Problem deploying project with External Resource Integration with jars

Hi,
Please help ur how we can deploy a project in Enterprise server if that is integrated to some application which needs weblogic.jar. If this jar is made vesionable then it shows a size problem. If that jar is added to Install Drivers (In the configuration screen of Server) it does not accept it and does not show error while deployment. But, the activity which is using that application is failed while execution.
Kindly provide me help over this.
Regards,
Sarang

What do you mean with a "size" problem? I've added weblogic.jar to the project (or any jar of that size) and it works fine. As rightcord mentioned, you can just put it in the classpath, but if you don't want to, you can still use it in your process.
You just have to deploy in another way, meaning you don't have to use the exported project but you can upload it the lcoation of where the server is running and publish from there - I believe this is option 1 in the Process Administrator.
Good luck!

  • Windows Explorer Plug-In Set-Up for BeehiveOnline with External Resources

    I have watched the video on the Window Explorer Plug-In and trying to set-up so that multiple individuals can easily access files that are uploaded and make changes by checking in and out. Problem is that I do not see the Beehive Sites when I open the Oracle Beehive Extensions for Explorer. Do the Beehive Online sites with external resources use a different server name? I am logging in using the stbeehive.oracle.com Server.

    Hi.
    Yes, BeehiveOnline is a completely separate system so you will have to set up the account on BeehiveOnline as well as stbeehive. The limitations of the Microsoft approach is that the OBEE required one connection at a time so you will have to disconnect and reconnect to see the other server. OBEE gives you more control than normal WebDAV access but it has its limitations. If you use the Desktop Integration Server or a webDAv setup you can have both servers visible in the Explorer window and drag and drop easily between them .

  • Deployment of enterprise app with external resources (binary file)

    Hi. Where do I configure/add external resources (such as a text or binary file) in an enterprise app so that they will also be deployed to a WebSphere Express server? Should they be added to the enterprise app at all, or should they simply be moved up to a server directory? (I am trying to avoid a hardcoded file path in my servlet.)
    I could use a properties file, but I was wondering if there is something in one of the deployment descriptor settings that would help me out?
    I need one of my servlets to stream in this external binary file after the enterprise app has been deployed to a WebSphere Express server.
    Thank you.

    Normally, the context of the bin directory or the WASHOME will be the startup directory for the server. If you use File IO without a path it will pick it up from this directory. so u can place the file in this directory so that ur Servlet can stream the file.

  • Asking the TRM for Tasks with external Resources

    Hi everbody,
    I have a question regarding to TRM.
    I have set up a TRM with manual Resources.
    Now I want to add external automatic Resources.
    If I know it right, I have to program it by myself, but  I don't know exactly how.
    To add an external Resource I can use "LTIF_RSRCE_EXTERNAL_LOGON " to accept a Task I can use "LTSK_TASK_ACCEPT "
    and to get a Task "LTSK_TASK_ACCEPT".
    But the Problem is, that I have to ask the whole time, isn't it  possible that the TRM tells me "Hey, I have a Task for you" ?
    If I have to ask the TRM  "Do you have a Task for me", I have to do this in infinite loops, right?
    This could be a performance problem if I have a lot of automatic Resources.
    Does anyone has something like a tutorial for me?
    Best regards

  • Way of External Database Integration with UCCX

    Hi
    I want to know what are the way of UCCX integration with External Database(Mobile Operator, Banking, Insurance).I only know about DBwrite and DBGet. is there any way out(http, https,SOAP)? They dont want to give me direct access to there Databases.
    Sultan Al Arif

    One way to do this would be to use the Get URL Document step to request an XML file from a web server.
    Upon receiving this request the web server would then retrieve the required data via SQL (fairly easy to do using ASP.NET and  IIS), format it in an XML page and return it to your script.
    The script would then use Get XML Document Data steps to parse the XML file for the required data.
    The organisations that operate the databases with which you want to integrate may have some concerns about the security of this though as the data will not be encrypted in transit.

