Problem Posting a Group of Calendars

HI, I have 4 people that I keep calendars for. Each person has a different color on my ical so I know what each person is doing. The task does not identify the person on my ical at all, just the color.
When I publish the Group, the color for each person goes away and all the calendars are Blue. Is there a way to publish a Group Calendar to my co-workers so they can see the 4 colors too? I have OSX 10.4.9 and I have ical 2.0.5. Thanks.

unfortunately no, you are limited to that one color when you publish a calendar group.

How to Subscribe to Outlook Calendar in Group WIKI Calendar

Ok, here's what I've been trying to figure out how to do for about a year. Our small office uses PC's with Outlook as our Calendar. We are not on Exchange Server. We are using Mac Mini Snow Leopard Server ver. 10.6.8. I'm trying to figure out a way so that our office can look at one central calendar and see individual calendars for each of the users. I don't want all the users to have their events/appointments on 1 calendar because then you can't tell whose event/appointment it is.   I've setup a Group WIKI and have activated the Calendar and have a group consisting of the attorneys assigned to the Group. Outlook 10 can publish its calendar as to a webdav server. In fact I'm able to subscribe to my Outlook Calendar once its been published in the iCal client on the Snow Leopard server. It updates in both directions when changes are made. The problem is that when I go into the Group WIKI Calendar, although I can create calendars there and then PUBLISH them so they can be Subscribed to in either iCal or in Outlook 2010, I can't figure out how to SUBSCRIBE to a webdav/caldav calendar, ie. the Outlook 2010 that's been published, in the WIKI Calendar. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the specific intricacy of your situation (a hosted domain at Outlook.com), and so do not know if indeed that is causal to your issues. But perhaps a workaround will be useful? For example, if you indeed use your hosted domain for your email, but create a true Outlook.com account for the use of only Calendar and Contact synchronization, then that might work?

For your email account, you simply use the domain they are hosting, and for Contacts/Calendar, the true Outlook.com account that you create for that purpose.

Issue with syncing bblink calendar + group events calendar into outlook 2003

Had a BB Curve OS 7, and I was able to sync my default calendar AND my BBM groups calendars in one single sinc.
Now, I have the Q5 OS 10.2.1 and I can not find for the life of me, how to sync my device calendars (personal and BBM Group Events calendars) onto my pc using Outlook 2003.
Called my carrier and they don't even know what to tell me. Can someone point me in some direction please!
PS I would also accept a solution using a cloud calendar (Gmail, Outlook.com...) I just want ALL calendars to be visible from my PC with one combine calandar view.
2014-02-22 UPDATE: Just installed BBLink 1.2.3, same issue.... No solution yet!

The OS7 calendar sync ONLY sync's the default calendar. Unless you merged your BBM group calendar entries (you would have had to move them to the default calendar using a special, and little known, documented procedure) into your default calendar you couldn't have had the BBM group calendar sync'd.
Regardless, the BBM group calendars will not sync to Outlook in BB10.

How do i manually post a item at PL30. I have created a item as statistical balance without breakdown.When I post Item without CU it does not allow me to post and If I post with CU

Is it possible to have parent cu12 in both the groups, can I create cu12 in parent as well as child group. If this is possible then my problem gets solved.
What I can do is I can post in group 4000 at pl 30 if cu12 is there as well and i hope in that case 4001 will
not be updated.
I need a solution such that when I post in group 4000 for cu12 then it should not post/update group 4001.
Right now when I post to group 4000 for cu12 for invest. it updates group 4001. Due to which consolidation
reports of 4001 gets disturb.

Creator cannot edit or remove posts in group chat ...

I am the creator of a very active group chat on Skype. When I upgraded to 6.3.0.582, I lost my ability to edit or remove other users' posts. The options are simply gone.
When I rolled back to an earlier version of Skype for Mac (6.0.0.2946), the edit and remove options return. I am also still able to edit and remove posts in Windows (6.1.0.129), so this seems to be a bug unique to Skype 6.3.0.582 for Mac, and not a problem with the group settings.

I was specifically looking for a way to chat with a group of people AND eliminate the possibility of bad posts and pirates etc. I wanted 1. to be able to remove a person from the chat, and 2. to be able to delete or remove a post if needed from the chat.
In my opinion, these two functions are necessary to run a group smoothly. Otherwise, it is too risky! So now where do we go? FB....we closed down our chat for this very reason. To have more control over the chat. We came to Skype. But alas, they are not any more helpful. Maybe it is because the government wants to spy on us. So we can't go back and destroy evidence! That is the ONLY reason that would make this decison by Skype make sense. Otherwise it makes absolutely NO SENSE at all, especially if they once had both of these features and not took them away!!!
But that leaves us without the functions we need. : (

Problem with checkbox group in row popin of table.

