Problem with purchase cancellation with lenovo/digitalriver

So I am from the UK. I ordered an x1 carbon on 18th September, then cancelled the purchase 1 day later on the 19th. I received the following email from the lenovo uk supplier digital river.

So that seems very straightforward. I am not going to be charged. I also called them and talked with a customer services rep, and I was also guaranteed not to be charged.
But apparently they changed their minds - three days ago I received a tracking number, and today they have charged my account, overdrawing me into the bargain. They can apparently do this because the original purchase on 18th sept is guaranteed by visa.
So, I guess my question is, do you think they should refund me right now, as I was guaranteed that my card wouldn't be charged? Should I refuse the delivery? Open a payment dispute with my bank?
or do i just have to wait however long it takes to return the item to them? That option pretty much sucks for me right now as I haven't got the money, so I am definitely gonna eat some overdraft fees. If i had the money it obviously wouldn't be a massive issue.
I'd appreciate any opinions, thanks!

I also suffered the same problem, digitalrever promised me to return the product but still have not received email response from them. I don't understand why lenovo making such bad image from such small companies

With reference to previous email conversations for return of product, I would like to let you know that I have not received any email feedback on my emails after 30th of May, whereas it is your responsibility to response to customer within 36 hours. As per e-commerce European act, I do believe that Lenovo company understand the terms and conditions of return policy within 15 days.

    Dear Xperts,
    I am facing problems while doing Goods Receipt of a Purchase Order having all the materials we are going to receive Free of Cost from the Vendor.
    This case is happening with Doemstic and as well as Importer Vendors also.
    Problems to be solved:
    1. If we are using Tax Code(with excise conditions) ,excise duty calculation does not take pace automatically at Goods Receipt as the Material Value is Zero on which the duties will be calculated for a Manufactuing Plant.
    2. This case seems very problammatic if that Purchase Order is having almost thousand line items.The user has to enter all the Excise duties manually for each & every line item during Goods receipt in a manufacturing Plant.
    3. In case of Importer Purchase Order also, the CVD portion & CESS on CVD portion user has to enter manually.
    4. To solve this problem we are  not using Free Goods Indicator in PO, we are entering 0.01 paisa , but during the MIRO of Planned Delivery Costs , the system is not showing or providing POP-ups of those relevant condition types to the user to enter the actual amount.
    Please advice, how can we proceed in this case.

    First you are putting 0.01 value . So the planned delivery cost is not showing coz if say tax is 8% then 0.01 x 0.08 will be  0.0008. It will take first two digit after decimal and hence its 0.00 and hence plannded delivery cost is not showing.
    If you put 0.5 you will be able to put planned delivery cost in MIRO
    Now regarding value is zero and how will the import duty be calculated. May be make a  pricing routine where in the custom duty is not calculated on this base price 0.5 or 0.01 but on the actual value if it was not free of cost and that value you can maintain  through MEK1 transaction code.
    And while posting MIRO or MIGO you need to identify that these are free of cost material and use BADI fi_ac_document
    and may be replace the actual GL with some other GL so that 0.5 or 0.01  does not add to your inventory cost and you could knock off later.

  • Problems with purchase mapping with Paypal

    I am designing a purchasing order form that somehow isn't translating well with Paypal. It integrates with Paypal, but when I test it, the quantity field is interpreted as a price field. I started out with the 'Sales Order' template. The keystrokes in the video tutorial are vague and seem to skip a step. I am just not understanding it.
    What type of fields will add a purchase to the Paypal order?
    In the Paypal 'Collect Payments' section, the Price field will not accept a fixed price. The 'User input' dropdown includes a 'Fixed Price' but when I click it it says "The selected price type is not valid for this purchase field. The change will be reverted." The 'Quantity' field registers a $1 amount for each item in the order.

