Problem in delta load with Z field

Hello Experts,
We have CRM 5.0 system and as per the requirement we have
added ZFIELD to BUT000 table. This field is added to BUT000 via EEWB – Easy
Enhancement Workbench. This field is also BW enabled.
BW enabled means – this field is used / available to BW
extractor for further analysis.
We update this ZFIELD with custom program – FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE.
When full load is done – data flows to BW correctly, ZFIELD
values are reflecting correctly. But when we are doing delta load it is not
working.
If we use BP t-code delta works perfectly. So issue from BW
side is ruled out. The FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE is not triggering the change
record for this BP. But then I don’t see any other FM / BAPI to use so that
change record is also created.
Could you please provide any pointers or any checks to
overcome this problem?

When you are changing the attributes(say ZFIELD) and save the transaction in BP, Is this updating the CHDAT(Change date) in BUT000?
If the change date is being applied, then Delta shouldnt be a problem - if you are using datasource 0BPARTNER_ATTR.
In order to check if the delta is being captured or not, you could use TCODE RSA7. Also, this brings the Doubt when you say Full load works while delta doesnt, try Re-initializing the datasource from BW after Datasource replication - because there have been some changes effective in Source system which the BW system/Delta queue might take into consideration.

Problem using SQL Loader with ODI

Hi,
I am having problems using SQL Loader with ODI. I am trying to fill an oracle table with data from a txt file. At first I had used "File to SQL" LKM, but due to the size of the source txt file (700MB), I decided to use "File to Oracle (SQLLDR)" LKM.
The error that appears in myFile.txt.log is: "SQL*Loader-101: Invalid argument for username/password"
I think that the problem could be in the definition of the data server (Physical architecutre in topology), because I have left blank Host, user and password.
Is this the problem? What host and user should I use? With "File to SQL" works fine living this blank, but takes to much time.

Problem in delta management for custom fields added in standard Table

Hi developers,
we have a problem, when a sales order is modified in a field custom, added in tables (VBAP-VBAK), the delta BW doesn't recognize the modifications. The data type of these fields haven't the flag (Change document) setted in
view Definition.
If this flag is setted, Can the delta BW recognize the modifications of the custom fields?

You cannot get delta by just appending fields to extract structure & writing the user exit coding as this user exit code is run by the extractor after the X- and Y- tables are compared to create the before & after images.
You have to do this procedure by enhancing LIS comm structures like MCVBAP (for example).

Urgent: Problems in Delta load

Hi BW Gurus/Experts,
I am new to BW and My requirement is to load deltas from CRM to BW,I have initialized deltas and after some days(appx. around 3days) there was changes in the records so I have created infopackage and tried to load deltas but i cannot do that i donot know what might be the reason when i check in monitor the status of the request is yellow with 0 from 0 records eventhough there are records which i check in RSA7. I have seen some previous posts according to some gurus suggestion I have activated the transfer structure and replicated datasources and loaded deltas again but it didnot helped me.I even tried by init load without data transfer and than i have created another infopackage for delta load that too it didnot helped me. Would anyone please suggest me some of the steps and brief explaination on them I need to follow for the following queries:
1) If I need to load deltas after 4 to 5 days of Init load.
2) If I need to load deltas again after 5 to 6 days of deltas load.
When I load deltas after init or delta load after some days by init load without data transfer and loaded deltas than the status of the request is green in monitor but with 0 from 0 records. would anyone put some light on it. I appreciate it in advance.

Hi AK,
1) As mentioned that you have activiated the transfer structure and replicated data source..I guess it should be other way ..first you have replicate the datasource and activate the transfer structure but though TS gets activate by normal ..Its good if you activate TS through the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL ..give TS name and activate then try to load the data.
2) There are some possible reasons when IDOC get hangs such as missing free dialog process in the target system
a)IDOC hang in status 64 for tRFC with immediate( Check note:555229)
b)Request hang because IDOCS are not processed (Check note: 561880)
c)RFC resource check returns incorrect result (Check note:311930)
3)Check entries in delta queue (RSA7) see also note 380078.
4)Its also better to use Diagnosis tools delta queue monitor qRFC t.code :SMQ1 in source system see also note 444261.

Problems sending an email with a field attached.

Hi everyone,
Im having problems with sending an e-mail (with a field attached) to an external e-mail address.
Im using the followings functions:

Everything goes well (the functions are executed well), but the message stacks and it isnt be sent.
I can see it with the transaction SBWP, it is in the folder Exit/Documents with status: Waiting communication service .
Then I can send it from there clicking at the button send. And then it is sent.
Have anyone any clue about what Ive missed to do.
I really appreciate your help; I need to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Problems of Delta loadings with an ODS in addition

I meet a problem. I'm going to try to explain it clearly
My system is a BI 7.0. I created a dataflow:
1. extractor - 0FI_GL_4
2. ODS - ZFI_GL_4: Update Rule (not transformation) in overwrite & delta mode
3.ODS - ZODSHCC1: Update Rule (not transformation) in addition & delta mode
4.Cube.... (from this step my problem already exists)
I meet problem with the feeding of the 2nd ODS (the 1st one is correctly feeded).
Because of a "stupid" generated abap line, the UR doesn't take into account the local currency (present into the data field screen not in the key data screen) of before-image records.

