Problem configuring

Hi,
          I have two questions regarding domain configuration in silent mode, and I hope to get answers from someone here!
          1. I need to configure a UnixMachine.
          What I want:
          config.xml should look like this -
          <UnixMachine Name="fooHost">
          <NodeManager Name="fooMgr" ListenAddress="fooHost" ListenPort="3333"/>
          </UnixMachine>
          What I am doing:
          My silent mode script domain_wls.txt looks like this -
          create UnixMachine "fooHost" as f;
          set f.Name "fooMgr";
          set f.ListenAddress "fooHost";
          set f.ListenPort "3333";
          What I'm gettting as result:
          config.xml is lookijg like this -
          <UnixMachine Name="fooHost">
          <NodeManager Name="fooHost" ListenAddress="fooHost" ListenPort="3333"/>
          </UnixMachine>
          The weird thing is that using f.Name changes both "UnixMachine" name the "NodeManager" child element's name, where as it should be changing the Name attribute of "UnixMachine" object only. Using f.NodeManager.Name also behaves in the same way - changes both names.
          2. The "write domain to" command fails in the following silent script on my Solaris box. The same script works well on XP (I have modified the paths according to the OS). Anyone here knows why?
          read template from
          "~/bea/weblogic81/common/templates/domains/wls.jar";
          find Server "myserver" as s1;
          set s1.Name "adminServer";
          set s1.ListenAddress "fooHost";
          set s1.ListenPort "6666";
          set s1.SSL.Enabled "true";
          set s1.SSL.ListenPort "6667";
          set JavaHome "~/bea/jdk142_08";
          find User "weblogic" as u1;
          set u1.password "password";
          set OverwriteDomain "true";
          write domain to "~/bea/user_projects/domains/fooDomain";
          close template;
          Thanks in advance!

  • Problems configuring HP Laserjet M1213nf MFP with Mac via AirPrint

    Hello,
    I have a HP Laserjet M1213nf MFP printer, connected to a Dlink DSL-2730U ADSL router. I am having problems configuring the printer with my Macbook running OSX Yosemite. I can see the printers name in nearby printers but when I try to add the printer, the mac gives me an error saying, "unable to communicate with the printer at this time". The network settings on the printer are configure for iPv4 and iPv6 addresses.
    Previously, I had the ADSL DSL-2750U model router, and the printer was connected fine. I did not face any issues then. I have been facing problems since I changed my router so the problem should be in the router. I have the IP for the printer reserved in the DHCP reservation list on the router settings using the mac address of the printer.
    Can someone please help me out here? Is there something I am probably missing.
    Rgds
    ~n~

    I talked to the DLink Support. They asked me to disable an option called "MultiAP Isolation" and Voila, the printer is working fine. I can add it to all my devices on the wireless network. I looked up google. Apparently, this isolation feature present in some routers, prevent wifi clients to interact with other devices connected to the wired network and also with each other. Thats why only my desktop which was also connected wired was only able to access the printer and not the laptops connected wirelessly.
    Problem solved. Thanks for all your help on this one.
    Cheers!

  • Problems configuring Platform Domain with MS Sql Server

    Hi,
    We are having problems configuring a Platform Domain with MS Sql Server 2000.
    We are using Weblogic version 7.0.0.2. These are the steps we followed
    1.We manually created a database called TestDB and created a user account called
    "system", pwd ==>> "weblogic" in SQL server and assigned him as the DB owner for
    the TestDB created.
    2. Changed dbsettings_properties files (Commented pointbase entries and uncommented
    SQL Server entries. I gave the connection parameter as connection=jdbc:weblogic:mssqlserver4:localhost:1433
    in this file.
    3. Modified Config.xml and changed properties for DataSyncPool, WLIPool, CommercePool,WLIPool
    and modified the RDBMS realm properties to point to the database.
    4. ran the create_db script and it seemed to have run fine looking at the log
    file.
    5. I then tried to start the BEA Server instance and I get the following error.
    I am also attaching the config.xml file for reference.
    Appreciate any help/suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

  • Problem configuring Username token profile on ALSB

    Hi All !!
    First of all, thanks for your support!!
    I'm facing a problem configuring an active intermediary Proxy service with username token profile. This proxy service has a security policy referencing Auth.xml file to implement Username token profile. That proxy calls a business service which calls a web service.
    On test page, username and password is requested (already created in the security domain), then an error is returned "Unable to add security token for identity".
    Below you can find the Invocation Trace:

  • Problem configuring RVS4000 router

    I just purchase the Cisco Router RVS4000 vpn and I am having problem configuring the VPN option.  I just try all way I could imaging, but somehow something are missing and I don't know what it is.  Here are a image of my current configuration.

