Problem ACS reader ACR128 and card JCOP 3.1

Hi I have problem with ACS ACR 128U reader and card with JCOP3x JCOP4x.
When I load applet throud ICC or SAM interface eclipse write ERROR.
When I use Reader Omnikey CardMAn 5321 or PICC interface all is OK.

the problem is the reader/firmware/driver
my advice: don't use an ACR128 or an ACR122.
These readers are bad, we only have problems with them here.
use an omnikey or a SDI (sdi010 is my friend)

Problems Installing Reader X and FlashPlayer on Mac running 10.7.3

Attempted to install both Reader X and Flashplayer on two new Macs, both running 10.7.3. Downloads went without a problem. Unfortunately, installations begin but never complete. No error messages are posted, the installer simply never completes. No antivirus SW installed. Was able to download Reader 9.

Grab the install.log file for Acrobat located at "/var/log/install.log".
Paste the contents in the forum.
I'm guessing but you probably have a perms issue somewhere interfering with the installation.

Problem with Reader download and McAfee

I am the administrator of a small charity with a number of very naive users. They need to be able to read PDFs and so must have a PDF reader. I can tell them the link to download the Adobe Reader but unless they untick the McAfee box they will install McAfee. Most of them will then be thrown in unrecoverable confusion. It's no great help if I warn them that they need to untick the McAfee box - many will forget. And uninstalling McAfee will be way beyond many of them.
Is there a link I can give them which will enable them to download the Reader without getting McAfee by default?
I could find an alternative non-Adobe reader and give them the link to that, but there is a further complication that we have got some more competent users who need to edit and return the PDFs I send them. Is there an alternative product which would enable them to do that?
I don't want to have to provide two links, one for naive users to a non-Adobe reader and the other for more competent users to the Adobe Reader with a warning about unticking McAfee.

I followed the link suggested by Pat and requested the right to distribute the Reader as the Administrator of the charity. The email granting the right gave me a link to a window from which I was able to download the Installer for the Reader, an executable file, without having to untick McAfee. That is what I would like our members to be able to do, but it seems to me that the only person allowed to use this link is me as the Administrator - I don’t think I can pass it on to the members.
I think that instead I am expected to pass the installer executable file to the members. The email says I would do that, for example, as a download bundled in with the Distributer’s installer. We don’t have anything like that. I assume that in principle I could attach the file to an email and send it to the members, but it is far too large for an email attachment. Other means of getting it to the members, such as a private Dropbox, would get too complicated for our least technically able members.
I can’t find any way to email Adobe Support about this, so hope that pat or other people in this group might have some ideas.

Problem - acs command authorization and web access control

Hi, I'm trying to add the control of some aironet 1310 bridges with a ACS 3.2 (tacacs+). I wanted to be able to do telnet command authorization restrictions trough shell command authorization sets and be able to give similar restrictive web access at the same time. I have it working if I permit some commands that are sent by the browser as "write memory quiet" and few other ones, but for it to work, I must give them limited users the privilege level 15 and by having the tacacs server authorizing the commands, it work for both, http and telnet. Where my problem begin is when I loose the connection with the ACS server, the user being already authenticated as level 15 user, the device become open to all commands; there is no more restriction applied by the ACS. Do anybody now a workaround.

It is already at local, that is just that the user already have a level 15 access and I used to control the commands through level settings before. So when I try it, my user that is localy level 5 is already recognized as a level 15 user from when it was authenticated through the ACS. If I could find a way to give web access to the 1310 at priv level 5 and still controlling the command set, it would be ok but as soon as I try to access a page that is not permitted other way than by the view level (i think it's level 1... or 0), I get a username password prompt with that line on the top of it:"level_15_or_view_access" and the only way I can access it is by entering a level 15 un/pass. I attached my 1310 aaa config
and here are the command set that work at level 15 to do a "shut" or "no shut" of the radio interface by the web interface:

Problems about reading Japanese and writing Chinese

Hi all experts,
Now I have a encoding problem.
My task is, read some Japanese in a text-based file, and then replace that Japanese with a Chinese string.
That means, the program must be able to understand both the Japanese encoding and the Chinese encoidng. But the dilemma is that, in the OS I am using (Windows), you can only have one locale at a time. If you set your OS locale to Chinese, the program is able to write Chinese, but it cannot properly detect the Japanese. On the othe hand, if you set your OS locale to Japanese, the program is able to detect Japanese, but it cannot properly write Chinese.
So can any one help me get around this problem (for instance, there is some special API dealing with encodings and so on)?

