Problems with Mass Changes of fixed assets (Transaction AR31)

I have the next problem: I am trying to make a massive update of fixed assets , by means of the transaction ar31, but the system goes directly to the transaction so01 .
That I must do for being able to execute the transaction of normal way?

I was investigating and I managed to deactivate wf, now I can execute the transaction, but not successful. The system show the next message " They do not exist responsible for task " and when checking the customizing the fixed assets (OAWF) the task have a responsible.
So I do not know that to do.

Lately, I've been having a big problem with iChat changing any custom away message that I put up to "Away" after 30 minutes or so. Is there anything I can do to make it stop? Another issue I'm having is that sometimes when people on my buddy list change their away message, it doesn't show up on iChat unless I go offline and then sign back on. Any idea why it's doing that, and what I can do to get it to stop?

Go to the General Section of iChat Preferences.
Does it say you are set to Go to Away when you log off/QUit iChat ?
is the computer going to Sleep at this point ?

Problem with depreciation posting for an asset with a '0' net book value.

Hi,
I have a problem with depreciation posting on one asset. I think it should not be calculated and posted at all.
On 1st November 2010 (our Fiscal year starts on 1st November) there was acquisition posted to an asset and then it was reversed on the same day - so the net book value was '0'.
In AFAB depreciation run for April 2011 - it posted depreciatoion of 0.01 Euro, so now the book value is -0.01.
Do you know how this could have happened and what can I do to get the value of this asset back to 0?

Thank you for your reply.
I just have one doubt - as depreciation of 0.01 Eur was posted in previous period leaving net value of asset equal to -0.01 Eur.
Shouldn't I get ritd of this asset value before I proceed with the steps you suggested?
I think it is not possible to reverse the depreciation - so I struggle to find a way to bring asset value back to zero.

Mass Change in Recipe management (Transaction RMWB) - change specification

Hello ALL,
I am working on a Requirement - Mass Change in Recipe management (Transaction RMWB)
Requirement - for a given specification number get the list of all recipes where this particular specification is used (this is achieved by standard functionality in RMWB)
When a particular recipe is changed in a recipe - perform a mass change of specification across all the recipes.
Things I have found already:
This has to be done in similar fashion as status change is done using ABAP Class -CL_RCP_MSC_STATUS
I would appreciate your help and suggestion in this.

Yeah actually we did the same thing per your specs: non-status related although confined to preferred recipes, substituting substance X for Y in dependent formulas of recipes.
The only option right I am aware of currently requires custom ABAP work using the Mass-Change framework supplied.

As far as i know the Bank name field is non editable and it flows from Bank key which means the name is bank key specific...so you have to change the bank name of the Bank key...for this i think LSMW or BAPI needs to be created for the Bank key change transaction code FI02.

The default font remains Myriad Pro until you change it, either in the RGB/CMYK Startup files or in the preferences, options depending on versions.
Concerning missing font names, I believe this may solve it:
Open System Preferences and go to Accessibility. Next, select Display from the source list along the left, then check the box labelled Reduce transparency.

