Process Instance.Task Details.Update Date

Hi experts,
Process Instance.Task Details.Update Date
Process Instance.Task Information.Update Date
From these two dates which one captures the approval task assignment date.
For e.g. If we reassign the approval task after some idle period to another approver which date will give this reassignment date?

There's also information in the OSH and OSI table.
Process Instance.Task Information.Assigned Date
OSI_ASSIGNED_DATE
Process Instance.Task History.Assign Date
OSH_ASSIGN_DATE
You might need to create an approval task and have inserted, and then reassign and do some testing to find the actual value you need to search for.
Another note, any open task that is Rejected, Waiting, or Pending will be in the OTI table which should contain all these values.

  • OIM 10g : SQL Script to Delete or Cancel process instance tasks for user resources

    Hello,
    I have users with a resource with a process instance that have a large number (1000) of task instance related to reconciliations (Reconciliation Update Received).
    And when trying to revoke this resource, OIM take a long time to perfom this job, it is due to the fact that all this taks are canceled one by one...
    My question is : I want to perform manualy using a script this cancel of all this tasks, or maybe better, delete all this tasks when there'are too many, can someone provide me this sql scripts.
    Thanks in advance.

    I'm running this script into an adapter with the following code :
    public boolean clearTaskInstances(String user_key, String process_name, String task_name) throws OIMException {
      $logger.debug("Utils.clearTaskInstances() : Inside deleting task instances debug 1");
      tcDataProvider provider = getOIMConnection().getDataBase();
      $logger.debug("Utils.clearTaskInstances() : Inside deleting task instances debug 2");
    String query = "DELETE FROM OSI WHERE OSI.MIL_KEY=" +
      "(SELECT MIL.MIL_KEY FROM MIL WHERE MIL.TOS_KEY=" +
      "(SELECT TOS_KEY FROM TOS LEFT JOIN PKG ON PKG.PKG_KEY=TOS.PKG_KEY WHERE PKG.PKG_NAME=" +
      "'" + process_name + "') AND MIL.MIL_NAME='" + task_name + "'" +
      "AND OSI.ORC_KEY IN (SELECT ORC.ORC_KEY FROM ORC WHERE ORC.USR_KEY='" + user_key +"'))";
      $logger.debug("Utils/clearTaskInstance : Delete Query = " + query);
      PreparedStatementUtil preparedStatement = new PreparedStatementUtil();
       preparedStatement.setStatement(provider, query);
       try {
       preparedStatement.executeUpdate();
      $logger.debug("Utils/clearTaskInstance : Delete Query executed");
      return true;
      } catch (Exception e) {
      $logger.error("Utils/clearTaskInstance : Error while executing Delete Query : " + e);
      return false;
    , but this generate 18M of SQL error logs !!
    The same SQL request in SQL Dev works fine, the same code with OIM 11gR2 works fine too, the problem seems to be only with OIM 9.1.
    The first lines in the logs are :

  • Completed Process instance - History of Context data

    Hi,
    I've a completed process instance. I'm able to look for that process instance at "Manage Process" -> ....... -> "Advance Search".
    My question is, how can i view the history of the context data for each of the tasks of the completed process instance. When i select the the process instance and click "Show Tasks" button, i couldnt see any task instance ID for that completed process instance.
    Any idea?
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.
    - julius

    Hi David,
    Thanks for the reply.
    I'm interested at the context data/input/output parameters of all the tasks in a completed process instance, for debugging/administration purpose.
    completed tasks cannot be returned to the NWA even though they are partly available in the system.
    Can you explain more about "partly available in the system" ?
    Thanks,
    - julius

  • Parameter prompts-  Displaying task details between date range

    Hi all,
    I have created a report ( Crystal reports 2008) which lists task related details( distinct count) by region, customer and work type. I created two parameters to let the users specify the date ranges. Based on the user inputs, the title of the report would be " there are -- tasks between the user specified date ranges//-- and -//".  I am not sure how to go about displaying the title in the format specified.
    It would be great if you guys could give me your suggestions on this.
    Thanks a lot,
    Vinne
    Edited by: Vinnie_uic on Jun 8, 2010 9:32 AM

    Hi, I don't have 2008, but this should still work.
    You can add your text as shown.
    " there are   tasks between the user specified date ranges and  "
    Add your parameters to the report, also add a counter for your tasks.
    then you just drag and drop those into the title.
    When you edit the title it "May" look like this.
    "There are {@Count_of_Tasks}  tasks between the user specified date ranges {?Start_date} and {?End_Date} "
    but it should display as
    "There are 15  tasks between the user specified date ranges 5/20/2010  and 5/17/2010 "
    If that does not work for you, use the & sign, and create your formula like this.
    There are &" "& {@Count_of_Tasks}&" "&  tasks between the user specified date ranges &" "&{?Start_date} and&" "& {?End_Date}
    I hope the formatting is correct for 2008

    Hi
    It seems you used infopack when you select update data inot datatarget then system prompts you a infopack.That's the infopack which is generated by system being used in process chain variant to update data into datatarget.
    Create new infopack/ DTP manually then use that infoapck/DTP on the process chain variant then try.

  • How to Obtain taskId of a particular process instance

    Hi All
    I have a requirement to receive input & feed the received input for approval (through human task). I would like to bypass the login aspect for the human task & directly display the particular instances task details. I don't want to display all the pending tasks (in a worklist fashion).
    My flow will be as follows:
    Person A initiates the process & feeds input.
    The next task is a human task.
    Person A/Person B should see the input fed by person A in the human task for this current instance.
    Is there a way to pass instance id or task id across the entire workflow? Based on task id, I can display the payload form directly for human task.
    Thanks
    Badri

  • BW 3.5 - Update to PSA only / Read PSA and Update Data Target

    Hi Folks,
    I am planning to use on a  BW 3.5 data source and infopackage that loads to PSA only (as the source system job runs quite long and we would run other prepration loads in parallel before pushed to final cube). And then later in the process chain the process Read PSA and Update Data Target to load the data to final cube.
    As we plan to run the process chain 3 times a day I was wondering if the Read PSA and Update Data Target always takes only the latest request loaded to the PSA (as it is always the same infopackage) or do we have to delete the PSA request at the end of each process chain run so that not the next run will load the PSA request again as it is still in the PSA?
    Thanks for all replies in advance,
    Axel

    You are loading the Delta till the PSA, multiple times a day, and after each update to the PSA you will send the data to the Cube.
    Once its there in the PSA, you are performing further tasks & then updating the cube multiple times (once after each delta)
    Well, the 1st load to the cube should be OK.
    But, from the next load onwards, it would pick up all the requests from the PSA & you will have wrong values in the Cube.
    Because, i think, while using 'Read PSA & Update the Target', you can't set it for a FULL or a DELTA load.
    It will bring in everything that exists in the PSA.
    I would advice you to clean the PSA before the starting next Delta.
    But, there is a counter argument.
    If the data mart sign is reflected in the PSA for the request that has been loaded into the cube, then the next time the system will pick up the request which does not have a data mart symbol.
    You can always give this a try in your Dev system.

  • Process Instance Monitoring

    During the Process Instance Monitoring mechanism, the data generated as process instances execute is initially stored in the runtime database. How can I configure the monitoring information to go into a database or a local file?

    Namrata,
    The run time bean information is also stored in the default database pointbase of weblogic.You can point this database to any other database like Oracle ,db2 etc.You need to run the databse scripts which you can find in the installed directory.
    You need to create a connectionPool,JNDI and need to use this JNDI name in the weblogic server Admin console.
    Or you can change the default database setting during the domain creation.
    Hope this helps you.
    Regards

  • Integration Process Instances

    Hello Dudes,
                            Is there a way where we can check the Integration process instances executed/running
    till date.
    Is there any way to achieve this.
    Thanks in Advance
    Rajesh

    Hello,
                 I have executed the integration process scenario and i checked in the transaction SWWL
    with all possibilities but still no luck
    FYI , i am working on PI7.0
    Is some configuration missing any clue?

  • Custom ADF Application with Process Instance Details Task Flow

    Hi,
    I want to use Process Instance Details Task Flow which is referred to in the doc below.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/user.1111/e15175/bpmug_ws_taskflows.htm#BACDBDJA
    But I could not find the task flow in the JAR files nor in the libraries described in the doc (Actually I could not find one of the JARs itself, adflibWorkspaceTaskFlows.jar).
    Does anyone know where can I find it and how to use it?
    It is more convenient if I can create a custom ADF application which contains information on process instance details using Java API for BPM.
    So I'd like to also ask whether such API is available or not.
    Regards,
    Kenji

    +1
    I also can't find the adflibWorkspaceTaskFlows.jar from the specified directory in the [ BPM Users Guide|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/user.1111/e15175/bpmug_ws_taskflows.htm#BACBBDCE] : "$FMW_HOME/AS11gR1SOA/soa/modules/oracle.soa.worklist_11.1.1"
    When I tinker the OracleBPMWorkspace.ear from the $SOA_HOME\soa\applications, it has the OracleBPMWorkspace.war that contains the adflibWorkspaceTaskFlows.jar in its WEB-INF\lib directory, but the adflibWorkspaceTaskFlows.jar does not contain the "processApplicationsTaskflow.xml" or the "processInstancesTaskflow.xml". Those task flows were present in the WEB-INF itself of the OracleBPMWorkspace.war itself which is not deployed as an ADF library.
    Please advice,
    Rommel Pino

  • Fetching process details using process instance id

    Hi,
    I have process instance ids captured in a CE table and I am looking to include a feature in existing UI5 application to use the process instance id and fetch it' s corresponding process details like history, context data etc., back to UI.
    Any helpfull doc/ ideas on how to implement this will be appreciated.

    Hi Jun,
    I didn' t get a chance to try on process histroy however with the responses seen here looks like it is not possible.
    Currently I am able to get the task details like the claimed user, list of potential users yet to claim the task etc., which is still usefull in my case.

  • Process Visualization: Task / Activity Instances in wrong order

    Hi,
    in the visual process flow I "zoom" into a human task (details" of a task), which has more than one instances. These instaces are not sorted for any criteria... For Example:
    Instance 1: Start at 4/19/.2011, 3:00 pm (In progress)
    Instance 2: Start at 4/16/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    Instance 3: Start at 4/17/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    Instance 4: Start at 4/10/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    I want an instance order like this:
    Instance 1: Start at 4/19/.2011, 3:00 pm (In progress)
    Instance 3: Start at 4/17/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    Instance 2: Start at 4/16/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    Instance 3: Start at 4/10/.2011, 3:00 pm (Completed)
    Is this possible...?!

    Hi,
    Task List is dependent master data of Work Centers. Even though you changed Activity type in Work Center, that will not reflect in Task List which had been uploaded before changing.
    There are two options.
    1. Manual - Go to each Task list, remove that work center & again select the same work center, so that, changed (i.e., correct) activity type will be placed in operations.
    2. By BDC - Write one BDC program to change this. Here only for that work center, you need to change. So by considering that work center as sorting condition, you should write the program.
    In the Task list, if all the operations are having same work center, then you can change the same in Task list header. But if you have assigned different work center for different operations, then you have to do at operation level.

  • Error while updating Date Field on Process Form.

    Hi,
    I am using java code to pre-pop date on the process form.First I used a java code whic took java.sql.date as input and returned the same java.sql.date.But it gave an error that:java.lang.String cannot be converted to java.sql.date.......
    So I changed the java code and now it takes string as input and returns java.sql.date. This code works fine for Pre-pop adapter and the date is populated on the process form.
    But when i use the same code in a Process Task adapter to update the date, then it gives the following error:
    ERROR [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' XELLERATE.ADAPTERS - Class/Method: tcAdpEvent/updateDataSetValuePost encounter some problems: Adapter Execution Error: updateDataObjFieldValuePost: error updating UD_OID_USR_DATE_OF_BIRTH
    ERROR [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' XELLERATE.ADAPTERS - Class/Method: tcAdpEvent/updateDataSetValuePost encounter some problems: {1}
    Can anyone suggest any method to update date field on process form?

    Hi Abhi,
    Can you tell me how you have implemented populating an UDF based on Prepopulation of another UDF. I have a similar kind of requirement. It would be great if you share your code or relevant part of it.

  • Project Pro corrupting task details (% complete, start date, due date) on SharePoint Online

    I think I've found a bug with Project Professional for O365 Client ... or it may be 'intended' behavior that's potentially quite destructive. Sorry for the long post.
    Here's my scenario. I have a 'project site' set up in SPO. I use the richness of Project Pro Client to update tasks in that project, and members of my project team update their tasks using the basic SPO interface through web browser.
    Here's my problem ... two in fact.
    #1 - whenever I open Project Client and access the tasks in the SPO project site, it (Project Client) randomly changes some info about some of the tasks in the project ... at the time the Client OPENS. E.g. % complete, start date, end date are some of the fields
    that are being clobbered by the Client. But only on some tasks, not all. So imagine a task is 100% complete. Open the Client, and it also shows the task 100% complete once all the synchronization with the SPO task list is complete, but now go look on SPO (while
    Client is still open on my laptop), and the task suddenly shows 50% complete. Now close the Client WITH SAVE, and it sets the task back to 100%. But close the client WITHOUT SAVE (remember, we haven't changed anything, so why would I save?), and the task gets
    left at 50% complete in SPO. Same behavior with dates. And again, Client is not doing this with all the tasks in the project, just some of them, and I haven't been able to find the pattern.
    #2 - Project Client, for whatever reason, creates a new version of each task in the project on SPO, even though nothing changed about the task (i.e. no updates to % complete, start date, end date or anything else). I have versioning turned on so that I can
    see the history of each task (i.e. see who changed/updated each task and when). Problem is that the Client is adding a new version each time I run it and access the project, causing old version info to be dropped (because I limit the number of versions to
    20), making it impossible for me to spot legitimate changes to task details among all the 'false' version changes generated by the client.
    I have a test project with just 3 tasks set up on my test site. I'm able to reproduce the behavior above every time (i.e. it's not intermittent).
    Has anyone out there had similar unexpected behavior from the Project Client/SPO project site combination?

    Hi rexcs,
    Since this thread is more related to Visual Studio Online, I will move it to the right forum for a better response. Thanks for your understanding.

  • How to access biz data of process instances in workspace at any time in 11g

    Hi,
    We are using Oracle BPM Suite 11g.
    Our users want to be able to check and search the business data associated with the process instance at any time (i.e. even after the instance is completed. And the business data should be included in the task list or search result list in the BPM workspace.
    I am new to Oracle BPM 11g. Please help. For the data to be displayed in the workspace, should I define them as “Process Data Objects”?
    Regarding to how to display the data, I find something about Flexfield. But the Oracle document says the Flexfield is for the data that saved in human workflow database schema. When the process instance is completed, will the data in human workflow database for this instance be removed? Can I setup flexfield for the Process Data Objects?

    Hi Ramandeep,
    Apparently I am not getting the required exception.
    I have a TF that outputs an Invalid Region Site when I run it and the when I run it I only got the loading page image of ADF.
    Looking at JDEV logs, I see an Invalid Region Site error
    Here's what I did, I created a TF template with only one view in it like this.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <adfc-config xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller" version="1.2">
      <task-flow-template id="TFTemplate">
        <default-activity id="__7">errorPage</default-activity>
        <exception-handler id="__14">errorPage</exception-handler>
        <view id="errorPage">
          <page>/com/test/errorPage.jsff</page>
        </view>
        <use-page-fragments/>
      </task-flow-template>
    </adfc-config>My error page as this:
    <af:panelGroupLayout id="pgl1">
         <af:outputText value="Error has occurred!" id="ot2"/>
         <af:outputText value="#{pageFlowScope.MyErrorHandler.stacktrace}" id="ot1"/>
    </af:panelGroupLayout>...and my bean.
    public class MyErrorHandler
      public String getStacktrace() {
        ControllerContext context = ControllerContext.getInstance();
        ViewPortContext currentRootViewPort = context.getCurrentRootViewPort();
        Exception exceptionData = currentRootViewPort.getExceptionData();
        if (currentRootViewPort.isExceptionPresent())
          if(exceptionData!=null)
            return exceptionData.getMessage();
        return null;
      }But exception data still returns null.
    I exactly wanted to show this invalid region site but it seems I cannot catch it.
    Any idea why?
