Price in Service Plan

Hi ,
How to maintain and Determine the price in Service Plan (Contract dependent).
I have used an item category SPLA,and service plan product. Maintained the price in product conditions tab.
But in Contract line item, there is no Conditions tab and also no Net value is displayed.

Hi,
Please check whether the item category SPLA is having the "Pricing Indicator" - Active or not. As per standard for Service Plan Business category - its Inactive.
Also check for the pricing determination.

  • Extended service plans on Consumer electronics.

    When it comes to insurance, you are basically gambling. Gamblers rarely win as the odds are in the house's favor. Companies like Best Buy, Walmart, etc have done the math and they come out winners more often than not. Obviously they won't gamble unless they are going to make money off it.
    So as the consumer, can you win? Yes, you can. Although more often than not, you wont. I can almost guarantee that if you NEVER bought an insurance plan you would come out much futher ahead than someone who always bought insurance plans. Many times, especially with electronics, you just buy the item again outright and you are ahead of the game. Not too mention the fine print that is on these contracts that is in favor of the big corporations.

    We are looking to get my Mother a Toshiba Encore 2 8" tablet for her birthday. We looked at some Demo units at Sam's club yesterday and discussed pro and cons of each OS option and she really wants to go Windows (Go Mom!). to my surprise Walmart seems to have the best deal at $120 bucks shipped(why am I pay for Prime these days? Oh right, Man in the High Castle is coming.....eventually....)But then I started looking at Extended Service plans: Walmart is still cheaper up front with a 2 year, but Amazon touts a "No Deductible" plan for the same price putting total cost about $20 more than Walmart. However Reviews are very mixed on both and it is really hard to decipher what is "Stupid User Error" and what is a really a problem.Then there is the ultimate question, is it worth it? Does anyone have any input on this topic?

  • Copy of service plan item SPLA in contracts not working

    Hi,
    1. I have created a service plan product SP (item category group SPLA)
    2. I copied the standard trans SC -> ZSC and item category SPLA -> ZSPL
    3. I then maintained the determination as per the standard.
    I have not changed any of the attributes of ZSC and ZSPL from the standard (apart from the name). But when I enter the service plan product SP as a item in ZSP (ZSPL gets determined) but I do not get the planning relevant fields such as scheduling type, scheduling rule, etc... Instead I get tabs at the item level which are for a contract product and not a plan product.
    Can someone pls tell me what could be wrong since there are absolutely no changes being done to the standard and plainly a copy is created.

  • Auto creation of service orders from service plans using action management

    Hi,
    We are using service plan products in service contracts where in serviceorders are created according to the plans for the duration of the contracts according to the defined frequency.
    The processing for the action is set as "Immediate processing" so that the order is created the moment the deadline is reached. The order is created using the method "CREATE_ORDER_SRVPLAN".
    The contract is created and released and with all the line items (including the service plan line items). The schedule condition is such that => all the orders due in a particular month are created on the first of that month. e.g. plan orders for 15.01.2009, 30.01.2009, etc (i.e.,all the orders due in Jan 2008) will be created on the 01st of Jan 2008.
    As per this definition, the relevant actions get scheduled, BUT DO NOT GET EXECUTED. The moment I just go to the edit mode in the document and save (without making any changes) the action gets executed and the service order gets created.
    The requirement is that the moment the deadline is reached the action should get executed and there should be no need to edit the contract since the processing is kept as immediate.
    Please advice further.

    Thanks a lot for the response.
    I did schedule the report and it gets executed as per the schedule. But it does not execute the actions. As a output it just logs "3 actions selected". What I want is that it should actually go ahead and execute these actions and not just select them.
    Kindly advice on the same.

    I have an iTouch now, I'm sell it.
    I want to have external speakers for apps and alarms.
    I do not want iTouch 2nd generation.
    I do not currently need it as a phone, but would like to have it for when I am ready.
    Is it possible to purchase the latest iPhone without any phone plan? When I go through the steps to purchase an iPhone from apple.com it doesn't have a "no plan" option.
    Do other places online / B&M sell iPhones or only apple.com and apple stores? (I do not want a used or refurbished)
    Surely I can still get a hold of an NEW iPhone without a service plan... but where and for how much?

    You can't buy a new iPhone in the US without a plan. Even if you could buy one, it would not work (even as an iPod) until activated with a cell phone provider. You would have to buy a used iPhone that had been activated. Be sure to get a US model (or one for your country if you aren't in the US). Check the part numbers in the right column of

    to make sure it is the correct version for your country.
    An officially unlocked one from one of the countries that sell them would also be OK, but any repair would have to be done in its original country. It would have to have been activated in some country, also.

What can I do to get the phone, that I paid for, work  for more than just a phone, and a paper weigh?

    Wow... you seriously over paid for an iPhone.
    That probably explains why you have/had no clue you were purchasing a locked device and think it's an Apple problem to get it unlocked.

  • Error while creating new app service plan for a webapp

    Greetings !
    I have a new webapp created and I want to move it a separate web app service plan to apply custom domain (Not available on free tier). From the new Portal I try to create new Web App Service plan and get this error.
    "Failed to create App Service plan.
    Failed to create App Service plan <App Service Plan Name>. There was an error processing your request. Please try again in a few moments."
    Even while creation of the web app if I select create new App Service Plan it automatically goes into Free Plan.
    Please help.

    Hello Parvez Alam,
    The issue of not being able to create a new App Service Plan is now fixed. I tried to reproduce this and was able to create the App Service Plan Successfully.
    You should now be able to create the App Service Plan from the New portal. Also, the App Service Plan concept is only availaible in the new portal and not the existing portal.