I have been a long time Verizon Wireless customer. I have two lines, one of which was assigned to a tablet with a 1gb plan. I maintained this line for the upgrade since my other line has unlimited data. I recently upgraded to the Note 3, and in the process was told that I'd have to establish a new line to accomplish the upgrade. The representative, from Costco, let me know that it shouldn't be a problem transferring the same plan to the newly established line and not to worry about anything going wrong. That night I called Verizon for the first time and worked with a customer service representative who ended up making the problem worse by canceling the tablet line before transferringthe device to the new line. This caused a problem with my sim card, and I have to request a new one because my old was was constantly showing an "aging" status. Even a few days later. The first night consisted of two phone calls to Verizon because the rep mentioned above ended up disconnecting me trying to get over to tech support. The second rep was much more helpful, but wasn't able to do anything and let me know I'd have to work with tech support, but should wait until the next day to allow the sim to "age."
The next day was the 4th of July, so I called back the next day and went through a similar process, spent about 30 minutes with one rep, only to be told my sim was still "ageing" and to talk to tech support. Every time I was connected with tech support it was a minimum 30 minute wait, just to be told that there was nothing they could do, again, and they sent me a new sim card. When i received that sim, at which point it was the following week, I called back and activated my tablet successfully. Hung the phone up and thought all was well, until I saw my balance due the next day. It was nearly double what I usually pay. The representative never informed me that it would default to a prorated amount based on that payment, of 4gb. None of which I need. I called back, again, and was told that I wasn't able to use the old plan I had since it didn't exist anymore. This time the representative was very pleasant, and let me know she'd put a request in to see if the old plan would be possible, given my situation. I was alright with that, and this was the first time I wasn't frustrated after hanging up the phone.
She called me back yesterday letting me know that Verizon isn't willing to allow me to use my old plan, and that there is a new plan options, that is 10 dollars a month. Honestly that was all right, so I called in today to change it to that plan and have it backdated to the date of upgrade to fix my billing issue. During the process of looking up my information, the representative I spoke with today disconnected me. Over the last week and a half I have spent nearly 3-4 hours on the phone with Verizon just trying to fix this issue that was not anything I could have controlled.
The rep at Costco told me I'd have no issues transferring my lien to the new line we opened that day, and the first individual I spoke with on the phone canceled the line too early and further delayed the process by requiring me to request a new SIM card for the tablet. After being disconnected this time, I'm extremely frustrated with the entire situation and Verizon in general. I've been a customer of Verizon for nearly ten years, and for the fist time I am considering moving to another carrier seeing. In that ten year period, I have probably called into customer service less than 5 times. And in the last week and a half I have made more calls, and spent far more time on the phone than every before.
The bottom line is, I need to have the plan changed on my tablet line to something comparable to what I had previously, which was a 20 dollar, 1gb plan with the 10 dollar tablet fee. I need this taken care of ASAP and I need to know it's being done correctly. If Verizon is going to partner with companies like Costco to provide phones to members, and increase their customer base, than these reps need to be better equipped to handle the upgrade process. And it seems that the call centers I have spoken with are a 50/50 shot in terms of reaching someone who is able to do their job effectively and in a timely fashion.
I hope to be contacted with a resolution by today or I will be returning the phone, and looking elsewhere for my wireless needs.

There is an "undocumented" parameter you need to include in your
page. It MUST be a hidden field value called "p_action". The
form hidden value is either "OK" or "CANCEL" (case sensitive).
Thus, when the form is submitted, this parameter states to

Still problems with ID changing in Teaming 2.1?

They are still problems with changing the ID from user in the eDIR when they are
will synchronized with the Teaming system?
In the past it was a very bad thing if the user name (ID) was a shortened form the
name of the user e.g. ssmith for Sarah Smith.
When "our" Sarah has married and her new name was e.g. Sarah Stone, new user ID is
sstone, the Teaming system can't "realize" that ssmith and sstone are the same user.
Is this problem fixed in the version 2.1?

A opened a request by Novell and get the answer that all is still the same since version 1.x.
Maybe this behavior will change in the version 4.x.
It's really sad that Teaming can't handle changed IDs.... really sad....
Than we have two ways... first, we change all our IDs to IDs with digits like 1234 or the second way... we use
SharePoint.... really sad.....
I'm wonder me that we are the only firm with such problem....

Extracting Open Items : Problem with mass activity FPBW

Hi everybody,
I need to extract Open Items in BW. I use the extractor 0FC_OP_01 which extract the content of table DFKKOPBW in OLTP. Open Items are written in table DFKKOPBW by the mass activity FPBW.
I have a problem with this mass activity : the field "Business partner number" stay empty in table DFKKOPBW after the execution of FPBW, whereas it's not empty in table DFKKOP... (and for the cleared items it works...)
Does anybody have a solution for my problem?

