I have many lines for my business with t mobile, in November I got two iPhone 5s, now I don't pass these upgrades on to my workers as they trash phones.
So I thought I would keep them as presents for my nephews for Christmas, as they are on griff gaff, I phoned tmobile to unlock as I've done in the past.
Anyway I got the text last week to say they are ready to unlock connect to iTunes. This where the problem starts, iTunes does not unlock the iPhones, I've called tmobile now over 8 times, they say that their systems say the phones are unlocked when they are not . The money has being paid to them to unlock them but iTunes does not do the unlock. Now after many calls tmobile has washed their hands of this problem and told me to call apple.
But I can't call apple as the phone support has ran out with them. So I'm left with money out of pocket and two iPhones that my nephews can't use.
Can anyone from apple please advise me on what action I can take here?

No. There is no one from Apple here, we're all users, just like you.
Don't know what else to tell you...T-Mobile sends the IMEI numbers to Apple, Apple adds to the database. Either T-Mobile hasn't done their job, or not done it correctly. Only one way to find out.

When I connected hers yesterday to add some music I got an 'erase and sync' message saying that her phone was linked to another iTunes library. We only have one lap top and so have only ever had the phones connected to that one iTunes on it. If I erase and sync will that delete all her apps, pictures etc And replace with the ones I have on my phone that have backed up to iTunes. We want to have different apps and photos.
With our iPods we set them to manual and there's no problem, but with the iPhone there is.
I don't think it matters but I'm on ios5 and she is on ios4, both are iPhone 4.

No, I hadn't thought of that. I would have had my phone plugged in before and when I plugged her phone in I wasn't prompted for a password. So no, she wouldn't have been signed in.
So, if I sign out of my account and sign in to hers, I shouldn't get this problem of being prompted to erase and sync?

If you are synching all music that you have in iTunes on your computer then, when you next sync, any music not in iTunes but on the iPod should be removed.

As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

Wind mobile wasnt supporting Iphones until they decided to let people use Iphone 5s with their $40 plan.And as i know, Turkey is the only country that asks you to register the imei on your passport to use it. So, most of people did not know it. so procedures are changing country by country. Are you sure that If I buy an Iphone 5s from a canadian apple store, use it with my wind mobile line and the turkish line in Turkey?

well i'm not really asking which is better for travel, i'm just asking over all which phone is better for the plan i have with T-Mobile, but i'm assuming is the Galaxy s2, but the only reason y im not getting that phone is cause that phone is way too big. sigh and i really like the i4s, been using iphone before as well, so i'm kinda use to it. The phone will only show it's location if it is connected to cellular network or Wi-Fi. If those options are switched off, you can't locate the phone.

Problems with two iPhones with iPhoto

I have one computer which I sync two iPhones with.
Both phones sync fine in iTunes and I have had no issues.
However, only one of the two iPhones will show up in iPhoto. Looking at the Image Capture program, it does not even see the second iPhone either. I have tried rebooting both the phone and the mac, but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Do you have any pictures taken with the iphone on the second iphone?
If so, you might need to delete a few and then try to see if iphoto will recognize the iphone.
Also, try a reset on the iphone.

You should select the Merge option. If you don't, the existing contact information in the Address Book on your Mac will replace all contact info in her iPhone's address book.

Verizon iPhone with T-mobile

I have an carrier question. So my friend gave me her old iPhone 5 today to use with tmobile. Right now, I have a regular sized SIM card that does not fit into the Verizon iPhone. If I go to the tmobile store to get a nano SIM card, can I just pop it in the iphone 5 and it'll work? Or is the iphone carrier specific to verizon? Any advice is appreciated.
