Print Share with HP 5610 All in one series Printer

I have an HP 5610 printer connected to a pc. I'm trying to use print share so I can print using my macbook. How do I do this?

You will need a CUPS driver (not the HP-provided one) to print via Windows Printing. Find the CUPS driver info here:

Then download and install from here:
http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/macosx
(hpijs is a 3 part download)

Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html and ensure you have the latest printer drivers loaded. Also, HP will often post the steps to enable the wireless functions when setting up the AIO functions.

Reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Print & Scan
- Right (or control) click in the rectangle listing your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - this will delete ALL of your printers!
- Select the plus sign to re-add a printer. Select the Defualt tab on the top of the window. Look for the printer, select it and wait until the "Add" button becomes available. Click it."

I understand you are inquiring if you have the proper software CD for your printer. Yes you do. A printer much like a car has a series that contains a base model and a few others. By adding different features and options to the base model it will create a different model number under that original series. The base driver will be the same for all the printers, but each model will have certain extras. Also different store chains will be assigned a different model number in that series depending on the promotions that are offered at that particular chain.

5610 All in One Not printing after changing both cartridges

I just changed both the color and the black cartridges on my Officejet 5610 Aii-in-one and now it won't print anything. I did the cartridge alighment and it completed it successfully as far as I can tell.

There are several ways you can accomplish this you can use E-print for instructions on how to do this; GO HERE
You can also use this GO HERE Airprint for this one the device (IPAD, IPOD, IPhone) and your printer have to be in the same network Same router. For a detailed explination what is the difference on this apps reffer to this article

HP Psc 1410 all in one series Printing pink

Operating system - Microsoft windows Vista 32 bit
Ive installed the driver and the software but when i print colour the colour is pink. When I print in black and white it prints fine jsut colour is all pink.

Connecting HP C4100 all in one series printer

I purchase two mac notebooks for my kids and I am having trouble getting the printer to work. I installed the proper disk driver for Mac computers still nothing. What prints out is this: %!PS-Adobe-3.0

Printing problem with HP F380 All-in One printer.

My HP F380 All-in One has stopped printing in colour. Don't know if I've accidentally changed a setting but I've unchecked 'Print in grayscale' and no difference. Can anyone please advise.

I understand that your HP F380 has stopped printing in color, and I am happy to help you with this printing issue!
For further assistance, I will need to know the following:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is able to make copies by itself.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
In the meantime, please take a look through this guide. Streaks or Lines in the Printed Image.

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One not printing true colours

The HP help people have finally given up on trying to make my Mac see the Color Options tab in their print software with my set-up. They now say, "It's an Apple problem". If I could see these settings I'd be able to adjust the HP defaults for print-outs (by saturation, brightness, density, hue, contrast, etc) once and for all so I'd get closer to what I see on screen printed out in front of me. Without them I have to change everything on a trial and error basis each time in Photoshop. I've read about it in the HP manual and seen it work on another (cheaper) HP printer on a similar Intel iMac but with the All-in-One I just get the screen saying "No User Selectable Settings" - which HP say should not be the case. Anyone have any ideas? This screen seems to be vital - unless of course there's a better way of synchronising the perfect image I see on screen with what I get out of this printer?

I have seen this case with hp printers on the intel macs as went the intel macs came out hp's driver release was set for June as that is when the intel macs were suppose to be released i know the new software version 7.9 which is universal fixes all of these issues on the intel based macs.
Just make sure you run the hp uninstaller first HD/Applications/Hewlett Packard

Problems printing envelopes with HP 4480 all in one

I purchased the HP 4480 all in one because I was told it would do the job(we hold a reunion each year and write to over 110 people. However I have had nothing but trouble (30 envelopes wasted already) it jams-jams-jams) sometimes at the back and sometimes at the front lots of messy hands!! Have now started to write the envelopes which defeats the whole idea of speed. Can any one help or shall I bin the printer not a year old yet.

I've had the very same issues with printing envelopes. I'm using standard #10 envelopes, so it should not be an issue. I have a new 4480 printer coming today to replace the one I have, but I am not encouraged about what will happen since I see at least another person has had the same issue.....we"ll see what happens...

Wireless printing problem with HP Envy all-in-one 110 when running Mac OS 10.7

I just bought the HP Envy all-in-one 110. I have a Macbook Air running IS 10.7. I managed to install the software correctly and the wirless network light is showing on the printer. I ran a test page from the printer and all the settings say they are "enabled." But I still can't get the printer to print over the wireless network. When I plugged in a USB cable, I managed to get it to print. I have a wireless router running over the Sonic.net DSL network. Network strength is good. I've switched off and restarted all equipment several times but still no results. Help!

I believe the router may not support Multicasting, a network protocol used for Apple's Bonjour service to operate as it should.
Will be helpful to know the exact router brand and model.
As a workaroung, you may try setting the printer by using standard IP, it should allow you to print, however the router issue (more likely) have to be handled first to allow the full software functionality including scanning.
Follow the steps below to set an IP print queue, it will also help to better understand the cause for the problem:
Enter System Preferences > Print & Scan.
Click the plus sign.
Click the IP icon.
Select the HP Jetdirect Socket protocol.
Enter the printer IP address into the Address field
Now try printing using the newly created print queue, listed as the printer IP address.
