Problems installing jar package
I've downloaded a couple of java jar packages (Java3d loaders for 3DS). I've put the jar packages in C:\j2sdk1.4.2_05\jre\lib\ext (rather than specify them in the Class Path for now).
I can compile, no problems, but at run time get a message such as:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefinitionFoundError: com/mnstarfire/loaders3d/loader3DS"
Please help.
One thing I just tried was to extract the jar file local to the main class folder. After this I found out that the library didn't work with this VM version. So I tried another libarary, which does work.

Problem installing a package from AUR
I'm not expecting anyone to install this package just to try and answer my question but,,
I have /home on a 10 gig space ext3 and it's only 2% full.
When I try and install doom3-phantasm, the package downloads, builds and when it's time to install a window says not enough space to install.
No way this single game is over 9.5 gigs.
I'm not even seeing where it's trying to install to.
Is this a problem with the package build or am I not seeing something?I wrote the pkgbuild, so I've got it installed

Problem installing LibXp package
Hello,
I have a problem when i try to install oracle 10g2 when i get an error message. I read this forum which btw has lots of stuffs for studying since i am new to linux :) and i found out that i need to install the libXp package. My problem is that i cant install this package since when i open it it says that it cannot install source packages and i when i run it from the terminal i get this message:
cannot create %sourcedir /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
I tried to check other topics in case i find something similar but there were too many and i got tired. If you can specify me a guide for how to unpack those files it would be appreciated. I am running Red hat enterprise Linux 5.

I read somewhere that those warnings are no need to be taken into consideration.However, i cant find the package in the installed packages of my system and when i try to install oracle i get exactly the same error as before:
"libxp.so.6: cannot open shared object file"
Concerning the pirut, i dont think i can use it since it says: "Unable to import modules. Maybe you are not running under X?"
Now i am trying the third method. I hope that this will fix it
*EDIT: I might be wrong for the pirut. I forgot i was not as root when i tried that. I opened now the package with opening with other application --> use a custom command. There i typed pirut and it opened me a window with all the installed packages. I am stuck there atm and trying to figure it out :) -

I am trying to install the packages SAPKIIBIIP1 to SAPKIIBIIP9. I am working under Windows Server 2003,SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and the component is the BI_CONT 7.03.
The message i get is:

Notes on phase DDIC_ACTIVATION
In this phase the imported Dictionary objects are activated. This phase

information, see the SLOG or ALOG log file.
o TP_STEP_FAILURE: The tp step DDIC activation could not be performed
successfully. To see the cause of the error in the activation log,
choose Goto -> Log -> Queue.
If you import two or more Support Packages in one queue, and you do not activate them in the correct sequence, activation errors may

the activation run. To do this, choose Support Package -> Import

I tried updating iTunes to version 11.1.1, but installation fails each time even when I did it manually as was suggested. The message I receive is: "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2324."

I wasn't able to install the new version of iTunes (version 11.1.1). The installation keeps failing. The they suggested the I install it manually and that failed too. I will attach the message I received.

Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

I selected Repair in all of them instead of Remove and all worked but iTunes64

I completely understand what you're saying. Since that Repair did not resolve the issue, our best option is to uninstall iTunes and its components and redownload it. First, we will want to quit iTunes and/or Apple Software Update if those are open at this time.

This error code is not something that I am finding in my sources, Samia. So there is a chance that it is being caused with the Windows computer itself. Problem while installing Setup package
Hi all,
A week before i installed setup package on one device it worked perfectly fine.
Today i created new setup package with parameter sets( MI_CONFIG and included parameter MobileEngine.Sync.Gateway.Service=/sap/bc/MJC/mi_host
MI.Sync.ProtocolVersion=251500
And did not added these two lines in Mobileengine.config file.
My device is looping between two screen Ie Logon screen and change password screen. Whenever i enter the username and password it enters into Change password screen and then again to logon screen.
What can be the problem?

This is because after after you have created a setup package, a configuration tells the user to change his password on this first login to the client. If you open the MobileEngine.config file you will find an entry called <i><b>MobileEngine.Security.PasswordChangeRequired</b></i> with a value true. Just set the value to false and restart MI. If the parameter is not present, add the same and restart. This should solve your problem and the change password page will never appear again.

I have downloaded packages and successfully installed following 4

oracleasm-2.6.18-128.el5-2.0.5-1.el5.i686.rpm
oracleasm-2.6.18-128.el5-debuginfo-2.0.5-1.el5.i686.rpm
but while installing following got error

Note:
Downloaded the B1DE from B1DE:SAP Business One Development Environment Tools
Using Window XP , .Net 2008, SAP B1 8.81 Version
Company Name, Contact Person, Namespace all were given while installing. All of its length is less than 8

Hi all,
I just downloaded 0.5 and am having some problems with the installation. I made it to the point where you choose the packages and decided to go with just the base (like the instructions suggested). When I begin to install the packages, I immediately receive the following error:
error: cannot resolve dependencies for "autoconf":
"mawk" is not in the package set
Package Installation FAILED
I thought I may have downloaded a bad ISO so I did another download but received the same error.
If it matters, I'm running a Thinkpad T30 laptop.
Thanks for your help with this.since i have yet to have tested the 0.5 installer i must ask if, when you were going through the install procedure, there is still a listing for lilo or grub configuration files in the file configuration section? if so what may be happening is that you are being struck by what i like to call the "no backtracking bug". what i mean by this is that if configuring certain files is option three then you configure all the files press done. say you want to correct something afterwards and you go back to do this. often this can't be done. sometimes this hits you sometimes it doesn't.
all ican suggest is that you go through each install step and if there is a lio or grub file in the file configuration step edit it there. don't step back.
just a guess though as i have yet to play with the 0.5 installer. apeiro may be able to confirm or deny this. -
Yaourt: Problems installing generated AUR packages [SOLVED]

I'm using Archlinux and the system works flawessly. Sadly, there's a problem when trying to install AUR packages.
The following happens installing any AUR package I tried lately.

Any idea about how to fix it? I tried using both an user with sudo and root, same problem.

What do you mean? The package doesn't exist, I double checked it.
Maybe I need to check where yaourt writes it. Any suggestion about what util to use for that?
EDIT: I used "lsof" command and found the file is there, but yaourt can't locate it and deletes the directory after

Problem with npm installing global packages
If I try to install a global package with npm like :
sudo npm install -g grunt
npm will install the package in "/usr/lib/node_modules/". But it is not installing the executable anywhere.
The result of npm -g bin is
/usr/bin
So that is where I would expect the executable to be placed. But nothing is there. So if I run grunt, it just complains that grunt can't be found.
Any ideas? Thanks

You don't install grunt globally. Grunt is the local package to install. To get the global grunt command, you install grunt-cli. Doing things correctly and everything works fine.