    Without examining this in detail, it is only half of the equation.  The other end of the tunnel needs to be configured as well.  BTW, don't ever post your WAN IP and shared key in a public forum.  Change the key.

  • DIAdem 9.1; Windows2000; right problem; "Configuration-Drive Write Protected" for USER

    Hallo community !
    similar to these threads
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=60&message.id=322&requireLogin=False
    http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=60&message.id=647&requireLogin=False
    i run into problems working with DIAdem 9.1 on Windows 2000 SP4!
    The Diadem installation went quite well.
    My problem:
    only "Administrator" and "Power User" have the privilige to "WRITE" to the DIAdem install directory.
    Trying to start Diadem as non priviliged USER I get something like:
    DIAdem Configuration-Drive "C:\PROGRAM FILES\ NATIONAL INSTRUMENT\DIADEM 9.10" WRITE PROTECTED!
    I installed & started DIAdem for one
    time with Administrator rights. I activated the Product and exported
    the KEY to a License Server. Everything works fine for Power Users an
    Administrators. Only "simple" USERs are not able to start Diadem due to
    missing WRITE permissions.  i can't grand this permissions to
    normal USERs :-(
    Playing around in Registry -> "RegWriteAccessAllow" ("0","1") (DWORD) (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/National Instruments/Diadem/9.10),
    didn't solved the problem.
    I switched back to "local License" Managment (local Key files) but the Probelm persists.
    thanks in advance
    P.S.
    Quote: "You have to be at least a "Power User" in Windows 2000 to run DIAdem in Windows 2000."

    is this right ?
    Message Edited by DirkT on 08-01-2005 03:58 PM
    Message Edited by DirkT on 08-01-2005 04:02 PM

    Hi DirkT,
    Running DIAdem with User rights has different aspects we need to look at.
    1) Registry Write Access
    Launching DIAdem the first time with administrative rights registers some OLE components in the registry. After this step no more Admin rights are necessary for the registry. However running DIAdem as user might result in error messages as DIAdem tries to re-register the components again. You can avoid this by setting the RegWriteAccessAllow Key to 0 (see online help under "Administrator Notes")
    2) File / Folder Write Access to the DIAdem Installation Folder
    DIAdem needs write access to certain files e.g. the error logfile DEM_ERRS.001 or DESKTOP.DDD when saving configurations. You may change the folder where these file are being stored and searched for to a writeable folder by launching DIAdem with the "/d<NewFolder\MyDesktop.ddd>" start parameter or by setting the environment variable "DemDDD" to that folder. Then move the following files from the DIAdem installation folder to your new writeable folder:
    *.ddd
    userpar.par
    dem_errs.*
    3) File / Folder Write Access to other Folders
    There are a number of other folders that DIAdem 9.x needs write access to and which cannot be changed. All of these folders are located by default under "%ProgramFiles%\National Instruments\Shared". Currently you need your Admin to give you write access to that folder and below
    For future versions of DIAdem the team is working to make running under user rights easier.
    Hope that helps,
    Marcus

  • Mail Server: problem configuring dovecot with postifx and virtualhosts

    Hi all,
    I'm am struggling trying to configure a mail server. I have a dedicated server running archlinux.
    I want to setup a complete mail server, ie: web access (for that I installed roundcube) and being able to retrieve mails on any e-mail client.
    I followed this guide, from the documentation but I've read that courier-imap is a lot more resources hungry than dovecot. As I could not have it working using the documentation, I tought I would use dovecot. The problem is that I am not able to configure it.
    What I already have up and running: web server (nginx) with postfixadmin and roundcubemail, postfix, mysql.
    Now, I want to be able to send and receive mails using dovecot. Could you guide me a little in order to replace courier-imap with dovecot, starting from this documentation? I already have my databases configured, a vmail user, ssl certificates and postifx configured for virtualhosts. Seems that the only thing missing is imap + smts thrue TLS.
    Thanks for any help.

    The dovecot configuration files are very well commented with documentation and examples in /etc/dovecot/
    As for TLS and SMTP Auth, this is the relevant part of my main.cf for postfix:
    # TLS Settings
    smtpd_use_tls = yes
    smtpd_tls_key_file = /etc/postfix/wildcard.example.com.key
    smtpd_tls_cert_file = /etc/postfix/wildcard.example.com.crt

  • [SOLVED] Problem configuring DisplayLink monitor (udlfb...)

