Processor won't go to C3 state in 2.6.28 kernel until usb.autosuspend

Hi,
I was trying out the new kernel to give a try to some of the goodies before it arrives in the official core repo. However I noticed a change in behaviour of the system, and want to ask here if it is the same for others as well, before I go filing bug reports and stuff....
I have an EeePC 8G. When using the stock 2.6.27-ARCH kernel, and checking powertop, when the CPU was idle, it went down to the C3 state very nicely (~100% residency). Powertop suggested enabling usb.autosuspend, but even right after boot, without any fooling around, C3 was the norm....
I compiled the 2.6.28 kernel using the arch stock .config (only changing the CONFIG_LOCALVERSION_AUTO=n), loading it up with 'make menuconfig' and saving it (so the unknown options will be their defaults), it behaves differently.
After boot, the processor cannot go lower than the C2 state until I enable usb.autoconfig, then it will drop to C3 state when idle....

Does this behaviour how up for anybody else with the new kernel? I guess it is not very good for power saving....

1. Boot into recovery
   o Press and hold Power, Choose "Restart" option
   o When screen turns off, press and hold Volume Down and Power
2. When the white HBOOT screen appears, use the volume button to move down to “RECOVERY.”
3. Press the Power button to select “RECOVERY.”
4. When the triangle and exclamation appears, hold the Volume Up and Power button at the same time.
5. Using the volume button, scroll down to “Wipe cache partition” and select it.
6. Select "Reboot system now"

If your phone is still not booting up after these steps, the device may need to be replaced thru warranty. Let me know if you still need assistance.

CS6 Image Processor won't run

My company just updated our systems to CS6. I use the batch processing of the Image Processor a LOT, day to day.
Everytime I try to run it now, I get "There were no source files that could be opened by Photoshop".
The folder is full of jpgs....which open just fine in photoshop if I open them manually.
I've reset the settings file, rebooted my machine, still won't run.
Can anyone offer any help? Photoshop seems to be working fine on it's own, I'm only having trouble with the Image Processor :\

Processor won't go faster than .79Ghz

I have a Pavilion 23 g010 all-in-one. It has an AMD E2-3800 APU quad core with a 1.3Ghz max speed. The processor runs at .78Ghz and sometimes bumps up to .79Ghz, but never higher. Programs are slow to respond and so are web pages. I've adjusted the processor min state between 50% to 100% and it doesn't change anything. Thank you.

The CPU section of the Performance tab is giving you a view of what is happening at that moment in time. It is not necessarily telling you the full speed of the processor. For instance, my Split x2 has a 1.6 GHz processor. At this moment it shows "Utilization" 3% , "Speed" 0.58 GHz. The speed never goes above 1.01. I have 94 Processes running. I hope this gives you a better understanding of this section of the Task Manager. If you want more information about the Task Manager, there are numerous guides online. A Google search will find many of them.

G5 running Power PC processors won't boot.

I am using an older G5 running on a PowerPC processor. The system boots with a blank screen except for a small box in the center flashing between a question mark and a Finder icon. How can I resolve this. The most important thing is for me to get my email addresses back.
I also have a current Mac Pro. Can I copy the files from the old boot drive to my new machine?

That means that the Mac can't figure out what to use for a boot device, which in turn means that the drive has failed or the PRAM battery may have failed. Boot with an "option" key held down. If after several minutes you see the internal drive, select it, then tell it to continue to boot. If you don't see that drive, boot from the "system restore" discs that originally came with that Mac or from an OS X installation disc. Early in the installation process you should see a Utilities menu. Run Disk Utility from that and see if Disk Utility can see the internal drive. If it can't, that's a bad sign about the state of the disk.
I also have a current Mac Pro. Can I copy the files from the old boot drive to my new machine?
Try booting the G5 Mac with the "T" key held down, then connect the two Macs with a FireWire cable. If the G5 disk appears on the Mac Pro, you may be able to copy from it.

