Hello Experts,
We have problem in date format of some Purchase Order  in printout, the format of PO document date and delivery date are customized for example  PO document date Mar 02, 2011 and Delivery date Mar 15, 2011.

How come this format? some PO's are ok in their date format.
hoping your best solution to fixed this issue.

Hi,
1st get help from  ABAPer  & check how PO doc. date  & Delivery date of PO set in "PDF/Smart Form" which you used for PO print can be checked in NACE t.code with EF application for you PO output type.
Also check  in t.code: SU3 , in the default tab how Date Format is selected for user.

  • Can we change the doc date in a purchase order ?

    can we change the doc date in a purchase order ?
    i have created PO with wrong dates but now want to correct it, but its not letting me do it ...why ?

    I don't think DOC DATES can be changed. You can only change the posting dates of the Goods receipt and Invoice documents as that is what matter for your financial consolidation.

  • In MIGO, i need to see delivery dates from the purchase order

    Is there a way to see in transaction MIGO, the delivery dates from the purchase order?  I hope there is some exit or BADI or BAPI or .... to perform this copy function?
    We have multi-line POs for the same material with staggered delivery dates and the Warehouse needs to know which PO line to receive against.

    when you enter the PO number in MIGO and hit enter, then you only get the items that can be received.
    If you make sure that the PO items are created by ascending delivery date, then you can always take the first.
    if you have the personal setting to display all items (even the already received ones), then you can take the first with a quantity proposal. already received items do not propose quantities.
    I would ask purchasing to tell the vendor that he has to state the PO number along with the item number in all papers (delivery note, invoice).

  • Logic required to findout "Release To Date" of the Purchase order

    Hi
    We are developing a custom program to release purchase orders as per clients requirements. In that, in the output, we need to display the "Release To Date" of the purchase order. Consider the release codes are R1,R2& R3, and currently the PO is released by R1, then we need to show "Release To Date" as R1. Simillerly once R2 also released the PO, we need to show "R1 R2" in the Release To Date field. This you can see in the Release Tab of the PO.
    Now we need to adopt the same logic in our custom program also. Which table i can find the release to date details. The latest release code of the PO also good enough to build the logic to findout the "Release To Date"
    Any pointers would be of great help.
    Thanks
    Venkat.

    Changing the ini files should change the date format. Have you amended the correct instances of the date format? In dbFeatures there is one for every ODBC connection.
    For example in my DBFeatures.INI
    [ DATA_SOURCE_FEATURE = ODBC_300 ]
    DATE_FORMAT = 'dd-mm-yyyy' ;
         TIME_FORMAT = 'hh:mi:ss' ;
         DATE_TIME_FORMAT = 'dd-mm-yyyy hh:mi:ss' ;
         IDENTIFIER_QUOTE_CHAR = '"';Also a file on the presentation side in OracleBI \web\Config called localedefinitions.xml.
    Inside that there appears to be defaults for localisations - maybe it is possible to amend your locale in the Administration settings of the dashboard.
    However, I haven't tried this sorry.

  • Billing date for a purchase order in the corresponding billing document

    Hello,
    for a purchase order I need to select the billing date in the bill which corresponds to the purchase order. There is a posting date in the order history but I am not sure that this date is identical with the billing date in the purchase order. Any suggestions? Thanks.
    Regards, Lars.

    I guess you are talking about due date for a billing document.
    There's an FM Determine_Due_date for that. before that you'll have to use FM FI_DOCUMENT_READ with I_AWTYP as VBRK and I_AWREF as Billing Document Number. You will get T_BSEG entry.
      CALL FUNCTION 'FI_DOCUMENT_READ'
       EXPORTING
         i_awtyp           = 'VBRK'
         i_awref           = po_vbeln
       TABLES
         t_bseg            = i_bseg
      SORT i_bseg BY vbeln.
    READ TABLE i_bseg WITH KEY vbeln = 'Billing Document Number'.
      IF sy-subrc IS INITIAL.
        MOVE-CORRESPONDING i_bseg TO wa_faede.
        CALL FUNCTION 'DETERMINE_DUE_DATE'
             EXPORTING
                  i_faede                    = wa_faede
             IMPORTING
                  e_faede                    = wa_faede
             EXCEPTIONS
                  account_type_not_supported = 1
                  OTHERS                     = 2.
    This wa_faede will have due date in one of its fields.

    regds
    joy

    Hi Joy,
    You can adopt a release procedure where in you can block a PO for printing unlease its release strategy is fulfilled.
    Please go though below documents and grant me points if it works for you.
    Release Purchase Orders (MM-PUR)
    Technical name: SAP_MM_PUR_PO_RELEASE
    Tasks
    You can use this role to release (approve) purchase orders.
    A purchase order may be blocked via a release procedure (if its total value exceeds a predefined value - say $10,000 - for instance). Before this purchase order can be outputted (printed out or transmitted directly to the vendor), it must be approved (i.e. released).

        (ME23N - not ME24N)

    Hi,
    In ME23N you cann't find the Posting date, you can find only Document date of the Purchase order, when the PO is created like that,
    If you done any Goods reciept w.r.t this Purchase order you can find the Posting date of GR document in Purchase Order History tab at Item details of the PO in ME23N.

  • Problem while reconciling the subcontracting purchase order

    Dear Sir,
           I am facing a problem while reconciling the subcontracting purchase order.
           Scenario : My subcontract PO is for 3 Nos of part A(finished goods)  & for which we sent 10 kg of child part B to the
           Vendor.
           We did the GR partially i.e. 1 Nos at a time against which child part B is consumed as 10/3= 3.333333kg.
           After all the part are received, Vendors stock for part B still show 0.00000001kg. Hence we are not able to reconcile the
          full quantity.
         Is there a process to reconcile the remaining quantity. Please Advice.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Ritesh.

    Hi,
    There are two ways of handling this.
    1. TC:MB1B create a material document for reversing the vendor stock of 0.00000001kg using movement type 542.
    2. TC:J1IFQ reconcile the challan w.r.t above material document.
    3. TC:J1IF13 complete the challan
    4. Stock of 0.00000001kg from the plant can be corrected by physical inventory process citing the reason
    OR
    Cancell the last material document & challan assignment. Redo the GR (you can change the quantity of child manually to 3.333334 Kg)
    However, this situation can be avoided during MIGO itself. In the last GR when the system proposes child part quantity as 3.333333 Kg, you can change the quantity manually to 3.333334 Kg.