  • Define a Service Plan in the transaction "solution_manager"

    Dear community,
    has anyone of you an idea how to configure the service plan in the SAP solution manager? I already tried to open the transaction "solution_manager" --> operations --> Delivery of SAP Services --> Service Plan
    There I get the message: "Last service plan update [at SAP]: 00.00.0000 00:00:00; Last solution master data update [at SAP]: 17.04.2007 02:15:27"
    So the data of my solition should be sent to SAP. But when I try to get the service plan from SAP by clicking the button: "Get current service plan from SAP" I only get the error message "There is no new service plan to be collected by S000XXXXXXX from destination SAP-OSS"
    Has onyone an idea what I have got to do, to get the service plan from SAP?

    Hi Michael,
    - Service Plans are defined at SAP (in the SAP internal backend systems).
    - Service Plans are linked at SAP to the Solution Landscape (which you have successfully transferred to SAP, indicated by "Last solution master data update [at SAP]").
    - Service Plans are collected from SAP (triggered by your Solution Manager system). You will see the results.
    Potential reasons, why no service plan can be collected for you:
    - used S-User is not assigned to the Solution Manager installation / customer number
    - no service (for example Technical Integration Check, Solution Management Assessment) is scheduled yor you.
    - your Solution Landscape has not be assigned to the Service Plan at SAP (in this case, contact the SAP Support, which is responsible handling service contracts).

    I have Created a service plan product and maintained a service plan template with an interval of 3months
    In Service Plan to service order action  i am using the Standard method call
    CREATE_ORDER_SRVPLAN in the action profile and Action profile Start Condtion 
    Start of interval equal to todays date . when i am executing the action
    First service order is getting created immediately on the serviceplan Creation date.
    Subsequent service orders are getting generated respectively as per defined frequency .
    So I am getting one extra service order . how to restrict the additional service order creation and
    order creation to happen as per template frequency

  • Copy  Ibase Component from Service Contract to Service Plan

    I  am creating a Service Contract by maintaining the Ibase Component in the Product list at item level
    and I am doing followup transaction service plan and from service plan to service order followup
    But  the Ibase Component is not getting Copied from service Contract to service plan transaction  as well
    as from serivce plan to service order transaction.
    Pls help me in this regard.

    Hi Pavan,
    You can use copy control BADI to achieve this.
    The badi to use is 'CRM_COPY_BADI'.  You need to configure the transaction copy control to trigger this badi.
    Look at methods REFOBJ,  SERVICE_I and SERVICEPLAN_I.
    One of this methids should allow you to do this.

    Hi Experts
                               we are working on service contract with service plan item.we are creating service plans for every three months.At the time of creating service contract with Plan item start of interval is showing creation of contract date.Once i  save the contract start of interval changing to 400+ years(ex-2010 to 2452).Due to this it is creating nearly 1800 service orders insted of four(ex-yrs 442 X 4).we are using standard date profile and standard item category(SPLA) only.what could be the reason for changing start of interval. Please help us on this issue.

    Try using standard service plan order type with std date profile and check if the same problem exists.

  • Service Plan Simulation in CRM 5.0 SR1

    Hello,
    When simulating a contract-based service plan, I am getting the error "CRM_LEASING_COPY103". This is strange as I am not working in LAM. The error text:
    "..You want to determine a pricing process for sales organization  and distribution channel . However, no pricing process has been defined for this combination in Customizing...".
    I searched for OSS notes but without luck. I can't make heads or tails of this, as the scenario I'm working in is purely a service scenario (service contract w/service plan generating planned service orders).

  • Service Request Tempaltes in Service Plan.

    There are two related questions here:
    1. Has Any one used Service Request Temaplates before ? There is no standard available, so I created my own of Template 
        Type: D. Is there a standard template transaction type that should be used ?
    2. After I create some transactions using the Service Request template, I am unable to assign it to the Service Plan Item. the Serivce Plan item only accepts Service Order temaplates and throws an error message if I manually enter the Service Request Template number. the error message reads: "The Transaction ######## does not exist"  (##### --> Request Number).
    Can some one shed light on these issues ?

    is found on your management server (folder where service manager is installed)?

  • Gross price of Service entry Sheet more than the value ordered in PO

    Hi all!!
    I have a PO that were created and changed by the following way:
    The user created the PO of service with the quantity = 1 and the price = 50.000,00
    Than he made the service entry sheet of this PO and MIRO normally.
    As the fields on service tab wasn't blocked, the user changed the quantity to 105.000,00 and the price to 1.
    After that, he made 3 services entry sheet to complete 105.000,00 quantities.
    With this, the value delivered became bigger than the value ordered in the PO.
    if I make a service entry sheet with a quantity of 200.000,00 for example, the message SE363 will be shown to me with a message that the "quantity entered exceeds quantity in purchase order".
    I'd like to know if there's a way by customizing of control the price on Service entry sheet based on the value ordered in PO instead of quantity.
    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks for the response.
    The user made a PO with one line with quantity 1 and net price 50.000,00.
    In the services tab, he put a sevice with quantitiy 1 and gross price 50.000,00, and than made the service sheet entry, and MIRO.
    After this he changed in the services tab the quantity to 105.000,00 and the gross price to 1 (with the objective of making more than one service entry sheet by quantity).
    With this, the system let the user make many entries of service allowing the user to make entries os sheet more than the net price that is in the line of PO.
    I'd like to know if there's a way configure the system to make a compare between the gross price and the net price when i'm doing the service entry sheet, because now when I change a line of service tab, the system is not considering that other service entry sheet were made.
    So that, i'm having the value of ordered bigger than the value delivered.
    Nowadays, the block is made by quantity as I said, but i'd like to block by price too.
    Sorry about the bad explanation before, I hope that now i explained better.
