Problems Registering the Standard Taglib

          Hi,
          I am trying to use JSTL 1.0.2 , the Standard Tag Library from jakarta with WebLogic
          5.
          I have made proper entries in the web.xml. Have included the required jars in
          Classpath.
          This is how I am using it from a JSP
          <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" %>
          And I get following errors when trying to access the JSP page
          resolving taglib uri 'http://java.sun.com/jstl/core' to taglib-location /WEB-INF/c.tld:
          Servlet failed with Exception
          weblogic.servlet.jsp.JspException: (line 1): Could not parse deployment descriptor:
          org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Could not parse taglib, starting at line 3
          Can anyone help me with this?

          Hi,
          I found the same and the reason is that the definition of the taglib is wrongly
          given in the README of jakarta.
          Instead of
          <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" %>
          you have to write
          <%@ taglib uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" prefix="c" %>

I was successfully able to deploy my auto hosted event receiver in office 365 and it was working. I did some changes on code and try to deploy it again but now it through same error always wheneven i deploy it.

Hi All,
I have tried same thing in different different environment. Different environment mean different azure account and office 365 account. But still the issue persists.
i feel some issue in my office network or in servers. Because couple of days back same thing was working in my private virtual machine in my private network instead of office.
For me i observe a basic problem in this network.
The pop up to provide trust to the app (that come with title "Grant permission to app") comes while i deploy the solution and gets close automatically without clicking trust.
Might be this could be the reason for me ?. because closing of pop up is not providing authentication to my app.
This happens in every server in my office network.
Any suggestions on that. Thanks in advance.

I answer to your question, this is not restricted to just the one user. It has happened to a few, but not all. Not sure what the trigger is.
Now it has happened for a non-portal user, that is to say when I run it test mode from SE80. Debugging has not shed any light on it. All behaves as I would expect. All the alv formatting code is executed, then the component loads and by default the 'standard view' has all column set as hidden.
Looking at this from a different perspective, when, in an alv you create a custom view and 'save as' to store the settings, does anyone know where that is saved too ? Can we delete the settings for the user ? or see the personalization ?

Problems with the Standard Greeting CUE

I am running Cisco Unity Express version 3.2.2 in a Cisco 2851 router.
A user has logged onto her voicemail and was attempting to change the initial default settings for her Unity Express account.
She is using a 7942 phone.
I got around the problem by setting up her voicemail from a shared line on another phone.
The strange thing is that when the user tried to record her name in CUE, the system seemed to ignore her request and kept the default settings.
When I configured another phone with a shared line, I had no problems updating the CUE server.
Any ideas , thoughts?

I have already got those drivers for the audio, and even if it's actually better with them, its still a problem.
As for the ram, can i check that on the actual ram or with a program? Because when i bought it, it said 512mb "Standard" DDR, nothing more.
The cpu was all right when i upgraded it, so thats not a problem. As for the xp messenger update, i dont think it's that because i am now running windows 2000 and have tried running xp, 2000 and 98 with the same problems.

As for those ram timings, that sound like something i should try. I lack some of those skills so if you could detail what i should set in bios i would apreciated so i dont mess something up
Something just hit me. I have been suspicious about the ram for a while now but now i know, of course it must be the ram. I put in an GeForce2 MX in and it worked splendid, and thats because it has its own memory, i would beleve that it's the same thing with the sound perhaps. If i am not entierly mistaken the sound card probably use my ddr memory as a buffer, right?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Problem regarding the standard email client in Nok...

I have tried for days to set up the standardphone email client with my email adress. I use my own email account from a domain. (.net)
When i bought the N8 last month it actually worked with the standard imap configure and ports used in outlook and other devices.
Suddenly i got the message that i had to reinst. the email-account on the phone, and now its not possible to recive emails.
I have tried almost everything, but managed to send emails after i deleted every mail account on the phone, and denied the terms at the end so my emails dont go through the nokia.com system.
Have anyone experienced the same problem?
Does anyone have a solution?

good to know your WebDynpro reacts to eventing sent by MDM Result Set iView. As you mentioned, the problem is getting the record-id from the sender ResultSet iView.
Here is the info:
Step1: display what comes from sender iView.
e.g. for NW04 EP SP14: Logon to Portal with admin access, then navigate to System Administration -> Support -> Client Framework -> SPOCKI, Client Framework Inspector. Enter the pcd link to the MDM Result Set iView, then all client framework info is visible including all parameters of eventing. If the parameter you are looking for (e.g. record-ID) is not sent out from ResultSet, then:
Step2: configure MDM ResultSet iView to send the record-id
Content Administration -> ... select your Result Set iView -> open it in Edit mode -> select Custom Events -> select event type EPCF -> select Mapped Field [Record ID] -> enter the name of the parameter (same specified in event receiver). Then repeat the Step1 to make sure the record-ID is really sent out from Result Set iView.

