Problems with merging/hiding tabs with multigroup in PC-UI view
Hi,
I am customizing the Products PCUI Application using a ztest view. When i copy selected events within a tab page group to another view ztest, i am not able to see the selected tab for the customized view. One of the events within the tab page group that i am copying to has a Multi Group.
Here's the scenario under the Distribution Chains Tab in Products
The Tab page group has the following events
View Sequence Event Description Multigroup
1 PRD_SALES Sales Data
2 PRD_STEXT Sales Texts
7 CST_100000000000001 Sales and Distribution CST_100000000000001_MULT
Per my requirement, I need to hide only the Sales Text tab in the customized view ZTEST. To satify the requirement, I copied only the events PRD_SALES and CST_100000000000001 into ZTEST view. After the modifications, i see only the Sales Data tab in ZTEST though i have copied the other event CST_100000000000001 also in ZTEST.
I also tried removing the multi group CST_100000000000001_MULT which was under the event CST_100000000000001 while copying. In this case, i am able to see the tab Sales and Distribution , but when i click on that tab nothing happens.
We are having similar issues with applications that are involved with multi group.
How do i resolve such issues involving multi groups? When i checked the multigroup CST_100000000000001_MULT , it had the "Event No Reuse" box checked meaning Event Not Reusable in Other Multigroups. Could it be the reason?
Any insight or alternative for this issue is greatly appreciated.

Homepage opens with two extra tabs with unwanted quicklinks.
Opening my Homepage now also opens two (2) extra Tabs with tile links to Facebook Twitter, and other unwanted sites. This may be Yahoo, which I do not use. Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
You can delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

Help, problem with merging expressions website with dreamweaver

I am hoping you guys have some patience with this question. We created a website with frontpage and it's hosted on an ftp server and we use ftp open and edit the site. My question is, how can I open, work, and edit my site, since it is not even saved on my local hard drive but on the ftp servers of the webhosts.

AndrewI can think of two ways and I am sure there must be many other ways to do what you want to do.
1) You could download the entire site using FTP program like WS-FTP, FileZilla and others. You can point this downloaded folder into your DW when you are defining a new site;
2) The second method is to define a new site in DW and then import a site using DW's own FTP technology; this will allow you to download your entire site from your host.
There are also other tools like WinHTTrack etc that can download the entire site on to your desktop.
The aim is to download everything on to your desktop before doing any editing.

Help with merged cells in table
I'm just learning how to use Dreamweaver 8 and tables. I am
trying to use a table with merged cells filled with graphics --
only one graphic per cell. I make my jpg the size of my cell, which
it seems to fill. Then, when I upload it to view in browser, it
looks as though the graphic doesn't take up the entire cell. At one
point, it was working both in Dreamweaver and the browser. Now, in
the browser view, it looks as though there is extra space above the

Problem with merge using package (row)variable
We're doing an ETL project, where we have to validate data coming from staging tables before inserting / updating them in our data tables.
We use a validate function for this, in which we 'test' our mappings and business logic, and returns 'OK' if no errors were occured.This function is called in the WHERE clause, and populates a package row variable. From this variable, values are read in the insert / update statement, using a get function.
The problem is that sometimes, with a data set with NO duplicate keys, we get an ORA-00001 error, and sometimes not.
Does anyone have any idea why this error could occur ? We're on Oracle 9.2.0.5.0.

/It's not necessarily that the problem is within your package code. As long as UNIQUE constraint exists on DEST table, any MERGE statement may fail with ORA-00001 due to concurrent updates and inserts taking place.
Of course, it's just my guess but consider the following scenario (three sessions modify DEST table in parallel – and to keep this example clear, I put their commands in chronological order):

Performance problem with MERGE statement

I have an insert statement like following which is taking less than 2 secs to complete and inserts around 4000 rows:
INSERT INTO sch.tab1
(c1,c2,c3)
SELECT c1,c2,c3
FROM sch1.tab1@dblink
WHERE c1 IN (SELECT c1 FROM sch1.tab2@dblink);I wanted to change it to a MERGE statement just to avoid duplicate data. I changed it to following :
MERGE INTO sch.tab1 t1
USING (SELECT c1,c2,c3
FROM sch1.tab1@dblink
WHERE c1 IN (SELECT c1 FROM sch1.tab2@dblink) t2
ON (t1.c1 = t2.c1)

VALUES (t2.c1,t2.c2,t2.c3);The MERGE statement is taking more than 2 mins (and I stopped the execution after that). I removed the WHERE clause subquery inside the subquery of the USING section and it executed in 1 sec.
If I execute the same select statement with the WHERE clause outside the MERGE statement, it takes just 1 sec to return the data.

It happens only when we are using MERGE. I have to test what happens if we use a subquery refering to a local table or materialized view. Even if it works, I think there is still a problem with MERGE in case of remote subqueries (atleast till I test local queries). I wish some one can test similar scenarios so that we can know whether it is a genuine problem or some specific problem from my side.

I have 2 problems with merging accounts:
1) Opportunity is not moved from source data to master data. I do not know why. Central BP is changable.
2) Contact Person is only copied, not moved. This causes problems later on when we want to delete the source data.
Any idea how to solve this?

The problem with opportunities in my system is, that they are not merged at all, not even with the batch job. I checked trx. BUSWU02. Node CRM370 is assigned to variant CLEAR_REP.
Also the central Business Partner in opportunity remains changable, once the opportunity was saved.
Anything else I have to check??

