Price field in ME31K (create contract)

When creating contract in ME31K with reference to purchase requistion the price field does not appear in the tabular form and needs to be entered for each item in separate screen. Is there a way to activate the price screen in the table so it would be easier to enter the information?

Hi,
You will have to check the Field reference category assigned to your Contract document type. For the Selection group "Quantity & Price" select the indicator as either required or optional & not display.

  • Price Field Changeable while creating the Shopping cart

Hi We are in SRM 4.0 and follow a classic scenarios.
For some materials we run program EBP_GET_BACKEND_PRICES
and get the prices from the backend, how ever while creating a shopping cart if the price differs we need to change the price but the field is grey.
how do we change the price ????
EX - My MAP in R/3 for Material A is  100 Rs. how ever while I create a shopping cart the price i need to enter is 102 how do I change the  price.
can anyone throw light on this.
    regards,
    Nimish Sheth

    Nimish,
for this you have to change the standard code.
In screen communication structures, there is a flag "price_changeable" that controls the edit mode of price field.
You have to change the standard logic to implement your behaviour in FORM price_changable_set from include LBBP_SC_APPF92:
      IF es_item-mode EQ gc_display OR
        ( es_item-rfq_ind EQ gc_yes AND es_item-price IS INITIAL ).
        CLEAR: es_item-price_changeable.
      ELSE.
IF NOT es_item-catalogid IS INITIAL OR
           es_item-price_origin EQ c_price_origin_f OR
           iv_scenario EQ c_sc_generic_soco OR
           iv_scenario EQ c_sc_generic_history OR
           iv_scenario EQ c_sc_generic_workload OR
           ( es_item-price NE es_item-gross_price AND
             NOT es_item-price IS INITIAL ).
          CLEAR: es_item-price_changeable.
        ELSE.
          es_item-price_changeable = gc_yes.
        ENDIF.

  • How to make non editable field after requestor created the shoping cart

    Hi,
i need to make non editable field (Price field) after requester created the shooping cart. The field should be  non editable only for requster .
this i need to make when workflow triggers when the buyer sends  back the shopping cart to requester.
one solution which i found:depend on the status of the shoping cart
but i dont know whether it is correct way.
if not please suggest me the solution.

    Hi,
You can implement the BADI" BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".
You can check for the role of the user who has logged in(e.g. for user REQUESTER,there will be a distinct role to idnetify that the user is a requester) and then acc set the display properties for the field PRICE.
For sample code pls refer the foll links:

But I hope that this condition record is applied in pruchasing contract when we create contract by ME31K. Plz kindly give me a suggestion.
So I want to check the condition dtermination is whether fullfil my requirement. If we can not use the price condition determination to get the net price, then we only go for user-exit to get it.

Why not, in me31k, click on condition button on toolbar for item conditions and for header conditions, click on menu bar path HEADER>CONDITIONS and maintain your conditions accordingly.

  • Ways of creating contract and process flow of contracts

    hi friends
ways of creating contract and process flow of contracts
    thanks for ur help
    regards
    krishna

    hi,
In the MM Purchasing component, a contract is a type of outline purchase agreement against which release orders (releases) can be issued for agreed materials or services as and when required during a certain overall time-frame.
Contracts can take the following forms:
    Quantity contracts
Use this type of contract if the total quantity to be ordered during the validity period of the contract is known in advance. The contract is regarded as fulfilled when release orders totaling a given quantity have been issued.
    Value contracts
Use this type of contract if the total value of all release orders issued against the contract is not to exceed a certain predefined value. The contract is regarded as fulfilled when release orders totaling a given value have been issued.
You can also set up corporate buying contracts with your vendors. These are valid for all plants and company codes within a client (see Centrally Agreed Contract).
You can create a contract as follows:
    Manually
You enter all data relating to the contract manually.
    Using the referencing technique
As reference document (the document you copy from), you can use:
    Purchase requisitions
    RFQs/quotations
    Other contracts
    CREATION OF CONTRACT MANUALLY:
    Choose Outline agreement --> Contract --> Create(ME31K)
    The initial screen appears.
Enter the necessary data. If you make any specifications under the group heading Default data, this data will appear as the default data in each item.
In the Agreement type field, specify whether you are creating a quantity or value contract, for example.
    Press ENTER .
    The header data screen appears.
Enter the contract validity period. Check the other fields on this screen and make any necessary changes (e.g. the terms of payment) and define the header conditions.
    Press ENTER .
    The item overview screen appears.
On this screen, enter the information for each item (material number, target quantity, price, receiving plant, or account assignment, etc.) using the same procedure as with purchase orders.
Material without a master record: leave the field for the material number empty and enter the following:
u2013 Short description of the relevant material or service in the Short text field
u2013 Material group to which the material belongs, in the Material group field
    u2013 Account assignment category
You can enter u (unknown) or the category of an account assignment.
u2013 The target quantity and the order unit
If you specify an account assignment category other than U (field A), you must enter the relevant account assignment data for the item. To do so, choose Item ® Account assignments (see also Account Assignment).
If necessary, review the details for each item. Select the item(s) to review. Then select Item -> Details.
    Enter the desired conditions.
Enter further text for the item if any additional instructions to the vendor or Goods Receiving are necessary. Choose Item -> Texts -> Text overview.
    Save the contract.
    Hope it helps..

