Production error in form printing

Hi All,
I am getting error in production server for invoice layout .
we are sending the invoice layout through e-print as pdf file.
so we are scheduling batch job for invoices.
in that batch some of invoices getting extra lines in main window.
could anyone suggest any guidence.

Hi friend,
Just check through debugging whether any of the data, which you are printing in form contains unwanted white spaces. If it is there then before printing the data, take that into a variable say String and condense it. So then the values can be printed without unwanted spaces. I hope this will solve your problem, try this and update me in case of any concerns.

I have a error in form printing

I am using 4 ddic tables as follows:-
Building:-
                  Building_id (primary key)
                  Name
                  Address
Property:-
                   Flat_id (primary Key)
                   Building_id (foreign key relation to building)
Booking:-
                  Flat_id (foreign key relation to property)
                  Cust_name
                  Cust_add
Payment:-
                 Pymnt_id (primary key)
                 Flat_id (foreign key relation to property)
                 Date
                 Amnt
                 Currency
I generate 3 reports as follows:-
1)      Total Property (displaying flat_id Building_id name address)
2)      No Of bookings (displaying flat_id building_id cust_name cust_add)
3)      How much payment.
1:    When i used SMARTFORMS in my reports problem is tht i for data i am using internal table of composit type means some fields from one table and another field from another, but in using smartforms i need to specify a internal table tht can only be like some DDIC structure.
Like in second report flat_id , cust_name, cust_add come from one table and building_id come from another table. Now how i can pass this table to smartforms so tht it can process this.
2: have a problem when i want to print currency field 'AMOUNT ' in smartforms which is a referenced field in ddic so there was an error that 'reference field WA-AMOUNT is unknown in form'.
I am not be able to resolve these problems . Due to this i can not continue further.
please help me.

Hi,
You have to define a structure of same fields which you require and refer that structure to you table in smartforms in both the driver program and smartforms interface
second you have to provide that field which is the currency and quantity in global definitions tab.
or.
declare a field of type p decimals 2 in global definitions and in the
program lines do this provide the structure which contains the amount field as input field and output field as g_amount
G_amount = wa-amount.

Error on server - printing stopped - Very First request to print any report

vs2010 sp2
CR13 sp1
CR12 developed reports requested in app with no mods
I'm getting there but I can't get the very first print request honored regardless of
size to print on the very first request but will print when re-requested.
A very large detailed report (+300 pages) errors as well. The running time is
over 1 hour from rendering to print. The printing starts to spool but errors.
I've caching, sessions to keep the large report alive.
I have also increased timeout on the server.

ActiveX printing fails in the .NET web form viewer when IIS GZip Compression is in use. As a result, the following error message appears:
"A Communication Error Occurred. Printing will be stopped".
Cause
This is a known issue with Crystal Reports .NET. This issue has been assigned Track ID ADAPT00459349. At time of writing, there are no file updates to resolve this issue.
Resolution
To work around this issue, do one of the two suggestions offered below:
Disable compression for the following mime types:
application/x-eor (end of report)
application/x-ack (acknowledgement of printing finishing)
application/x-epf (encapsulated page format)
-OR-
Use HTTPZip instead of GZip for compression.

When I want to report a Production error in Support portal, I got a error like this

As per your query you are not authorised user to log a compliant on SAP Workplace. Please contact your old SAP Basis person who is working earlier you. If you are not getting any support form him then sand a latter to SAP through your Director or CEO who is responsible person. Then sap will enquiry over the phone and ask some hardware information to you, if you fullfil then the will assign the password or create new user for you.

