Problems of Delta loadings with an ODS in addition

I meet a problem. I'm going to try to explain it clearly
My system is a BI 7.0. I created a dataflow:
1. extractor - 0FI_GL_4
2. ODS - ZFI_GL_4: Update Rule (not transformation) in overwrite & delta mode
3.ODS - ZODSHCC1: Update Rule (not transformation) in addition & delta mode
4.Cube.... (from this step my problem already exists)
I meet problem with the feeding of the 2nd ODS (the 1st one is correctly feeded).
Because of a "stupid" generated abap line, the UR doesn't take into account the local currency (present into the data field screen not in the key data screen) of before-image records.

Consequently after activation the lines impacted by the "Before-Image" records have the local currency field erased (blank) but ratio OK.
On the other hand, the "After-Image" records (always new lines in DSO=new key) are good (good amount, good currency...).

Yes I'm sure!!!! it's a generated UR abap code.
About you: "But if I guess, the code you call generated, is part of delivered code and it is meant for a UR with overwrite, not for addition."
The concerning field "local currency (0LOC_CURRCY)" is in overwrite; it isn't a ratio (& it isn't a key field) so I can't choose the addition option.

Data upload problem in delta update from 1st ODS to 2nd ODS

Dear Friends,
I am loading data from one ODS to another. The update mode was full upload. Sometime back an error occurred in activation of the first ODS. The error was: Full updates already available in ODS ,Cannot update init./delta. So currently daily records are pulled but not added i.e. transferred recs = 4000 but added recs = 0.
When I looked for a solution in SDN I found that using program RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG for 2nd ODS will reset all full uploads to Repair Full Request which I have already done for 2nd ODS. Then initialize once and pull delta.
But problem is that I cannot set update mode to delta as I am pulling some 80,000 records in 2nd ODS from 1st ODS with around 14 lacs records daily based on some data-selection filters in infopkg. But do not see any parameters for data-selction in delta mode.
Please suggest.

Dear Sirs,
Due to this error in activation in 2nd ODS daily data upload is failing in 1st ODS.
To correct this I converted all full upload requests in 2nd ODS to Repair full requests.
But now when I scheduled the infopkg today with full upload again data was transferred but not added.
I know I cannot have init./ delta so what possibly can now be done in this scenario. Please help.

Problem in delta load with Z field

Hello Experts,
We have CRM 5.0 system and as per the requirement we have
added ZFIELD to BUT000 table. This field is added to BUT000 via EEWB – Easy
Enhancement Workbench. This field is also BW enabled.
BW enabled means – this field is used / available to BW
extractor for further analysis.
We update this ZFIELD with custom program – FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE.
When full load is done – data flows to BW correctly, ZFIELD
values are reflecting correctly. But when we are doing delta load it is not
working.
If we use BP t-code delta works perfectly. So issue from BW
side is ruled out. The FM BUPA_CENTRAL_CI_CHANGE is not triggering the change
record for this BP. But then I don’t see any other FM / BAPI to use so that
change record is also created.
Could you please provide any pointers or any checks to
overcome this problem?

When you are changing the attributes(say ZFIELD) and save the transaction in BP, Is this updating the CHDAT(Change date) in BUT000?
If the change date is being applied, then Delta shouldnt be a problem - if you are using datasource 0BPARTNER_ATTR.
In order to check if the delta is being captured or not, you could use TCODE RSA7. Also, this brings the Doubt when you say Full load works while delta doesnt, try Re-initializing the datasource from BW after Datasource replication - because there have been some changes effective in Source system which the BW system/Delta queue might take into consideration.

If the "it" refers to a compressed (zipped) spreadsheet that you downloaded, the ".ods" extension is used by LibreOffice and probably OpenOffice (which are free versions of MS Office) for spreadsheets, which would suggest that wherever you're getting that "Excel" file from has switched to one of those programs. I've tried opening an .ods file from LibreOffice using MS Office 2013 for Windows and it does open though with a warning that some things have been changed. I don't know if Office for Mac can normally open .ods files. But if your need is to just open .ods files, take a look at LibreOffice.