  • PO - Service tab gross price field is in display mode

    Dear all,
    My client requires
Contract relase order with reference to Service contract, the price for the service codes which is adopted from the service contract, it is picking and displaying it contract release PO. But the gross price is in changeable mode. But i need the gross price field is in display mode. it should be in display mode while creating realse orders for contract.
    Expecting your earlier response
    Thanks in advance
    Raman

    Hi Raman,
If you follow the steps mentioned in the note 30316 you will be able to find why the price in the contract is in changeable mode...and then we will be able to change the price to display mode.
    Note: 30316
    1.  In Transaction SE37, display function module MEX_FELDAUSWAHL and set
a break point at the first statement.
    2.  Start the program where you suspect a problem with field selection.
The program should stop at the break point set above. Copy the
        import fields I_AUSWAHL0, I_AUSWAHL1, I_AUSWAHL2, I_AUSWAHL3,
I_AUSWAHL4, I_AUSWAHL5, and I_AUSWAHL6 to the list of field names.
The corresponding field contents show the field selection reference
keys that are composed as follows:
    3.  You can check the field selection reference keys found in
Customizing. For purchase requisitions, the Transaction code is
OMF2, for purchase orders it is OMF4, for contracts OMFA, for
scheduling agreements OMF7, for requests for quotation it is OME8.
        Or
Tcode: OLME  Contract  Define Screen Layout at Document Level
    4.  All keys from the AUSWAHLn fields are used to determine the field
selection and their status. They are set according to the following
         matrix.
See the matrix in the note
Alternatively, the following can be stated:
o  Field status 'Hidden' takes highest priority. This means that if
a reference key has defined the field as 'Hidden', all other
            reference keys are overruled.
o  Then follow statuses 'Display', 'Mandatory', and finally
'Optional'. Accordingly, a field is assigned the attribute
'Optional' only if all reference keys for the field are set to
            'Optional'.
I hope this information helps you to resolve behaviour.
    Best Regards,
    Gabriela

  • PO prices non - editablw while referencing contract

    Dear All,
I have created a contract and assigned to PR. While converting the same assigned PR to PO, i want to make the PO price and tax code field not ediatble as that will flow from contract.
Is it possible with same PO doc type ( as same PO doc type is used for POs without reference, with RFQ etc)
Or i need to create separate PO doc type for release orders and do the settings for theis new PO doc type.
Or is there other way wher in  I can restrict user so that he can not change the prices when PO is created with referencing a contract.
    Regards,
    Rakesh

    HI RAkesh,
You need to go for a seperate document type for release PO's to meet your requirement.  Then u configure field selection for the new doc type
    Hope this clarified ur doubt

  • Best Practice while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order

    Hi
What is the best practice with respect to Contract & Purchase Requisition?
IN T Code ME31K, there is a button Reference to PReq, meaning that we can create contract with using Purchase Requisition. (We have done the same)
While creating the Purchase Order using Contract, we could find Purchase Requisition reference in the Purchase Order; similarly when we created the Purchase Order using Purchase Requisition, we could find Contract reference in the Purchase Order.
    I have done the following:
    1. Create a Contract.
    2. Create a Purchase Requisition
    3. Assign Requisition and Create Purchase Order using T Code ME57.
    4. Create Purchase Order
Here in this case we could find references of both Contract & Purchase Requisition.
I just want to know what Practice should we adopt / advise while creating Contract, Purchase Requisition. & Purchase Order?
    Regards,

    Hi,
In ME51N Screen, enter Contract number in the "AGREEMENT" TAB and if more items in the contract, you can mention the item number in the next TAB to the AGREEMENT TAB and then proceed with creating PR by entering other details. This TAB you can find in the 4th column from extreme right end of PR screen.

