Problems with my Enterprise Application

Hi,
i just tried to make a simple application to try J2EE.
I created the following "objects":
-> 1 Servlet (code: http://nopaste.info/42c8d821ef.html)
-> 1 pagina html
-> 1 session bean (code: http://nopaste.info/87b315c4ea.html)
-> 1 entity bean (code: http://nopaste.info/bd6cbd3055.html)
My application should try to login using entity bean.
I created entity bean using wizard on netbeans.
When I try my application, it works fine until to try to connect with entity bean.
The issue is the following:

How can I check to solve it?
Thanks alot!

The fact that you can't identify and solve a classnotfound error means you do not know nearly enough about Java to even be thinking about enterprise development. Start at the beginning: learn Java, properly. Not just the language, learn the platform. You may need to buy a more advanced book that covers classloaders, threading, etc. etc.

I am having problems with the Preview application.  When I try to use it to open a pdf document it gets hung-up and I have to select force quit to close it.   Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?  Thanks for any help

Can you open the Preview program without loading a file, like by itself?
If it doesn't load then I suspect a corrupt Preview preference file.
Deleting the System Preference or other .plist file
Can you open other files with Preview, like jpg's and images?
How about other PDFs? or is it just that one you have downloaded?

  • Problems with 3D graph application redistribution

    Hello wireworkers,
    i wonder if
someone encountered problems with distribution of application that
uses 3D graph objects. I've created application that uses NI 3D graph
component and created installer with "Enable 3D graph support"
check box enabled. However after installing this application on the
windows machine without Labview two problems appeared: 1) "Error
loading control. A newer version needed. The default settings for the
control will be used." and after it 2) "You have 30 days to
evaluate the Measurement Studio ActivX control..." and something
like that. I don't get it. Why some newer version is required? and
    what with that evaluation period?
    Have any hints???
Thank you in advance and Merry
    Christmas to everyone.

    Hi Alex,
I tried the process you described on my machine using LabVIEW 7.1 and could not reproduce the behavior.  If you can clarify the version you were using that will be helpful. I will have to clean a test machine and try it again without LabVIEW installed, and get back with you if the problem appears.  In the meanwhile, I found the following KB which, while not referring to the exact same problem you are describing, does address the evaluation message issue.  You can try to follow the steps at the end of the KB, and let me know if that worked.

  • Problem with EM (Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database)

    Hi all,
I've Oracle DB 11g Rel.1 installed on Windows XP SP3. The database is up and running i.e. everyone can connect to the DB by using any App tool e.g. SQL*Plus, Forms, or Reports. It means that the listener and the service is running. But the problem is that when I try to start the EM I see some error messages on the webpage.
    It says:
Enterprise Manager is not able to connect to the database instance. The state of the components are listed below.Database Instance (Green arrow)

    please see the attached file:
http://rapidshare.com/files/404840300/em.JPGI've already checked all the services, they are running. And when I execute emctl command I got the following message.
    emctl status dbconsole
Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Database Control Release 11.1.0.6.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2007 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is running.I have checked some documents around config files in sysman and test_orcl\sysman directories. Moreover, I have checked dbsnmp and sysman account for unlockness and password accuracy. But they did not help me to solve the problem.
My question is if every thing is working fine then what is the problem with the EM? Why it is not connecting to the DB?
    Thanks.

Manager 1 is added to both “Project Managers” and “Resource Managers”. Accordingly he is added to “My Projects” category permission.
Manager2.TeamLead1 (not a descendent of Manager 1) is added to only “Project Managers” and accordingly he is added to “My Projects” category permission.
I want (Manager2.TeamLead1)’s projects to viewable only for his Manager 2 (and the Director), not for Manager 1, because the Manager1 is not responsible for managing his work
    How can I achieve that ?? :)
    Thanks,

  • Problems with User profile Application not available

    Hi
Have a 2 tier SP 2010, with SQL server and a single SharePoint2010 server. We have a problem with the User profile Application service.
The main problem is that we cannot go to "Edit" under Manage User Profiles. If we want to edit a user, we just get an error:

When rebooting the server, we get the following in event viewer: Warning: ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0

    Hi Thomas,
Based on the error message, I recommend to verify the things below:
Please make sure that User Profile Service is started in Central Administration.
Please make sure Forefront Identity Manager Service and Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service are started in services.msc.
Change the schedule for the "Timer Service Recycle" job to run during off peak hours, when a small amount of timer jobs are running.
Check ULS log for more detailed error message.  For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS.
    Thanks,
    Victoria

  • Problems with location based applications

I am having problems with all of my location based applications i.e. none of them work. It seems I can never be located by the GPS no matter where i am and i just get a permanently spinning wheel. I have deleted and reloaded the Apps (although even with the generic Maps App i cannot be located) and i have reset the phone Reset iPhone (but havent Reset Settings or Restored yet). I love my iPhone but this is very frustrating. Can someone please help ?

Didn't work unfortunately. My Location Services were On so i proceeded to Restore. All went ok on the Restore but i still have the same problem. I have 4 App's that are location based and none of them work. Your suggestion ? Thanks for your help.

  • I think I found a problem with the calculator application.

