Preview Mode not displaying in VS 2012

Good Day To all,
I recently install VS 2012 ver 4.5 on my machine. After a few configurations I was able to connect to our SQL server and create a sample report, but when I try to preview the report I get the following error. I've looked into some of threads that relate
to the possible problem but was still unable to resolve this problem can some one help

Base on my research, the error "CreateProcess failed with Error Code: 5" error, it usually occurs due to sufficient permissions. the same behavior and error could be reproduced by launching a Remote Desktop session in Seamless or Remote Applications
Integrated Locally (RAIL) mode.
Here, I suggest that you try the following steps:
In the Report Designer, right click the report and click "Run" to see if the report can be previewed properly in the pop-up window.
Log onto the computer with an administrator account and check the issue again.
If the report development environment is the SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) shipped with SQL Server 2012 and you launch the SSDT via Remote Desktop Procotol (RDP) in Seamless/RAIL mode , SSDT will fail to launch Preview process. This is by design.

Preview does not display pdf properly

I have OS X 10.5.8 and Preview 4.2. Preview will not display a bank statement properly. Most of the content is missing. I initially thought this was the bank's fault, but the pdf statement displays OK on my work Mac using Adobe Acrobat Professional. On Preview, howerver, at work (OS X 10.4) it also does not display properly.
Can anyone suggest a fix, or does Apple read these discussions...? Thanks. Graham

"Preview is meant for previewing PDFs generated by OSX applications for printing.
OSX uses its own code to generate and display PDFs, not Adobe's code.
Adobe has been adding features to its PDF code that is used by some non-Apple software.
PDFs generated by such software may not display correctly with Preview, but will work with the latest Adobe Reader."

Annotated PDF from Preview will not display annotations in iPad mail

I have an Annotated PDF from Preview will not display annotations in iPad mail, yet, it will display them on my Macbook Air. I confirmed this with another iPad user. Same results. Any ideas.

I had the same issue. iAnnotate PDF will display your annotations made in preview and allow you to annotate on the iPad. It is a great app, I and quite happy with it.

Illustrator CC 18.1.1 print preview is not displaying preview properly. Any work around?!

I only started having this problem recently. It might be a Yosemite bug or graphics driver bug. When I go to print in the latest version of Illustrator CC 18.1.1 I get a shrunken window of what print preview should be (see below).
Circumstances are that I have my MBP 15" Retina connected to a Apple Thunderbolt Display. When I'm working in Illustrator on the Thunderbolt display and have the laptop screen open beside it, print preview will not display correctly. If I drag the print dialog box over to the laptop screen, it then shows print preview correctly. Also, I found that if I close the laptop screen and just work off the Thunderbolt display print preview works correctly again. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY! Please Help!

Photosmart 2610 all-in-one Scan preview does not display

Recovering from a hard-disk crash, I've just reinstalled my Photosmart 2610 all-in-one using the driver and software package for Windows XP : rub_W01_Americas_Euro1_NB.exe. downloaded from the HP support site. All seems to be running well, except for a glitch when I try to scan: the document Preview does not display. I have made certain that the Preview checkbox is duly selected, but nothing seems to help. It is the same whether I'm scanning a picture or a document. It also makes no difference whether I launch the scan from HP Director or from within another application.
Note that if I click Accept, the document (or picture) will indeed be scanned and saved. But I won't see it until I open it with some other application.
Thoughts, anybody?

I understand you are unable to see your scanned preview with your Photosmart 2610. I would suggest the guide below to use for troubleshooting steps for this issue.

Displaying Output in PREVIEW Mode, not through Concurrent program View O/p

Hello All,
I am very new to the XML Publisher. In my very first report, i am facing some problem. i.e
I have built the template and loaded the sample XML File into it, able to see the output in PREVIEW Mode.
But, when i register this to a Template and Data Definition, i am not able to see the output values, instead i could able to get only the Hard coded values in the Template.
EX: In, ' BILL TO: ' and <?bill_to?>
i am getting only this hard code value of 'BILL TO:' but not the value of Bill to.
Please help me in figuring out the problem.

Preview will not display jpegs in Snow Leopard on MacPro

I have read every posting on this site, deleted Entourage, deleted the Preview files suggested, and still I can't get jpeg images to display on my MacPro (I can get PDFs and thumbnails just fine). I have the same operating system on my iMac, and Preview, works fine (even with Entourage on the computer) and always has. This problem arose when I moved everything from my iMac to a MacPro I bought from a friend, and found to my shock Preview does not work. I reloaded Snow Leopard and that did nothing. Then, as I indicated, I did all the suggestions posted here, but had no success. Is there something wrong with the MacPro? I don't want to upgrade to Lion on this computer because I need it for editing on FCP 7. I do documentaries and really need Preview to work. The previous owner did not need Preview for images when he used the computer so I don't know if it ever worked. Any ideas? Last resort, I will upgrade the MacPro to LIon and see if Preview works. If it does, I will just use the MacPro for Avid projects and continue to use my iMac for Final Cut projects. I just want to see if there is anything I can try before I do this.

Don't know who would have suggested that, but it was completely unnecessary. Entourage and Preview have absolutely no affect on each other.

With the hardware itself? No, it's obviously a software issue.
This problem arose when I moved everything from my iMac to a MacPro
What do you mean by "everything"? Every single item, including the OS from the iMac, or just your user account and apps by using Migration Assistant?
I reloaded Snow Leopard and that did nothing.
Snow Leopard disks that came with the Mac Pro, or a retail copy?

