Problem with Log and transfer using AVCHD

I was wondering if I can get help. I use a Canon Vixia HF S200 and FCP Version 6.0.6
I have produced projects on my MacBook Pro 2.33 Ghz Intel Core 2 using this process before with no problems in the past. This problem just started and I dont know what has changed. When I open the Log and Transfer (LT) window I can see and hear all my video from the AVCHD folder in my harddrive just fine, I can scrub with no prob.... But when I add clip to Queue I get an red circle with exclamation on my status.
I have changed the settings on the preferences to Apple intermediate Codec and the audio to plain stereo.. no luck there, the video still will not transfer to my bin.
I have made sure that the toggle Queue state was the little arrow instead of the paused icon...no luck there either... i got a message that says clip queued transferring but nothing is happening.
I will appreciate your help!

OK!!!!! This seriously cost me 1 day of my life that I'll never get back!!! lol
So I was able to bring the footage in on to Imovie...Yes, I was that desperate...deadlines do that!
Edited the entire project there...kinda sucked...
Then I had the bright idea that if I was able to bring the videos in to Imovie, on my local HD...than something may be wrong with my scratch disk that I use on FC...its a USB disk, specs =slow.
So I changed the scratch disk and yes "Davi S" for good measure I also deleted the Pref files.
So it working again...here I go editing on FC after I edited the entire project on Imovie...

Device not working with Log and Transfer in FCP

I did a little Google searching for information on your camera and it appears that it is a Standard Definition Camera that records in the MPEG-2 format.
Log and Transfer only works with High Definition material.
You will need to convert your video clips into a format that will work with FCP.
I know nothing about working in PAL, but you want to download an free application called MPEG Streamclip from
http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html
This application will convert your MPEG-2 files into a format that you can use directly in FCP.
Once you have converted the files to Apple DV-PAL, with the correct frame rate (25fps?) and field dominance you can either simply drag the converted files into FCP or import them using File > Import.

Problem with writing and reading using serialization
I am having a problem with writing and reading an object that has another object in it. The purpose of the class is to write a order that has multiple items in it. And there will be several orders. This is for an IB project, where one of the requirements is to utilize a hierarchical composite data structure. Kilik07ok i got reading to work to a certain extent... but the prob is i cnt seem to save my innerCustOrdObj proprly...when ever i look for a record using the gotorecordbtn, the outerobject, which is the orderDetails, seems to change but the innerCustOrdObj remains the same... heres the new code..

Problems with Pages and Numbers using iCloud Drive on early 2008 MacPro, Yosemite
One of my computers, an early 2008 MacPro running Yosemite, will NOT save Pages or Numbers documents to iCloud Drive from within those applications. I see the little iCloud Drive error badge next to the file name in Finder after I try to save. However, on the SAME computer I can save Pages and Numbers documents to a local drive (e.g., to my Desktop) and then use the Finder to drag the documents to iCloud Drive successfully. Another computer, a MacBook Pro running Yosemite, has no problems using iCloud Drive to create, edit and then save Pages and Numbers documents stored on iCloud Drive. I have tried "turning off" iCloud Drive for Pages and Numbers in System Preferences on the Mac Pro and then turning it back on to no effect. I have also logged out of iCloud Drive on all of my devices (which include two iOS devices) and then logging back in to ensure that I'm using the same login id on all devices, again with no apparent change.
Any suggestions for my next steps in attempting to solve this issue? Is there any way to get more information about precisely what type of error is occurring? Hovering over the badge only shows "Error".

JonFound a solution, but it is odd:
On the 2008 Mac Pro, I UNCHECK the boxes beside Pages and Numbers in System Preferences > iCloud > iCloud Drive > Options. Now Pages and Numbers will properly save edited documents to the appropriate folders on iCloud Drive.
Go figure ...

Yes, the APEX Listener works with Oracle XE. The APEX Listener is currently an Early Adopters release, and is available for download from here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/html/apex_listener_download.html. 7914, Problems with "Hold" and "Transfer" appearance
We have a site that is experiencing problems with the line appearances on the 7914s that the assistances have in order to view their manager's extensions.
The Line text label is configured for "Name + DN" so the assistant can keep track of the lines when they ring and the CID appears next to the LTL.
When the call is picked up via the 7914 and transfered, the line text label on the other 7914's in the office change from displaying the "Name + DN" to the name of the person who transfered the call.
This is very confusing for the staff who is trying to keep track of the calls and who they are for.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening, or alternatively, to have line text label appear ALL the time and never CID or the transfering partys name appear??
Thank you for any help or assistance with this!Any ideas? I'm guessing this is a "feature" that cannot be changed?

Invalid directory structure in Log and Transfer w/ AVCHD & stills
Using FCE 4.01 I have been happily using Log & Transfer for material from Panasonic AG-HMC70P AVCHD Camera. Last night I shot some material using an SD card that had some still photo files on it from a Nikon Coolpix. Now FCE won't read the SD card for L&T. Gives me the invalid drectory structure error message. I tried deleting the Nikon related files in Finder, but it still won't work. Any hope for getting these files into FCE somehow?
First, I would lock the SD card so it can't be erased or written to. I would also copy the entire SD card to a folder on a hard drive for backup purposes.
If the camera can play back the video clips, then you could try using one of these utilities to salvage your clips. You may have to try them to find out which one will work in your situation, as the directory has been corrupted in some way by using the SD card in two different cameras.

