Problems connecting to SVN using HTTPS

I am having an issue connecting to SVN using HTTPS. I am using DreamWeaver 5.5.
We are being required to access the SVN Repository using LDAP. Prior to this I was able to get to the SVN Repository just fine using the SVN connection.
With the HTTPS connection I am getting the following error in the log:
SVN: #175002, OPTIONS of 'https://ipAddress/repos/...': SSL handshake failed: SSL error code -1/1/336032856 (https://IPAddress)
Another developer who is on a MAC can get to the Repository using DreamWeaver and HTTPS just fine. I have validated that all of the settings in DreamWeaver was the same. The other developer using Windows is having the same issue that I am having.
I can get to the repository through Tortoise using HTTPS.
Any recommendations?

FYI. This issue has been solved. After we connected using the server name instead of the IP address it was able to work. So, if anyone else has this issue maybe this will help.

Problem connecting to SVN repository from Safari, works with FF

I have a problem with Mac at work. I need to connect to internal SVN repository (https) first with Safari to see if everything is ok and then with my development client/tool - Eclipse.
Neither works! It just keep connecting and it does not go further.
But when I put SVN url in Firefox (FF) it ask me for SVN password and let me in. IT WORKS...
Probably there is a problem with Keychain because it does not even ask me for password. I just see page loading in Safari but nothing happens. Also in Eclipse, nothing happens when I try to add SVN repository location.
Other guys with MS and Ubuntu PCs can connect to SVN (FF and Eclipse) with no problem.
Where is the problem?
Why my Mac could not connect to this particular SVN.

I digg some findings. When I open the page with Google Chrome it also does not load any thing, just keep loading.
But when I open SVN url (ssl) with Opera, it behave like Firefox. First it tells me that this site is not trusted and after confirming this alert I get password promt and everything is ok.
But there is still problem with Safari and Eclipse. Has Keychain anything here to do with this ???

Problems connecting to Internet using Airport - can anyone help ?

I'm using a MacBook running OSX 10.4.11, trying to connect to internet using Airport. I connected OK first time, but after powering off the Mac, each time I now try to connect again, the Mac can't find the network. Network Diagnostics can't fix it either. I use a Linksys wireless router, connected to an ADSL modem. I use PPPoE. I live in Borneo, and the line connection is not great, occasionally the phone line drops out and then modem reconnects itself, I wonder whether this is causing some sort of problem with IP settings. The only way I can connect wirelessly is to start the Mac, reboot the modem, then the router, and plough through Network Diagnostics. A real pain. Help much appreciated.

I have a Linksys Wireless-G (model WRT54GS). This is working ok because I have two other wireless devices (internet radio and iPod touch) which connect fine. Firmware is up to date. I've done a bit more troubleshooting, and the the problem is connected with the phone line, which drops out all too regularly. Each time the phone line drops out, the Mac is unable to connect to the network wirelessly. After going through Network diagnostics, and rebooting the modem+router, it comes with a message saying "Network changes detected", and then I can reconnect OK. The funny thing is, the IPod touch can always reconnect no problem, even if the line has dropped out since the last login. Given that I've got a crappy phone line conection, is this normal or is there something wrong with my Mac settings ?

Problems with BSP application using HTTPS in EP6.0

We developed a custom BSP which uses HTTPS protocol and HTMLB tags. The BSP page has a date field (htmlb inputfield of type date..which allows the user to pick a date). If I run this BSP in its own browser window, clicking on the date field will display a calendar. However, if I run this BSP as an iView in the portal (we use EP6.0) and click on the date, I see a Javascript error message (in the browser status area) that says "access is denied" and the calendar isn't displayed.
Also, this BSP is a stateful application with the portal integration flag checked. However the DSM terminator is not invoked when I close the iView.
If I change the BSP settings to use HTTP, I can run it as a portal iView without any such problems. Has anyone experienced this and/or know how to resolve it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated? Thanks,

Ok, In the iChat Menu > Preferences >Accounts > Server Setting what is the name of the Serve listed ?
It should be talk.google.com and the port should be port 5223 and SSL should be On.
It may in fact be set to "Automatically find Port and Server"
Try it with out the Automatic Server Find and change the port to 443 (leave SSL On)
Will it log in now ? (Use the Enable this Account Box in ther Accountg Info tab)

I want to call a webservice written in .net(c#) using https from livecycle designer.I can call webservice using http ,but when i try with https it is failing.If there any special configuration have to do in server for this ?I have already put crossdomain in server.