Bridge to Photoshop Image Processor won't run

I'm using Photoshop CS3 Extended - V 10.0.1 and Bridge V 2.1.1.9
I'm trying to run some photos through Image Processor via Bridge. After selecting all of the photos, selecting Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor, Photoshop opens, but the Image Processor doesn't run.
I've tried processing other photos in other folders and it works fine. Then I tried processing the problematic folder on a different computer with no luck. There just seems to be an issue with this group of photos.
I check the information on the photos and they're not locked or anything. I'm not sure what else to do. Any ideas?

Try run the Image Processor directly from Photoshop menu File->Scripting. See if you can select the folder and run the processing.
What is the special with that folder? such as size, permission, special name or special file?

Screen blacks out after a few seconds and won't return to normal state.

I have the 30 gig ipod photo that i got about a year and a half ago. Whenever I look at the screen to access music or anything, the screen blacks out like there's a screensaver or something and won't return back to normal. Even after I reset it, it stays normal for a few seconds and then blacks out again. The backlighting still works so it's just a bright black screen and I have function of the click wheel because it clicks everytime I move up or down. I already tried restoring it so I am all out of options. Anyone PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks

This happens rarely but consistently! I't seems to happen about 5% of the time waking from sleep. It MAY be more prone to happen if I had been moving with it in my bag, but it can happen at any waking time after any duration of sleep.

When in Bridge, my image processor won't work anymore

When I am in Bridge I go to Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor and the dialog box doesn't come up anymore. It does nothing. I use Creative Cloud and all plugins are updated. Help!

I once had functions like Photomerge go kablooey when I uninstalled Photoshop CC (once I was comfortable using Photoshop CC 2014). A complete uninstall and reinstall fixed it.
Do any of the other Photoshop tools function properly?

Image Processor won't run action correctly

I have CS6 (CC) on a Mac (2013). I wrote an action for saving my work. In my normal .psd file, I use multiple layers for editing, etc. I also use a group folder for my B&W conversion. I made an action to utilize the saved .psd file to save both the color and the B&W versions. The B&W action works completely fine. However, the Image Processor will not properly run the color action. It tells me that "The object “layer “B&W”” is not currently available." If I open a .psd file and run it manually, there are no issues.
What am I doing wrong or what do I need to change to have the IP correctly run the action?

If you are getting the blank app update screen, and, many people are having this problem over the last several of days:
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. Apple needs to fix this. It is a workaround only until then.
Or try this from Apple:
I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Graphics processor won't activate.

Just installed CS6 Extended, and it said my graphics driver wasn't working properly or was damaged. Went online, found updates and installed them, but I still can't get the graphics processor to activate. What else can I do to correct this? Will it still work without that feature active?

And what graphics card are we talking about? On what system? Hardware support is specific and on some systems simply not avialable.

OWB won't generate an UPDATE statement

I have a mapping which I am attempting to do a MERGE (UPDATE/INSERT) statement on. The mapping validates, however, when I generate the SQL for the mapping, it does not generated the MERGE statement SQL. It is like the portion of the mapping does not even exist. I went ahead and tried to do a simple UPDATE statement, and the same problem exists...it will not generate the portion of the mapping that I try to do the UPDATE statement on. I can do an insert statement and the code will be generated, but the UPDATE is a problem.

I use one source table and one target table (ID filled by a sequence, another column is the unique key)
I want to use the INSERT/UPDATE as loading type, but OWB creates only an INSERT statement (without an update) and no MERGE-statement.
If I use the UPDATE/INSERT as loading type, OWB creates two cursors (update and insert).
What's going wrong?
And why doesn't OWB create a merge-statement??
I've created mappings like this one and that worked fine.
Is it a bug in OWB?
(And when I delete the sequence, still the same (wrong) result)

                ..etc I didn't post the whole thing because it's huge. I'm using bluej and i put a breakpoint in, when it gets to the if (selection == "1") satement, the debugger tells me it's got the value "1" but it skipps over the if statement that should be true :S

So I updated the itunes and now it won't open it, it states a message "the itunes library.itl" cannot be open because it was created by a newer version of itunes, I have unistalled and re-installed newer and older version and still i get this message.
