Print Check-Copy (Non-Negotiable) after every check print

We are implementing Std. R12.0.6 AP Check Printing.
I've designed standard BI Publisher RTF to print the Check and Check-Copy without any issue.
My RTF Template has Check design on first page and Check-Copy (Non-Negotiable) on second page of RTF. Std. Conc. Prog. Payment program FORMAT PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS automaticlly will be printnig the Checks after paying the Vendor, there my RTF is being used for printing through PDF.
Issue is Both Check & Copy are by default getting printed from Tray#3. But the requirement is Check to be selected from Tray#2 and its Check-Copy should be selected from Tray#3.
Note: output PDF is NOT considering the Print setups made in RTF.
My question is:
(1) How can we Print Checks from (Check Stock) Tray#2 and Checks those Copies (which are Non-Negotiable) from
Tray#3

Hi,
Check printing is a different scenario in Oracle, since the concurrent program is launched as a part of the payment process.
If the concurrent program is submitted manually then we could have manipulated it by wrapping in a different program and then calling two different concurrent programs having its output from two different trays, but in check printing scenario we don't have a work around.
By modifying the seeded code you should be able to achieve this: [Non recommended solution]
     1. Create a wrapper program [call seeded check printing program (program 1) then a custom program (program 2), program 2 will print the non negotiable document ]
     2. In the seeded code modify the concurrent program call to your wrapper program call.
NOTE: EVERY TIME WHEN A PATCH IS APPLIED TO AP OR IBY modules, care should be take to reflect the custom change.
Hope it helps, Thanks!

  • Printer icon (queue) in Dock After Every Print.... WHY??

Anyone else experiencing this? After every single print job, on both my MacBook Pro and my iMac, I have to click on my printer icon (print queue box) and QUIT manually. This never happened before my 10.5 Leopard upgrade. Same printer as before, same computers as before. Is this some kind of new setting? Why do I have to see/close the print queue after every single print job sent? This is so time consuming and becoming very annoying. Is this a bug in Leopard or is there a setting that changed after my 10.5 Leopard upgrade???

i was having the same problem, did a quick search in the forums, and found that this is already discussed and solved several times

  • Printer dispenses a blank page after every printing!

Suddenly my printer is dispensing a blank sheet of paper after almost every printing. Oddly, the only thing unusual I've done, relating to the hp printer,  is downloading the HP Printer Assistant and the HP Printer and Scan Doctor! I've checked all relative settings and nothing seems out of the ordinary or different.

    Hi @ibgb
    Another user recently posted what he/she tried to resolve this same issue. Perhaps it might work for you too;
I reset my top and bottom margins and test printed and scanned and it did not put out any blank sheets.  - Source
    If this doesn't resolve the issue, please try the following;
    1. Touch the Windows key on the keyboard to get to the start screen, then without clicking anything type Devices and Printers, and tap or click the Devices and Printers icon.
    2. Right click on the printer icon and click on printer properties.
    3. Then click on Advance Tab, and click on the Separator Page tab.
    4. A small windows open with the location of the file. Delete the path, click ok to save the settings.
    I hope this helps.

See Chapter 11 of Oracle Business Intelligence Server Administration Guide (Version 10.1.3.2 December 2006).
Oracle BI Administrators can configure the Oracle BI Server to maintain a local, disk-based cache of
query result sets (query cache). The query cache allows the Oracle BI Server to satisfy many
subsequent query requests without having to access back-end databases (such as Oracle or DB2).
This reduction in communication costs can dramatically decrease query response time.
As updates occur on the back-end databases, the query cache entries can become stale. Therefore,
Oracle BI Administrators need to periodically remove entries from the query cache using one of the
    following methods:
    ■ Manually. In the Administration Tool, in the Manage menu, select Cache to open the Cache
Manager. Cache Manager provides the maximum flexibility in choosing which cache entries to
purge and when to purge them, but it requires direct human involvement. For more information,
refer to “Using the Cache Manager” on page 255.
    ■ Automatically. In the Administration Tool, you can disable cache for the system, set caching
attributes for a specific physical table, and use Oracle BI event tables to purge cache
automatically. For additional information about managing cache, refer to “Monitoring and
Managing the Cache” on page 234.
    ■ Programatically. The Oracle BI Server provides ODBC-extension functions for purging cache
entries programmatically. These functions give you the choice and the timing flexibility of Cache
Manager with the automation of event tables. You can write your own scripts to call these
functions at times that fit your needs. For more information, refer to “Purging and Maintaining
Cache Using ODBC Procedures” on page 235.