Problem with the standard process HR_PD_MOVE_POSITION

I try to use the standard process HR_PD_MOVE_POSITION to change an assignment of position. I started the process via the link Start Organizational Process after that filled an Adobe-form. Later a WF 04000035 which links with the process, started. But the first step of WF ended with the status ERROR.
In the Step History tab (transaction SWI1) I see the next errors:

PROCESS_NODE - Error when processing node '0000000014' (ParForEach index 000000)
    CREATE - Error when creating a component of type 'Step'

I have a big problem.
I am using BAPI_RESERVATION_CHANGE in order to marked old reserves with flag of delete
After, we use BAPI_RESEVATION_CRATE1 in order to create the new reservation. The problem comes because both bapis use a global variable called s_resb where after first BAPI is filled with the first material of the old reservation.
Then, for create the new reservation use the same variable and i need to clear it.
Are there any thing i can do?
In addition, between executions, this variable is filled too without call fist bapi (i think it remains in memory)

pd: bapi_reservation_create1 has a user exit, however i can't access to s_resb.

quite dirty, but quick and it works!!!:
Do the function calls each within a Z_prog in a way like this:
SUBMIT Z_CHANGE ......... AND RETURN.
SUBMIT Z_CREATE .......... AND RETURN.
In Z_progs there will be built a new program context, that will be destroyed after leaving (and with it the loaded function-group - that will initialize!).

How much space is used by your Other? You may be able to reduce.

i am having problems exporting my time lapses from quick time pro i need to save my files as photo jpegs but the standard video compression window will not open fully, it just keeps my mac (old 1.6Ghz 2.5 GB sdram G5 still good for most stuff i need) spinning for ever but i can see compression type H.264 selected and the other setting but i can not select any other options as it still thinking but never opens! why is this happening how do i get round it?
my work flow is: 300 images shot on a 5d mark II medium jpegs opened in Light Room cropped to 16:9 then exported and opened in quick time i can save a .mov H264 giving me files sizes of 14 mb for a 16 second time lapse, mp4 9 mb. the only way i can get large files is saving as a self contained movie then i get 300mb files.
i need to save my files 1920 x 1080 photo jpeg codec as i want HD quality.
i am sure there is a simple way round this?

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions.
How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?

My iphoto freezes when trying to use the standard eBay photo upload, the problem started after a recent iOS 7 update. The album photos don't appear until I try and close the upload and immediately freezes. Attempts to close iphoto fail.

A week or so ago I reacted to an Apple update message. The update completed and this left me with a couple of problems. When the imac started up there was a Glims message on screen telling me that the computer had not closed entirely and asking if I wanted to allow glims to reopen previously open files. I ticked yes and Safari froze immediately. This would happen even after a restart, Safari would start up with the Glims message on my Yahoo mail account. Then whether I clicked on the Glims message or not one of various adverts would appear and Safari would immediately freeze. I managed to override this by quickly entering Safari extensions and subscribing to an advertisement blocking programme. Safari now worked without problems but the blocking programme created other problems mostly with iphoto. The eBay uploaded photos were minute. So I decided to remove the Safari blocking extension and all seemed fine for everything except iphoto which now freezes every time I try to upload eBay photo's using the eBay standard upload problem. Yesterday I changed to the other BASIC upload option and that did work. Thought it might be a one of glitch on the Standard but obviously not. Anyone's help would be appreciated. I note that at least one other member is experiencing the same or similar problem today.

Sorry I am 70 and not very computer literate. Please explain in simpler terms. Perhaps I should have said Apple update for my iMac. It did however include an iphoto update. My imac is 3 years old, I also have an ipad 2 and iPhone and both received iOS 7 updates around the same time.

It is a failed hard disk to the pc and was not able to deactivate the license adobe.
Now I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled the software but it tells me that all licenses are used.
Is it possible to unlock the licenses in use?

Adobe can unlock licenses, this is a normal thing for them to do. You must contact them directly, there is no trick or other way.

Hi,
You can define your own PF-STATUS and in that assign the function code for BACK button anything except 'BACK'.
The code would somewhat look like this:
SET PF-STATUS 'TEST'.
write : itab-col1,
itab-col2.
in the PF-STATUS 'TEST', assign the function code to BACK button as 'BCK'.
Now in your program you can use the event AT USER-COMMAND.
In this you can handle the functionality of BACK button.