0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 - Problems on Delta with several Inits

Hello Friends,
I try to load Deltas for 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 from CRM System. Due to the amount of data I had to split Init-Loads by month.
So 1st Init Load loads 01.01.0001 - 31.12.2003
2nd Init loads 01.01.2004 - 31.12.2004
3rd Init loads 01.01.2005-31.01.2005
and from 2005 on there are monthly inits.
Now I scheduled Delta loads - but there are always 0 Data coming. In CRM System the queue is filling up - close to 1 million Data sets.
It seems 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 can´t work when Inits are devided into several Infopackages - but I can´t load all of them in just one InfoPackage due to system sizes.
Do you have an idea where the problem ist?

Delta upload with Data Source 2LIS_02_SCL

We extract the purchasing data from SAP R /3 4.7 into BW 3.0b using standard DataSource 2LIS_02_SCL. We load the data first into ODS using Delta ABR and then from ODS into InfoCube. We have already loaded Init delta and now delta is running every month.
The key figures in ODS are overwritten. 0RECORDMODE is mapped in transfer rules with R/3 field ROCANCEL.
When we see the change log for the ODS, we see 3 RECORDMODE entries ( , X and N) for each purchase order.
Now we have the Problem that the keyfigures in the ODS are accumulated (each purchasing item with all 3 recordmode entries). Normally it should not accumulated purchasing item with Recordmode X.

Hi Moha,
If you are using ABR method, you should use ADD instead of overwrite. I guess you have as a key field for the ODS the date. Then, when a new record comes to the ODS, you get the new value with the X and the blank for the new day, and, instead of having the quantity it was delivered or invoiced that day, you get the total.
You need to know that SCL datasource for purchasing goes adding the amount invoiced and delivered each time it gets one new.

Problem while delta extraction

Dear Experts,
I am facing a poblem while delta extraction for AR ODS. When I check the status of delta extraction it shows green and records transferred as well but when i check into BW side I find some records missing. When I faced this problem for first time I did the init load again after which all records came into BW side but subsequently again when some changes were made in R/3 side and delta was uploaded, again the same records were found missing.
If anyone has any idea why this is happening please guide me as to how to go about it. Also I have given no filter conditions in data selection.

Hi,
the standard delta extraction is not sensitive to program in the R/3 side that write directly into tables. For my experience, this is the only reason when the delta does not work.
So, check with the R/3 people, if they are input account document by write directly into BSIS or BSAS.

BI 7.3 delta extraction with SQL Server 2008

Hi experts,
I'm trying to extract data with delta update from a SQL Server with UD Connect, i test this ways:
Field DateTime in SQL Server: The problem is I only can delta within a day, no changes detected in the same day because SAP detects two fields here date and time, and can only can reference date field as a delta field.
Field TimesTamp in SQL Server: The problem seems the same, SAP recognize this as a date and time field.
Can any explain here the correct way for a delta implementation with SQL Server 2008? I would be very grateful.

That is what I need to do.
Create a Model from an existing SQL Server database with the Import data Dictionary option , be able to modify tables structures, extended properties in the model, and then sync those changes with the database.
So far I can't import the extended properties with DM 3.1.1. If you find a way , please let me know.

Error in delta load activation in ODS

Hello every one,
we have generated generic data source and assigned delta on Shipment number with lower limit 10.
when we loaded data through initial load it got all the records from R3 and scheduled delta (suppose to get 0 records because no data was generated ), Delta is bringing 6 records with it and getting error while activating in ODS due to duplicates.
1.How these 6 record came from with out generating data in R3..
2.while activating it is showing error by saying below message
System error occurred (RFC call)
Key value exists in duplicate (Not allowed by the ODS object type)
Activation of data records from ODS object ZODSNAME terminated
No confirmation for request ODSR_4APQX0IG5LKYJX8248G9QB314 when activating the ODS object ZODSNAME
Request REQU_4APPPJ630P70EWTMMY686TTSO , data package 000001 incorrect with status 5
Request REQU_4APPPJ630P70EWTMMY686TTSO , data package 000001 not correct