  • Price field is not becoming invisible from the item overview of SRM quote

    Hi All,
I am facing a very unique problem . I need make certain fields invisible in the SRM quotation . One of them is the price field at the item level.
I have used BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI for the same. However the field is NOT becoming invisible from the item overview. It is becoming invisible from the item detail but NOT from the item overview.
Is it because the field is defined as display only in the code ?
I have implemented note 1062639. Other than this price field I am able to make all other fields invisible from the item overview.
    Code :
    IF iv_fieldname eq 'BBPS_BID_UI_ITEM-PRICE'.
            cv_invisible = 'X'.
    ENDIF.
    IF iv_fieldname eq 'BBPS_BID_UI_ITEM-PRICE_UNIT'.
            cv_invisible = 'X'.
    ENDIF.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to how to solve the problem ?

  • Problem when creating contract  with foreign trade / customs

    Hi,
I encountered a problem when creating contract / outline agreement.
I used ME31K to create a contract with a vendor outside of our country. I suppose that I should be able to see "Foreign Trade / Customs" in "Header" menu, but this entry is gray, I cannot enter it.
I tried to create a scheduling agreement using ME31L with the same vendor and material, I can see "Foreign Trade / Customs" information. I suppose these two process are similar, aren't they?
Btw., I checked the master data according to this thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/ed/3b6cc697e711d1b4e20000e82d81b0/content.htm
Can anyone give me some hint?
    Thanks!
    Charlie

    These two processes are different:
The Contract agreement or the Outline Agreement is that create the centrally contract (cross-plant) where it can maintain different pricing conditions for each and every plant. It creates the Release Order with reference to Outline Agreement. No detailed delivery schedule can be made in the Release Order. No Release documentation is created. Only time-dependent conditions can be created, Some Item Category 'M' and 'W' can be used.
Whereas the Scheduling Agreement is the Plant Location what must be entered in the Scheduling Agreement. Its no need to create any other purchasing document except for delivery schedule line via Transaction ME38 or MRP running (with the appropriate setting of Source List). Delivery Schedule line items are created subject to your specific requirement. It can create both Scheduling Agreement with or without release of Documentation (subject to the Document Type LP or LPA) with the selection of either FRC or JIT delivery schedule. Either time-dependent or time-independent conditions can be created subject to the customizing in the Document Type of the Scheduling Agreement. Item Category 'M' and 'W' can not be used.

  • BADI to uncheck Invoice indicator and set net price as 0 while creating PO

    Hi all,
Is there any BADI to uncheck the Invoice indicator and set the net price as "0" while creating Purchase order?
Im creating Purchase order in SRM and for certain vendor and material group net price should be set to zero and invoice receipt to be unchecked so that user wont get invoice receipt.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?
    Thanks,
    Amal

    Pradeep,
    Thanks for your response.
I will tell you the actual senario im having.
Using Shoppin Cart, user will order for some items in SRM and once it was completed PO will be created in R/3 system. Here(R/3) when i check in ME23 for the created PO, the IR flag has been set. But i want the PO should be created as IR flag not checked and amount is changed to ZERO for certain vendor and material group combination.
I searched some threads and found few function modules ( BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAILS, BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE, BBP_PD_PO_SAVE) which can be used in BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI. But im not aware of the fields in which we can found vendor, material group, amount, IR indicator.
Can you please guide me how to resolve this?
This is my first task in SRM and im not aware of all terms in SRM.
    SRM version: 4.0
    R/3 version: ECC 5.0

is it really SD_SALEORDER_CREATE? if yes, which version are you in?
Have you thought about 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA'. Documentation available for this bapi.
If not, just an FYI, REF_DOC field in (BAPISDHD1) -Contract_header_in structure can be used to pass the ref document and check for the type. You will also need to pass the type for this ref_doc.
Assuming you have the configuration in place already.
Search forum for this BAPI to get the sample code.