Error during COA print out from QC21

Hi All.
I am facing an error during COA print out form Trx.QC21.
The error along with it's diagnosis is paster here.
Message no. QC138
Diagnosis
No data is printed for batch number A070030 material 000000000550000063 , plant 1001.
This can be caused by the following:
Not all data was found for a characteristic in the certificate profile that is marked as obligatory.
No requested data was found for any characteristic in the certificate profile.
System Response
The creation of the certificate profile is canceled.
If the certificate is for a delivery item, the status of the message is set to Incorrectly processed.
I have:
Created the profile
Assigned the material to it.
The same MICs are maintained in the I.Plan, Lot, Profile.
The profile is released.

after reading above thread i tried the cycle and succeed only thing i used MIC as ref. char.
just ensure following thingsss.... i wil suggest u try with new data
i wil brief with T_code for other reader also.
1. activate material with batch mangt. (MM01)
2. create Batch wrt above above matl. (MSC1)
3. create Char (CT04)
4. create class (Cl02)
5. create MIC with class char. (QS21) (i think here u used copy model MIC)
6. create cert. profile (QC01 with above MIC)
7. assign matl. to above cert. profile (QC15)
8.Create Insp. Plan (QP01 with above MIC only)
9.create insp. lot (auto or QA01)
10.Do RR, UD (QA32) click on cert. (OR QC22) view Print preview by giving proper inputs.

Compilation Error in Forms 9i

Hi,
My working environment is as follows:
Forms 9i Version 9.0.2.9.0 and Database Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.0.1.1.1.
Database and Developer are in the same computer (Windows XP Professional). Folders are ora90 and 9iDSHome respectively. OC4J is running properly. My problems is:
1)When I try to compile a form, Sometimes an error occurs like : FRM-30087 : Unable to create form file MODULE1.fmx
Could anybody please help me in this regard? I also want to know how to see Error Codes of Forms 9i with explanations.

PROBLEM: Cannot print from Photoshop
After restart error message appears:
— “There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents.”
• All print commands are greyed out and unavailable — even to call up the printer commands cannot be done.
The printer printed fine until about 2 weeks ago when this error message appeared. Printing continues from Pages, I-photo, preview etc. — only Photoshop fails.
The printer has been turned on and off, as have open documents been closed and open etc.. Preferences reset. Repeatedly I have read through blogs and forums and attempted to contact Adobe — all without results
Epson support struggled to find reason and several solutions were tried and they assume this is an Adobe problem.
Running Mac Powerbook X 10.10.2 / Photoshop CS6 13.0.6.x64
Attempting unsuccessfully to print to Epson 3880
What Adobe support will be of help.

Error in Forms but not in sql

hello,
Machine A (win 98, dev) : Forms app(client/server) which calls a stored procedure - works fine
Machine B (win NT) : the same Forms app sends an error raised by the stored procedure (data conversion error);
in the same time, on this machine, the stored procedure works fine if called in a SQL window

Officejet Pro 8625 Printer Error Please turn printer off, then on

Upon power up and connection to wiFi all appeares to be functioning properly. Can even e-print. All is still well when printer goes to sleep (will wake-up and e-print). After about 10-15 minutes will get a white screen with an message "Printer error Please turn printer off, then on" all other lights are flashing including power button. I have tried updating windows and print drivers. This first happened about two weeks ago. After updating print drivers all appeared to be well until three or four days ago then it has all started again. HELP PLEASE

Message no. C+099
Procedure
Please inform your system administrator.
CKMC reports no inconsistency.
Does anyone have any suggestion?