If i am not clear ..please ask i am ready to give required inputs

Hello,
1. The records may be due to Safety delta interval you have maintained in your generic datasource. In RSA7, you can check STAT column for your data source. Click on the Pointer for Generic delta. you would see Shipment Number from which next delta would be pulled it.
2. Have you unchecked "Do Not Check Uniqueness of Data" in your DSO. This may be the cause for activation failure as same records are coming in as per the safety interval maintained.

Delta not reflecting in ODS

I am pulling data from Ztable (R/3) using generic extraction. The data is on planned production. The fields are YEAR,MONTH,WEEK, UPLOAD-DATE , MATERIAL,QUANTITY. The R/3 user uploads a flat file every month into this Ztable. During the month if changes in data are to be done.He deletes the recent upload and makes changes in required fields and re-uploads the file into Ztable. The only changes he does are in the QUANTITY Field. In R/3 the generic datasource I create , I use Generic Delta with "new status for changes records". I am confused which field I should use, UPLOAD-DATE or QUANTITY for "Delta-specific field". Whichever field I choose and test, I take this Delta into ODS. In ODS although when I take "INIT DELTA PROCESS" for a particular YEAR, I pull the all records pertaining to that year. But when the user changes info in ZTABLE hence-forth ,those changes are not pulled when I take further "DELTA UPDATE" into my ODS. Why is that?

What is approximate data volume in Ztable ?? If its not significant then opt for full updload .
Second option is, if possible insert time stamp field in the Ztable and populate it with the timestamp of record change. Create generic extractor delta on the timestamp field.

Delta Load failure from ODS to Cube

Experts,
After CRM upgrade, I had to reinitilized the delta process. In this, I reloaded ODS with first init delta without data and then delta load with new data created in CRM. This worked good so far. After this when I tried to load cube with init. delta without data, no issues. But delta load from ODS to Cube doesn't work. Does anybody have any suggestions, please?

Data Packets or Info Packets are missing in BW, but there were - as far as can be seen - no processing errors in the source system. It is
therefore probable that an error arose in the data transfer.
With the analysis an attempt was made to read the ALE outbox of the source system, which lead to error .
It is possible that no connection exists to the source system.
Procedure
Check the TRFC overview in the source system.
Check the connection of the source system for errors and check the
authorizations and profiles of the remote user in both the BW and
source systems.

As far as i understood, you have successful deltas' loading to the ODS and you want to update entire ODS data to the Cube followed by daily delta's.
If this is the case,
Make sure that you have active update rules exist between ODS and Cube.
First goto your ODS and right click and select option 'Update ODS data in data target'.
Select Init update > IT will take you to the init info package where you select init <b>with data transfer</b> (Init with data transfer will bring all the records from ODS to Cube)
Once init is completed ,you can schedule to load delta's regularly form ODS to Cube by following the same steps.

K7n2 delta ilsr with kingston pc333

Owning a MSI K7N2 DELTA ILSR with an AMD ATHLON XP 2800+ and 512mb DDR KINGSTON (KVR333X64C25/512).
I like to run the motherboard with a FSB of 166MHz, with a 12.5 multiplier.
Setting the FSB/DRAM to 1:1 gives no troubles at all.
But FSB/DRAM 1:2 will lock up the booting process and the only way to escape the black-screen-of-nothing is to reset the bios with the jumper :-(
This way I run half the speed my memory is capable of!

I ran the utility disk and this is what it said.

We did that, but it just doesn't seem to be able to connect. So basically we tried to connect to our network and insert the password, but afterwards it does nothing. Weird thing is also that the network symbol (top right of the screen) says that it has been connected, but when I go look at the system preferences --> network, it states that it has not been connected

Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas
