Problem in Message Processing Rules

Hi All,
I have created Webservice(URL) for an transaction through Message Processing rule, with server name: 'XMIIMESSAGELISTENER'
URL: http://<IP Address>/XMII/Illuminator?Service=WSMessageListener&mode=WSMessageListenerServer&NAME=Shop_order_data&XacuteLoginName=<username>&XacuteLoginPassword=<passwrd>
Above URL or transaction has 1 input(XML) and 1 output(string)
As it tested from Oracle system, its working fine and updating all the data and saving xml file in MII DB.
As it save data in MII, it will send success message(string) in the output parameter of transaction.
This message has to send back Oracle system
Issues is, they are not recieving success message.
Is Message Process rule wont return any value or message from MII transaction to other system?
Please help me on this

Hi Praveen
The WSMessageListener HTTP Service does not process the incoming message immediately.
What you have done in MII.
1. Created a MII Transaction with an Input Param type XML and an Output Param Type String.
2. Configure the Transaction in MII Processing Rules for WSMessageListener server.
3. Sent XML Message to URL http://<IP Address>/XMII/Illuminator?Service=WSMessageListener&mode=WSMessageListenerServer&NAME=Shop_order_data&XacuteLoginName=<username>&XacuteLoginPassword=<passwrd>
What happens in the system:
1. MII WSMessageListener receives the XML Message and stores the message in MII DB.
2. It invokes the processing rule and runs the transaction that was configured for it.
3. Message status is set to Success.
This means that MIIWSMessageListener does not run the Transaction immediately upon receiving the XML Message. Hence the response of the Transaction output is not sent to the sender application. The reason for this is that the WSMessageListener service is treated as an asynchronous service where the sender does not care about the response of the receiver.
If this is not what you want then you can run your transaction in one of the following ways:
1. http://<host:<port>/XMII/Runner?Transaction=<project/folder/trx name>&OutputParameter=<paramname>
2. with a Soap Message to the URL http://<host>:<port>/XMII/SoapRunner/<Transaction full path>. Please note that this service expects a SOAP Message and not just an XML payload.

    I have read in an old post that, in the process rule, the activesync offer a user view variable, but I don't receive nothing, and then I need to do a getview and then pass this view to the
    reprovision rule. This don't work.
    how is the correct process to reprovision from a process rule, and when we need to create a new user, from where I could get a userview for the provision process?

  • Processing Rule Editor question

    Hi Everyone,
    Hopefully I didn't miss a solution to this problem when I was searching the forums.  Anyways I was wondering how I can create some sort of regular expression in the Processing Rule Editor's "Message Name" field to catch and categorize all messages with the same prefix in their name.
    For example, all of my test messages have some prefix followed by the date and time of their entry into the system as their Message Names to uniquely identify them.  Let's say I'd like all my messages prefixed with "MSG" to be categorized by some rule.  When creating the rule I would expect to be able to place a regular expression such as "MSG*" in the "Message Name" field in order to have the rule catch all messages who's name starts with "MSG" and categorize them but this is not the case.
    If anyone knows how to do this could you please help me with the expression's syntax?

    I guess you are now using the XMIIMESSAGELISTENER explained in your last post. You have to select a unique name in the processing rule, entering a regular expression will not work.
    As a solution to this, define a rule with a fixed name that calls a transaction. Inside the transaction you can define the logic to process only messages that fulfil certain criteria from values inside your message.

    Every email I'm receiving as of this morning is accompanied by an email from [email protected], entitled "Internet Mail - Problem during delivery processing"
    Is this an issue on the Mac server side or a problem with my Mail app?

    My Wife and I both have an Ipad and an iPhone, I use an iMac and my wife a MacBook Pro.
    I have this problem with all my devices.
    My wife has NOT got this problem.
    We both use a [email protected] email acount.
    Just compared the settings:
    For "Incoming server" I have p03-imap.mail.me.com
    My Wife has p02-imap.mail.me.com .... and has not got this problem.
    I have setup a new rule for incoming mails (for the meantime):
    move all incoming emails from [email protected] to trash and delete it.
    Works fine for now,......until APPLE deals with the problem.

  • MTS problem, excessive oracle processes in the OS part.