Consequently after activation the lines impacted by the "Before-Image" records have the local currency field erased (blank) but ratio OK.

About you: "But if I guess, the code you call generated, is part of delivered code and it is meant for a UR with overwrite, not for addition."
The concerning field "local currency (0LOC_CURRCY)" is in overwrite; it isn't a ratio (& it isn't a key field) so I can't choose the addition option.

Problems targeting swf loaded with loadClip()

Hi everyone,
I'm having a really weird problem that I hope someone will be able to help me with. I'm using Actionscript 2.0.
Basically, I have a main .swf, into which I am loading another .swf using loadClip(), on the click of a button. It loads into an empty movie clip on the timeline of the main .swf called container_mc. So far so good, this works.
The problem comes when I am trying to control a movie clip that lives on the timeline of the external .swf. This clip has the instance name test_mc, and I'm trying to control it using the reference _level0.container_mc.test_mc. I have also tried just plain old container_mc.test_mc.
Neither of these work, though when I apply a trace to test_mc with Actionscript on the timeline of the external swf (test_mc.onRelease = function () { trace(this); }), it returns the path _level0.container_mc.test_mc (when clicked on after being loaded into the main movie, obviously).
Can anybody give me any ideas as to what is going wrong here? I've attached a couple of files demonstrating the problem I'm having.

Thanks for confirming that I'm not crazy or stupid in thinking that's what the reference should be (honestly, I was starting to imagine that I must be one of the two), however I definitely only have one each of container_mc and test_mc. I've just tested this by changing the instance names (one at a time) - if there was a duplicate instance with the same name, the code would presumably still work, which it doesn't.

Problems using SQL*Loader with Oracle SQL Developer

I have been using TOAD and able to import large (milllions of rows of data) in various file formats into a table in an Oracle database. My company recently decided not to renew any more TOAD licenses and go with Oracle SQL Developer. The Oracle database is on a corporate server and I access the database via Oracle client locally on my machine. Oracle SQL Developer and TOAD are local on my desktop and connected through TNSnames using the Windows XP platform. I have no issues with using SQL*Loader via the import wizard in TOAD to import the data in these large files into an Oracle table and producing a log file. Loading the same files via SQL*Loader in SQL Developer, freezes up my machine and I cannot get it to produce a log file. Please help!

I am using SQL Developer version 3.0.04. Yes, I have tried it with a smaller file with no success. What is odd is that the log file is not even created. What is created is a .bat file a control file and a .sh file but no log file. The steps that I take:
1.Right click on the table I want to import to or go to actions
2. Import Data
3. Find file to import
4. Data Preview - All fields entered according to file
5. Import Method - SQL Loader utility
6. Column Definitions - Mapped
7. Options - Directory of files set
8. Finish
With the above steps I was not able to import 255 rows of data. No log file was produced so I don't know why it is failing.

Problem in Sql Loader With Win2000 Professional

Hi,
I am using Win-2000 prof. while loading data with sqlldr I am not comming out from the prompt after inserting all the data in the table.
c:\>sqlldr system/manager@scs party.ctl silent=ALL --enter
^c
c:\>
I have to press Ctrl+C to come out from the prompt.

Problem in Sql*loader with specifc characters like "ù,°,€ ...."

I have problems by loadinf a flat file which contains specific characters.
These characters multiplies by 2 the size of the zone.
For example, in chains of 10 characters.
If the value is :
' ABCDEFGHIJ' OK (10)
' ABCDEFGHI° ' NOK (9 + 1*2) 11 > 10
' Aù°?° ' OK (2*5)

Problems to print contacts with specific fields under Maverick.

I am unable to print contacts with specific, selected fields like `firm´ or `position´under Mavericks. The selected fields will not show up in the printing preview and not be printed at all. Any ideas?

Thanks, John! It seems you guessed correct, partly at least. I turned some of the problamatic fields off and on again an these are showing up now and I can print them. Great!
However, I can see the field "firma" (German = company in English) in the previewed sample card but not in the pull down menu "Add Field". That means, I am unable to turn it off/on. The intersting thing: The field is visible and selectable even in the printer dialog were you can select the fields you would like to print but it remains unprintable.

BC4J: Problem deleting a row with clob field

When I try to delete a row that contains a CLOB field.
When I call the function removeCurrentRow in my View object I get this exception:
JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key
Could anyone tell me why I can't remove the row? Thanks in advance!

Problem using BAPI BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST with vendor field XZEMP

Hi, I'm using the bapi BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, when i fill the table ACCOUNTPAYABLE and execute it, if i use a vendor that doesn't have an 'X' in the field XZEMP (Indicator: Alternative payee in document allowed ?) of the table LFA1 the bapi returns an error.
I haven't found any place in the bapi tables to override this.
Is there something that should be parameterized so that this error doesn't happen?