InputStreamReader and OutputStreamWriter constructors both accept parameters to specify the encoding of the data stream.
The New IO (NIO) classes have these and additional capabilities, including converting from one encoding to another using code like this:

Problem to read/write and Analyse/Regenerate Signal

i would like to do a complex platform. i have a RF signal, i would like to save it in a binary File (like TDMS file) and after that, i would like to regenerate it, but i have a problem with that.

You can use the Arbitrary Waveform Generation Mode, in order to generate custom data with your RF signal generator.
You will find an example doing this with a simple file : LabVIEW » Help » Example Finder and look for RFSG Write Signal From File.vi
This will help you do what you want. You will have to retrieve the data from your TDMS file like it is done in the example with binary files.

1) When I select VTWEG 'MZ' everything is working without anyproblem...
2) When I select VTWEG 'AU' I can see only one RECORD.. where as their are around 41,000 records.. in this Selection..
Normally with this prog the ZKNVH table should be filled with the specified fields..
Only if the VTWEG is AU the Hier05 and Hier04 is Blank and others are filled with data.. bcoz in the Customer Hierarchy of AU has only 4 levels...
and if VTWEG is MZ all the fields should be filled with data as the Customer Hierarchy of Mz has 6 levels..
Please check the prog and suggest me how I can Fill append the table ZKNVH with data when I select AU..

Problem with Reader X and Fillable Forms

I made the mistake of upgrading to Adobe Reader X yesterday. Now the main software that I use in my financial planning business (Winfund) is unable to generate fillable forms. No error messages; just the screen becomes black and the progress marker at the bottom says "done". I'm running Internet Explorer 8 on a Windows XP machine. Luckily, my laptop still has Reader 8 on it, so I can operate from that machine. Is there anywhere on the web where I can download Reader 8 or 9?

In classical debug mode from CALL STACK tab try to find out the structures holding the screen values .
Capture the values from transaction using FIELD SYMBOLS .
See the below code.

Online banking statement and credit card statements will not display in FF 4.0 on either Win 7 or XP. Falling back to 3.6 fixes problem on both computers and sites.

After upgrading to FF 4.0 I am not able to access or display my bank statements or credit card statements. I have a laptop running Win 7 and a desktop running Win XP and have same problem on both. Statements are in Adobe PDF. Upgraded Adobe to vers. 10 at banks suggestion but did not help. I have now fallen back to FF 3.6 on both PC's, and it now works on both PC's, one running Adobe Reader 9 and the other running Adobe 10.
Additionally, my email provider (bbwi.net) "Squirrel Mail" times out and logs me off every 15 minutes or so in FF 4.0, even when I am actively composing mail. Falling back to FF 3.6 also fixed this problem

2nd, you already mentioned Virtual XP, so if a direct install doesn't work, that would be the way to go... or, to just do what SHOULD work from the start, just do Virtual XP

Select Sync Music under the Music tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes to transfer this music and any other music in your iTunes library and select Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes selecting the folder where these photos are located followed by a sync.

Resolution
If you encounter either of the above symptoms on your iPhone, follow these steps to attempt to resolve the issue. Test after each step.
1. Toggle airplane mode: Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn off airplane mode.
2. Turn iPhone off and then on again.
3. Remove the SIM card and verify that it's a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it isn't damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
4. Check for a carrier-settings update. Connect to a Wi-Fi network. Then tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, iOS will ask you if you want to install it. If Wi-Fi isn't available, connect your device to iTunes.
5. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
6. Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
7. Restore the iPhone.

Iphoto 11 is not recognizing jpeg files downloaded from camera and card reader. Nor will it allow me to transfer from image capture

iphoto 11 is not recognizing jpeg files from either the camera and card reader. Canon Eos rebel dig. Nor will it allow me to transfer images from image capture to iphoto. No problem downloading to image capture.

Sounds like a damaged card. Get your photos off the card with Image Capture and then reformat the card in the camera. Take some pictures and see if the card is recognized by iPhoto and the card reader.

Latest problem - can't import using card-reader

In Bridge>File>Get Photos from Camera.....
App recognises there is card reader and card and amount of photos and then when asked to "get Photos", I get this message:-
"Adobe Bridge CS3 cannot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged, and try again."
What does this mean? - I am using a card reader, there are no batteries! There is never any problem when I import using Capture One Pro or iPhoto or LightRoom or Aperture with this method, so why now?
Any thoughts?

First check if you have the latest version for Bridge CS3 (it should be 2.1.1.9)
Then restart Bridge holding down option key to refresh the preferences. Then set the preferences again to your wishes and try again.
You should prefer a card reader for downloading images instead of directly from the camera. there are several threads with the reason why this is a better method.
Photodownloader can do this job, don't forget to explore the advanced settings :-)
