I have gone through the forum to get help (validation of internet, validation of the ability to access secure servers, the validity of the ceritificate....) but nothing is working for me. Would someone have additional info. to handle this situation ? Thanks

The reason I found this problem is that I did a complete reset of my iPhone, so it reset all the content, through settings on the phone. That ended up deleting the ringtones I had. I tried searching up the same tones, however you can't "Install" already purchased stuff like you can in the AppStore.
I can't "iTunes wifi-sync" because you need to have connected at least once to the computer before you can wifi-sync, but because I reset my phone, it doesn't "remember" it once synced with my Mac cause I reset it.
I have gone through the "iTunes connectivity troubleshooting", nothing worked.

My iPhone charges fine with the USB-Wall outlet adapter, so its not the lightning connector or the USB connector on the other end of the cord.
All the USB ports on my Mac are functionning (working with other cords for printers, etc.), but still the iPhone persists not to be recognized in iTunes.
So I am guessing iTunes is the problem.
Any Help, Solutions, Suggestions, would be appreciated.

I just purchased an Apple TV MD199LL/A, got it connected to my internet. I can go to Youtube and watch videos. I'm able to access Netflix. All seems well except I cannot connect to my iTunes account. I have gone through the list - home sharing is set correctly on both iTunes and my Apple TV. The userid is correct on both.
Message "Loading prodrigu's library" and then "Could not connect to prodrigu's library".
I had this same problem when I installed the REMOTE application on my ipad. Everything on the list was affirmative, but had the same problem not being able to connect to my iTunes.
What is missing? Is there a firewall setting that could be causing this?I don't mean to be facetious but sometimes the simplest things are overlooked. To connect to your library you have to have the computer where the iTunes library is located running and with iTunes open. It also needs to be on the same network. My network is dual band and works with either stream but a friend of mine does not. He has to set the computer and the Apple TV to the same band. Hope this helps.

i have backed up my iphone 5 and have a 5s I want to set up from that backup file. I have gone through the process once, and when I next connect the new AND the old phone to the mac and open itunes, restore or create new phone comes up not synch?? Tried starting the whole process over once but same result. Seems not to recognise the phone and just synch as it should. Help?

My Ipod does not show in Itunes, when I connect it shows for a second a disappears again, I have gone through the trouble shooting but no luck?
:-) the problem is solved. Thanks to a great typ in one of the other discussions with alt+cmd+S iTunes looks again like something I recognize. After removing the iPod from iMac and also from the connecting "holder", turning it on ad off, rebooting the iMac, maggic happens and the iPod now shows in iTunes and everything works just fine.

My iPad keeps showing my inactive email as my apple ID instead of the current email. I have gone through the process of managing my account ....it has all been verified yet I cannot access my updates. What do I do?
- Have you went to Settings>Store and signed out and then signed back in?
- Did you by chance create a new account? Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to sign into that account to update apps purchased with that account. -
CS6 and Premiere Elements keeps asking for activation

I am a system engineer in a school. We have a K12 Site license for CS6 and we purchased about 30 single license versions of Premier Elements through certified resellers. I deployed CS6 a few years ago on our old PC's by installing the software on one computer and then cloning the pc 30 times with CloneZilla. That worked fine.
A year later i repeated the procedure on 25 other computers. No problem there.
Last summer i did the same to replace the 30 pc's i had cloned the first time. Since then i have to activate CS6 over and over again indicating a trial version. Also the other classroom with 25 pc' began to ask for activation after 2 years with no worries.
In oktober i Installed Premiere Elements on each individual computer one by one. And that went well for a few months but then all of a sudden PE began to prompt for activation. My collegues drive me crazy with their remarks and worries.
So far i tried to activate CS6 by creating a serialization file with the adobe application manager. When i run the file and retry the program i am no longer prompted for an activation... for a while.
There is no way to tell which device will prompt of when. It is random. Sometimes it is just one device, then all of a sudden it are 3-4.

Adobe Premiere elements 12 (individual license) requires sign in /activation if you have installed individually however you can suppress the sign window using Adobe provisioning toolkit

i rang adobe and they could not come up with a reason other than maybe mavericks issue
i will go to mac shop to day and see if they will put mountain lion back on my macbook pro

Premiere Element keep crashing in vista
is there a way to avoid Premiere element keep crashing on Vista Home edition?
My project has about 700 video clips and I am adding about 150 clips in the timeline and adding some transitions. I don't think I am doing some crazy editiing. However, it just keep crashing and close the application. does anyone know how to avoid it or any work around?
Right now i have to save my project every 5 minutes to save my work, this is like going back to 70's.And make sure you have Vista SP1 and at least 2 gigs of RAM and that you've optimized the operating system so that you're not wasting resources.

But Paul's definitely right. Particularly if you are editing other than video from a miniDV camcorder, your project is excessively large. The FAQs at the top of our forum tell you how to work on a large project in small parts.

IPad 1st generation keeps asking to be connected to iTunes every time

My 2nd iPad (1st generation) keeps asking to be connected every time it wakes up either from turn off or standby. I am really tired of restoring the same stuff again and again. If I am less lucky that day, Apple logo freezes forever until iPad gets so hot.
Are there any suggestions? I am using latest version of iTunes, tried connecting to Windows PC using different ports and 4 different cables, there are no security conflicts etc or TCP/IP issues.
Shall I return it to Apple? It is only 7 days that I had this delivered. I do not want to worship to this gadget - want to read my stuff, check my emails and all basic stuff. Tired of recovering 2-3 times a day. Waste of my time.
Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I was not able to connect to my itunes and/or sync because of it... I found this in another thread and it solved my issues and everything is working for me now...
I found this, easy enough to follow solution that actually worked. in a single user's post in the forums here somewhere. Can't find it again to say thanks to whoever it was, which prompted me to post it everywhere so everyone else can find it:
(Note: this is for Windows 8, but the solution for other versions is similar - you might need to try a few other folders, but are still looking for "Apple Device" under "Device Manager".)
Connect your iPad/iPhone/iPod to your PC
Go to: Control Panel > Device Manager
Click on: Portable Devices
Right click on: Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod > Update Driver Software
Choose: Browse my computer for driver software.
Go to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
Click okay and everything should suddenly work fine again. (I can't remember if I had to choose "trust" again, but if I did, I only had to do it the once and everything was fixed after that).

Hi! I work with Photoshop/Premiere Elements 10 on my snow leopard (10.6.8) without problems since years. Now I want to move over to the new MacBook Pro (and lion 10.7.5) but only Photoshop runs on it, every Premiere version (I downloaded Elements 12 and further more) stops installation and shows Installation ERROR: ASU has quit unexpectedly, Media DB Error: 18. I would appreciate your help on how to configure a gmail in a way it ask for the password everytime I connect?. In the only way I can configure it I have to include the pw when configuring the account and after that it do not ask for pw so everyone that shares my iPad can oppen my mail with no pw required.
ThankThe iPad is designed to be a single user device, and there is currently no way to password protect the Mail app - even removing the account password from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars will just prevent new mail being downloaded, it won't hide those that have already been downloaded. There is this work-around for the app : https://discussions.apple.com/message/13127632#13127632 . Also there might be third-party email apps that feature password protecting.