    SOLVED:
    It seems that my monitor shows no green screen when it is ready. Instead it shows the last image rendered. In my case it was this color stripes.
    Also, I upgraded to kernel 3.2.1-2, and using the include module udlfb and xf86-video-fbdev from the official repositories I made it work.
    I'm struggling to configure a Green House DisplayLink monitor to work with a netbook with an eGalaxTouchscreen. It seems I have problems with udlfb and the DisplayLink driver.
    Following this artilce in the wiki, I installed udlfb and xf86-video-fbdev-for-displaylink from the AUR.
    Loading the module with
    # modprobe udlfb fb_defio=1
    does not give any problem:
    dmesg
    [ 509.963703] usbcore: registered new interface driver udlfb
    Plugging the monitor after loading the driver gives the following output:
    dmesg
    [ 637.363419] usb 1-1: new high speed USB device number 6 using ehci_hcd
    [ 637.470050] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -32
    [ 637.701889] udlfb: DisplayLink GH-USD16K - serial #USD16K3310398
    [ 637.701899] udlfb: vid_17e9&pid_016b&rev_0196 driver's dlfb_data struct at f377b800
    [ 637.701905] udlfb: console enable=0
    [ 637.701909] udlfb: fb_defio enable=1
    [ 637.702124] udlfb: vendor descriptor length:17 data:17 5f 01 0015 05 00 01 03 00 04
    [ 637.702132] udlfb: DL chip limited to 1500000 pixel modes
    [ 637.702251] udlfb: allocated 4 65024 byte urbs
    [ 637.785022] udlfb: 1366x768 valid mode
    [ 637.785034] udlfb: Reallocating framebuffer. Addresses will change!
    [ 637.788011] udlfb: 1366x768 valid mode
    [ 637.788019] udlfb: set_par mode 1366x768
    [ 637.793145] udlfb: DisplayLink USB device /dev/fb1 attached. 1366x768 resolution. Using 4104K framebuffer memory
    But there is no visible change, the screen remains black. Nevertheless, there is a new entry /dev/fb1 as advertised. I followed the steps of the article but I didn't suceed. As I understand, the green screen assures you that udlfb is properly loaded and that the monitor is ready to use.
    It seems that it is sadly not my case. Another strange thing is that if I load udlfb, then unload it and load it back again the monitor diplays green, blue, red and yellow stripes. But not the green screen.
    I attach my xorg configuration, just in case.
    /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf

    I use my DisplayLink monitor with a netbook. The best I can get at the moment is to use the DL monitor as my primary monitor in a []single monitor setup[]. This means that my netbook's monitor is not used at all (although in my case it is not vital, I would like it to work for watching videos or writing LaTeX code in the smaller screen with a big font size and read the preview in the bigger one).
    This is the Xorg file I use:
    /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf
    # DisplayLink Monitor
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "DisplayLink"
    Driver "fbdev"
    BusID "USB"
    Option "fbdev" "/dev/fb1"
    EndSection
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Secondary Monitor"
    EndSection
    Section "Screen"
    Identifier "External Screen"
    Device "DisplayLink"
    Monitor "Secondary Monitor"
    DefaultDepth 16
    SubSection "Display"
    Depth 16
    Modes "1366x768"
    # Virtual 4096 4096
    EndSubSection
    EndSection
    # eGalax Touchscreen
    Section "Device"
    Identifier "Integrated Graphics Controller"
    Driver "intel"
    EndSection
    Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Primary Monitor"
    EndSection
    Section "Screen"
    Identifier "Internal Screen"
    Device "Integrated Graphics Controller"
    Monitor "Primary Monitor"
    DefaultDepth 16
    SubSection "Display"
    Depth 16
    Modes "1366x768"
    Virtual 2732 768
    EndSubSection
    EndSection
    # Dual Monitor configuration
    Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier "Dual Head Setup"
    # Screen "Internal Screen"
    # Screen "External Screen" RightOf "Internal Screen"
    Screen "External Screen"
    # Screen "Internal Screen" LeftOf "External Screen"
    # Screen "Internal Screen" LeftOf "External Screen"
    # Option "Xinerama" "on"
    # Option "Clone" "off"
    EndSection
    I use xf86-input-fbdev for the DL monitor.
    This has one major drawback: I've found no way to make this work dynamically, so I need to move/rename or edit this file whenever I want to change my setup (twice a day in my case). It is not absolutely unbearable but it is an unsatisfactory solution nevertheless.
    Also, if I understood correctly, this seems to be a limitation of the current drivers (which include no 3D accel., so no GNOME shell for example). If you find a better way to do it (specially to detect the other monitor dynamically) please let me know.
    PS: Sorry for the late response, I was on vacation.

  • Problems configuring router after hard reset

    I'll start with my 'vitals' ---
    * WRK54G Wireless Router
    * Cable internet
    * Desktop computer is wired to the router
    * Roku media player - wireless connection (will play my mp3s off of the computer or listen to internet radio stations)
    * Tivo wirelessly connected
    This morning, I tried to play some music off of my computer on the Roku media player. It would not communicate with the computer, but it would find the internet stations. After some trial and error, I tried to make the Tivo connect and it also failed to find the computer. The computer itself also could not find the internet, but the Roku was streaming music from the 'net fine. I exhausted my limited networking knowledge and decided it was time to bite the bullet and do a full restart on the router.
    I turned off the computer and the router. The modem has a battery backup so I reset it and while it was booting back up, I plugged the computer into the modem. Once the computer started, the internet was up on the computer and felt encouraged. I found and ran the install disk that came with the router and followed it step by step. After getting a few more errors, I got the setup program to find the internet through the router and I could proceed to the next step. When I got to setting my time zone, an error came up that the modem could not be configured and I should hold the reset button again for 10 seconds. I felt discouraged again. I reset it, and nothing. Tried again nothing. It will not get through the guided set up, but the internet is apparently working.
    I thought I would just get into the web-based set up page. I can log in with the default password and get to all of the screens, but whenever I try to save changes (whether I made any or not) the password box comes back up and the default password (or any password I tried to change it to) will make it go away.
    So basically, my problems are: 1) the guided setup will not finish 2) the web-based setup will not let me make any changes because it does not recognize any password.
    Thanks for any help in advance...
    Chris
    PS -- after I post this, I am going to reset the computer again and unplug the internet from the router just to see if I can get the web-based setup to work. I'll post the results, one way or another.

    I, and others in this forum, have had problems saving Linksys router settings too.  I logged into my router fine, but couldn't save the settings without a password screen coming up.  No password is accepted.  I contacted Linksys Help and received no solution.  I looked on this forum and saw mentioned that the problem may be with Norton Internet Security (NIS).  One person said they just temporarily disabled NIS and then they were able to save their router settings before reenabling NIS again.  I tried that, ended up turning off every setting in my NIS, rebooting with them off, etc, but it didn't help with the ability to save my router settings.  I have NIS 2007 and the NIS Add-On pack (needed because for some reason Norton took away features from previous versions and after people complained they made them available again with the add-on pack).  I planned to remove all of NIS (after I made notes of my modifications), and started by removing the NIS Add-On pack first.  After a reboot I tried to save my router settings and it worked!  Phew.  I got them all set and tested, then I installed the NIS Add-On pack again and all is well.  When I saw people had made comments on this forum about this problem for 8 months at least I was disappointed that Linksys Help hadn't already been aware of the problem and able to give the solution.

