Problem with Portlet Backing Context

Hi,
I am having problem with Portlet Backing context.
I have on portlet and one JPF associated with this portlet.
Now in JPF action method i have Portlet Backing context object, using this object
i tried to get the previous portlet state using portletCtx.getPreviousWindowState().
But It always gives me null.
can anyone help me out ? its very urgent.
or you can suggest me anyother option to do this....

Problem with the back camera in iPhone 4 (Black Shadow)

Hi, I have a problem with the back camera. When turned on I can see a black shadow on one side and when I take the photo, appears in all the photos.
I searched on the Internet to resolve this problem but I haven't been successful. A friend told me that maybe it is dirt that was introduced into the cover but I don't think It's true.

Problem with OEM backing up on windows system.

I have a problem with backing up with a specific user.
I am currently running various "test" db's and am planning to back them up.
The Setup:
Host OS is windows 2003 server s2
Grid control 10.2.0.1
Database 10.2.0.2
Target Db is running on a windows 2003 server
The Situation:
From grid control I locate the db in question and go to the maintenance page and the backup settings. First of all I want to test the backup using the tab. Before this of course I enter the Host OS credentials into the system, let’s say "jamie", and add the appropriate password. By this point I have made sure that the user "jamie" is in the local security policy setting "log on as batch job" and that is in the group ora_dba (This is on both the machine I am backing up from and the target db machine.). For security reasons I have limited the share folder location to the user "jamie", making sure that sharing and security has the appropriate privileges to access the share.
I run a test backup using the tab within backup settings and await the results. The results come back unsuccessful. Reading through the log I see that the path to backup share is denied.
So to further the test I change the privileges within the share to "everyone" and that is for both sharing and security, just to see whether or not it’s the path itself rather than restrictions to the user. It is then a success. I checked to see who actually owned the file that was used within the test. It belonged to the local system on the target db, not to the user that I had specified within "Host OS Credentials".
Can anyone explain to me why and what is the reason behind putting in Host OS Credentials when the agent that is committing the back up is using the local domain system user account. I am aware that the Agent is part of a service within windows and belongs to the local domain. Ergo, why have host credentials.
And can anyone help me out with getting round this predicament if I still want security within the systems. I can’t just leave access to the share under "everyone", that'd be a really big hole in the system?!
Any help at all will be gratefully received.

Problem with the back button in the Alv ouput

i have refresh button in output of my alv report when i click on this it is getting refreshed ,now the problem is with the back button after refresh whn i click on back button it is not going to selection screen , i have to click the back button thrice to come out to the selection screen ,if have refreshed the ouput screen twice .
if i dont refresh the back button is working fine , So i have used "call to selection screen 1000" it coming to selection screen without any problem but in selection screen on clicking on back button it is again going back to output screen ,So please suggest what has to be done here .

Please try to understand the flow of program and the screen navigation
the click of BACK button triggers PAI and (to the best of my knowledge) you might have called the ALV screen number without any checks ( may be) so it is again taking to the ALV.
try using
in PAI
module exit at exit-command
in program

when 'BACK'.
LEAVE PROGRAM ( or any thing that you want it to be )

Problem with getting back "synchronous" process result!!!

i have created the partner link to my synchronous process which is already on the server, along with the input and output variable for dealing with that particular process...
my input variable matches the xml schema of my synchronous process... when i expand the input variable node, i can see the elements which i'm trying to pass as the input to my synchronous server.
HOWEVER!!! there's a problem with my output variable, clicking expand on the node, it displays nothing (basically it's suppose to be in the format of the xml schema which i have specified).. hence i cannot work with the output of the asynchronous process...

Problem with exporting back to LR from PS

I exported a photo to PS as always for and edit but when I was done it didn't go back to LR. I can only open from PS. How do I get it back to LR and why did this happen?

I don’t quite understand how you interface to Excel. Directly with ActiveX or through a CSV file.

We're using XSLT to transform XML data to HTML in a portlet. The problem is that
the XML contains headlines and we need to create links to the complete article,
which has to be displayed in the same portlet. How do I create a portal comaptible
link with XSLT? In the JSP you can use the netui tag library like:
<netui:anchor action="..">

<netui:parameter name="id" value="{id}"/>
</netui:anchor>
but how can I achieve this with XSLT? We tried generating the xsl with a jsp,
but this doesn't work since the data entered in the value attribute of the netui:parameter
tag will be encoded causing the XSL transformer to fail.
Is there an easy solution to this? Or can XSLT only be used with very simple content?

