Problem in formula:value getting round off

Hi All,
I  need to divide 2 keyfigures and fill it in one keyfigure..
What i am doing , In transformation  i have 2 fields in datasource one is value and other is quantity and i  am mapping these 2 fields with one keyfigure in ODS..
I am creating formula in rule in which I am dividing value by quantity (value/quantity) but when i am running DTP and loading data the value in my keyfigure is coming after rounding off... like
I have value 4,311,781.58 and quantity 16,200.000 , if i divide i should get  266.159
but in my ODS this value is coming as 266.16..
Please advise how to remove this roundoff functionality...
Regards
Shweta

Hi shweta,
You have two options in this case.
1. Go to your created key figure. After clicking on change go the tab 'Additional properties".
There you can see Decimal Places under business explorer. you can change the number of places if you know to what    places you need the calculated value.
2. Go to your created key figure. After clicking on change go to the first tab Type/unit and change your data type to FLTP- Floating point number.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Rahul

  • FSD Value getting rounded off in ECC

    Hi Experts
I am  facing an issue at the time of transferring the FSD document  from TM to ECC. My FSD has 3000 USD value (approx) but at the time when it goes to ECC this value gets converted to 30 USD only i.e. the Service PO & Service entry sheet gets created for 30 USD only.I am using only one charge type FB00 is my TCM.
I am not able to figure out how is the automatic rounding taking place. Even the payload from TM is bringing this value (3000) to ECC.
Note: My FSD doc currency and company code currency are same.(USD)
Would request your comments or inputs on this
    Thanks

    Hi Michael
    Thanks for your reply
Well somehow i was able to resolve this but this is not supposed to be required.Anyhow i feel there might be a bug.
Anyways, i went down to the ECC>IMG>SAP Netweaver>general settings>Currencies>Set decimal places for currencies>Maintain blank OR zero for USD.
That somehow resolved our issue. But i seriously dont think this should have been done. Maybe it just worked. After going into deep we found that if no entries are being maintained in the table TCURX then the system will be default taking a rounding upto 4 decimal places for the document currency that you are using.
    Thanks

  • Quantity getting rounded off in Sales Order

    Hello All,
The problem is related to Sales Order raising in SD which is as follows -
While punching a sales order for example :-           Quantity (Kg)         Per Kg Price (Rs.)           Net Value (Rs.)
    Material A               3036.800                   3052                            9268313.60
                                                          Material A               3037.000                   3052                            9268924.00
                                                                                    Difference in Net Value           610.40
As mentioned above the difference in net value is occurring due to the rounding of quantity of material A while the sales order is generated, which is actually totally not recommendable as we know that in standard SAP system we have the provision of rounding up of net value whereas here the quantity of the material is getting rounded up.
Please suggest how to stop this commercial rounding up of material quantity & kindly provide the configuration steps if any to stop this.
    Thanks & regards
    Priyanka Mitra

    Hello All,
In addition to the above mentioned problem please find below a little more explanation related to it  -
In the material master Sales Org 1 View we have maintained the rounded off profile ZRON for example as " No Round Off " and conversion factor for unit of measurement is maintained as 1Ton = 1000 Kg & 1kg=1Kg. Still while punching the sale order for 3036.8Kg of material A when we enter the rate as 35732 INR/Ton the entire net value is getting rounded off to 108518.08 INR instead of 108510.93 INR, when we are checking the pricing condtions it has been observed that the condition based value is getting rounded off to 3.037 instead of 3.0368 which is actually the exact value.
Please suggest how to stop this rounding off calculation of the condition based value.
Looking forward to some valuable suggestions.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Price per unit is getting round off to two decimal places.