  • External Tool Integration with the xMII Workbench 12.x

    Is there any form of external tool integration, or API that supports building one (think something like a Eclipse plugin) ?
    The editor for non-transaction based work (such as HTML, XSLT, etc.) should be considered unacceptable by all serious developers. Crashes, memory-leaks, lack of syntax-highlighting, etc.
    While I'm aware that I can obviously code in another editor, and then copy&paste the code over every time I want to test something, this is a approach that's not only stupid and time-consuming, it's also very error phrone, and often causing loss of data.
    A integration to Eclipse, either by a specialized API, or version-control integration with NDWI (if that even works, seems that nobody use it?), would make development much much less painful, and more efficient.
    Even if this is completely impossible now, let this be a suggestion to the developers for much needed improvements, if this tool is to be taken serious by modern day developers. External version-control support is also a really big lack in the product. A home-made centralized VCS is hillariously inefficient. If the system had been build on standard-solutions such as SVN, atleast a Mercurial bridge could been done.

    Hi,
    Like to add few points here :
    1) NWDI is available for source control and version management since MII 12.1 release. It is the standard and stable component across all NW Java solutions and can be easily configured and used with MII with no hassle (my own experience). You can refer the following configuration guides for NWDI setup and use:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f0d998ba-2076-2d10-b3be-90909838e4d2?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true

    2) NWDS integration is not available in 12.2 release which is already at the end of ramp-up. I have heard from my friends in SAP MII product development that NWDS will be the de-facto editor for all SAP MII development in the future releases. The first phase of integration may come up in the immediate next release (12.3 or 13.0) which will get 100% completed in the release after that. I'll appreciate if anyone from the product development team can confirm this.
    3) Definitely the web editor in MII workbench currently is pathetic for serious web developers and not anything more than a notepad. I remember in the Lighthammer (11.0/11.5) days there was a MS Frontpage plugin available for MII. I think that's not available or usable anymore. But with NWDS integration I hope this will be looked into as well.
    4) WSDL interface of BLS though present from Lighthammer itself it was not matured and error-prone earlier. Since MII 12.1.4 it has been improved somewhat and now works fairly well.
    My two cents
    Thanks,

  • Problems opening project if I 'log on' with new id

    Someone told me that my problem may be fixed if I logged on as a new user. I assume because they thought the problem might go away if I did so. But now when I'm logged on as a new user, I can't open the project. I get the forever beach ball???
    Maybe I'm just not waiting long enough, but it seems to be crashing my system.
    Any advice??
    Bryce

    The log in as a different user manuever is intended to determine if the FCP application itself , not any particular project, is at issue. This manuever involves only logging in as a different user and then starting FCP. If you get an un named project and normal start-up, that tells you at least that FCP is working OK. In turn that informs you that the preferences used as the "real" user may be the problem. If the project you are working on is not available to the "different" user and the different user tries to open it,an assignment that has to be made in advance of the switch, you could get a beachball and learn very little. You would have to make all components of the project(everything) available to the different user to try to start the project.
    But the search for problems within projects are not revealed in this manuever.

  • Problem while configuring OSB External Resource in BPM Studio

    Hi
    I have just started using the BPM Studio 10.1.3. I want to invoke my Oracle Service Bus proxy services from one of the activities in the BPM Process flow.
    I created an external resource of type Oracle Service Bus and while trying to catalogue the OSB Component I found that only my WSDL Web Service proxy services with http transport protocol are available to be catalogued. I couldnt find the proxy services of the type Messaging Service, Any SOAP Service, Any XML Service created on Oracle Service Bus.
    Am I missing anything in the configuration or is it that BPM Studio does not support these protocols(jms,mq etc).
    Also, in the Studio Reference there is a mention of Oracle BPM(native) transport that BPM supports for cataloguing OSB Components apart from http and https.
    What is this protocol and how and where can i configure the same to help me catalogue the other OSB proxies?

  • Problem: Deploy a SSO Third Party Integration Adapter in Portal

    A user want to deploy a SSO third party integration adapter (Novell Access Gateway) in Portal (AS v10.1.2.0.2). And used method in Note 430877.1. They can login through Novell Access Gateway and login Portal, but when click search user button, there always show a blank IE. And no error log. How to resolve? Thanks.

    Hello,
    I have found out that in SAP Portal it must be possible to create a new system from a par-file which is uploaded to portal before.
    I have such a par-file. It is deployed and uploaded to the portal server. And the application which is contained by this PAR is running in SAP Portal.  But when I go to
    System Administration --> System Configuration --> Portal Content --> right mouse click to folder --> new System from par
    then this PAR can not find there.
    I have also tried to upload this PAR manually to portal. But the result is the same. This PAR does not exist in the radiobutton-options to create a new System.
    Please can anybody tell me how to create a system (or a system-template) from an uploaded PAR-file?

  • Problem Creating Partner Link for Adapter Integrating with Tuxedo using JCA

    Hi All,
    This is the first time that I am working on integration tools. I will explain in brief the problem.
    There will be a legacy system (Tuxedo) running which connect to legacy database for requests. I am able to connect to that legacy system using Attunity Studio for getting the response back. Which is working fine.
    Now I want that to integrate with BPEL PM 10.1.2 using JCA. For this I followed this URL (http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4j/904/how_to/oc4j-jca-tux/onjava-jca.html). What happens here is, a simple servlet invokes a Session Bean that interacts the Attunity Server using the JCA. For that I am using oc4j container of BPEL PM 10.1.2. I could able to work it fine.
    For working with BPEL, I have created synchronous process, when try to create Partner link using Adapter service from WSIL browser, it is not coming in.
    Am I missed any important configuration at BPEL PM end.
    For doing this a followed the "tutorial 2" @ http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/adapters/dev_support.html
    In exact way, above provided tutorial 2 PDF, I failed at step "Configuring a BPEL Service to invoke the above Adapter Service" on page 11.
    Your help is highly appreciated
    Thanks
    Venkata

    Something to note. I tried adding the same BPEL services as partner links to a new application and new project on two other developer's workstations, and the creation of the partner links were successful.

  • Sporadic problems deploying projects on Build Path within Eclipse

    Hi
    We're using OEPE 1.8.0 with Weblogic 10.3.2 to run our projects within Eclipse and are deploying to the local server using the "Exploded archive" option (we cant get "virtual application" to work with EJB's).
    The entire codebase is using Maven, so we run m2e (the latest Indigo version 10.0.100) and the projects are imported using the "Existing Maven Projects" option.
    We're experiencing 2 distinct and very sporadic problems, which has haunted us through, well, as far as I can remember, ever since we started using OEPE:
    1) Sometimes when say an EJB depends on a project, OEPE deploys the root of the dependent module (i.e. the source) instead of compiled code - resulting in ClassNotFoundExceptions. The only remedy has been to evict the said dependent project from Eclipse and let the m2e point to the repository version instead.
    2) This happens less, but happens non the less: Sometimes, again with EJBs, OEPE just omits a dependent project, without it reporting anything wrong with the module ("Module status" in the Error log states that the dependent module is known, but never packs it).
    (We're deploying the EJB's in EAR's)
    The above problems only happens when the projects are in Eclipse (not when referred to from the Maven repository). There are no errors packing the projects in any logs.
    I would expect this to be a problem within the packager producing the "Exploded Archive" and maybe in conjunction with m2e. I havent done extensive testing without m2e (we had the problem way before Indigo as well, when m2e was m2eclipse).
    These are the only gripes we have with OEPE in relation to running our applications during development, but we're spending hours resolving these issues when they occur, as we havent found any sound explanation for the problem (it's trial and error until the problem goes away).
    Anyone else having the above problems?
    Regards
    Erik Reuter

    I answered my own question -
    I had to manually add the following to the WEB-INF/lib to get the error to go away:
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/modules/javax.jsf_1.1.0.0_1-2.jar and
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jsf_1.2.9/glassfish.jsf_1.0.0.0_1-2-15.jar and
    ${ORACLE_HOME}/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jsf_1.2.9/glassfish.jstl_1.2.0.1.jar
    that solved my problem. However, I think it'd be great if I could somehow just specify (in the weblogic-application.xml maybe?) that my application is using the above modules without having to copy the jar files into my WEB-INF/lib - any suggestions?
    Thanks

  • Issue with SIEBEL - XI Integration with SOAP

    Hi,
    I have an issue with the integration of SIEBEL and XI via SOAP.
    In the scenario Siebel calls a synch Web Service on XI. The provided WSDL was implemented on Siebel and when Siebel calls the Web Service the message is received correctly by the XI SOAP Sender Adapter and I can see the message in the Message Monitoring (SXMB_MONI).
    The issue is during the mapping as the payload does not seem to comply with the structure XI expects in the message interface. When I load the payload of the SOAP Request send by Siebel into the Message Mapping Test Tool, all fields below the Message Type are in red. I found out that the problem lies in the way the namespace is addressed.
    The payload I receive from Siebel that is not working in the mapping looks like this:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <MT_KUNDE_CRM xmlns="http://www.xyz.de/ariva/Kunden" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