CopyRights problem with "expires at the fixed time" uat mode

I found a problem with rights parameter
When I use rights parameter in uat mode or umt mode
it can't be work with this two modes($uat and $umt)
and I found a document in adobe jp
the document says "only uat mode works well with expire function"

I don't see a problem with your code. You might put in a print statement and make sure that strQueryParams contains what you're expecting.
When you're testing, are you using the same book more than once? If so, ACS can get confused about which voucher to use and use an old one.
- either use a different book each time
- or after each test, reset Acrobat or Reader on your test download machine. Adobe has a KB article:

Problem with mass IDoc for Material Master

Hi All,
Can anyone suggest a solution to work with mass IDocs for Material master?
We have DEBMDM and CREMDM as mass capable IDocs for Customer and Vendor. How do we get mass Material Master IDocs from R/3 in a single XML file?
Also the standard Material repository supplied with SAP MDM 5.5 SP3 doesn't have any XSD definition for MATMDM. Can anyone throw some light on this problem?

The standard way to do it is to generate a single file containing multiple idocs (And for the sake of performance, I suggest you stick to this technique).
In the case of material master, everything is straight forward. In the case of customer and vendor master, when data flows from R/3 to MDM no idoc conversion needs to be performed by XI.
However, for the case of customer and vendor master, when data flows from MDM to R/3, XI needs to separate the data in CREMDM to CREMAS and ADRMAS in order for R/3 to be able to process the idocs; as well as separate the data in DEBMDM to DEBMAS and ADRMAS.
The good thing is that you do not need to worry about all this mappings and conversions in XI. The only thing you need to do in XI is to import the standard business content for SAP MDM 5.5 into XI.

Are the problems with Compressor's encoding fixed yet?

Sorry for the slightly vague title but I only use compressor once a year basically, which is after the production of a Christmas show I produce. Last year I upgraded ot Final Cut Studio to do the DVD and got caught out. I encoded using what I thought was the best setting (2 pass variable bit rate) and got jittery encoding. After investigating on this very forum, I found lots of comments about known problems with Compressor's encoding in this setting and ended up re encoding using one pass which was "ok".
I'd rather do the best job I can so the basic question is, "is it fixed yet". Keeping in mind I understand about altering settings so that I can get the time I need onto one disc (110 minutes unfortunately!) What setting will offer me the best possible picture quality, regardless of encoding time, with compressor? Many, many thaks for any advice you regular user can offer!!

Fixed Assets transaction commit

Depreciation runs for fixed assets are not committed until the end of the run. Therfore, if there is even one error, the user needs to run depreciation again for all assets. This can be very time consuming if the installation has 200+ assets.
Depreciation run should be commited at intervals or by asset class (this implies the JE entries are also split)

Yes, I agree with you this commitment for depreciation runs should be separated per asset class or even down per asset as this will make it easier and faster to run the depreciations and correct if neceessary

I have used Nokia mobiles since 1999 and recently "upgraded" from an E71 to an E6. I have found far too many problems with the E6 and would like Nokia to explain what they are doing to fix these issues.
The E6 needs to have the @ symbol in the notifications area at the top of the screen when a new email arrives (like in the E71). It is really shocking that this feature is currently missing - especially as the E6 is supposed to be the upgrade route for E71 / E72 users.
The notification light in the 5-way button is currently useless because it is far too dim to see except in very dark conditions. The light must be turned up much brighter AND it needs to include the option of notifying when emails arrive.
Vibrate is too weak. This needs to be stronger (I believe a firmware update can fix this easily).
Lots of apps in OVI are not yet updated for the higher pixel density E6 screen compared to the E71, so lots of detail and buttons are far too small to use, especially in maps (where the text shrinks too small straight after enlarging a map).
Eg:
- Facebook app (based on the former Snaptu app), works fine but everything is tiny.
- Online maps in ViewRanger (the pre-downloaded OS sheets are fine as they can be enlarged without the text shrinking again).
- Most weather apps
Also, the browser shows web pages adjusted for mobile phones far too small. try looking at the Daily Telegraph webpage - it automatically goes into the mobile site and all text is so microscopically small that it is unreadable (the current solution is to use Opera Mini).
I want the widget that existed in the E71 for email notifications (it shows up a popup with the latest emails) back.
I want the function that tells you how long a call was (like E71) straight after the call.
I want the camera app to be available as a shortcut on the one-touch keys - as this would be the only way to have a physical key for firing up the app. Currently, one needs to find an on-screen icon, which can be a fiddle unless you have the icon on every homescreen.
A better choice of Themes needs to be pre-installed.
I almost feel like ditching my E6 and going back to my E71 because it actually did everything I needed.