    Hi Gurus,
In the Billing output, the Price per unit is getting round off to two decimal places.
How can we avoid this or allow 4 decimal places for such cases.
In the same pricing procedure, we have two pricing condition types PR02 and ZR01.
    When PR02 is being used,it doesnt rounds off Price per unit.e.g .578888 = .578888
But when ZR01 is being used the system rounds off price per unit.e.g.578888 = .58
Please suggest where is the setting for it.
    Thanks
    Montee

    Hi,
Which currency you are using? If its INR, then it will do only for 2 decimal places.
The solution for ur problem can be ractified by changing the scales :

  • UOM is getting rounded-off while converting the PR into PO

    Dear all,
We have created a PR with the UOM - EA for the qty 2.256 but the same was changed as 2 while converting the PR into Purchase order (If the PR qty is 2.564, then PO qty is changed to 3).
I have checked in "CUNI". In this, for "EA", decimal pl rounding is maintained as 3.
(If we create the PO directly for decimal qty w/o referring the PR, qty is getting rounded-off in print format. We have already posted this print script issue alone and we were advised to change the print script.)
What we have to do to get the actual PR qty in PO.
       Pl give your valuable suggestions.
    Warm regards,
    M.Selvaganesh,

    Friends,
What is the application of decimal places under display and decimal pl. rounding under conversion in CUNI?
(If i maintained  decimal pl. rounding as 2, system is taking the PR qty of 2.256 as 2.25 in PO. and i've maintained decimal places as 3. But where can i see this in PO?)
    Pl clarify.
    Cool regards,

  • Forecast rounding off

    hi all
the forecast which i receive from other system ( APO / BW ) comes in decimals even for an unit which wont have decimals. ( say Number, Item etc).
is there any settings that should be done so that the values get rounder off.
    rgds
    jolly

    Dear,
You can maintain the following values for user parameter MM_FCST_ROUND:
' ':(No value maintained): Rounding as in standard.
'K': Rounding to the nearest whole number.
        'B': Rounding always down.
The setting of user parameter MM_FCST_ROUND not only affects the material forecast with Transactions MP30, MP38 and MPBT but also with Transaction MM02.
    Please try and come back.

  • Need rounding off value for partial Goods receipt

    Hi,
My requirement is that the PO value,PO tax value ,GR value and Invoice value(IR) should get rounded off.
When I am using the PO value which is rounded off in PO, but at the time of posting partial goods receipt the value for the GR/IR clearing or the stock value is not getting rounded off for these G/ls.
What should I do for this to get the rounded off values in GR.
    Regards,
    Goraksh

    Hi Goraksh,
The problem is that the pricing (incl. the rule 17) is not normally called at the time of GR. As Jürgen wrote, the system just uses the "net value" field of the PO.
I have however a "wild" idea. If the price in the PO comes from the info record or from a contract (and not changed manually there), then you can set the "pricing date category" = 5 there, meaning "GR date". This causes the pricing to be called again at the time of GR and your formula 17 will fire.
The side effect of course is that the price that you had in the PO, printed and sent to the vendor will not be binding: if you change the PIR price before the GR, the GR will be posted to the new PIR price, despite the fact that the PO printout showed something else. So the question is if the price printed on the PO is indeed binding in your business case - in many business cases it is the current vendor price that matters for the billing by the vendor, not the one that you prined on the PO. For such business cases you should have had pricing date category 5 anyway...

  • Pr00 decimal values needs instead off rounding the value

In export sales Pr00  condition value is rounding off i need to be in decimal values
i have checked in Condition type V/06 rounding fields it is not effecting  and also OB90 and OY04
example rounding  off  26 USD, but at actual it should 25.58 exchange rate is 43 and qty is 100
can any body suggests where the setting ar required

    Hi,
Please check the Rounding rule property of the condition type 'PR00'. It must have been set to Round up rather than Commercial.
Change the Rounding rule property to Commercial. I guess this will solve your purpose.

  • Rounding off on prompts

I am facing a problem in the prompts on decimal fields. I have various fields for balances which store data in 2 decimal places in the database. I am overriding them to show 0 decimal places in the UI. When I put the values in prompt, some of the results are not displayed. Ex, say in the database, the value is 64.5 , my UI will show it as 65. When I put 65 in the prompt filter, this record is not returned. Ideally, the user would like to see the record as it is getting displayed as 65. Is there any solution for this.
    thx.

    let me refresh your question..
You are getting rounded off values in the prompt..
But, while passing to report as filter it's applying with decimal places .. am i right?
Now, tell me.. what do you want to do with this? Do you want values with decimal places in prompt?
or you want without decimal values in the filter?
If you want decimal places in prompt, you should change your fx to: cast(column as Real) then try...
If it works okay, otherwise try with round(cast(column as Real), 2)