While on Safari, or Google Chrome and I click on a story or any where on the page for that matter, and I get bumped to a new tab with a junk site telling me to check my Mac or sign-up for streaming video. MacKeeper, Mac-Messages, Tuneupmymac, DetoxifymyMac, YourmediaHQ, Streamnowmovies, dtv4pc, etc. I also now have a problem with pop-ups which I didn't have before. While shopping on-line now I keep getting pop-ups giving me alternative prices on the same or similar items that I am browsing. I have my pop-up blocker activated, but these are still coming through. Is there any way to clean-up, fix, or block these sites that keep interfering with my internet time? IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY!

V 3.6.13 causes problems with closing "home" tab, and crashing.
I installed v3.6.13 recently, and noted a problem in closing tabs.
* The "home" or default 1st tab of the browser opens correctly and will correctly browse to other sites.
* I can open and close other tabs, however I can not close that 1st or default tab.
* When I have multiple tabs open, I have tried to close that tab with the |X| close tab button, with the left-click and close tab menu command, and using the wheel/center click button. None of these will close that window.
* When I have multiple tabs open, and close all but one other tab, both of these tabs still navigate properly. BUT if I close that next-to-the-last tab, the problem closes or crashes.Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

I open emails with multiple images. The new version is having a problem opening a tab with more than maybe 6 or 7 images. Older versions sometimes had the same problem but the unopened images appeared on the page as a small blank box that you could try to reload. Not anymore. Now you have to reload the whole tab. Sometimes this works other times it doesn't.
You seem to be using a beta version. Maybe go back to a regular release and wait for V. 30 to become a regular release, and maybe whatever bug it is will be fixed.

Had problem with DSL, now have only one tab with favicon matching that tab.
After a storm I had a problem with my U-Verse DSL. I lost access and got a message that it may be due to a problem with the filters on my phones, fax or satellite box. I disconnected all the items that had filters. I was then able to click on a link that AT&T had sent on the message and I got a response, I previously could not get a response because I had no connection. I got pack to the pages on all my tabs by hitting the back arrow on each one. I now have only one tab with favicon matching this WEB site for that tab, the rest all have the AT&T globe. I tried refresh and also opening a new tab and then going to one of the sites.
This problem is on a different PC that the one I am on now. It has version 21, and is Window 7 Home Premium. I have pasted the trouble shooting info from that PC.Hello,

Table cells - Problem with merged cells

I was experiencing very weird behavior with my tables until I realized that it was caused by merged cells
My script gives a dialog which allows the user to choose from which column to start and from which row.
As the script iterates through the cells in the selection I was getting weird results
Through using .select() function I was able to see that depending on the column, some times row 5 could be which seems to be row 3!
The reason was because of merged cells in that row
I.e., when some cells are merged together, only the first column of those merged cells is recognized - the others are not
so it comes out that when merging cells from column 3 to 5, column 3 has a cell in that row, columns 4 and 5 do not, and column 6 does!
Is there a way to get around this behavior?

I've not had a problem opening Word files with tables in Pages. If you're saying Word can't handle tables with merged cells, then don't use merged cells in files you are going to export as Word. Word & Pages must handle merged table cells differently, as I know both can do that. As far as RTF, Pages can open & export as RTF. Again, if you are going to export as RTF, don't use tables. Neither of these is a fault of Pages, just limitations of the formats/programs. -
Trimming tool problems with merged clips
I'm trying to edit a filmstyle sequence with merged clips (created video and audio synched, then merged into new clips). This works fine, except when I try to trim edits in the sequence - the trim tool works, but the picture in the left and right trim windows jump to different parts of the clips being trimmed, and do not show the correct frames being trimmed. The trim tool works fine when used with unmerged clips, but somehow can't seem to work with the synched up clips
The footage being edited was shot on RED and is in pro rez 4:4:4 format.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a bug, or is there a way around this? Thanks for any pointers...I created a new user account and trashed my preferences and I have the same problems. I created a new project, and new sequences. Same problems.
It only happens with 23.98 (batch reverse telecined using Cinema Tools) NTSC DV clips that have been merged with separate 24-bit 48 khz Quicktime audio clips (converted from BWF using BWF2XML). Clips that were captured from the tape with audio and video simultaneously don't have this problem. The discrepancies between the actual amounts trimmed and the white numbers in the trim windows are consistent. If it's off by 6:10 on a clip, every time I try to trim that clip it will be off by the same amount. But the number varies from clip to clip. It's generally 5-8 seconds.
If I try to trim only the audio, I don't have any trouble. If I trim the audio and video at the same time I don't have any trouble. It's only when I trim the video on its own. If I use the original video clip before it's merged with an audio track then it trims fine. If I cut the merged clip into a sequence then delete the audio track from the sequence the problem remains. -
Problem with Tab Key in JFileChooser when Details view is selected.

Iam using a JFileChooser in my application.When i click Details option in the JFileChooser the files with the size,Type and modified date are displayed.
When i am using tab to navigate through the JFileChooser,when the tab enters the area where the files are listed with details,the tab is not comming out of the File List area,instead it is traversing with in the files.How do i come out of the File List area using Tab key.I wanted to make a functionality similar to Windows FileChooser where in if we press Tab it goes to the file list and the next tab focus to Text field and so on.
Is it possible using JFileChooser??
