Progressive Profiling - Lead Source Most Recent Hidden Field - Query String

I've just finished setting up my first progressive profile form and landing page. Caveat: I have not tested it out yet. On my other forms, I'm using a query string to capture lead source most recent as a hidden field. Is it also possible, using the same javascript, to capture that information on the form? I have added the source field to each of my three rule sets - but have no idea if it will work.
Does anyone have any experience in using hidden fields with a query string and javascript in progressive profiling? Wow, that's a mouthful, and I can't even believe I know enough to be able to ask that question.

Great news! Nothing better than solving an Eloqua issue on a Monday!
When you're using the cloud connector the HTML form name in the page code is "CCPPForm" instead of the HTML form name you used in the original form. If you take a look at the code of the page you're working on you'll see a div that includes your form. It should say "id="CCPPForm" name="CCPPForm" in the form tag. Your instance might use something different, but I found using the progressive profile HTML name instead of my form HTML name did the trick. Also just double check to make sure your hidden field is showing for every rule in your progressive profile form rule settings.
If this isn't making sense I'll grab some screen shots for you!

I downloaded open office to my mac to try and save money. It worked well for a while. Now I get this pop-up message that asks me to "Reopen" and when I select the option, nothing happens. I cannot save my documents anymore and I cannot convert them to word. Help!

You may be able to default to DOC, but have not tried same.
Since Open Office is 99% same as Word, I use it, or Word, either one. Open Office is a bit less buggy than Word 11'

How to print only the 2 most recent values in a multi-value table field

Hi there,
I have a history table field in my report that may contain anywhere up to 100 values for any one database record... however for each database record, I only want the LAST 2 (ie. 2 most recent) values of this field to be included in the report. I then want to do a value change comparison and produce a percentage change for the field.
It seems like a simple concept... can anyone assist?

I'm not sure I understand your qeustion.
For example:
The table field may contain a list of 4 values:
(value1) 5000
(value2) 4000
(value3) 7000
(value4) 7500
I only want the report to include value3 and value4, and then I want it to show the difference between these values (ie. 7500 minus 7000) and then also express a percentage change between these two values). I am not sure what kind of formula to use for this.

Most Recent SMS Messages Hidden After Restore

So, I was having trouble with by browser and decided to do a wipe and restore. Turns out the problem was with the google page that i was trying to load, which the browser didnt like very much.
Anyway, I backed up my data right before using the security wipe, then I restored the data from the same backup file and everything seemed to work fine. However, when i go into the hub, i see the previews of SMS's that have been sent to me in the few hours since i resored the phone, but when i select the text, it opens, jitters around a bit, and then only displays texts that i recieved yesterday. Nothing from today.
So since i can see the most recent texts in the hub previews, i know they are on the phone. but when i open the conversation they dissapear...
Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know a fix?

How can I retrieve my most recent tabs after I close Firefox?

This is not a new problem for me - it has been going on for months and months, and I have wasted countless hours looking for a solution - so I decided to post a question on the forum, and hope for the best.
The Problem: Whenever I close Firefox, it loses my most recent tabs, and there is NO way to get them back.
Here's what I have tried:
1. I set Firefox to automatically resume my previous session at startup. ( I did this a long time ago, and have not changed it since. ) When I restart Firefox ( without modifying the sessionstore.js file first ), I get an old session with all 5 of my tab groups present, but with two of them empty.
2. Before restarting, I right-click on sessionstore.js, select Properties, click on the Previous Versions tab, click the latest Restore point, and apply. ( The latest restore point is always at least a week old. ) Now, sessionstore.js shows a size > 1000 KB. When I restart, I get the "embarassing" screen. Clicking Restore gives me exactly what was promised - the set of tab groups that I had over a week ago. This is the best I can do. It does NOT have my LATEST tabs.
3. Before closing Firefox, I copy the sessionstore.js file from my Profile folder, and save it in a seperate folder on my desktop. ( This should contain any new tabs I just opened today, no? ) Then I close Firefox. Before restarting, I copy & paste the copy of sessionstore.js that I just saved into my Profile folder. When I restart, I get exactly the same results as in #2. The tabs I just opened today are gone.
4. When I searched Mozilla support, I came across this page: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-restore-my-tabs-last-time?esab=a&as=aaq . It said "Note: In order to get your tabs and windows back from the previous session, you should close Firefox from the menu:
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Exit." When I close Firefox in this manner, it makes absolutely no difference - the results are the same.
5. A page in Mozilla support also suggested using the plugin Session Manager. I tried this, and all it does is make it easier to go through steps #2 or #3 - the results on restarting are the same.
6. I tried writing a "Bug" to submit to the Mozilla developers, but it's way over my head!
I can't believe that this is the way things are supposed to happen. Surely other people are having the same problem!

So something in the Firefox code was causing the bad behavior. It's not essential that I find out what the problem was - I'm just curious. And if anybody else has this same problem, it might be nice to have it corrected at the source.

SQL to compare 2 most recent rows in table

and select Most recent row if there STATUS values are different.