  • Problems with a newly purchased Refurbishe​d Lenovo Yoga 2

    Respected Sir/Madam,
    I have purchased a refurbished Lenovo yoga 2 laptop on Friday April 11th and received it on April 18.My Order number is 4288728376.
    I have the following problems with my laptop.
    1) My laptop is with 128 Gb ssd. It is partitioned in to two drives
    'C' drive : with 93 Gb and 'D' drive (Lenovo drive) with 4 Gb which is an empty drive.
    of the 128 Gb hard disk if I remove the bit/byte conversion I should have 120 Gb of hard disk space but all I got is 93 + 4 which is 97 out of 120 Gb(23 Gb lost)
    I do not know where that 23 Gb is gone.
    Coming to the C drive I have only 65 Gb of free space(of the total 93 Gb available) in the 'C' drive and I have not copied a single file or installed a single program in it.
    So 28 Gb is already filled up by Operating system which is totally weird because windows 8 takes a maximum of 15 Gb so another 13 Gb is lost here. Adding it to the previous 23 Gigs I lost a total of 36 Gb
    Coming to the D drive. It is named as Lenovo drive. Earlier I thought it was a recovery disk but it is only a 4Gb disk and which is completely empty
    which means I only have access to 65 Gb of entire 128 Gb disk which is only 50% of entire disk.
    2) Coming to the battery of the disk. I'm not even getting the battery charge for 3 continuous hours. I'm using 40% of screen brightness and not even playing media. But still I'm getting very low battery backup.
    At 17% battery the battery charge suddenly drops to 7% which should not happen with a good battery. It is said that Yoga 2 battery will work for 6 hours but I'm not able to get at least 3 hours of battery charge.
      I'm extremely dissatisfied with my hard disk and battery. I have talked to Lenovo customer care regarding the same issue and they told that I have to contact post sales team for it.
    After contacting the post sales team I came to know that I can return the laptop at a fee of 15% of the laptop's cost which is totally unfair because it is in no way my mistake. I did not get what I ordered for and still I have to pay for not getting a good laptop which is not at all fair. This really pissed me off.
    Please consider my situation and provide me a solution to my problem

    I'm not Lenovo support, but I'll chime in to offer my $.02
    1) The D:\ partition should contain drivers and installers for some bundled apps. The other partitions are for recovery, and I believe 13GB is dedicated for the main recovery partition. You can delete those extra partitions and then resize them using diskpart. You could also perform a clean Win 8 install and zap all of the partitions during setup.
    2) In regards to the battery, open the Lenove Energy Management utility and change it to Maximum battery life.

    We have made a GR 5000186897 on 03.09.2010 amount 1.920 and tried to cancel it with GR 5000208866, but it takes the invoice amount 1.724 instead of 1.920. What is the correct way to undo this orders, so we cancel the 1.920 and not the 1.724?

    You have to cancel the IR first...and then do cancel the GR...
    yes, there will be diff. in the price(if the price changes in bwtn)..if no changes in the price , the price will taken as old one..
    Process:
    1. Cancel IR
    2. Then cancel GR..
    3. then go the PO and try to delete the line item..

         it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

  • Problem with Purchase Order receipt - Urgent

    Scenario - A purchase order with a six items has been released, four items have been recieved, fifth item was deleted & sixth item is packing & forwarding charges.
    Problem - A change was done in the Mtl master for the packing & forwarding charges to ensure that a GR is not required for this item, but the same is not being reflected, as a query of Open PO's still shows this PO as open with the item packing & forwarding not received. How to resolve this?

       From your inputs i did get some picture, but here is more details about the problem am facing, maybe you can help me out with this,
    The item packing & forwarding chgs has been declared as a material & in the BD-1 view of the Mtl Master, the General Item Category Grp has been set as 'Service w/o Dlvy' & this is causing the GR not to be ticked in the PO & hence it still says item yet to receive. I subsequently changed the status of Gen Itm Category to 'Service w/o Dlvy Confimration' & this ticks the GR. But the issue is, since the change in Material Master is done after the PO release, it is not changing the status in that PO.
    And the query i am runing to check the open PO's is a customised query developed using SQ01.
       Hope you are clear of my problem now & let me know what i can do

    Try logging out and then back into your account and check to make sure that all the credit card info including your address is correct, if you still can't get it to work then I would contact Apple and ask them what's going on.

    When I access "iTunes > Purchased" (on iPhone) it does not show one of the albums that I purchased. When i acess "Purchased items" in iTunes (MacBook) this album is showed.

    I just called the 1-800-My-Apple and the said there is really nothing they can do about it. They said I had an outstanding payment of $8.54 (or something like that), I said I know b/c of the problem I am having with my bank, but NO previous completed purchases should have anything to do with this outstanding payment . It should not keep me from being able to update or download previously completely paid apps, TV Shows, or movies - they are mine, and I paid for them. I submitted a complaint.. that just isn't right!