    Hi,
    yesterday I changed internet banking connections to MTS (shared server)
    So, I changed the system to mix architecture (dedicated & shared both)
    DB version is 10.2.0.3
    OS version is AIX 5.3.5
    Number of dispatchers are 2, each with 250 connections.
    Shared_Servers=10
    Max_Shared_Servers=40
    After 3 hours, I take the following error, no oracle process can be forked after in the OS.
    At the time of problem, # of oracle processes in the OS was about 4000,
    which is the OS limit for max processes a user can create.
    But the number of sessions in the v$session was about 2000.
    I also observed that SMON process turned to ZOMBIE (defunct) process.
    It seems that MTS opens more oracle processes in the OS or turned some oracle processes to zombie.
    But how can it be, since MTS does not create any new oracle processes except shared server process
    in the OS.
    When I turned back to dedicated server, everything works fine, that is, database sessions and OS oracle prosesses are almost the same.

  • "Problem during delivery processing" why 3 responses every mail?

    I hope someone can help with this mail problem which started on 14th February. It seems similar to problems reported with Apple mail on 7th March 2013.
    This only occurs with one of our iCloud email accounts. It shows up on iPhones, iPads, and MacBook for the same apple email account. Another separate apple mail account does not have this problem!
    Every time an email is received for this iCloud email account, 3 additional emails are received from [email protected] with subject "Problem during delivery processing".
    Could anyone please advise on how best to resolve this problem?

  • Problem during delivery processing

    I have forwarded my mobileme e-mail to my gmail and I have been using it without any problems for some time. But recently every time I receive e-mail from apple (for itunes purchases, find my iphone notifications, etc) I immidiately receive a secondary e-mail like the one below:

    My Wife and I both have an Ipad and an iPhone, I use an iMac and my wife a MacBook Pro.
    I have this problem with all my devices.
    My wife has NOT got this problem.
    We both use a [email protected] email acount.
    Just compared the settings:
    For "Incoming server" I have p03-imap.mail.me.com
    My Wife has p02-imap.mail.me.com .... and has not got this problem.
    I have setup a new rule for incoming mails (for the meantime):
    move all incoming emails from [email protected] to trash and delete it.
    Works fine for now,......until APPLE deals with the problem.

    Hi All, since 6:52 Uk time I have received email notifications for all emails that I have received.
    The email notification is 'Problem during delivery processing'
    The reason given 'Error in sieve filter: Notify mailto:recipient is not a valid address'
    Then 'Delivery processing continued in spite of errors'
    So Im getting all email, but a notifictions for all of them. Is this happenring to anyone else. Is it a known issue? Any help greatfully recived.

    Having the same issue. Started this morning. There is something at the end about Proofpoint virus protection. Not just one email. Several. They all have this at the end. Several emails from the county where I live. Got the messages but also this. Anyone know about this?
    Apparently, I got an email from my mail order prescription service at my .mac address, but didn't get it. This is what it says at the end:

    Hi,
    I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
    1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
    2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
    If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
    3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
    4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
    You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
    If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.

    I have a problem while transporting transfer rules in BW 3.5.
    I have just checked the box for conversion to Transfer structure / Transfer rules of an infoobject and tried to transport it to quality. I got this below error message:
    The selections   T ZBW_ZBILLRATP_TEXT_BA specify more than one DataSource
    Diagnosis
    You need to select an individual DataSource based on the selection conditions

    Source System =
    Object Version = T
    Transfer Structure = ZBW_ZBILLRATP_TEXT_BA
    although the select event is not unique.
    Procedure
    Check the objects to which the selection applies.
    Reference to transfer structure ZBW_ZBILLRATP_TEXT_BA not available. No activation possible.
    Message no. RSAR436
    Diagnosis
    Transfer structure ZBW_ZBILLRATP_TEXT_BA should be transported into this system.
    However, no DataSource mapping refers to this transfer structure.
    System response
    The transfer structure was not activated or deleted.
    Procedure
    Ensure that DataSource mapping, with a reference to the transfer structure ZBW_ZBILLRATP_TEXT_BA is on the same transport request. Use the transport connection to create a consistent request.
    Can any one provide me details of how to overcome this issue. I tried transporting all related objects.