  • Print job stays in queue after it's printed & hangs subsequent jobs

I'm having a very frustrating printer problem under Leopard. A print job will stay in the queue and it's status remains as "printing" even after it's already printed. This happens especially when more than one job is in the print queue. The only way to get the subsequent jobs to print is to delete the hung job & then the other jobs will all print properly. The printer queue also remains active in the dock until all the jobs go through & I physically close the queue. If I send a single print job it will go through properly & the queue will close automagically. Subsequent multiple print jobs will also hang the queue just as described above.
I'm printing to an HP Color LaserJet 2600n connected via USB. I've installed all of the latest HP printer drivers & still no luck. Any ideas?
    Thanks for any assistance.

I too have had this exact same problem with a HP 1022 ever since upgrading to Leopard. It's intermittent but very irritating. HP were no help and I have just learnt to live with it. I have to clear the previous print job and sometimes turn the printer on and off again. I also have a HP K5400 which is a terrific colour ink jet printer. Unfortunately you cannot set the print quality options for Pages and Numbers documents, so I have to save them as pdf's first and then print them. It's fine with MS Office 08 and pretty much all other apps. I think I'm going to give HP printers a miss when I change them - but this may be for many years...

  • 8500 alignment failure after installing new print heads

I replaced the print heads in the 8500 all-in-one wireless and get the alignment failed.  printer will print documents sent to it but follows with an alignment print page.  displays alignment failure alert.always prints alignment test page after every document printed.  Note:  replaced the print heads about two years ago without any problem.    patrick

Hello , I see here you are trying to get the alignment to complete successfully on the Officejet 8500, and I may have some suggestions for you. Seems odd, but the first thing I recommend is cleaning the scanner glass and white backing on the lid. Clean the ADF scanner glass strip, the white ADF plastic strip, the scanner lid, and the scanner glass. Sometimes particle's or debris on the glass can interfere with the alignment process, even on these printers that use the semi-automatic alignment process. Use only glass cleaner to clean the scanner glass. Do not use cleaners that contain abrasives, acetone, benzene, or carbon tetrachloride. These substances can damage the printer. Avoid isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) because it can leave streaks on the glass.  Spray a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with mild glass cleaner - to protect the scanner, do not spray the glass cleaner directly on the glass.  You will want to clean the ADF scanner glass strip, the white ADF plastic strip, the scanner lid, and the scanner glass.  You could check and see if you have missed anything by reviewing or even repeating the steps in this document; Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One Printer Series (A909). As well as the steps listed in An 'Alignment failed' Error Message Displays on the Printer Control Panel. Make a Note: HP recommends that you use genuine HP ink cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP ink cartridges or refilled HP ink cartridges. If you do not use genuine HP ink cartridges, the steps in this post might not resolve the issue you experiencing.  Another thing you could try would be to clean the electrical contacts on the printheads and inside the unit. Follow these steps to clean the electrical contacts on the printhead and inside the product. (Pulled from this document.) CAUTION: Follow these steps carefully to avoid damaging the sensitive electrical components.
Step one: Clean the contacts on the printheadNOTE: The ink nozzles on the printheads might clog if you expose them to air for more than a few minutes. The ink nozzles also might clog if you do not use the product for long periods of time.Make sure that the product is turned on.Open the top cover of the product.Press and hold the OK button for five seconds. The carriage moves to the left side of the product. Release the OK button.CAUTION: Proceed only if the carriage is on the left side of the product. If it is not, the printheads will be damaged when you install them. If the carriage does not move over, try turning the product off and on againWait until the carriage is idle and silent.Unplug the product power cord from the electrical outlet.NOTE: Do not turn the product off by pressing the Power button (). This causes the carriage to move out of reach.Lift the printhead latch.
Figure : Lift the printhead latch
Lift the handle on the printhead that the error message indicates is missing or damaged, and then pull the printhead out of its slot.
Figure : Lift the handle to remove the printheadUse a dry, soft, lint-free cloth to remove any ink from the electrical contacts on the printhead.CAUTION: Wipe only the electrical contacts. Wiping the ink nozzles, located on the underside of the printhead, can damage the printhead. Do not touch the nozzles. Doing so permanently damages the ink nozzles, and the ink stains clothing.Figure : Electrical contacts and ink nozzles
Electrical contactsInk nozzlesWipe the electrical contacts with the swab until no ink residue remains.Wipe the electrical contacts with a fresh cloth to dry them and remove lint. After the electrical contacts on the printhead are clean and dry, place the printhead on a sheet of paper or a paper towel. Make sure that the ink nozzles face up and do not touch the paper.
Step two: Clean the contacts inside the productUse a fresh, dry, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the electrical contacts inside the product.
Figure : Clean the electrical contacts inside the product
Allow at least five minutes for the contacts to dry. Check the contacts for lint or debris, and then dry or clean the contacts again if needed.Step three: Restart the productPlug the product power cord into the electrical outlet.Press the Power button () to turn on the product. 'Printhead missing or damaged, replace the printhead' displays on the control panel.Insert the printhead into its color-coded slot. Press down firmly on the printhead to make sure that the electrical contacts touch.Pull the printhead latch all the way forward, and then press down to engage the latch.NOTE: You might have to press firmly to engage the latch. If the error message indicates that both printheads are missing or damaged, repeat the steps in this procedure to clean the other printhead.Close the top cover of the product. The product restarts and then prints an alignment page.If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists, continue to the next solution. You can review the Limited Warranty for HP Ink Cartridges and Customer-Replaceable Printheads for HP Inkjet Supplies, to find out if your printheads are in warranty. If the issue persists please Contact HP Support for further assistance. Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance.  Please let me know if these steps resolved your issue, or if there is anything else I can do to help.  I look forward to hearing from you!  Thanks,

