Program displaying technical codes in the selection screen during execution

I am facing problem during the execution of the newly created program that during execution of program selection screen is displaying technical codes.
from where to change the settings so that it should show the description

goto se38 ..give ur code name and select change...now on the top u will see Goto..
follow this path Goto >Text Elements > Selection text.
Now you can give the name u want..

Is it possible to display a tag at the selection screen in the output.

Hi all,
   When you go to se38 and in the program editor screen, at the bottom right end of the screen you find a value called NUM and when you place your cursor on that it displays a tag that says "Num Lock Mode. Double click to toggle."
   My query is, when i execute a report it takes me to the output screen that has a parameter, here i want to display a tag, say "enter the record as it is in the database". Is it possible to have such an option.
   If you'll are wondering why I'm looking for such an option it is just to make a report that can be understood by many.
P.S: Not only on the NUM field the tag is available. Even on tools like activate display and so on.

If it's a report program, use a comment in the selcetion screen for information of the user as shown below.
* Information
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK b1 WITH FRAME TITLE text-003.
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT /1(60) text-004. "Text containing the information message
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK b1.
If you are using a module pool, you can create a tooltip for the element as suggested.

How to Display my Form in the selection screen.(without print format)

Hi all,
I did one gate pass form and i want to view the form in my selection screen or output screen(just in monitor) as a display by giving one Z-code.
i.e, we can view the form thru Print preview...the same preview, i want to display after i give my parameter in the selection screen.
For example.ZGPOUT if i enter as a t-code.
it should ask my Gate Pass number in the Selection screen...if its right then my Form will come out to the display screen. (instead of going by Print method).,
Pls post ur comment and reply me with examples,if possible.

To display the selection screen variant name in WAD report output.

Hello experts,
I have a requirement which is to display the selection screen variant description in the output of the WAD report.
I managed halfway, by using the object "Information field", which displays all the values which are selected by the variant.
Example:I have created a cost center report created using WAD, since I need some graphical displays..
In the selection screen, I have the characteristic "cost center" as input field. I have created a variant " GM - IT" which will include few cost centers managed by GM. In the output, I want the dispaly to be "Cost center - GM IT". Currently it displays "Cost Center - a,b,c,d" as the values a,b,c,d are the values from the variant name "GM-IT"
Please let me know if this required any java script. I am not familiar with java / html codes and any help would be much appreciated (and rewarded)

Hi,
Try this.
If you want to include your variables in your WAD means you have to choose "Force Variable Screen" option to be in enabled condition.
TO enable this,in WAD select your Template(New Template1) click the WEBITEM , it'll shows all generic properties , here you can enable this "Force variable screen"
Save and execute your WAD now you can get your variable screen.

How do we make the field's technical name appear in the selection screen

Hi everyone,
When we go into the manage of a target for diplaying the content of the object say active data table of ODS, I can only see the technical name of custom objects( infoobjects) like /bic/zcust but the technical name of the business content Infoobject ( like /bi0/material) is not seen instead I only see the description, How can I see the Technical name in the Selection screen of the data browser

I had a requirement where i had to display a picture on the selection screen, so i used the methods set_position and load_picture_from_url of the class cl_gui_picture to archive this, but now my selection screen has extended to more than one page because of this if i scroll down on the selection screen the picture is not scrolling it is remaining static to the screen ( i.e. if i place it (10, 10) after scrolling also it is still remaining at (10 , 10) with respect to the new screen) is there any way i can scoll the picture also i.e. it also moves up along with the screen?

There could be one option : create one screen and load your picture on that screen.
Within your selection screen, call the screen created above.

Collective search on the Select-options field on the selection screen

Hello experts,
 I have a Y program and a selection screen for it. I have to get the BKPF-BELNR in the search help list. Since the table is too bulky to get all the documents form it. I thought I might need a condition of company code for fetching the documents. I have company code on the selection screen, but if I press F4, on the BELNR, my select-options internal table for company code is remains initial. I think for F4 events the values doesn't get populated in the internal tables, not sure.
 Can you tell me, how to get the company code entered on the selection screen, on the F4 event. Or If this doesn't work, will collective search help solve my problem? If yes, Please let me know, which function module I can use to add a collective search to my select-options on the selection screen.

       In my program i have given the input in selection screen , Its process something and a msg was displayed , and user confirm it to continue , the program take us back to the selection screen - in this case i have to clear all the values from the selection parameters.
I tried lot , but i didn't get this result.
I know this is the standard functionality , But anything is there to clear the selection parameters.

I didn't go through the long list of replies nor I don't know if you gave it a thought, but you can try this,
create a [system variant|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c0/980389e58611d194cc00a0c94260a5/content.htm] (variant name starts with CUS& eg: CUS&BLANK) with the entire selection screen fields blanks and use the following function module to call that variant after msg is displayed.
CALL FUNCTION 'RS_SUPPORT_SELECTIONS'
       EXPORTING
            report               = sy-repid
            variant              = 'CUS&BLANK'
       EXCEPTIONS
            variant_not_existent = 01
            variant_obsolete     = 02.
You can hide the variant by checking the box "Only display in catalog".

Problem with the selection screen in submit program

i am facing the problem wih the selection screen in submit program. in my Module pool program i am using the submit program statement, When i execute the program , The module program display the submit program selections creen.
I have implemented the code same as below.
submit ztest with tknum =p_tknum and return.
Can you pleaes help me how to avoid the submit program selection screen.

You have to give the selection screen values when you submit a job.
Press F1 on submit and you will see more details.

Display Output on the Selection-screen

Could anybody tell me to how to display the name of the vendor/customer next to the input box on the selection screen area ? e.g. As soon as one presses the enter key after entering the vendor code on 'XK03' transaction screen, the name of the respective vendor is shown right next to the vendor code input box on the selection screen area.

In AT-selection screen event write the code for getting the the Customer/vendor Name and display it on the screen.
In-order for the Radiobutton selection process to initiate the 'AT selection-screen' event you need to add the 'USER_COMMAND' option to the parameter declaration. See code below.

To use the selection screen entry in another program

i have a requirement that i want to use the selection screen entry of my zmodule pool to the selection screen of a zreport and want to use its output in my module pool.
how could i do this in my module pool programing??

You can use SUBMIT statement in your module program to call the zreport program in background.
Press F1 on Submit statement and you will find required detials of this statement. For using submit statement
you have to create an internal table of type RSPARAMS and pass it in the submit statement.
eg.

Calling the selection screen of the calling program after the execution of

Hi all,
I had created a program for a purchase order display.
It has three radio-buttons from where i am calling different programs.
I am using submit in the calling program and get parameter in at selection-screen output of the called program.
I am getting the end report without the display of the selection screen of called program. But when i am clicking back on the end-report then i want to come back on the selection screen of the calling program. But i am coming out of the execution.
Can anyone please tell me how to call the selection screen.

Hi, when you do the SUMBIT statement, make sure that you are using the extension........ AND RETURN.
Submit <report> AND RETURN.
This should return control to the caller.