I'm a south korean highschool student and I think I found a problem with calculator application. I use iPod touch 4th generation with iOS 5.0.1. I was playing with calculator app and I found out that 0.1!(factorial) is 0.951350769866873. This can't be right bacause factorial calculation can only be definrd whan n is natural number or 0(in n!). I want apple to correct this error.
And if you are someone working with apple, please let me know the algorithm of factorial calculation(if possible). I would be grateful if I can have a chance to study the algorithm and find out what made 0.1! possible.
    so question.
do anybody know how to send an email to apple? I tried but I couldn't find the address.

Apple doesn't dialogue with users via email the way you want, but you can report such problems to them via
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
But in this particular case you should be aware that factorial can in fact be done for non-integers:

  • Problem with constant "Allow application to use ne...

I just bought this phone today (first Nokia phone) and I'm having a pretty irritating issue with the error message: "Allow application to use network and send or receive data?"  This seems to only happen with my Gmail, fring, and eBuddy applications.  My other applications (like Opera Mini for instance) will ask only once when the app first starts or not at all.
After a bit of Googling and searching the forum I found out that I can go to Settings>Application Manager>Installed Apps, then click the program and change settings for Access Point and Network Access.  Only problem is that for the affected programs the only options under Network access are Ask every time and Not allowed.  I've tried closing the open program and trying this, as well as with it open.  I've also tried restarting the phone and uninstalling and reinstalling the phone but neither helped.  I'm a little stumped and this is a big issue for me since I am planning on using those applications pretty heavily so having to constantly select Yes everytime the program accesses the Internet will be annoying.
Thanks in advance for any help.

No, unfortunately.  I did a little more research and apparently the problem is caused by something AT&T did that doesn't allow unsigned apps to change permissions besides the Ask Everytime and Never Allow.  And it looks unlikely that the phone will be able to be unlocked or unbranded to change this since it uses different software or something.
Which makes this phone worthless to me (well that, plus some other niggling issues).  I'm keeping it until my next paycheck, then taking it back and exchanging for another phone that will do what I want.  I'm a little upset at AT&T for crippling this phone like this, and I'm also upset at Nokia for allowing AT&T to cripple the phone so badly.
And scooby, what do you mean by Maps?  I use the Google Maps app as well as the Telenav GPS app and neither one has a problem with receiving data.  I never get prompts from either program.

  • Linked Folder Problem with Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse

I need to migrate an Eclipse/Tomcat dynamic web project to Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse/WebLogic.
The Eclipse/Tomcat shares JavaScript files with other projects by using an linked folder /JS under WebContent. It works fine. But the migrated version in Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse shows warning: "Resouce WebContent/WEB-INF/JS/Common.js not found." (Common.js is a JavaScript file in the folder /JS). The linked folder is under WebContent, not WebContent/WEB-INF. For some unknown reason, the mapping is not correct. I deleted and re-created the linked folder, it was still the same. I then delete the lined folder and created a real folder and copied the files into under WebContent/JS folder, it solved the problem.
I want to use linked folder because I do not want to maintain multiple copies of the same set of files. Please help to solve this mapping problem with linked folders.
    Thank you,
    Jerry

Thanks -- I tried Kosta's suggestion (which I had tried before) but still the same error.
I realized that on my development install (the rest of my team has a year+ old install) that I installed weblogic 12c version 12.1.3 (they have weblogic 12c 12.1.1).  12.1.3 requires jdk 1.8, correct?  I started eclipse w/ jdk 1.8 & no more error.  I added jdk 1.7 (jdk 1.7.0_45) as the default Java compiler in my Eclipse STS (sts 3.6.4; luna 4.4.2).
When I added a weblogic server instance to eclipse, 12.1.3 would not accept the jdk 1 compiler - it needed java 1.8.  So ... I specified that.
I haven't tried it yet but -- is it ok to compile the code w/ jdk 1.7.0_45 and deploy it to weblogic 12.1.3 that uses jdk 1.8.0_40?
    Thanks,
    Bill

  • Problem with BEx Web Application Designer

    Hi,
we use since last week the Web Application Designer with the SAP GUI 7.2.
Now I have a big problem since last week. I can call existing templates but unfortunately not change! I make a change in the template and save it. When I viewed the template again but no change is saved!
A new template I can create and change
Does anyone know the problem? The behavior also occurs with the old Gui 7.1.
    Regards
Edited by: Jana VOGL on Oct 18, 2010 10:14 AM

    Hi Jana,
Do you get any error before opening of an existing template in WAD? Doesn't look to be a problem with the different SAP GUI versions. Maybe somethings gone wrong with the Java - ABAP config settings or Java Portal communication settings. Maybe you should check with your BASIS team on the same. Tell them what the problem is & they will run a trace to figure out.

  • Problem with the Enterprise Manager

    Hi!
I have a problem with the webbased EM (Port 1811). After restarting emctl I don't have any diagram (e.g. for the cpu usage) in the EM. It seems as if there is no picture...
Are there any services which collect these information from AIX?
    Any ideas?

  • Problem with the Enterprise version of Adobe Reader 10.1.3

I tried deploying the 10.1.3 in the way I successfully deployed 1.1 and 1.2, but kept getting errors about a transform on install. I tried installing the patched MSI without any transforms, but still got the error. Then I tried running the download straight from the enterprise distribution link, but that didn't work either, even on a computer without Adobe Reader installed.
I think there might be something wrong with the enterprise distribution.

Our Windwso 7 64 bit systems never had reader v8.