  • Problem configuring SOA suite to use OID for authentication

    We are in the process of rebuilding our environment to use the full SOA suite with our OID server for authentication (was previously just BPEL using AD directly), and have encountered several problems (below). We have rebuilt the OID server, and reinstalled the SOA suite into a clean ORACLE_HOME to no avail.
    We first rebuilt the OID server using the following steps (derived from Oracle® Internet Directory Administrator's Guide):
    1)     Create the Import and Export profiles for AD synchronization. We did this using the Directory Integration and Provisioning Server Administration tool under “Active Directory Configuration”
    2)     Modify the map file to specify the correct OU mappings between AD and OID.
    3)     Update the profile with the new map file using “dipassistant.bat mp”
    4)     Bootstrap the import profile using “dipassistant.bat bootstrap”
    5)     Start a new instance of the Integration server (odisrv) running on config set 1 (the config set containing the Active Directory import/export profiles) using “oidctl”
    6)     Set the Import profile to Enable. The OID server does not export changes to AD in our current configuration, so the Export profile is left on disable (and not bootstrapped)
    At this point it appears that the AD synchronizes correctly into our new OID server.
    Next we installed the SOA suite:
    1)     We ran “irca.bat” on our database server to create the ORABPEL, ORAESB, and ORAWSM schemas and associated integration repository structure.
    2)     After launching the SOA suite installer, we selected Advanced Install.
    3)     On the next screen, we selected J2EE Server, Web Server, and SOA Suite.
    4)     We then provided the credentials for our Oracle database, and the passwords for ORABPEL, ORAESB, and ORAWSM.
    5)     We configured our new AS instance as an administration instance, but did not opt to use from a separate HTTP server, and did not make this instance part of an OAS cluster topology.
    And finally, we configured our new SOA suite instance to use OID for authentication (using the instructions in Oracle® BPEL Process Manager Administrator's Guide section 2.1.3):
    1)     Used the configure_oid.bat command to seed OID with required users only.
    2)     Logged into the OracleAS Control Console
    3)     Chose the oc4j_soa instance, then Administration->Security->Identity Management
    4)     Configured the OID server using a non-ssl connection and the cn=orcladmin account.
    5)     When prompted, chose to reconfigure all applications in the oc4j_soa instance to OID, but not to use SSO for any of them.
    6)     Copied the contents of ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\home\config\jazn.xml to ORACLE_HOME\j2ee\oc4j_soa\config\jazn.xml
    7)     Restarted the application server.
    After this procedure, we encountered the following issues:
    1)     The BPEL console appears to authenticate users correctly out of OID, but no users have access to the default domain, including bpeladmin and oc4jadmin. All users receive a similar access denied message when attempting to log into the BPEL Admin Console.
    2)     We cannot upload a BPEL process to our new server via JDeveloper’s standard BPEL deployment mechanisms. The connection appears to be working properly and passes all tests, but on uploading a process we get a Java AccessDeniedException. ESB appears to be functioning properly, and accepts uploaded projects without issue.

    Bassman,
    We recently configured our SOA Suite to use OID and SSO. We had the same issues you are having, and we found the resolutions in a blog from Jaas Poot (http://blog.jpoot.com/category/oracle-appserver/oid-ldap/). For the BPEL domain access, this involved going to the data-sources.xml file and changing the database passwords from using ->pwForOrabpel for the orabpel schema and ->pwForOraesb for the oraesb schema to the real passwords; the blog explains more about this.
    The blog also covers the JDeveloper deployment issue, and another issue we encountered, where we couldn't access the BPEL Admin console. All of these were resolved following the steps in the blog.
    Hope this helps
    Candace

  • Problem configuring JTA with Spring in OC4J

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to develop an application that uses Spring with JTA in OC4J standalone.
    I've already read http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/spring/how-to-jta-spring.html and the only difference to my configuration is that I'm not employing annotation-driven transaction definitions.
    All seems to be ok but during the deployment of the application I have the following error:
    07/10/11 17:07:03 WARNING: DeployerRunnable.run Error creating bean with name 'txAdvice': Cannot resolve reference to bean 'txManager' while setting bean property 'transactionManager'; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'txManager' defined in ServletContext resource [WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is org.springframework.transaction.TransactionSystemException: Could not initialize OC4JJtaTransactionManager because OC4J API classes are not available; nested exception is oracle.classloader.util.AnnotatedClassNotFoundException:

    This load was initiated at global.libraries:1.0 using the loadClass() method.
    The missing class is available from the following locations:
    1. Code-Source: /home/jkliff/apps/oc4j-10.1.3.2/j2ee/home/lib/oc4j-internal.jar (from <code-source> in META-INF/boot.xml in /home/jkliff/apps/oc4j-10.1.3.2/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar)
    This code-source is available in loader oc4j:10.1.3.
    Any ideas?

    Hi timo,
    I'm using OC4J - StandAlone runnig a application for wikis manageiment that uses servelt and have the system authenticate using JASS. I belive that the problem is about using JASS on OC4J.
    The code that the error shows is that:
    HttpServletRequest req = context.getHttpRequest();
    if( req != null && req.getSession() != null )
    HttpSession session = req.getSession();
    try
    String s;
    if( (s = (String)session.getAttribute( varName )) != null )
    return s;
    if( (s = context.getHttpParameter( varName )) != null )
    return s;
    catch( ClassCastException e ) {}
    for me it seem a problem when the application is trying to get a session, the OC4J block with a problem with authentication.
    I thank your help!

