Problem refreshing the classes
I have problem refreshing the class with Tomcat 4.1 Server. I make changes in my class and they just don't reflect unless I restart the server. I don't want to refresh the server all the time. Is there any setting by which I can tell the server not to the version ffrom the memory. I even deleted that class from the classes directory but still the server would not know it.

Master table / detail table: Problem refreshing the content
Hi,
I have a Master table/detail table on my page. When I add a new row to the master or detail table, the new row is inserted in the database, but not shown in the ADF Tables on the page. After restarting the OC4J the ADF Tables show the correct data, including the new rows.
While dropping the collection on my page there were one methodIterator and two accessorIterators created.
In several tutorials the solution for the refresh problem is to change the chacheResult parameter of the methodIterator to false. But this causes in "No row found for rowKey:null" errors.
An other solution should be to create a new invokeAction with the id "tableRefresh" and the corresponding RefreshConditions. This doesn't helps, too.
So how could I solve this problem? I want to update/refresh the master and detail table, after I inserted a new row.

Sorry, but I forgot to say, that I am using Jdev 10.1.3.1, Toplink, ADF and EJB3.
I think I will give some further informations about the scenario. I created the m/d table by drag-and-droping the object out of the data control palette on site A. Each row stores a goLink item, which navigates to a new page B. After creating and saving the new entry the user navigates back to the page with the m/d table (page A). Storing the new entry is handled by an action in the page B managed bean.
Now the question: How could I re-execute in page B backing bean the iterator which is stored in page A? Could this be handled by an invokeAction? Or is it possible to get access to the iterator used and stored on another page (definition)?

Problem refreshing the Tree Component icons

I'm using the Tree, adding the nodes dinamically, following the example: http://www.netbeans.org/kb/55/vwp-databasetree.html
This Tree shows the access permissions from the users, and show a red icon on the itens without permissions and a green icon on the itens with permissions.
In the nodes, I add an action that change this permissions when the user click.
If the permission is Ok on the clicked item, the action remove this permission and vice-versa.
The action is working fine, but the problem is the refresh of the tree after click. The icons stay like before the click. It is refreshed only if I navigate to another page and return after. Then the icons are showed correct.
In the method that add the nodes, I select the node icons like this:

When the user clicks on an icon, is the page submitted to the server and the page redisplaying itself?
Is the tree's clientSide property cleared (that is, false).
Is the browser caching the images? What if you hit a Shift-Reload? -
Problem refreshing the parent page when closing a modal window.
I have page that opens a modal window from a report link column. In the modal window I want to be able to make my changes and press an Apply button so that the modal window is closed and the parent page is refreshed to show the modified details in the report. In Firefox all works well but in IE I get the error message ‘Window.opener.location is null or not an object’ .
When I comment out window.opener.location.href=window.opener.location.href; the modal window closes without error but I want to refresh the parent page with changes made in the modal window.
I’m afraid my java script is very limited (the code is based on other peoples examples.)

Thanks for your help. I think I've sorted it using your first suggestion doing a refresh in the parent page, I just didn't know how at the time.
What I've got in the parent window after the call to the modal window is the reload window.location.reload(); and in the modal window I close it using window.close(); The down side being the refresh happens if I use my 'Apply changes' or 'Cancel' button but I can live with that for now.
It seems to work in IE and firefox but as I say most of what I'm doing is cobbling together using other peoples code without really understanding exactly what it does. Anyway thanks for your help, sound like I should look into JQUERY when I have time.

due to classloader hierarchies, classes on the system classpath can not
be refreshed (HotDeployment). If you want to use HotDeployment, you will
have to load your application (and classes) through a WAR or EAR file.

Class Refresh for Class mapped through Relation not Query
We have Class A which is root of Domain Object Tree for our Application.
We have Class B. Relationship for A -> B is one to one with Use Indirection turned on.
Back reference (B->A) is also one to one with Use Indirection turn on.
When we try to do getB() on Class A (i.e. A.getB()). Query is fired only on first
access call to get(). We have a query to get Class A which always refresh A
but not B. We tried setting Caching Policy - Always refresh on Class Descriptor for
Class B. But still the query is not fired on object B when A.getB() is called.
I need to class to be always refresh as this can get added on deleted outside
Toplink Application. Hence is always need to refresh the Class B.
What should We do.Refreshing in TopLink is based on queries. When you are accessing getB(), you are simply resolving a Java reference. (ie A.b). If B must always be refreshed I would recommend not mapping A.b attribute. Instead getB() should always issue a refreshing query.