In table row popin I have kept Check Box Group.I have mapped the texts property of checkbox group to the attribute which is under the subnode of the table.the subnode properties singleton=false,selectioncardinality=0-n,and cardinality=0-n.
if there are 'n' number of records in the table.each record will have its own row popin and in the row popin there is check box group.
the check box group in the row popin belongs to that perticular row.
but the checkboxegroup values in row popins of all the rows are getting changed to the row which is lead selected.
The same scenario (table in the row popin is showing the values corresponding to its perticular row and all the table values in popin are not getting changed to the one lead selected in the main table)is working fine with the table in place of checkbox group in row popin with datasource property of table binded to the subnode
I cant trace out the problem with checkbox group in place of table.
Please help me in this regard.I have to place check box group in place of table in row popin.

I have done the same thing successfully with normal check box ui element. Try using check box in your tabel cell editor instead of check box group.

I posted this question a while ago and didn't receive any responses but there are a lot of people who have viewed it and 10 have said they have the same question so I thought I would update you that I added my nanny to my exchange server account (created an email for her) and I send all invites to that email address and they work. So sending invites from an exchange server account to a non-exchange server account apparently is a bug so to solve it, get on an exchange server I guess.

Just an update to this issue- I just found out that the system is pointing to KBS when posting the
exchange rate difference in group currency upon IR, hence, PO account
assignment is adopted. I'd like to rephrase my question- is there any
way we can change SAP behaviour such that it will point to other
transaction key (e.g. KDG) other than KDM? Bottomline is we want it
charged to other GL account not the one in the PO.

Share a group of calendars?

I've been working with iCal to create several groups with many different calendars within each group. Think three groups, each with about fifteen calendars. When i try to share a group of calendars with someone, iCal consolidates my many calendars into one. I have so many calendars that it becomes hard to understand when it's formatted this way. Is there an easy way to share groups of calendars without publishing each calendar individually?
I need to share these calendar groups with many people, and sending out 45 emails to 20 different people telling them to subscribe to each individual calendar doesn't make sense.
If iCal can't do this, does anyone know of a program or service that can? Google Calendar doesn't have groups of calendars like iCal does.

Dan, when you say "click on .Mac", where should one do that?
My iSync icon on the menu bar does not have that option. My .Mac preferences has four "pages" or "tabs" - Account, Sync, iDisk, and Advanced. I can not find any place to specify individual calendars.
Under Sync, I can only choose to sync all calendar data or none at all. Under Advanced, I can select my computer, click "Reset Sync Data", then I can select to replace all data or just Calendar data from the computer to the .Mac or vice versa.
Is there another place to make this selection?

Grouping MobileMe calendars

The new MobileMe calendar is nice for collaboration.
But there is one thing that really annoys me:
In iCal all calendars from other MobileMe accounts, that I have subscribed to, are listed under my MobileMe account. If these calendar have the same name, they become indistinguishable as there is no reference, who is the owner of these calendars.
I would have expected, subscribed calendar are listed under the MobileMe account of the owner.
Unfortunately calendar groups don't work either with subscribed calendars, in fact, they don't even work with my own MobileMe calendars, but only with local (non-synced) calendars.
Has anybody found a workaround or plist hack to group MobileMe calendars in iCal, especially those you have subscribed to?

I'm having a very similar issue, too. Tried the beta and did not like it or the current restrictions it places (no groups, slow syncs). So when I deactivated it and reopened the current iCal, it does not show any of these in the iPhone's Calendar app. It shows other subscribed and the Exchange calendars, but no MobileMe ones.
I, too, restarted the MobileMe settings on the iPhone and did a full replacement from the Mac desktop over the MobileMe versions. The calendars all show up correctly on the Mac and the MobileMe browser versions, but still no calendars on the iPhone.
I know w/ 3rd party apps, you can at least remove the app and all its preferences so a fresh install can be done. However, w/ Calendar & MobileMe being core elements on the iPhone, I don't know how to further reset this app...short of a full-blown iPhone wipe. Not in the cards!!

Problems Syncing with Outlook and Calendar

We are trying to roll out outlook 2007 together with outlook connector 7.2u1 at patch level 125361-03. Installation goes ok. But we have a major problem with Calendars.
Having used Sun Mail & Calendar for years our users subscribe to a number of calendars, these show up in outlook in the left hand pane and are selectable to view, which syncs the calendar into outlook - all well and good.
Now the major problem, when syncing another persons calendar to view availability etc, all the reminders get sent to the user viewing the calendar as well as going to the owner - where we have users that subscribe to around 20-30 calendars thats alot of other peoples reminders that pop up on the screen !
Any help greatfully received.

Never had any issues except with the latest download that tell is doing some sync over the air with ICloud and that I can go to my Iphone and change that. So far I have not been able to sync my Iphone calendar with my outlook calendar for tge whole week

Publishing a GROUP of calendars with different colors.

When I publish a group of calendars on the internet for my (sorry) PC friends to look at on a browser, all the calendars merge and appear blue, which makes scanning the calendar much more difficult. Is there any way to retain each calendars unique color? Thanks. Ken

Unfortunately the individual calendars will lose color coding and be displayed in the same (blue) color on the web page.
Submit iCal Feedback to make your needs known to Apple.