Preview monitor not displaying properly

i just did a clean install of leopard, then did a clean install of FCS2, and then ran all the updates. a couple days later i try to run color (which worked on this machine when i had tiger)and the preview window is very funky and not usable. i have attached a screenshot. i tried restarting, tried other clips, tried other formats- but nothing seems to get the preview to actually display the video properly.
color did work on this exact setup before i upgraded the OS. I bought anew harddrive and installed everything from scratch. i have the ati x1900 as the main card with pcie lane width set to 16 as well as an ati hd 2600xt with the lane width set to 1x. i have a mac pro with 8 gigs of ram, 8 core x 3.0ghz.
working with prorez footage. no special hardware add ons at all. sent to color command in fcp kept causing a crash as soon as i tried to playback in color (and preview monitor still didn't work).

Colormunki is a known no-no with Color. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8640308&#8640308
Searching the forum can reveal your answers, if you use the search function.
However, a color profiler does nothing to help you with regard to consistent color when working with video. Again, you need to use a video input/output device (I sound like a blasted broken record with this) with a video display device capable of a daily setup, like a projector or a video crt or flat panel. Using computer monitors with Color is worthless.

Preview window not displaying video

As of yesterday when I was in the middle of a project, the preview window simply stopped displaying all video being played off the timeline. It previews the videos in the top left window just fine though. I restarted the program and it still did not fix the problem.
However it seems to be acting strangely in that at random times the video will show up, but then dissappear again once it passes an edit point. I also tried dropping a new clip in the timeline, which caused every thing to work again. Then 10 seconds later the preview disabled not allowing me to see anything. Whether I play it or keep it paused at a point, nothing shows up.
I have been editing this same project for a couple of weeks with no problems. I know it has nothing to do with the media. Running off the latest update and latest OS software.

Actually I just took out one of the clips, which seemed to be causing the problem. No idea why that is since its the same format as the others.
I forgot to mention another unrelated problem going on. Sometimes during playback the audio will revert to a loud buzzing sound at random points in the timeline. Its at a different point every time. Sometimes happens 5 times in a row. Other times every thing will be fine for a few hours.
I trashed the prefs, repaired permissions and rebooted.
Edit: forgot to mention the audio levels are well below red line

UPK preview topic not displaying after being published

Please log a support ticket using My Oracle Support (http://support.oracle.com/). They will be able to assist you.
In the meantime, I would suggest publishing to the Player style to test the content and to see if you have similar problems launching content. If you have similar problems, it might be a bit easier to see what's happening since you can keep trying to open the content without going through the preview.

I understand this note is useful if Excise tab not dispalyed while doing MIRO. But the issue is -In dispaly mode of MIGO the excise tab is not dispalyed even though we have captured the Excise during MIGO.

Printer preview do not display the newest PO form

Hi experts,
I have encountered a problem in SRM EBP. When I changed a PO form's delivery address, and then print
the preview button, the pdf outputer do not display the newest PO form with the updated address, instead
with the old address. While if I wait for about 1 hour or just reenter the display po menu, the preview
displays the newest PO form. So my question is does it because the program which calls the smartforms
read data from cache? And when a smartform is used in a web application, can I just set some attributes
of the form to avoid the problem? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your answer. I have debuged the calling form process, the actual situation is wired.
When I changed the ship-to-address on the web, the adrc is updated immediately. But the connection
between the po and the ship-to-address is not updated. So the output preview just do what it should do,
read data from the database then display it. My question is why when the adrc is updated, then
connection between the po and the ship-to-address is not updated immediately, and when is the exactly
time that the connection can be updated.

Preview App not displaying all pages

I am finding under Mavericks Preview App is not displaying all pages of some pdf's.
If you turn on thumbnails you can see and select all the pages but it's not possible to scroll down through all the pages. Weird and annoying...

First, before you do anything else at all, make a copy of your file as a backup. You said "Book" but I'm thinking you mean in one file, not a combined file InDesign Book (.indb) project.
Now you need to test to see if this is a program problem or a file problem.
Are the pages still there? Can you choose them from the navigation box in the lower left corner of the document window?
Is this happening with any other documents? If you export this file to .inx (Interchange format) then open that, do the pages display properly?
If it's happening in other docs, or if .inx doesn't solve the problem, look at how to replace your application preferences here: Adobe InDesign CS4 * Setting preferences

On Mac OS 10.9 with Adobe CC 2014, preview icons not displaying

We've had increasing problems with icons in Photoshop, ever since CS6. We're now on PS CC 2014 and the latest MAC OS 10.9, and the issue with icons is becoming unbearable! We simply can't find things anymore, and it's starting to really be a problem.
At first it was just the little tiny preview icon in the title bar that disappeared and just shows a generic icon. But now the finder preview is not showing correctly with PSD files, and TIF files created in Photoshop. We thought it might be an OS issue, so we followed steps to delete the com.apple.preview.plst file and restart. But the problem persists. HOWEVER, if I open one of these files in GIMP, and then save, the icon comes back. Open the same file in PS and the icon disappears again.
Any idea how to fix this? It's driving us nuts.

You've been blaming this on Apple since CS6 and over the versions I've grown to really resent your response on this forum.
Why does GIMP, a free program save thumbnails correctly but the most expensive image editing program cannot?
I'd at least like an answer to the GIMP question. Why does it work and PS does not?

Preview Mode not working

Hello, I am having an issue with Muse's Preview Mode. When I try to preview in the browser, only the footer and background is showing. The rest of the page is blank.
I am using a Windows 8 Lenovo and using IE.
Any helpful input would be appreciated.

Are you working with an existing document or does it even happen when you create a blank document and draw a couple of paths?