Problems connecting to SSRS using IReportServerCredentials, the request failed with http status 401: unauthorized

We have a hosted SSRS server and we access it's reports using the reportviewer in an ASP.net application.
We are getting the error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. When trying to run one of the reports. I have confirmed that the login details work when logging into the report manager page directly.
I have implemented an instance of IReportServerCredentials in a separate class (below) and I call it from the page before it tries to access the report. I'm not sure if this is all I need but can't seem to find any other info.
I have managed to gain access connecting to the external server from my PC and accessed the report, but when I promote the code to production and run it from there on my local PC I get the unauthorized message again: the request failed with http status
401: unauthorized

According to your description, you are getting the error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized when you access the report using the ReportViewer in an ASP.net application.
Regarding the 401 error, it could cause by the Service Principal Name(SPN) for the account the Reporting Services is running under hasn’t been registered when the Reporting Services is configured to use Kerberos authentication. So in your scenario,
please check if you are using Kerberos authentication. If that is a case, please make sure SPN is configured correctly. For more information, please refer to the similar thread:
The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized. in SSRS.
If issue persists, please check the Reporting Service error log (default location: %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\<SQL Server Instance>\Reporting Services\LogFiles) around the time that the error message thrown out.

Problem connecting RMI-Server using a servlet

I have a RMI-client server model woring fine in AIX box.I am currently in a need to create one web client(may be with servlet or JSP).
I wrote a sample servlet which try to connect to the RMI server. But when I run the servlet Its simply try to connect and then wait for unlimited time,not even print any exception/error.
Both my RMI sevrer and Tomcat are in the same box.

when I run the servlet in the browser with "http://192.168.100.22:8080/WebClient" its simply prints " Connecting to server......" and waits.

I have tried starting tomcat with "-security" option too but no responds as well.
Do I have to provide some grant permission in catlina.policy file?If yes what?
currently I have tried with giving all permission..
Do I need to change the RMI server code?

Oh....Ya I like to...I thought no body was interested...as I didn't get any reply from anybody....
Well The first thing is that with the look up method in the servlet
it should be like :

RMIServerInterface = (type cast with RMIServerInterface) reg.lookup("rmi binding string");
Now you are able to get the server interface object & you can call any method.
Next you have to provide the grant permission in the catalina.policy file to the folder where you have your application like....
grant codeBase "file:${catalina.home}/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/-" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
Or you can give specific permissions also.
Finally you have to run the tomcat as : $catalina.sh start -security
Note: One more thing you have to keep in mind that's the structure of your application. ie com.mon.yourapp.......u have to create the same structure in tomcat's classes folder .

Problem connecting to rdp using RemoteApp and Desktop

I am having trouble connecting to a remote app server using the Remote App and Desktop connections feature on 2012 R2. It is a domain server. It works with most user but not with a few. I can put the web address in it ask for and it comes up and says error
in connecting. please contact admin. I have tried signing off and rebooting the physical server. but no luck on it connecting. I can get it connect through the internet site and on a different server. How to fix when there is no error number.

Printer problems connected to iMac using Airport Express

I have an Airport Extreme functioning as a base station,and an Airport Express extending the range to an iMac i keep on the third floor of my house; my HP printer is connected to the iMac. My iBook laptop in my kitchen connects wirelessly to the base station's stronger signal. Previously, when I used a Linksys system, my laptop was able to 'see' the printer connected to the iMac; now I can't. (I also am unable to fileshare between the computers, even tho i have filesharing switched on.) What gives (on both the printing and filesharing questions)?

If you run the Airport Admin Utility on the iBook - does it "see" both the Airport Extreme Base Station and the Airport Express?
Double check that your broadband modem is connected to your Base Station's WAN port - that's the port labelled with the "circle of dots" icon.

Is the MySQL JDBC JAR file in the classpath of the applet?
newInstance() is not required to be invoked unless using <= JDK 2.0

Problem connecting Dev server using odbc

We are running siebel 8.0.0.5 on solaris 10 on Oracle DB (10.2.0.4). We are planning to upgrade it to siebel 8.1.1.10. I just want you to help me with few parameters and executables as me new in SADMIN . When tried using odbc connection on dev its througing below mentioned errors
To check the ODBC connection:-
Test the connection by navigating to $SIEBEL_HOME/bin and entering the command:-

Has anybody been able to connect to Oracle 10g using the latest ORACE(Free PL/SQL code editor)? The application hangs when I click on connect. Do I have to install the Oracle Instant Client if I have Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition installed?

I should have explained further. The game opens in a new window over to the upper left of my screen, leaving the original page underneath. I tried minimizing it so that I could get to my toolbar and did the View > Zoom > Reset. This has no effect. The lower portion of the game is still not showing. Using other browsers the window or frame of the game is much larger, therefore everything shows.
