Print the job from the spool in abtch mode

I want to be able to print a job from the spool in batch mode. In other words a job currently exists that creates a report that currently goes to a printer.
The user wants the report to print on two different printers. This extra printer cannot be placed in the job, since SAP only allows one printer per output. What I would like is to find a SAP program that would accept a spool name and a printer destination. It necessary we can write a program that might execute a SAP function to do the same.
SP01, the spool transaction, does not easily adapt itself to batch execution. I donu2019t want to create a bdc session using it.

if the job fails is there a possibility to resume the job from the same position where it has failed
is there any standard functionality in SAP to acheive this and if not give me guidelines to achieve this

Hi,
It is not possible to resume the job again from the place where it failed.
By looking at the job log, because of some error message, exception etc.. the job got failed, So by having the break points at the same place, schedule a new job make to released status, now by selecting the released job, by using the command JDBG, you can start the debug from the specific point.
But remember one thing, If the program is taking too much time to reach the specific point in foreground, you are helpless!!!!!

export the execution command for both the jobs from the web admin batch job history page
this will export the job launch command to a .bat or .sh file depending on OS to %LINK_DIR%/log directory
you can call these jobs in another script in sequence
or if you are looking for lanuching Job2 only if Job1 is successful, then in the Job1 you can add a script at the end and call the script (to which the execution command is exported) for Job2 by using the exec function

Print a job from both the trays in a printer

I am developing an application in JDK 1.4 to use the new printing APIs. Our requirement is to print a job from a printer using both the upper tray as well as the lower tray. This is because the application prints pages alternatively in both Legal and Letter format. Is it possible to accomplish this task?

I think you are going to need to use the java.awt.print.Book class. This class allows you to specify a different page format for each page in the document to be printed. In the PageFormat you return for each page, you can specify the orientation, paper, etc. However, I haven't done what you are specifically asking about so I can't give you details beyond my educated guesses. :)

Currently there is no option to delete print jobs from the "View Job History" section of ePrintCenter.

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I see that you're unable to use ePrint or enable webservices with your HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to help. Have you tried the basic ePrint/webservices setup method as recommended by HP? If not, give that a shot first. If this is not new to you please read on, I have some more suggestions that might enable this feature for you. I recommend you set a Manual DNS on your printer. Here's how: Click on the HP ENVY 7640 icon on your PC desktop (note that I've used screenshots for a different printer, but the steps are essentially identical) to access the HP Printer Assistant. Click on the Embedded Web Server link (EWS) and then click on the network tab as indicated below: Next, click Wireless and then IPV4 Configuration as indicated below: Next, click on Manual DNS Server and input the numbers exactly as indicated below, clicking on Apply to complete this aspect of your setup: For the next step, you can use the EWS 'Webservices' tab to enable webservices/ePrint or enable from the printer's front panel by touching the icon. Touch OK to allow this feature to activate and also to allow for automatic printer updates. If you were able to complete the above-noted steps without issue, you will be ready to send your printer ePrint jobs. For more information on how to setup a custom ePrint address click here. Deleteing report jobs from the queue

OAS 9.0.2.0.0 on Win2K-sp4, Client Win2K-sp4.
Many's the time a report job will hang up in the queue preventing other jobs from printing. Using the OEM, I can usually delete all the jobs, except the one that is "active, the one that is hanging up the queue. It always gives me an authentication error. I have tried every login/pw combo I can think of without success. I am always forced to restart OC4J_BI_Forms to dump the queue. Any suggestions?

What I have done is create a new reports server/queue from the command line. It runs as a Windows process and can be restarted from there. Clunky, but I don't have to kill Forms everytime there's a queue hang up.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are receiving a prompt that your printer is offline. This may be due to a printing job that is currently in the queue. Are you able to see the print summary when following these steps?:
Viewing the Print Summary
You can view the Print Summary by double-tapping the Home button and swiping to the right to reveal Printer Center. Then tap Print Center.
Note: Print Center is available only while printing is in progress.

How to find out the user from the Jobs queue in Report server

Hello All!
I have a doubt about finding out the user from the scheduled jobs queue. Say I go ahead and schedule a report on Reports Server how can I find out the user name. When I view the jobs using showjobs I could see that the DBMS_JOBS table has a column under "Job Owner". But it invariantly shows it is "rwuser". So is there a way to find out which user has scheduled which job?

How can i print my calender from the ipad with a windows laptop?

you can try to take a snap shot of the screen. to do this open your calendar, hold down the home key and quickly press & release the power button, release the home button the same as the power button..... if you do it right the screen will flash and you will hear a camera shutter sound. the snap shot will then show up in your pictures under the camera roll section. at that point you can print it to a wifi printer, or just email it you and print it out from your computer..... i don't know if there is any other way to "print" the calendar.

My Mac won't print a pdf from the web

My iMac will not print any pdf from the web. The printer (an ho Photosmart plus) will only print a blank shet of paper.

Try saving the file then, then open Preview and open the file and try printing again. If if the quality is still bad then it's the file itself.

Message- Print No pages from the document were selected to be printed

I have had this application for some time, simply never used it. Last night I tried converting a PDF file to word, unsuccessfully, I might add.
Today, whilst printing a page, my printing settings appear to have been reset because when I selected Print selected page, the following message appeared:

How do I reconfigure my settings to preview rather than defaulting to PDF? Kindly advise. Cheers.

I have only been able to print by exporting from iphoto. I have a new HP printer and there is software that supports photo printing ("HP photo smart") and I have been able to do it this way. On some occasions I have been able to use the iphoto>print>then preview before actually printing. There is a print option on the preview pane and that has worked on occasion...unsure why it doesn't work always. Please pass on any other hints, or let me know if this works for you!!

Why won't compressor let me submitt the job after sending the job from Final Cut?

Having problems with compressor. Does not let me submitt my job. I sent the job from Final Cut to Compressor. I set up destination, settings. When I hit th submitt button it's grayed out. Can anybody help. I'm running compressor 3.5.3. And Final Cut Pro 7.0.3.