How to display maximum (most recent) date value in a query

I have the following query:

My dilemma is how to display only the row that has the most recent Date, e.g. here I want to only see the row with student number 0234 and date 07/15/2008; everything else should be hidden.
I know it should be very simple....yes/no?

Problem getting most recently changed item.

Hi,
I am trying to set the value of an item based on the most recent item to have changed.
I have 3 conditional processes which set the value of a hidden item (P1_FOCUS) 'When Any Item in Comma Delimited List Of Items Has Changed'.
Proc1 (sequence 50): If P1_SEL_A changes, P1_FOCUS is set to A.
Proc2 (sequence 60): If P1_SEL_B changes, P1_FOCUS is set to B.
Proc3 (sequence 70): If P1_SEL_C changes, P1_FOCUS is set to C.
If all three P1_SEL... items (select list with submit) are changed at some point, it doesn't pick up the most recently changed item, it just knows they have all changed and therefore the item is set to C as the C process is the last to be run (I assume the processes are run in sequence order?).
Is there a way to only pick up the most recently changed item? Maybe clear the history of what has changed on this page somewhere?
Overall, I am trying to get the last item in changed before the submit so the focus can go back to that item on the page in the page 'on load' process.

ApEx normally generates links that look like buttons by adding styling to an "a" tag.
"a" tags accept focus in the same way as buttons so you have actually lost the focus on the final input field by the time you've clicked the link.
However, you can test this by creating a new button template in your theme. Use something like the following in the Template Text:
<button style="font-family: Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; padding:1px; margin: 2px; text-decoration: none; cursor: pointer;" onclick="#LINK#">#LABEL#</button>
This will create a normal HTML button.
If this doesn't work, can you paste into this thread a copy of the javascript you are using.

Internet Explorer 8.0 did the same thing. This was one of the reasons why I started using Firefox to download all images. I went into Tools>Options and it only lets me set another folder. I dont want to set a specific folder I want it to always go to the last folder used. So what gives?

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Add hidden fields in ALV

Hi all,
 I wanna add a new field in ALV field catalog, so that when user choose function Change Layout to decide which fields are showed, they can choose the new field.
In orginal source, the ALV uses field catalog from structure LIPOV. And the field I wanna add is just a normal text field (char15, for example) and its data will be extracted from a select statement.
So, Here is the logic of report:

Originally, ALV displayed with internal table itab_data.
The new filed is a part of internal table itab_data1.
And the problem is:
When I choose Change Layour (Ctrl F8) to select the new field to display, It does not appear in HIDDEN FIELD.

Thanks for your advice.
I have a new problem. Now, the new field appears in Selection. However, displaying the new field is impossible. My problem is:
- In default, 8 fields will display. Then, I use CHANGE LAYOUT to choose the new field which will be at 9th position. -> I got a dump... It informs that a Field Symbol is not assigned.
- Now, with the 8 fields above, I replace 8th position by the new field => It does not give me a dump but New field shows value of 8th field. I mean, if at first, 8th field is Quantity with value 10. Then I replace 8th field by my new field. When displaying again, it also gets 10 as its value.
- It is so strange. Because in function 'REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY', I used itab_data1, which consists of all field of itab_data and an addition field (NEW). I dont know why it does not show value of the new field while all old fields have right values. (before using that function, I copied all contents of itab_data to itab_data1)

A couple of hours ago I renamed the file and then reopened my file a little while later, but the most recent work wasn't saved even though I'm sure I saved it before closing. What can I do? After updating to iOS 5, my most recent backup is gone! HELP!!

The iPhone update began Wednesday night; before starting, I attempted to do a backup a few times, and it failed. As the update began, the backup refused to work then as well. After a couple attempts with errors, I checked the list of backups in "Preferences" to see when the last backup was recorded. It said "yesterday," which wasn't too far back, so I let the update skip the backup, intending to let my phone restore from the prior day, should it need to.
Later, when iTunes asked me to select a restore, the one from the prior day was missing. The latest backup showed June 22. I let it continue, just wanting to have my phone in a functional state, but somehow hoping that it had it wrong, that it was actually the more recent backup. After following the iOS 5 setup steps, I checked my text messages - and it showed the last texts were from June 22.
A little upset, but not yet giving up, I found the hidden folder where backups were stored. The latest files were also from June 22.
I also checked the Recycle Bin, which contained an .ipsw file. It had the word "restore" in the file name ("iPhone2,1_4.3.5_8L1_Restore"), so I attempted to use it to restore my phone to its prior state by holding down SHIFT while clicking the restore button in iTunes (a Google search led me to this). After 9 attempts at this, I gave up, and brought my phone back to factory settings temporarily, so I could have a working phone before going to school. I found out afterwards that the file was only an operating system file and contained nothing of my former settings (even though one forum claimed to have found their actual backup located in the Recycle Bin in a similar situation).
I'd very much like to have all my recent text messages, etc. back on my phone. I usually backup my phone pretty regularly, so the fact that the "most recent" one goes all the way back to June is positively bewildering. This is really ruining my experience with the new iOS, and my phone in general.
