Problem executing programs after instaling Studio 8.1

I had JDK 1.5 installed on my computer. I earlier used to code my programs either in a text-editor or JCreator & run them from the command prompt.
I recently installed Studio Enterprise 8.1. My programs execute successfully from the IDE. They also complie successfully from the command prompt. But whenever I try to run them now from command prompt or JCreator, I always get a
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: <class name>
exception. Even when I am not using packages & the programs being run reside in the current directory only, where java.exe resides.
Can somebody help me????

The last few lines of the output are as follows:

I am unable to open my Photoshop program after installing the entire Creative Suite: Premium Production 6. All other programs work, but with Photoshop it says that the program is "locked or in use by another user". I need this fixed immediately.

This error occurs when the SLStore Folder is set to read-only. To resolve it, remove the read-only check from the SLStore folder (Windows) or give it read/write access (Mac OS). step in the link above.

Execute program after boot

Hi,
I use some Bash scripts to make backups of my data using rsync and cp -l.
To decide at boot time, if a backup should be made, I append DOBACKUP=yupp (yupp=yes, see problem below) to the kernel line in Grub. The variable DOBACKUP can be accessed within the init environment. I added a simple rc.d scripts that checks if the variable is set and starts the backup. However, this is not the nicest way, since the boot of the system is not finished yet. If the backup script hangs, I don't have any console. How can I execute a program after the computer is booted?
Furthermore, I don't want to execute the backup script in the background, since it asks for some user input.
What is the correct way in doing this?
Another strange behavior occurs, if I set DOBACKUP=yes. In this case, I get a blank screen and not boot output is shown (but it seems that the computer boots correctly, just without any output on the monitor). Thus I use yupp instead of yes to indicate the need for a backup: DOBACKUP=no or DOBACKUP=yupp work both as expected.

My intention is to install arch on a USB disk. A windows user can plug the disk in and start the computer. Arch Linux is booted from the USB disk and the backup is automatically started. However, a short message that everything worked fine before the script shuts the PC down would be preferable.

Problems with safari after installing Windows 8

After installing Windows 8 , i can't access some websites in Safari
For example i can't login on Binck bank or a webshop
After fill the login details the program file runs , but the login screen remain and the login details diappaers and gone white.
This is on a few websites where i have to use login details but on others such as webmail acounts it works normal.
I have set up safari again and again without succes
What can i do to solve this?

Use IE, FireFox, or Chrome and see if the problem remains. My experience is that Safari has never worked well on Windows.

Problems with MBP after installing smcfancontrol

I decided to install smcfancontrol because the computer was getting a bit hot after installing extra ram. Right after installing the software I encountered problems. It was not responsive and when it does, the fans would stay at its minimum rpm even after heavy load. I uninstall the software and the problem is still there. Fan's rpm will not increase as temperature rises.
I experimented by booting into windows and ran a game and I noticed that the fans were going faster. But when I reboot back into os X it doesn't reboot at all, I get the boot sound but it doesn't load and the screen is dark. I would have to press the power button to shut it off and turn it on again. I then decided to reinstall os X and to my dismay, the problem is still there!
Any Suggestions?

booted with install cd, ran the hardware diagnostic program and everything came out good. The fans rpm was higher as I was running the diagnostic program. I assume that firmware is not corrupted and it has more to do with the OS. Btw, is it normal for the computer to run at 60c and have the fan run at around 2000rpms? Is it possible to have some traces of the old OS left after a fresh install?
Edit: I got the computer to run in heavy load and after the cpu temp got to 65c the fans started kicking in. Guess it's back to normal. I was used to seeing the fan start running faster at around 60c

MacBook pro late 2011 (4G, i7) very slow to load any program after installing Mavericks

After instaling Mavericks, my Mac has slowed down so much, when I turn on my Mac it takes forever to load, and after it loaded, takes longer (then what it did before) to load any program.
Any help please?
My specs: MacBook PRO 13" late 2011, 4Gb RAM, Intel i7 2.8Ghz System most of the times shows 90-97% on idle (yet slow).

Has anyone else experienced problems using Microsoft Outlook after installing Mavericks? The computer seems to want to continue reloading emails.

Navigation problems in IE7 after installing "BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10"

I am having the following problem:
After installing the BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.10 (bi710sp07p_701-10004472.exe), Internet Explorer is not behaving normally anymore.
The problem is as follows: When I click on a link with the CTRL-key pressed, then IE7 will open the link in a new tab. However the page does not load anymore in the new tab, the contents will stay empty even though correct address is shown address bar.
The same will happen with pop-ups, so pop-up will appear, but it will not load, page stays white.
When I uninstall the patch then IE7 will work fine again.
For clarity, I am not talking about BEx web reporting here (because we only use BEx Analyzer). The problem occurs when accessing normal webpages like Google (the problem does not depend on the website that was selected).
Anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?

As a local Admin install the patches in the following order.
1.     bi710sp12p_1201-10004472.exe
2.     bw350gui710_8-10004473.exe
3.     gui710_17-10002995.exe
Getting a number of issues IE7+8 new tabs not working JRE stopped working and issues with excel (3 occasions)
Tried changing the order of the patches and doing full uninstall of sap followed by re-install of sap but the only thing which seems to work is un-install of IE, JRE and Excel then re-install. As you can imagine not very popular.
were going to try out the latest Bex7 1300 patch will let you know how its going

Problems con opcenum after installing LabView 2014

After installing LabView 2014, all other OPC compliant software (Matlab with the OPC Toolbox, Wonderware SCADA, OPC Demo Client from Softing, ...) previously installed on my PC (Windows 7) started to have problems in browsing OPC Servers. They were unable to connect with opcenum service for listing installed OPC servers. After manually unregistering opcenum and registering again as a service (and cleaning the windows register), everything was solved.
So I guess there is a bug with the labview installer that mess things up with the opcenum service. I haven't found anything on the web but in case anyone has the same problem, this is the "manual" solution. Anyway, I would like to ask NI to revise the problem.

I haven´t heard of this issue with a standard LabView install, however there is a known issue with the standard DSC install. Have you installed DSC 7.1? If so you need to go in and modify the DSC install to uninstall the "Keyboard Filter". The filter causes the computer to hang when it attempts to suspend.

Textpad can't Run programs after installing oracle9i Jdeveloper

'NoClassFound' this type run error is displaying the textpad editor, after installing the jDeveloper. Before installing the JDeveloper it was running properly from textpad through jdk 5,
Now it is showing the above error.
Though from the jdeveloper run engine the same program is running properly.
where it is conflicting? i know jdeveloper got its own java exe and compiler, is it making any prob wid da jdk 5 exe and compiler?

Let me understand: you have a Mac Pro (this forum) or G5? totally different.
Why not backup the home directory and then erase and install? that works.
Your hardware profile etc says "10.3.9" and while it is possible to do an update in place from panther to tiger, it really works best to reformat and install (after backup up everything obviously).

Serious wifi problems with iMac after installing Mountain Lion

Problems playing sound after installing 10.4.4

After installing 10.4.4 update, i have a problem when i play some mp3 file in itunes or quicktime 7.0.4, it sounds with jumps and cracking. I've reinstalled the update using the combo, repair permisions, reinstalled quicktime and nothing happens.
Any suggestion?

After upgrading to OS 10.4.4 I have no startup chime or sound. I to tried changing the Audio MIDI Setup application (located in Applications/Utilities) and changing the output setting to different settings and back to 44 KHz (44100.0 Hz).