  • Problem configuring CAF / GP on NWDI

    Hi expert,
    I am newbie in using CAF and JDI. Currently I required to configure CAF / GP on NWDI and I have followed the steps recommended in "Installation Cookbook - Configure CAF / FP on NWDI 7.00".
    I have also download the archives as listed below and imported them successfully to CMS:
    SAPJTECHS.sca
    SAPBUILDT.sca
    SAPJEE.sca
    BIUDI.sca
    BIMMR.sca
    SAPEU.sca
    CAF.sca
    CAFKM.sca
    However, as I try to import them to the Development System, the browser response with the status "Import failed" . I look at the log files, and saw something like this:

    can advise?
    Thank you.

    Hi
    I have looked through the System SIC -> monitor, I released that there is appropriate version of SCA in the server. Does that explain the following error message ?
    Info:==> sources will not be imported for this SC
    Info:Step Repository-import ended with result 'not needed' at 2007-06-12 15:16:17.0406 +8:00
    Even with that components, I have skipped the following steps
    9) import the checked in archives into the Development system (which is unsuccessful)
    10) import the checked in archives into the consolidated system
    11) configure runtime systems in the track
    12) import the development configuration
    And I proceed to the steps Chandan has advised:
    4. Now go to the NWDS and set the URL of server in Development Configuration perspective as per the doc.
    5. Now Login through user id and password from NWDS.
    6. select your track and import it.
    In NWDS, I went on to locate my component in the tracks and want to create local Web Dynpro DC with the dependencies set. So I right click and select Create New DC... and sync it as Web Dynpro.
    Then I encounter the following error:
    Development Component Creation completed with some problems.
    Reason:
    some used DCs are not available locally,
    you have to sync used DCs for this project.
    I decided to sync the DCs by right click on the Used DCs folder and select Add Used DC...
    From there I went on to select sap.com_SAP_JTECHS. As I expand the tree for this, there isn't any component for me to sync.
    I cannot proceed if there is missing components and the components:
    webdynproruntime_designtime_coupling_api.jar
    webdynproruntime_designtime_coupling.jar
    webdynproruntime_designtime_repository_pmr.jar
    webdynproruntime_designtime_repository.jar
    webdynproruntime_services.jar
    webdynpromodel_dynamicrfc.jar
    webdynpromodelimlp.jar
    webdynproprogmodel.jar etc
    I realise that they are from SAPJTECHS which already in the NW.
    Can help?
    Thanks

  • Problem configuring Desktop PC as RT target

    Hi all,
    Following the steps in help I have used a hub to connect a desktop PC and another desktop PC as RT target on a standalone network.
    In MAX the RT target PC shows up as 0.0.0.0.
    But the problem is that when I choose to manually configure the IP address, and press apply settings, the target reboots but it remains unconfigured.
    name : unspecified.

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Shradha,
    Good news! We have definitely found the problem.
    The solution depends on whether you would  like to use your real-time target computer with Windows XP, or whether you would like to convert it permanently to run LabVIEW Real-Time only.
    1)  If you want to convert your target PC to run LabVIEW Real-Time only, then create a Desktop PC Format Hard Drive Disk in Measurement and Automation Explorer, and follow the prompts to format your drive to FAT32 and replace the boot sector (this way you will not need to use a boot disk each time).
    2)  If you want to still use your target PC for Windows XP but just boot into LabVIEW Real-Time once in a while, I would recommend using a utility like Easeus Partition Manager or Partition Magic to repartition your hard drive (make the NTFS partition smaller and create a FAT32 partition alongside it). Make sure that the FAT32 partition that you create is primary. After you do these things you should be able to use your current LabVIEW Real-Time boot disk, and the new FAT32 partition will automatically be used.
    Ultimately, once you have a FAT32 partition your IP address settings will be able to be saved, which means that you should not see the problem that you are running into now. Have a great day Shradha!

    I had actually gone through the note before and tried out a couple of tips that were suggested in the note. I am still having the issue and believe that it might be due to the fact that I do not have a Credentials file installed.
    I am applying for the credential and will see what happens.
    thanks,
    Saif

    Hi,
    We have faced a similar problem earlier, one of the developers changed the property to 0. Luckily for us, one of the user id has got Content Administrator as the first tab, so we could change the iview template and got the TLN. Check this option.
    The following is a theoritical idea only, i have not implemented this
    Download "com.sap.portal.navigation.toplevel.par.bak" and change the code. Check out this link
    https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/fd515a2aa95277e10000000a1553f7/content.htm
    You have to change the code as
    levels=2;
    before this line
    if(levels>0)
    { %>
    Take a backup of the existing TLN par and upload the edited one with the same name. Then try login and see whether you are able to get the contents, update the property back to 2.
    Note : try to upload the necessary jar files in NWDS.
