Problem in testing webservice.

Hi Folks ,
I have a SOAP to RFC scenario. I created wsdl from my integration directory and trying to test it using Altova xml spy .. But I am getting error
http error : couldnot post file .
My soap request is like

In Overview of service in SOAMANAGER you have
Open porttype WSDL document
Open WSDL document for selected binding
Open Web Service navigator for selected binding
The WSDL is a xml file so if you click second link is correct you get xml page. If you want to test the service giving it an input you have to click on third link.
For what about no entry in WSADMIN, I am facing this issue too, but I think it's normal because the complete management of the web service should migrate to SOAMANAGER, being obsolete WSADMIN.

I'm facing a problem while testing a webservice for the BAPI BUPA_CENTRAL_GET_DETAIL. I have opened the Web Service Home page, and I get no error. I fill in the input values and then when I send the request, I get back an error which says "Authority check failed"

Problems calling a Webservice

I'm having some problems calling a Webservice. I've created a deployable proxy and a client bean and from this bean I've generated a Webservice. When I test this Webservice the actual webservice call is succesfull but I get the following response from the Webservice:

As you can see there is some HTML code in the response. This HTML code causes problems for the SAP parser as it expects a SOAP:Envelope and not some HTML junk.
I've looked up what the properties mustunderstand and actor do in a SOAP header and they seem to be optional properties. On the Webservice side the SOAP parser unfortunately seem to think these properties are mandatory.
There's probably two ways to solve this problem. The first way is to ask the guys who host this Webservice to change it are their side. The other option is to add these properties to the SOAP header on the SAP side....which brings me to my question: Is there any way to add these two properties to the SOAP header before the deployable proxy calls the Webservice?

as far as I understand your post, the HTML code is the body of the response.
If it is so, it is not a correct SOAP-message. A SOAP header is inside of the envelope and not outside of it.
So, it is not very a big surprise, that the parser don't like this.
Aside from the form of a SOAP-message, it is not even a XML-message, which must begin with <?xml...

Not able to test webservice through enterprise manager

Hi All,
We have deployed few composites. Deployment was successful. but when we try to test the service using "Test" button in the composite. we are getting an error below the WSDL URL in the Test Webservice page.
Following is the error:
Either the WSDL URL is invalid or the WSDL file is not valid or incorrect. - oracle.sysman.emas.sdk.wsm.WsmServiceAccessException: Cannot locate service: oracle.wsm.policymanager.IPolicyService
I'm able to open the WSDL in browser. We dont have any OWSM policlies set for any of the composites.
When i use the WSDL URL in a partner link, the operation and other properties getting loaded, i/p and o/p elements of the WSDL also getting retrieved.
SOA version: 11.1.1.6
This is applicable for all composites we deployed.
Please help us in resolving this issue.

In my case issue got resolved after I added java.naming.provider.url
Steps:
Log into EM then select the domain in use and use the following the menu path, WebLogic Domain> Web Services > Platform Policy Configuration
From there, select the Policy Accessor tab., then click Add to add a property.
In the Add Property window, specify the following values:
In the Name field, enter this property: java.naming.provider.url
Value: t3://<hostname1>:<port_number>,<hostname2>:<port_number>

I am facing problem in testing of EBS
User has raised an issue that, they want to change the description of House bank account ID.I changed the account ID in the T>code FI12, but my problem that how can I show them the test cases it is required in my client process is that whenever we changed some thing we need to give test case for the same.
While raising the issue they have mentioned that they getting the wring description in EBS
I have tried in FEBA but i dont how to test and i dont even have existed bank statement in Development

As the data is not available for you you can proceed ahead as suggested above or ask the clients to copy the data from Prioduction or Quality environment to test system to show the test case.

Port problem when testing bsps (sso)

I am facing a problem when testing bsps or wd4a.
When testing an app, first of all the sicf service "myssocntl" gets called. This service listens under port 50077. But when testing the bsp app port 57700 gets called.
Any ideas, where I can customize these ports?

I experienced similar behavior (neither Keychain Access nor Safari would start, Chrome cannot access https sites, etc.). It got fixed by following instructions in this article:

Basically remove the ~/Library/Application Support/Ubiquity and restart. OSX will create a new one with the right permisions.