Problem in refreshing the combo box on selection of an item in another comb
I have a situation where values to be displayed in 2nd combo box depends on the selection of an item from the 1st combo box.
Problem observed:
The 2nd combo box is not getting refreshed if the selected item from the 1st combo box has mapping to more than 10 items.
for ex:
A - AA, AB, AC, AD, AE, AF
B - BA, BB, BC, BD, BE, BF, BG, BH, BI, BJ, BK, BL, BM, BN, BO, BP

Problem in refreshing the data of the UI element Table
Hi Experts,
I am having a problem.
I have a screen which displays list of variants in table ( variant name , variant desc )
I am binding the entries of table in WDDOINIT method.
but when i go back to selection screen view and come back to display variants view, WDDOINIT is not triggering.
Now if i move the code written in WDDOINIT method to WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, its not retaining the lead selection as the binding happens on every server round trip. if i check with First_time = 'X'. its same as that of having it in WDDOINIT method.
How do i overcome this problem of refreshing the table data.
any clue is highly appreciated.

According to your description, you can refresh the cube. But the users from a domain can't do this and get the above error. Right?
In this scenario, since you are the only user which can refresh the cube and the other user can't, it might be permission issue. Please re-grant the cube permission (Read/Write) for the domain users. See:
Grant cube or model permissions (Analysis Services).

Hi,
One of my user was unable to receive email from her desktop outlook, browser and her phone. On her outlook, the status of her exchange is disconnected. Then when she tried to access her OWA, this error prompted below "
"Something went wrong. We're having trouble getting to your mailbox right now. Please refresh the page or try again later. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk."
Her emails started coming in again after about 45minutes later. It happened twice today.

EPM ADD in problem in refreshing the report in SAP BPC 10.0 NW

In my report , i have dynamic local members ,EPM Copy range ,and context based filters as well as excel filters based on local members .
While refreshing the report the , the system is unable to refresh properly .If context is changed in the report the context member is getting fixed instead of dynamically changing.
I am using - Version 10.0 SP 14 Patch 3 .net 3.5

The first two gen properly with only one of each class showing up in the class list. Then, starting with the PTCommons files, javadoc lists each class twice in the class list. In the actual generated documentation, there is only one instance of the file.
Has anyone seen this before?
MaryIm having a problem with the variables.
Part of my original problem might be each pxi was in a different project. and i had two projects each its own IP. Using this method i did not know how use two differnt variables from two differnet pxi' s with the same program.

i tried a simpler way
i modified my project to include both ip addresses.
this way In my window environment my vi calls the variable. i made sure that i right clicked and chose the variables from the correct ip.
what i have is two status indicators and two update buttons.
the status tells me what stage the test is in
the update button is for the user at the end of the test he can update the screen with the results.
currently only my second pxi is updating status and also the update works

do i need to bind to source or use the single writer. im going to try to undo the single writer seems like this would could onluy better it but doesnt seem like its for my application.
i forgot to mention that the varibles i use were there listed as dependancies for the windows evirment have a blue question mark but show what is wrong.
where i have the variables under the ip address there are no blue question marks -
Help! how to refresh the JTable of a class from another thread class
there is an application, in server side ,there are two classes, one is a class called face class that screen a JTable, another is a class the a thread ,which accept socket from client, when it accept the client socket, it deal the data and insert into db,then notify the face class to refresh the JTable,but in the thread class I used JTable's revalidate() and updateUI() method, the JTable does not refresh ,how should i do, pls give me help ,thank you very much

In my aplication I have to show a tiff image in a ScrollingImagePanel.I aplly some efects on the image, for example rotate, flip, etc.
It is working fine, but I have problem to refresh the image in the same ScrollingImagePanel.The code compiles but I have exceptions when I run the method:

Thanks a lot people!The way to find out is look under project info again. If it gives you an option to switch to double layer disc, like it does with me. Then that signals that your computer can handle them. Thats what I remember reading anyway.
