 Call Forwarding to External Number Issue

    Hello,

    SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden error
If your router is sending a SIP/2.0 403 Forbidden error to the SIP server you are registered to, there is a good chance your  router is blocking the incoming call due to the toll-faud prevention  feature that was added to IOS version 15.1(2)T.
How to Identify if TOLLFRAUD_APP is Blocking Your Call
If the TOLLFRAUD_APP is rejecting the call, it generates a Q.850       disconnect cause value of 21, which represents ‘Call Rejected’. The       debug voip ccapi inout command can be run to       identify the cause value.
Additionally, voice iec syslog can be       enabled to further verify if the call failure is a result of the toll-fraud       prevention. This configuration, which is often handy to troubleshoot the origin       of failure from a gateway perspective, will print out that the call is being       rejected due to toll call fraud. The CCAPI and Voice IEC output is demonstrated       in this debug output:
%VOICE_IEC-3-GW: Application Framework Core: Internal Error (Toll fraud call rejected):
    IEC=1.1.228.3.31.0 on callID 3 GUID=F146D6B0539C11DF800CA596C4C2D7EF

       >>>>CCAPI handed cid 3 with tag 1002 to app "_ManagedAppProcess_TOLLFRAUD_APP"
    000185: *Apr 30 14:38:57.251: //3/F146D6B0800C/CCAPI/ccCallDisconnect:
       Cause Value=21, Tag=0x0, Call Entry(Previous Disconnect Cause=0, Disconnect Cause=0)
The Q.850 disconnect value that is returned for blocked calls can also       be changed from the default of 21 with this command:
    voice service voip
    ip address trusted call-block cause
How to Return to Pre-15.1(2)T Behavior
    Source IP Address Trust List
There are three ways to return to the previous behavior of voice       gateways before this trusted address toll-fraud prevention feature was       implemented. All of these configurations require that you are already running       15.1(2)T in order for you to make the configuration change.
Explicitly enable those source IP addresses from which you would like           to add to the trusted list for legitimate VoIP calls. Up to 100 entries can be           defined. This below configuration accepts calls from those host           203.0.113.100/32, as well as from the network 192.0.2.0/24. Call setups from           all other hosts are rejected. This is the recommended method from a voice           security perspective.
    voice service voip
    ip address trusted list
      ipv4 203.0.113.100 255.255.255.255
      ipv4 192.0.2.0 255.255.255.0
Configure the router to accept incoming call setups from all source           IP addresses.
    voice service voip
    ip address trusted list
      ipv4 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
Disable the toll-fraud prevention application completely.
    voice service voip
    no ip address trusted authenticate
    Two-Stage Dialing
If two-stage dialing is required, the following can be configured to       return behavior to match previous releases.
    For inbound ISDN calls:
    voice service pots
    no direct-inward-dial isdn
    For inbound FXO calls:
    voice-port
    secondary dialtone

  • Upgrade to Creative Cloud 7 days ago - still no access to full products customer service not helpful

I upgraded to the full Creative Cloud access on the 13th of April through customer service. I saw a promotional offer for $29.99/month for access to all the CC apps, but since I was already signed up for Premiere Pro CC at $19.99/month it said I needed to speak to customer service to upgrade.
I did that. The customer service rep upgraded my service to $29.99/month and assured me that I would now have access to the full creative suite.
You can see that I was billed for $29.99 on April 13th:
After that upgrade nothing changed on my end. I had full access to Adobe Premiere CC like before, but otherwise all other programs(photoshop, illustrator, etc) still downloaded and ran as trial versions. I contacted customer service two more times. They were unable to resolve the problem and only escalated the ticket.
I have not had any response from either ticket. And looking at it now it looks like one of them is listed as "withdrawn" with no notes from Adobe's end and no resolution to my problem. The other ticket is still open pending Adobe's response.
To top it all off today in Premiere CC I received a notice that I would lose access to Premiere in 5 days because of some error in the billing information. So in 5 days time I will be paying $29.99/month and have access to zero Adobe products.
So I'm writing this post in hopes of actually getting someone that can solve my problems to take a look. I don't want to spend another 2 hours in a chat-box with an overseas customer service rep who only copys and pastes pre-formatted responses to me. I don't want my ticket escalated and then ignored. I want the service that I paid for, or I want my money refunded.
What I think happened is that the customer service rep who upgraded my membership to the full creative cloud suite forgot to flip some switch. It seems like they increased my billing rate but didn't actually change my subscription.
Here's the picture that shows exactly what service shows up in my account:
Here's what my creative cloud app shows - notice that I only have access to trial versions of most of the software:
Please don't tell me to try logging out of creative cloud, or deleting files on my end, or check my DNS settings, or any of that. I've been through it - twice - with your customer service reps already. It did nothing. The issue is on Adobe's side. Somewhere in some database my account is not set to full creative cloud access. There is nothing I can do on my end to rectify this.
Please - I would either like this rectified, or have my money refunded. Anything else is unacceptable. And as a whole my experience with customer service has been frustrating, unhelpful, and not up to the standards I expect from a high-class company like Adobe.

Have you logged out of your Cloud subscription and then back in?
