Program error in class SAPMSSY1 Method When Filtering on Source System ID

Whenever I try to filter my Source System ID in the BEx Query Designer (BI 7.0), I get the error:
Reading Characteristic Values
Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION.
And I cannot filter my Source System ID.
Does anybody know how to resolve this?

Note 656060 - OLAP: Cache main memory displacement not functioning
Note 1114164 - Termination in the cache due to insufficient shared memory
Apply note 1114164 and check if issue resolves or not.

The problem solved when we restarted the server.
but this is coming very frequent.
Is there any permanent soln for this one.

ABEND RSBOLAP (000): Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCE

Hello,
A BI Report contains a field "X" & a field "Y".
Y is a sub part of X. Means on clicking upon X, Y opens.
This report runs on date basis. For each date Y contains Zero value, but in the result Y contains some value greater than zero.
Now when i execute this report in Portal, clicking on X for the dates opens up Y.
But in the result column, Clicking on X giveg the following error:
Root Cause
The initial exception that caused the request to fail was:
Termination message sent
ABEND RSBOLAP (000): Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method : UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
MSGV1: SAPMSSY1
MSGV3: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
Pl. note that this report is running fine in BEx analyer & not giving any such error.

In SE 38 run RSPOR_SETUP and see if all the 12 steps are ok, as I see this is a an issue with java server not able to commute with BI., you need to exchange java certificates to BI and vise versa.,(basis can do this step)

this sounds like an R/3 data quality issue...if the alpha conversion routine is not put in the infoobject maintenance you need to put the alpha conversion hardcoded in the start routine. then reload everything...

Program error in class SAPMSSY1 method

We are on 2004s SP10. I can create queries fine, but can not save them. I created a bex default transport. When I check the query it says it is fine. The error I am getting is "Error in Class SAPMSSY1 Method". I also get an error referencing a 26 or so bit program saying it does not exist. I have not found any threads which from out SP level that match these errors. Any idea? Thanks Steve

This is an issue with Fiscal Year Variant Variable in the query. (Or at least that was our team's issue). To solve this, you have to rebuild the qurey from scratch. Attempting to edit the existing query will NOT fix the issue. Trying to fix it, creates a loop were it again looks for fiscal year variant variable then produces the error.
I solved this be rebuilding the query and adding 0FISCVAR last. Then in the filter, I chose K4 instead of a variable or SAP exit. (sorry if you requirement needs a variable, i would suggest creating a new one of those too). Then save and you should have a working query.
Yes when you check it appears fine, but in the background it is not. When you save the "correct" query, the system looks for the old 0FISCVAR variable and fails to save.

MSGV3: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
I saw in one of the threads to run the Program RSPOR_SETUP and see if all the 12 steps are ok and they are not but they are not ok in Dev and Qua as well where its running fine. Appreciate if somebody can advise.

Hi,
Check your Query in RSRT properties tab and make necessary settings.
Do OLAP check in RSCRM_BAPI t-code. It will show the inconsistencies in your query.......

My JDeveloper doesnt provide the list of classes or methods when editing? This option I can use to autocomplete. For example when I want to code the following code line:
system.out.printlin("Hello World");
The editor doesnt give me the list of the classes when I write system. and doesnt give me the list of methods when I write out.
My complete code is very simple and it is as follow

When I compile this code, the following error I got: Error(6,16): Identifier out not found

When i create source system in BW it is automatically saying that it has
RFC Destination already exists in the source system. Do you want to transfer,check this
destination or cancel the source system?
it has three option copy,check,cancel

1. Check for parameters specified .e.g. password. user name , authorization for the user , ip address etc.
2. While creating source system 1st time in the BW , R/3 client should be open and its status should be changes allowed
.(SCC4-> Double click the client ->
Changes to transport & client specific setting
Changes without automatic Recording
Cross Client object changes
Changes to repo. client ind. object allowed

Automatic payment program - error No permitted payment method exists

Hi All,
I am doing the automatic payment run and done all the necessary config in FBZP.
1) Created the payment program at country level and assigned payment program
2) Created the payment method at company code level for check and assign the Check Form
3) Coming to Bank determination:
   a) Ranking order : given the payment method(A -> Check) ,currency(MYR), ranking order (1) and assigned to house bank (CIMB)
   b) Bank accounts : given house bank , payment method ,currency, account ID and clearing account number.
4) assigned the payment method (A) in vendor master.
when i run the payment run for the vendor in F110 for company code system hitting below errors:

> Payment method selection for items due now to the amount of MYR      112,909.38-
> Payment via payee/payer 0550000008
> Payment method "A" is being checked
> Payment with 28 print items, only 16 are allowed
> No permitted payment method exists

I did check the 1) vendor address -> No gaps
2) My one is check printing not bank transfer
3) I did check all the vendor line items no payment blocks. user already unblock the relevent item to make payment.
Here weird thing is system hitting the same above mentioned error even I updated the payment method(C) and house bank (CIMB) in each and every line item of vendor invoice.

Have you tried removing all 3rd party plug-ins?
Also, resetting preferences to defaults may help... Press and hold Command - Shift - Option immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

Error when creating SAP source-system in RSA1

we have a new bi-installation. the bi-system is running in the SAME system as our erp 2005-system is running.
the bi-client is 700, our source-system (FI/CO) client is 101. I want to create a source-system in RSA1. at the end i get the following error message:
<b>Name D01MAND700 of client 700 is not the same as the name D01MAND101 of the Warehouse

Diagnosis
In order to guarantee error-free communication between the source system and the SAP Business Information Warehouse, the logical system names must be known to both.
The system has established that the selected source system name D01MAND101 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse is not the same as the logical system name D01MAND700.
System Response
Processing has been terminated and all changes undone.
Procedure
Create the source system under the name D01MAND700 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse or change the logical system name for client 700 to D01MAND101 in the ALE customizing screen of the source system.
Note that the logical system name for client 700 may already be being used for other ALE scenarios. If this is the case you are not able to change the name.</b>
i don't understand this error ? is it because the BI-system and the erp-system is the SAME system ?

Error in Process Chain while extracting data from source system

Hi All,
Dail we are facing problem while retrieving the data from source system for the data source 0TB_AMOUNT1 in the process chain, it is giving error "Function module BANK_TMC_API_SIM_GET does not exist Furnction module". when I repeat the step than it is going fine.
Please let me know why this error is coming for first why it is not coming after repeating the step?

Hope you are doing good..
Is it a full or Delta load on a daily basis? Did you check if the FM exists in your system?
Did you try debugging the load in source system and check if the extractor is trying to call FM you mention.
If possible please post the exact error message you are receiving so that we could get an idea whats the error and why you are encountering it.
As of now what i can suggest is, go to RSA2 in source system, give the datasource name and check if the extractor code has FM in it.

When I activate source system in BW, problem with IDoc (ZSBB027) occurs.

I made some enhancing data source in R3 and when I would replicate and activate source system in BW, some error message occurs:
"Type IDoc ZSBB027 BW is not like IDoc in source system,
Incorrect IDoc ZSBA0003 in definition source system."

Hi,
there is no need to activate ur Source system unless if there is any problem in ur Source system.
When ever u do some changes in ur data source then replicate that into ur BW by going into RSA1-> Source system-> right click , Replicate data source. later u can assign that to ur info source..
Once if u do the replication then u have to activate ur Transfer rules by executing RS_TRANSTRUE_ACTIVATE_ALL.