  • I cannot Print or Copy anything in BLACK, colours work OK. Changed Black cartridge but same result?

After doing all sorts of tests from the HP Web Site I have narrowed my Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer problem down to the inability to print or copy anything in black! It prints and copies anything in colour OK. I have even tried installing a brand new HP Black cartridge, but this gave the same result. Can anyone offer me any solutions, please?

    Hello,
I see that we are having some issue when attempting to print in colour.
I have done some research in to this issue and I have found a document that deals with when the Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages.
Please feel free to write me back if you have any other questions or concerns.

I'm not sure what this means. How is Reader or Acrobat printing from applications? Could you give us some more details as to what you are doing and how you are doing it? Also, do you have all those applications installed on the same machine or is it happening on multiple computers?

  • After downloading music and dragging into iTunes I end up with multiple copies of the album on my hard drive. I do have the "copy files into iTunes library" checked. When I try to erase one of the copies I end up with red ! in iTunes library.

Please Help!  After downloading an album and dragging it into itunes I end up having multiple copies of the album on my hard drive.  I do have (under Itunes preferences, advanced) copy songs into itunes library "checked".  I'm sure this is the reason for the multiple copies.  When I try to delete one of the copies of the album and go back to itunes and try playing a song, I get a red exclamtion point next to the song with an error message saying itunes cannot locate file. My questions are, Does Itunes literally make a copy of the song? If so , How do you know which file to delete?

Sony's own entertainment software on the Vaio plays merry **** with iTunes, worse there's no telling when it will kick in.
First head over to the Sony Vaio site and get the update for the software, that will stop it from messing with the iTunes database/library files when you connect your iPod.

Acrobat on OSX does not use printer preset. Every single time I have to print I have to click printer and then print to load the preset and then click print again from the main dialog. I am printing to a Xerox that has the copier code in the preset so if I don't do this it will not print. This has been broken for in every version I have tried. This extra clicks are taking years off my life. Did I remember to do the extra clicks? I don't know, I guess I will run down the hall and check. Please fix this.

What operating system are you running? I assume they had you install the latest BIOS. True? If it were mine, I would suggest forcing it to use integrated graphics (in the BIOS) to rule out a problem with the NVidia driver.

  • How to create check in batch automatically after automatic payment program

    Hello
SAP Experts i am getting a  issue
how to create check in batch automatically after automatic payment program ( t code is f110)
    Thanks & Regards
    Narendra.G

    Hi Narendra,
Please note the process below for cheque Printing:-
    1. The pre requisite for Cheque printing is you have used program RFFOUS_c/or the Z version of this program in FBZP and that you have maintained the form name in the field Form name for Payment medium in FBZP.
    2. You have a pre printed stationary on which you want to print and the Program & the form has been modified to print as per this.
    3. In F110, you must have assigned the Variant name, which would specify the cheque lot no. and this should exactly match with the current cheque no. in the pre printed stationary.
    4. Now, after all this setting, when you run Payment run in F110, then also only the Payment documents are posted but the cheque no.s are not updated in the Payment document no. nor the PAYR table is updated. It is only when you run the Print out tab, that a spool is created in SP01 for cheque printing as per the Payment documents.
    5. Then in SP01, you can print the spool on your pre printed stationary.
This is the complete process of printing cheques from F110. Hope this helps..
