Printing only 10 lines in the Report

Hi,
I have a unique requirement , need to customize the Existing cheque print report in that ,if there are 20 invoice lines related to cheque,i should only print first 10 lines in the output and in 11 th line display message as remaining lines are Not printed.and others lines should not be printed.
Can the requirement of not printing all the lines from 11th line be done using xml coding.

MM Drill down on any line on the report ME2N the line defaults to item 10

We have recently upgraded to ECC 6.0 EHP5 .
When you drill down in ME2N on any line on the report, it takes you to the tab of line item 10 and not on the line
where drill down was initiated .

was this different in your older release?
If you are sure it was, then you should open a call at SAP directly and ask for a fix.
I am on EHP4 and I get as well to the first item in a PO, whatever item I click in ME2N.
But I cannot remember that this was different in any release in the past.

On Page 1 of the report, I only want to print a summary of provider then the total of each procedure type performed at the clinic.
Here's a sample of the result that I'm looking for:
    Dr. One
     Office visit, new         = 15
     Office Visit, established = 10
     New wellness care         = 18

     Office visit, new         = 5
     Office Visit, established = 18
     New wellness care         = 20
    Dr. Three
     Office visit, new         = 15

**The 2nd part of this report I was able to get the desired result, but I thought it would be helpful to share this informationl.
The subsequent pages is grouped by provider, visit date, patient name, date of birth,
and procedure description. Then subtotal by provider.
Here's a sample result

Copy the date parameters to the sub-report. In the sub-report criteria use the local parameters to select the date field data. In the sub-report linking link the main report parameter field(s) to the sub-report parameter fields (not the ?PM-?<parametername> default links).   You may need to also link the data in the sub-report by the Dr. field.

Installed a new printer and one line on the top is skipped

Appreciate your inputs.
We have been using the 'Check Printing report' for quite a while; We recently installed a new printer and we see that the alignment has gone wrong.
The checks are printing from one line below as it is skipping one line. Where do we adjust the setting so that the printing starts from the place where we want?

Im no expert but I doubt its a template issue more likely to be the control escape sequence on the printer diriver set up. Check your printer manual and the current set up you have.

hi experts,
i am facing a problem while printing a list through alv.
requirement is, suppose i have 3 line items under one document no.
i have to print only one record with total amount of all items.more clearly...

1001 30   540/- these records in internal table then i am passing it to reuse_alv_grid_display.
i need to display only 1001 1774/-(means sum of all the items)

My unusual (?) printer issue -- Prints only partial lines when printing in black (part 2)

I have been using my HP Officejet J4680 with my Win7 PC for several years and relatively problem-free -- until about six months ago.
My printing issue might be rather odd. So odd, in fact, I’m not sure how to succinctly describe it. I’m not too techie, but I will try….
This printer will print some lines correctly, other lines print only partially, and some lines don’t print at all.
This oddity happens ONLY when I print in black. When changing the color of the text to any other color other than black the page does print correctly.
Further, this issue seems to occur ONLY when printing certain things/files/formats. For example, material from most websites will print correctly. As will most .PDF files. Printing files such as .txt, .doc, .wps, etc., seem to be the most problematic.
Fixes I have tried include:
Uninstalled and reinstalled printer
Run HP’s diagnostic tools (including checking for any driver updates)
Installed several new black ink cartridges
Cleaned and re-aligned printer head
Lastly, the “copy” feature continues to produce good results. These problematic symptoms seem to occur only while using the “print” function.
Short of relegating this printer to the trash, I’ve tried everything I can think of. Help/ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Shift Lines on the report

Hi,
I have one requirement and I want to do it in a simpler way as my core is not ABAP.
I have report which is done. I want to write a action on "AT LINE-SELECTION" and when I select a line, it should display something, like another small report. This will have around 3-6 lines.
It is easy to display it on the next screen as it is done automatically when the even is triggered.
I want to do it on the same screen by just shifting the lines below.
So If dbl-click a line it should shift the lines to below and make space for this new report. This way it will displayed on the same page. My base report is huge that is why I am looking for simpler way.
Is it possible? Please help me if possible.

just as Rob and I have said: you've no chance.
If you want to add a new part in the same screen (so list) in the event AT LINE-SELECTION: you need to write all again.
Just as Rob has written, that doesn't mean you need to repeat all report, but the part for the output only.
Sometimes the report is arranged in several parts, one for extraction of data and one for the output:
START-OF-SELECTION.
PERFORM GET_DATA.
PERFORM WRITE_DATA.
AT LINE-SELECTION.
SY-LSIND = SY-LSIND - 1.
PERFORM WRITE_DATA.
PERFORM WRITE_NEW_DATA.
I don't know how you report was developed, but if you can't do it, you can only write the new data in a new list (so screen)

Invalid path? What are you doing? Writing the report output to an invalid directory?
Where are your terms and conditions? It would be very easy just to put them in a database table and select them in your report query.

Why does my printer only use 25% of the page and shrink to fit?

when i print certain things it only uses 25% of the page. It is so small i can't read it. If i go to print preview and modify the size, it puts it on multiple pages. I can't figure out how to change any settings.

Firefox extracts the paper size information from your Windows printer settings, so that's the first thing to check. In the print dialog, if you click the Properties button and review the dialog for your printer, do you have a small paper size selected and can you update it?
If Windows is correct and Firefox is mistaken, you can reset the stored paper size using the about:config preferences editor.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box that appears above the list, type or paste '''paper''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Look for your printer's paper-related settings and then right-click and choose Reset for each (e.g., size, height, width, etc.).
If you return to your document and try Print Preview, does Firefox compute the correct size?

HP L7590 Printer only scans portions of the page

I have an HP Office Jet Pro L7590 Printer. Just today, the scanning feature starting acting up. When it scans it only scans a portion of the page. It goes through all the motions as though it is scanning everything. I also need to send a FAX. Two questions: 1) Any idea as to what may be going on? (I have powered it and the computer down, unplugged, and powered it up already.); 2) would this interfere with the FAX (i.e. are my FAX recipients getting a partial page too?)

Displays only 500 rows on the Reports

Hello All,
We recently upgraded from 10g to 11.1.1.6.0 and I am running in to a issue with one of the report. When I run a report, it displays only 500 rows of data but not all the records. Could someone let me knoe which field should we change in the instanceconfig file to resolve this issue

Using Acrobat 9 and suddenly there is no selected page range in the print box. Only selected PDF files or all PDF files. Am I doing something wrong? I need to print only three pages from the document

Well, I looked for where to delete this but didn't see it.
NEVERMIND; I forced iPhoto to quit and restarted and everything seems fine.
BTW, I did get one thing wrong. When I looked at both iPhoto libraries with FINDER, the active one and the archived one both showed content as far as file size goes.
It was because I was viewing the files through Adobe Bridge that it was showing 0 GB's; for whatever reason.

Problem with printing only 1 copy from the console on an HP photosmart 7760.

When printing 4X6 borderless copies from a memory stick at the console the first picture correctly prints 1 copy but subsequent pictures show they are printing 1 of 2 copies. No matter how I set the number of copies this problem persists.
I have tried to set the number of copies directly and also to the default setting. Neither works after the first picture.
Any suggestions?

I read about the printer issue you're having with it randomly printing out pages.
I am really unsure of what could be causing the problem for sure, however, I have an idea that it could be related to the alignment of the unit itself. The steps I have are below and I'd suggest giving them a try to see if it helps!

I hope that helps! You can also try power resetting the printer and ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