We're trying to display some news headlines, clicking a headline has to invoke
an action to display the complete article in the same portlet (using pageflow).

Problem with invalidating a context node

Hi,
Please see the code below:

For some reason, the context is not cleared after the invalidate command. Any ideas for this?

Hi Aviad,
Let me guess the origins of problem:
1. As far as you mentioned <b>Sub</b>items node, there should be a parent node, say Items.
2. Subitems node has either supplying relation role or supply function, Items has no supply function.
3. Then, if you invalidate Subitems, supply function is called or supplying relation is used to populate content. When you do contenxt reset, then all controller nodes get invalidated including Items. Hence Subitems has no parent and displayed as empty.
If all the above is true, then you may either to invalidate Items node or make Subitems node with no supplier (i.e. manually bind content instead).
Context reset works here, but, it's a bit "brute force" approach.

Problem with a empty context

Hello All,
Please refer to following link where I provided the messaging Queues.

Basically the problem is when the value is sent to target it comes like...
After remove Contexts:
SUPPRESS
1234
SUPPRESS
After SplitByValue
null
1234
SUPPRESS
So the node is not creating the field at all in the target as there is null in the begining.
I tried by
1. Changing contexts with different combinations.
2. wrote a UDF to get rid of null in the begining. It dint work
help.

I tried with mapWithDefaults earlier but it was changing the null to SUPPRESS but no change in the target field output ( i.e it is still not coming )
Can someone please tell me how to do I get rid of null in the output?

Problem with portlet addin

Hopefully someone can help me with the following problem, I'm trying to setup a demo of portlets for a customer.
I've downloaded the latest portlet wizard addin that supports JSR 168. But after following the installation instructions it did not work for me.
When clicking the finisch button on the Java Portlet wizard the following exception occurs:
Exception occurred during event dispatching:
oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLDOMException: Node does not exist.

Did you install the Java Web Service Developer Pack 1.3 or 1.2 ?
My guess is you are using the 1.3 and this is the reason why you have get this error.

Problems with Portlet projects

Hi,
Started using Java Studio Enterprise recently (now that it's free) since I am developing portlet applications for an organization running the enterprise system in production use.
The IDE is great (love the UML stuff) but I've run in to a couple of problems that are really slowing me down.
When I run a portlet project in the Application Server (using the Harness portlet provider/Portal Server simulator) I noticed that every request made to the Portlet is duplicated. So if I have a line like...

Why is this happening and what can I do about it? I first noticed this when I was using a DAO from a portlet and all my sql statements got executed twice!
The other thing that's annoying me is that when i shutdown the ide, my datasource reference is whiped out from my web.xml file. So everytime I start Studio Enterprise I have to manually edit the web.xml file to get my datasource working. I have configured my datasource with the IDE (new File > Sun Resource -> JDBC resource...).
Any ideas?

Unfortunately this is a bug in in JSE 8.0. It will be fixed in the currently developed JSE 8.1, but for now there exists a work-around (quoting our portlet builder engineer):
1. Go to folder <userdir>/config/ps/Harness

Every time when you start studio with new userdir, you should change PSSimTarget.jsp to avoid double requests.

Problem with pushbutton BACK

Hi all,
I need a suggestion on a program created by me, when I launch
the program, which is a transaction in which the inside there are
buttons that are related to the programs, when accessing a program,
if I press the BACK button does not return to main screen of the
transaction but to the main screen of SAP. Taking a ride in debug,
I noticed that because of the management SUBMIT BACK in a sense,
the neglect,
how can I avoid this?

i have a similar problem. am using ipod video 30GB enhanced 5th gen. i tried to sync with itunes 6, but i got something like this - "your device requires the latest version of itunes. please install itunes 7"
the problem is, i installed itunes 7 but i could hardly update my ipod. not even to uncheck the "open itunes when ipod is connected" checkbox. if i do that and click 'Apply', itunes 7 will simply freeze, and after a while it gave me some error message. that was why i reverted to itunes 6.
so, is there any way i could make my ipod to work with itunes 6? it it helps, i NEVER 'sync'ed my ipod with itunes 6 before. i downloaded itunes 7 right after i bought the ipod last week.