      <Target_Market>Other Markets</Target_Market>
      <Currency>DEM</Currency>
      <Inactive_Account>N</Inactive_Account>
      <Country />
      <Account_Name>ATK Test Company 1</Account_Name>
      </Account>
    - <Account_Address>
      <Country>England</Country>
      </Account_Address>
      </KUNDE>
      </MT_KUNDE_CRM>
    The structure that works looks like this:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <kun:MT_KUNDE_CRM xmlns:kun="http://www.xyz.de/ariva/Kunden" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    - <KUNDE>
    - <Account>
      <CRM_Account_ID>1-S3YU</CRM_Account_ID>
      <Customer_Segment>Other Account</Customer_Segment>
      <Target_Market>Other Markets</Target_Market>
      <Currency>DEM</Currency>
      <Inactive_Account>N</Inactive_Account>
      <Country />
      <Account_Name>ATK Test Company 1</Account_Name>
      </Account>
    - <Account_Address>
      <Country>England</Country>
      </Account_Address>
      </KUNDE>
      </kun:MT_KUNDE_CRM>
    The ony difference between the two is that the second messages uses a prefix (kun) for the namespace while the first does not use it, although it is correct from an XML syntax perspective.
    Can anybody help?
    Thanks in advance.
    Alex

    Hi
    Why don't you try and create a schema (XSD) which will prefix kun to the input, instead of using the message type created by XI.
    Just a suggestion.

  • OIM-OID provisionning issue with external plug in with AD

    Hi OIM/OID Guru's,
    We are using OIM with OID connector and having external authentication plug-in feature of OID with AD. Here we are using OID for user profile storage and doing password validation by using external plugin through AD however we have been
    facing one issue which is mentioned below :-
    Whenever we are creating any user in through OIM and found that user is provisioned to the OID target source but populating wrong value of attribute orclSourceObjectDN in OID process form:-
    orclSourceObjectDN = cn=OIDTEST3,CN=Users,DC=oracle-test,DC=oracle,DC=com
    correct value should be orclSourceObjectDN =cn=OIDTEST3,CN=Users,DC=oracle,DC=com
    we don't have any container in OID with DC=oracle-test however not sure how the process form is picking up this value?
    However could you please put more light why it is appending wrong DN in OIM process form? Where should i check for this from OIM side?

  • Access Databases LMS 4.2 with jython script ( Integration with HP uCMDB )

    Questions / Integration Adapter Cisco Prime.
    There is an integration adapter for HP uCMDB to get CI information from Cisco Works (Prime whatever ….).
    We set up a user for CW according to “Open Database Schema Support in Cisco Prime LAN Management Solution 4.2” , page 1ff.
    According to this document we created a user lmsdatafeed. If we run this integration from HP uCMDB / DDM we can connect to rmeng database using jmx to port 43455, but we have not sufficient privileges to get all the needed information.
    We tried to connect with a user that has full rights (Admin User), but we cannot connect at all with this user.
    We use Cisco Prime LMS 4.2 and we want to have our network devices as Configuration Items (CI's) in our HP uCMDB
    Our question:
    Would it be save to give more privileges to the user lmsdatafeed ?
    And if yes: How can this be done ?
    Is it possible to give an admin user the rights to connect by jmx/jdbc ?
    Below I post the communication protocol of the adapter, connection is OK and the first select statement to, but them this user doesn't have enough privileges. The error messages are in german for some reason ... (means: "User has not sufficient privileges to selet from DM_Dev_State")
    Any help is appreciated !

    ===== snip ======

    Reading a database can DOS your LMS, but no permanent damage done.
    This doc will tell you about the databases available
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-8796
    You can set a password for each database, or one password for all using
    \CSCOpx\bin\dbpasswd.pl
    Each databse has it's own  SA  user
    if ($dsn eq 'ani'   ){$uid = 'cwsiSA'     ; }
    if ($dsn eq 'cmf'   ){$uid = 'cmfDBA'     ; }
    if ($dsn eq 'rmeng' ){$uid = 'DBA'        ; }
    if ($dsn eq 'dfmEpm'){$uid = 'itemEpmUser'; }
    if ($dsn eq 'dfmInv'){$uid = 'itemInvUser'; }
    if ($dsn eq 'dfmFh' ){$uid = 'itemFhUser' ; }
    if ($dsn eq 'opsxml'){$uid = 'DBA'        ; }
    if ($dsn eq 'upm'   ){$uid = 'dba'        ; }
    This should allow you to get the data
    Do keep in mind that all tables (except the views defined for lmsdatafeed) are subject to change.
    Cheers,
    Michel