There are other conversion utilities if none of these work for you.
Unfortunately you have found out the hard way that you should never use an SD card in more than one, single camera/camcorder. But don't lose hope, one of these utilities should do the trick. As long as the camera can play back the video clips, there is a way to get them, even if you have to play back via the analog output and convert the analog out to digital. -
ERMS email push: problem with CAD and transfer
Dear Experts,
We implement ERMS email push scenario: email is received on SAPconnect, processed by ERMS, pushed to CMS (Genesys) and routed back to CRM. We are able to receive the action item and the email pops upon Accept; however:
1/ we are not able to access CAD submitted by CMS (the format of the CAD is correct)
2/ when we try to transfer the action item we get an error message: "CRM_IC_APPL_UI_CHMSG 023 Function cannot be executed; cannot retrieve contact"
We've done a bit of debugging and we've noticed there is no handling implemented for itemchannel = 'action' in IF_CRM_IC_EVENT_LISTENER~HANDLE_EVENT class CL_ICCMP_CCS:

It describes pretty well all the steps required to enable ERMS.
For ERMS Email Push you need to ensure your policy rule has two mandatory actions (you'd define them as last ones):
- Push Email to ICI
- Route Email
Note: that means that once the email is pushed to ICI it still needs to be dispatched within CRM i.e. the associated WF needs to be assigned somwhere.
In addition: the system neesd to know to which CMS the action item should be pushed. You need to define it in CRMM_BCB_ADM with CMS ID = ERMS_ACTION.

i am capturing the tape on a simple cannon camcorder but the tape was originally filmed on an HD camcorder - could this be the problem?

thanksHDV decks aren't cheap... figure about $3,000 US... MIght get someone with a deck to capture it for you or rent a Deck. If shot with a Canon or JVC camera, you need a JVC Deck. If shot with a Sony camera, you need a sony deck.

i have the new HCM150P Panasonic AVCHD camera. I have a duo core, 4 gig ram, external hd on usb 2.0 (new G Tech TB). When I shoot 1080p24 i have no problem with log and transfer, however, when I shoot 1080p30 my log and transfer has serious issues.
It ingests the video but with dropped frames, interspersed solid green frames and heavy stuttering. I tried the Perian pref fix but it didn't work. I got some good footage I'd sure like to use in the next project, please help with ideas...

CI am having the same problem....are you running an intel mac or pre-intel? I have a second G5 here that is intel based and Log and Transfer work flawlessly. Mine will work once I will see the footage and then after closing it the footage will not re-load.

FCE Log and Transfer with Canon Vixia HF11
I've recently upgraded FCE. Before the upgrade I had no problems with log and transfer. I have changed absolutely nothing on my camera or computer other than the upgrade. Now when I try to log and transfer the files are in the window but I get a red icon that indicates they won't download. Are there simple fixes here? I don't understand most of the terminology used on these sites. I just know that it worked before I upgraded and doesn't work now. Thanks
Go to the Log and Trnasfer window and find the Settings icon (a small gear wheel).
Change the audio from Martix to Plain Stereo and try again.

Log and transfer inevitably crashing FCP
We're editing a couple of music video in FCP 6.0.1.
we shot with an HMC150 so the clips are being uploaded from an SDHC in an AVCHD folder via log and transfer. the first video went relatively fine barring several problems with log and transfer (files not matching thumbnails, files corrupting, FCP crashing) the problems seem to be random and inconsistent, as issues like a misplaced thumbnail or corrupted import could be reopened and fixed so there was no way to tell exactly why each thing was happening. eventually it all subsided and work went smoothly.
went on to finish video number two and after several imports the log and transfer feature has decided to be the death of the project. Choosing log and transfer inevitably leads to an almost instant crash of FCP unless all drives it's reading from are disconnected. reinserting any drive means an instant crash. the drives are not corrupt and function just fine with any and all other programs, even imovie.
why in the world can't i get FCP to stay alive when i open the log and transfer? please help.Right - I've solved this one. It turned out that I'd recorded some 1080p50 footage. The mere presence of this on the card freaked Log & Transfer. The camera doesn't make it easy by hiding that footage when you're looking at 1080i25 (or whatever "normal" mode is).

I'm trying to import footage shot with these specs: (with FCP 7)
Panasonic P2
720p (960x720)
25 FPS
DVCPRO 720/25p codec
The clips open ok with log and transfer, but once they are transfered the footage has the following errors:
- Playback rate is wrong. Everything plays back at half speed.
- Audio drops out at exactly 2 seconds and 9 frames on every clip.
I tested a clip shot on the same camera in a different format (720/25PN camera native codec) and it transfered fine. No problems at all.
The error only happens with footage shot in 720/25P (DVCPRO).
Does anyone know what is going on with this?
ThanksIn the P2 Browser, there is a little sprocket drop down menu. Click on that and choose PREFERENCES. Uncheck REMOVE PULLDOWN and then try importing again.