I was able to resolve these issues using the following steps in our sandbox/test environments. I have also included other problems I faced in material ledger month end closing steps for the benefit of readers.
**** Caution: Do not do the following steps in production environment. You will destroy your production data irretrievably. Material Ledger is unforgiving!!! ***
1. For the materials with "Internal Error in Form/Function etc issue, I performed a CKMM in the respective plants changing for 3S to 2S and then did the same in reverse (2S to 3S). Then ran the ML close. This seems to have temporarily solved the problem.
2. I was also getting a short dump -- either during MMPV or during period close in the cockpit. The message at both times was "Error in MLCCS ...". I realized it related to Cost Component Split. I identified the company codes of the materials that caused the errors, then got all the plants within each of these company codes. I ran MLCCS_RESET and then MLCCS_Startup in SE38. Then ran MMPV/ML Close. This seems to have resolved the issues at least temporarily.
3. Occasionally I noticed some "material valuation is inconsistent in valuation area xxxx" error. I executed steps 1 and 2 above in succession. This seems to have resolved the issue temporarily.
4. There was also the issue of "duplicate entry in CKMLKEV" while performing Single/Multi-Level steps in the closing cockpit. This pointed to MLCCS. So I ran step 2 above. Again this seems to have fixed the issue temporarily.
I was able to accomplish all of these using the steps above because these were in our test environments. The reasons as to why these happened are manifold:
MMPV was not carried out for a long, long, long time in certain plants within a company code. When ML is active, it is necessary to close previous period. In cases where MMPV was not carried out for a long time, I ran CKMHELP program to set the material status to 70 for the immediately preceding posting period. This helped run the ML cockpit for the current/previous periods.
Users were processing too many transactions with unrealistically large quantities and prices resulting in overflow errors. I carried out reversal of movements for each process category to reduce the inventory balances to reasonable quantities, and ran MR21 to set the prices correctly. This helped resolve the overflow issue.
Reckless, repeated running of CKMM and MLCCS_Reset/MLCCS_Startup also contributed to these problems. Every time a standard had to be released, but the material status in ML is "30-Quantities and Values entered", would prevent users from doing that. So they resort to CKMM and then reset status using CKMHELP program to set the status to 10 and then release the new cost. It works, but wreaks havoc on ML as a whole eventually.

I checked the routing . There are no activities for the Production order. Can any body sugest any solution for the same. Thanks in advance .

Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMLKEPH_ROLLUP in position 2 with RC 4

The order settlement terminates with the error Message no. MLCCS 099 "Internal error in FORM/FUNCTION CKMLKEPH_ROLLUP in position 2 with RC 4".
The material ledger is active. The actual cost component split is active. I want to carry out the order settlement for one plants.
With the same production material no.in the plant. There are many other productin order are settled in thid period. But, only one production order got the error message, why?
I knew that I could change the Price determ. (in material master) from 3 Single-/multi-level to 2 Activity-related, then I can continute settlement transaction in CO88. But , I want to know what's wrong this the order. What should I check about the order. Why other orders are settled without error with the same material no, and plant.
I had check about SAP note 711416 & 729901 & 523100 & 623701 & 653523, those can't slove my problem in CO88.

But, I have two production orders product the same material in the same plant and will be settled in this period. Both of those two orders were consumed material in 3 months ago. But, only one of them were terminated with error message in CO88. Why? How can I find out the difference between those two orders? They seems the same.
For SAP note 623701 & 871926 & 867755, I think we already implemented those. I had found program "MLCCS_KO88_TREATMENT " in SE38. And, I can find the message 013 & 015 in message class MLCCS. So, do you have other commendations?
Do you know how could I check about "Display order history" that mentioned in note 86775. Which T-code should I go to?

Basic Security & form printing questions.

Hi, I am not an Oracle Forms developer yet, just gathering info, but I have 2 probably simple questions for you forms experts out there that maybe you can help me with.
Lets say that this new application will have 10 users and I create a main menu with 5 categories. Can forms allow me to give 4 users read/viewable rights to, lets say 3 categories,instead of all 5 categories? Bsically I just need to know if it offers some kind of security that I can create for each individual user.
The next question is if I create 10 forms that is supposed to 'retrieve' data, but I need to also have these 10 forms print out 'without' the data. Do I need to create 20 forms, or is 10 sufficient and oracle would allow me to print the forms out either with or without data.

There is menu-level security, meaning that only users that have certain roles may execute certain menu choices.
There's no special security at form level, apart from the database level security.
If a database user does not have insert, update & delete priviledges on a datablock in the form (but has the select priviledge), then, he won't be able to change the data in that block using the form, and if he'd try to, he'd get an error when trying to commit the changes.
Well, you may use set_block_property(your_block, update_allowed, property_true) or set_block_property(your_block, update_allowed, property_true) in the when new-form-instance trigger to make the form behave as you will when opened by a given database user.

Error in Script Printing

I have developed a new Script(Porchase order print), which i have assigned to ME22N through NACE.

There is some problem with the system printer driver. Try to reinstall once again the printer driver.
If not able to update try to print the form from other system.