Merging WSDL and sending it to a test webservice

I have four wsdl to merge into a single wsdl and import into XI and use
it a source data type. The wsdl contains different namespaces in it.
Could anyone guide me the procedure step-by-step to do it. Any help is really appreciated. Can I send the merged wsdl through XML spy to a test webservice and test it. How can i create a test webservice to test it.

Problem in testing the Webservice interface?

I created and deployed one webservice in the Xi system and SAP communication done using the RFC.

Is your requirement to make full end-to-end test or make a simulation?
If you need simulation only, then PI's functionality available in Runtime Workbench and Test Confiuration tool available in Integration Builder and mentioned by Abhishek is OK.
In case the requirement is to make end-to-end test, I would suggest to use external SOAP client software in order to generate SOAP requests and send them to PI. Please advise why XML Spy and soapUI do not suit you? Actually, you can use any software which can generate SOAP request, send it to the specific endpoint and handle response.

Problem In using Webservice Tester

Hi All,
I am not able to test my webservice using webservice tester. I have created a simple webservice which takes a string as a parameter and return it as response.
When i am using webservice tester the url field is coming blank an it request side too i am not getting any option of putting my input. Also the send request button is coming disable.
I am using jdev 11g drop 306. and for creating webservice i am using annoted methods like @webservice and @webmethod

If your requirement is to bind two nodes to the same table, than it is not possible. You can bind the nodes to two different tables and change the visiblity of the tables whenever required.

Error while testing webservice using SOAP

While i was testing my published webservice using soap-ui it gave me following error,

- Is the webservice configured to run in the correct application pool? -YES
-The user under which application pool is running have the read/write permission on the %temp% folder.-Dont Know how to check
-In IIS,Check the identity of the application pool on which Web service is running and make sure that the user is the member of both “IIS_WPG” and “BizTalk Isolated host users”.
-DONT Know how to check

You mentioned you checked that the webservice is configured under correct application pool. you can find the user under which the application pool is configured (open iis- > select application pools -> find out the "Identity column" to
know the user for your application pool.

Go to run -> type "%temp%" -> Go one step back -> Right click to the folder -> Properties -> Security -> check the application pool user is present under "Group or user names"

-DONT Know how to check
Refer How to Add Service Account to the IIS_WPG Group to add your application pool user under IIS_WPG. Also similar activity to add your service account to "BizTalk Isolated
host users" if it is local groups. Or Ask your network support team if "BizTalk Isolated host users" is domain group.
Please Help me in guiding me in the last two points
and if there are any other solutions for this..

thanks for your reply. I did read your post in other thread that you pointed.
I had searched quite a lot on this issue and had idea that it might be due to firewall settings..
but sadly, I don't know the solution. Well, you have seen the entire code that I wrote and exception too, Could you suggest me a way out? or any specific firewall setting or a workaround?

Error testing Webservice in XMLSPY

I have a scenario Webservice -> XI -> Proxy Synchronous.
I have created the webservice, and the URL is correct. I have a problem in the proxy because is expecting the Message Type and in the XML appears the name of Message Interface.
I have the next XML in XI:

The text is in spanish, but I the problem is that R/3 is waiting MConsult (Message Type) despite of I_Consult (Message Interface).
In R/3 I am using the sentence INPUT-MConsult-FIELD1, so I understand that is waiting MConsult in the calling, but I don't understand why when I create the SOAP request in XMLSPY it doesn't appear.
I think all is created correctly in XI including SOAP adapter, and when I define the Webservice i put the message I_Consult with his namespace and I download the WSDL created.
When I test the WSDL in XMLSPY I have this error.
Do you know if I have to do some changes in the WSDL in XMLSPY before to send the SOAP request? I have no access to the WSNAVIGATOR so I can't do the test in this part.

Hello guys,
now is running, because I have created a message mapping.
But theoretically if the message from the webservice is the same that goes to the proxy it wouldn't be necessary to create the mapping isn't it?
I don't understand why if I create the mapping is running, and if I do without it is not running because the message send by SOAP is the same and the message types are identhical. Somebody can explain it?