    Hi Lakshmi,
    Befor Transporting the Transfer rules, make sure that you are transporting the Active Versions of your Datasource & DataTarget between which your transfer rules exist.
    Also make sure that the Transfer rules are active before it is transported.

    I have a scenario where i  need to execute a script in File receiver adapter.
    problem: "i send an xml file to target system, but as long as there is a .xml file in the directory, it should not send.
    He should wait and send only then when there is no .xml file in the directory."
    Is that possible with "run operating system command before" in the receiver adapter or i need for this issue BPM?

    File receiver adapter has a "Run Operating System Command Before/After Message Processing" feature, so you could use it for such purpose :

    I think it could be better to use a script than using BPM (it will save resources at XI level).

  • How to stop message processing based on validation?

    Hello experts,
    I have a requirement to stop message processing in the graphical mapping based on validation results. Here is the scenario - messages are translated using graphical mapping and sent to the target system. An RFC lookup will be done to ECC to determine if the data in the message is good. If the lookup returns a negative result, message processing should be stopped right there.
    I guess we can throw an exception from the mapping to force a failure and stop further processing, but that will cause the message to show up as failed on SXMB_MONI and cause alert emails to be sent out in PROD. Another option will be to supress creation of the root node itself, but I think the message will then fail in the subsequent "call adapter" step if the target schema has a min occurence of 1 for the root node (as in the case of IDocs).
    Is it possible to do it without using BPM?

       If your requirement, to stop message processing without sending an alert?
    If yes, then you can have a alert rule, not to trigger alerts on a failure (And to raise an exception based on the result from RFC loookup).
    If your requirement is not to make the message fail, then you have to go for the ccBPM route.

  • Sequential Message Processing in IDOC - HTTPS scenario

    Hi Experts,
    I have an IDoc - PI - HTTPS scenario. One of the requirement is to maintain the data sequence while processing.
    This means that the sequence in which the IDocs are received by PI, should be the same sequence in which it should be posted to the URL from PI interface.
    Incase, there is a connectivity issue with the URL at any point of time, then the data should be queued sequentially in PI and once the issue is resolved, the data should again process in sequence.
    Please let me know which is the best approach to achieve this?

    We opted to go for IDOC Serialisation. With this, we achieved the sequential data processing through the PI interface.
    I did check a blog in SDN which had step by step instruction to achieve this, but cannot find it now
    Anyways, will give you a idea on wat needs to be done at PI and SAP R/3 end.
    At PI end:
    Using SE16 as the transaction, We need to create a entry in the table: IDXQUEUE
       a.PORT - (SAP R/3 system port)
       b.CLIENT - (SAP R/3 system client)
       c.MESTYP - (IDoc MSGTYP)
       d.QUEUEID - (Random Queuename, for eg: EOIO_PI_Interface)
    At SAP R/3 end:
    1. Create a function module. The QUEUEID created in SAP PI should be mentioned in this function module. <this basically indicates which PI queue will handle this message>
    2. Using transaction we85, create a queue processing rule (which would call the function module)
    3. In the partner profile, for the particular Idoc type, queue processing option must be enabled. And the queue processing rule (as defined in step 2 above) should be specified here.

  • Message processing failed in XML parser

    This is IDoc to file integration. When I test (WE19), I did not put any value in the 'Quantity' field (which is 6 characters long).In the message mapping I put a condition to see if the value is empty then put zero, and it did not give any error. I have given all the fixed field lengths in the file adapter but still getting the following error:
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'java.lang.Exception: Column value 'TABLERO DE CONTROL' too long (>6 for 2. column) - must stop', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)': java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'java.lang.Exception: Column value 'TABLERO DE CONTROL' too long (>6 for 2. column) - must stop', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)'

    When I enter value in the 'Quantity' field, the integration works fine. The value 'tablero de control' is the 'Description'  which is the next field. My Content Conversion is like;
    Field1, Field2, Quantity, Description
    (where Field1 and Field2 are mandatory and Quantity and Description are optional)
    When I provide all 4 values, the integration work just fine, when I do not provide 'Quantity' it fails.
