Problem with classes generated with .classgen

When I run the sample app from the "Using XML in Oracle Database Applications, Part 2" that generates classes, the syntax is:
java SampleMain -root MYMAIN myfile.dtd
All the elements in myfile.dtd get a class built for them, but they also reference MYMAIN as a class. That is, things like:
public MYMAIN getDocument()
return (MYMAIN)super.getCGDocument();
I would have expected that classgen would have made a class called MYMAIN, but it did not. I'm very confused. Please help.
Thanks,

Check if you have MYMAIN in your
DTD file:

    Regards, Karin

    Hello,
I think I found something: the webapp.jar in adminui.war in LiveCycle.ear contains the FeatureBean class and is different once I have PDF Generator included. I tried to exchange this jar file. Now I have access again to the administrator webapp.
However, I get an error message when I try to convert images with Acrobat:
"The service to convert the document could not be looked up."
Can this have something to do with the exchange? It's a strange error message because Acrobat is installed together with PDF Generator.
Or could it be because I have also Adobe Reader 7.0.8 installed?
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
    Regards, Karin

    Hi,
ValueHolders are used by the JSF internal framework. To work with an object (attributes) in a managed bean you don't need to make it returning a value holder.
Create a POJO, provide accessor methods and register it as a managed bean. Access it from JSF with EL

  • Problem with WSDL generated with wscompile JAX-RPC

Ok well I have successfully built a Web Service (From an existing wsdl) and Static Stub Client they work perfectly. I then I tried to connect to it using a Delphi Web Service Client. The client cant change, the problem I am getting is it is requesting using the variable name I am using and the WSDL has String_1.
    Ie. it gives me:
unexpected element name: expected=String_1, actual= {targetNameSpace} [Variable Name]
I suspect this is a problem with how the WSDL is generated any suggestions?

THanks for the response, I originally used axis WSDL2Java. And only used the interface class. I think this is where my whole thing fell down. Although this worked with a static stub client that I used.
I have now generated the server side java files using wscompile and am l looking how to implement the server. It doesn't look like it has a implementation class there. And there isn't much information on how to do it.

  • Se development kit (jdk 6) problem creating class file with HelloWorldApp

I downloaded the java SE Development kit (JDK 6) with Java FX SDK and used the download manager from Java web site, the program downloaded the
jdk-6u13-javafx-1_1_1-windows-i586 icon to my desktop and the java program to
    C\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13
         Jre1.5.0_05
         Jre1.6.0_03
         Jre6
I then created a Java source file which was HelloWorldApp.java. and typed in the Hello World Code as requested I saved it to
    C\Documents and Settings\Compaq_owner\Java.
Then I try to compile my source file into a .class file and get stuck as I am told to open a command window which I do through, start\allprograms\accessories\command promt.
My command window says C:\Documents and Setting\Compaq_Owner>
I am told to compile my source file and I must change my directory in the command window to the directory where my file is located.
I type after the existing promt, cd C:\java and also tried, cd C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Java\HelloWorldApp. And was told both times the system cannot find the path specified
I typed dir after the promt and can see the java directory there in the list, but have I placed my HelloWorldApp File in the wrong place what is wrong please help I cannot get off the ground
    Kind regards pete

I type after the existing promt, cd C:\java and also tried, cd C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Owner\Java\HelloWorldApp. And was told both times the system cannot find the path specifiedcd stands for Change Directory. You want to change to the directory where your .java file is. You can not use a path that ends in a file because a file is not a directory.
You may need to put C\Documents and Settings\Compaq_owner\Java inside double quotes, "C\Documents and Settings\Compaq_owner\Java" I think newer versions of Windows will not require the double quotes.

  • Java 6u24 won't launch signed JNLP app with classes compiled with JDK 1.4.2

Anyone else having a problem launching a JNLP app compiled with Java 1.4 using Java 6u24 on the client? Anyone have a Java 1.4-compiled app that does launch with Java 6u24?
I am, and I have isolated the problem to some change in 6u24's java web start launching logic. The splash screen appears and then javaws just quits with no error. Trace shows it is not getting past checking of the first .jar. My JNLP app, fully signed with CA-issued certificate, when compiled with Java 1.4.2 will not launch on JRE 6u24 (or 6u25-b03). The same exact app launches perfectly fine when it is compiled with JDK 1.5 or 1.6. It is not a signing problem, though it is related to certificate checking logic or a concurrency flaw in javaws' AppPolicy and TrustDecider classes. It is not a host server or network problem as those have been varied with same results. It is not a specific .jar problem as I have varied what is the first .jar with same results. I have eliminated all other variables to find the only difference is what Java version the app is compiled with. Well, all but one other variable - I have not tried with apps other than mine.
My app is compiled with JDK 1.4.2 so I can still support older platforms. That requirement is going away soon but this is still a regression from 6u23 that is causing a big problem for at least this developer.

You can try to use the version of the jarsigner JDK 1.5 or later.
Has changed the management of files in META-INF.
So compile with 1.4 but sign with 1.5 or later

  • A tree-view in HTML page with nodes generated with java script in run time is not visible in the UI Automation Tree. Need Help

I have a HTML page with an IFrame. Inside the Iframe there is a table with a tree view

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    <treeview id="tv1"></treeview>

In UIA, i am able to traverse till the tree view but not able to see it.
I have used the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker Field to traverse the node from the desktop Automation.RootElement.
I tried to use AutomationElement.FromPoint method to check whether i am able to get that element. Fortunately i was able to get the automation element.
i tried to get the path to root element from the node element using the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker. I was able to get the parent path to the root element.
But trying the reverse way like navigating from root element to tree node, was not getting the element for me.
Please help me with suggestions or inputs to resolve this issue.

    Thanks Bernard,
It works fine with JInitiator but not working with
the JPI. For JPI what settings I need to do ??hi TKARIM and Bernard, i am having similar problem even with the Bernard's recommended setup. could you post the webutiljini.htm (i presume you are using config=test) ?
i am actually using jinitiator 1.3.1.28 with Oracle HTTP Server of OAS 10gR2) calling Forms Server 6i (f60cgi). After setting up according to Bernard's recommended setup steps, the java console showed that it loaded the icon jar file when it could not read the form, but it skipped the loading of the icon jar file once it read and started the form. How do we specify in the form to pick up the icon from the jar file instead from a directory ? Or do we need to specify ? Any ideas ?

  • Memory leak with swf generated by Xcelsius 4.5?

    Hello,
I've experienced some memory problems with swf generated with Xcelsius 4.5. I'm using Windows Vista and Internet Explorer 7.
I noticed that every time I refresh my dashboard using the F5 key, the memory used by the Internet Explorer process increases (or doubles). So, in case I need to refresh my dashboard many times, the memory used by the browser becomes definitely too much and compromises my system stability.
Does anyone have experienced this problem? Is this a memory leak? Is there a way to fix this problem?
    Thank you,

That's the trick who does it, thank you!

  • I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Is Apple aware of this problem? No longer supported?

My web page uses a Java Applet to allow my visitors to replay chess games; the Chess Viewer Deluxe applet was written by Nikolai Pilafov some time ago and has been working properly for some time (until recently). I don't monitor this part of my site regularly so I am not sure when it began to fail. On his web site [http://chesstuff.blogspot.com/2008/11/chess-viewer-deluxe.html] he has a link to check LiveConnect object functionality (which fails for OBJECT tags). His recommendation is to "seek platform specific support which might be available from the JRE developers for your platform".
I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Until I checked the LiveConnect object functionality, I was unable to identify the source of the console error messages. This does seem to be the smoking gun.
Is Apple aware of this problem? Are these classes no longer supported? Has anyone else had this problem? You can attempt to recreate the problem locally by going to my web page: http://donsmallidge.com/DonSmallidgeChess.html
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

  • Failed to Generate Wrapper Class Error With Postgresql

    Hello,
Sorry if this comes across twice, I posted it first through the Google Groups interface, but I haven't seen it show up on the dev2dev forum interface. So here it is again.
I've read the following threads that seem to be related to this
    question:
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/dc8f0a9ee03e9b9f/f0a70a673db3bb52
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/4f3b71c77dca30c4/4ed2e1c7b76a0c7b
I also followed the links in the second post ( I also found them via
Google as well ). I've been very sure the Postgresql JDBC driver is
definitely in the class path. I'm able to load it with Class.forName()
from a JSP page and then use DriverManager to get a connection that
works. So that definitely means the driver is found.
    What else can cause this?
The only really odd thing I am doing is running Weblogic on OS X,
10.3.7 with all the updates. I know that this Weblogic setup works
since I work on Oracle all day (using the provided Weblogic driver in
8.1SP3). Just when I try to create a Postgresql connection for testing
    our app against Postgresql.
I've tried it on Windows with Weblogic 8.1SP3 and it works, so I know
Weblogic is capable of using this driver.

What is going on at the place where this crashes? Is there a way find
out what class it really can't find?
    Thanks,
    Patrick

    Patrick,
    1. Could you try to test the postgress connection pool using
"Test Connection" on the pool set up page?
    2. Could you compare config.xml for broken and working installations
in part of the connection pool settings?

Sorry if this comes across twice, I posted it first through the Google Groups interface, but I haven't seen it show up on thedev2dev forum interface. So here it is again.

I've read the following threads that seem to be related to this
    question:
    http://groups-beta.google.com/group/weblogic.developer.interest.jdbc/browse_thread/thread/dc8f0a9ee03e9b9f/f0a70a673db3bb52

    My exact stacktrace is:

As Bern510 says, you'll need to recreate certificates that are valid. I suggest following our step-by-step publishing guide, which walks through how to obtain certificates correctly.
