Dear All,
Can we get the actual cost of project at component level from
PS Report.
Regards,
Nitish

Hi,
Acual Cost can be capture upto WBS/network  levels only.It is not possible to to get it at component level.As cost Object shuld be Unique Number with reference to which purchase or production docs are created.U can strucure ur project with activities n WBS so that u can capture major component cost.
But as in System ur not posting actual cost against Components u can't get such report.

  • Component-level IP

    Hello
    I have a project with myRIO as target device. I added a component-level IP with simple vhdl code. I can see this component in my project explorer but when I drag the inputs and outputs of the component to my block diagram, he doesn't recognise them and says they are of type void when i want to link them. The same thing happens for all the other connectors and I/O onboard. When I drag LED0 for instance from my project exlporer to my blockdiagram it says it is void and I can't use it
    . I can use the myRIO pallette in the blockdiagram to get to the LEDs and I/O but not for my Component-level IP. How can I solve this?
    I also tried to use the hdl interface node but I can't find this on my pallette. I have installed labview, Real time, FPFA, the drivers and the compile tools.
    greetings

    It is fixed, just had to make a new VI under the target.
    compiling problem: error 8
    I turned my antivirus off and unchecked the search fast, are there any other possibilities that could generate this error that i could forgot?

  • Change component level special stock indicator for Purchase Ord-through CIF

    Hai,
    my requirement is to change the the spoecial stock indicator at the component level for the PO .
    The purchase reqqusition is available in APO system.At the time converiosn to PO, the PO will get created in R/3 through CIF.
    When the Purchase Order is getting saved in R/3 then I need to check the component level Special stock indicator(SOBKZ) & I need change its value.
    I am currently using the user exit 'EXIT_SAPLCPUR_001' to change the same.in this user exit, I am changing the component level SOBKZ in the table IT_INPUT & I am also setting X in IT_INPUTX table.
    But the changes are not reflecting in the newly created PO.It always shows the value 'E' for SOBKZ.
    can any one tell me is this the right user exit to change the above value? if yes please expalin me in rdetail on how to change this.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar.

    Hai Saurabh,
    I have tried changing the CP_POSITION-SOBKZ field in the user exit EXIT_SAPLMEPI_006.This one changes the SOBKZ of the item of PO i.e, the change reflects in EKPO table.
    What I am looking for is to change the Component level SOBKZ of the ITEM of the PO.The change reflects in RESB-sobkz table.
    I think,  In the User exit EXIT_SAPLCPUR_001, the field IT_INPUT-SP_STK_IND is meant for this.But this is not working.
    Please inform me how the RESB-SOBKZ can be changed?
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

  • How to extract data from cluster of component levels?

    Uhhh....  you marked your reply as the accepted solution.  Give yourself a cigar!!!!
    Instead of using index, wire the array of clusters to a For Loop.  Set indexing enabled on the input terminal.  Then you can build an array of all the elements if you wish to handle it that way.  You can get an output array for each element in the cluster.  Not sure if this is desirable to you, just a thought.

  • For BOM, LUMF will be maintained at component level?

    Dear Friends
    I want to maintain sales BOM, where pricing inventory, delivery etc. will be done at comonent level. Suppose it is dining set. In this case will I maintain Item category Group LUMF at  the material master of components ? Suppose there are 6 components for the finished product dining set.
    Thanks
    Chandra

    Dear Mukherjee,
    What you said is correct. Once you maintain Material Master with LUMF, the Pricing and Picking will be done at Sub Item level or Component level as you said. Main Item will be displayed, but only for statistical purposes. You need not maintain stock and pricing condition records for the main item.
    Hope this solves your requirement and if any thing else, do mail back.
    Once you receive a satisfactory answer, kindly give points so consultants are encouraged to give prompt replies and remember to close the thread.
    Happy SAPing.

  • Component level message are not coming up for the declarative component.

    Hie
    i am using ADF faces with jdev 11g.
    i have created a declarative component and dropped it in my web application.
    This component provides an action listener to write some app specific code.
    in the listener i wrote a component level error message.
    on running the app i can see that it is going to that error but it is not showing it up on the ui. same code works for other adf faces components that comes by default in the component pellete.
    I tried setting the clientComponent attribute to true as well but no luck.
    any idea if something wrong with declarative components?

    Frank,
    My declarative component is dropped on my jsff. In this pages i have dropped a af:messages as well.
    There is a small button in my component on which i have bound an action listner.
    In the action listener i have a validation on the failure condition of which i have the code like:
    if(bean == null || bean.isAuthenticated() == false){
    FacesMessage msg = new FacesMessage(FacesMessage.SEVERITY_ERROR, null, "You must be logged in to vote up");
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    context.addMessage(getVotingQuesComponent().getClientId(context), msg);
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(getVotingQuesComponent());
    return;
    So, i m sure my flow is going in this part of code but i dont see the message coming up marking my declarative component.
    However, if i replace this message by a page level error message then that comes up fine.

  • SG:50, Cannot convert planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Test scenario for Strategy Group 50 (Planning without final Assembly)
    Product Structure
    Material-->  SG50.00 > FERT> (Strategy Group: 50)
    Material---> SG50.02 --> HALB --->(Strategy Group: 40)
    Material---> SG50.04 ---> ROH --->(Strategy Group: Blank)
    Maintained PIRs and Ran MRP at the header level, Planned orders are created
    with order type VP at levels of BOM structure. Thus cannot covert planned orders
    to production orders without having sales order.
    But my understanding of Strategy Group 50, is BOM components can be produced before hand (i.e.
    before sales orders are recieved ). Now planned orders with order type VP not able to convert
    planned orders to prod orders at BOM component level

    Stuti/Prasobh:
    Thanks for your inputs, it answers my question
    Intially maintained Individual/Collective indicator to "2" at header level (FERT), which is why all the planned orders are created with order type VP
    Changed the Individual/Collective indicator to "blank " at header level (FERT), and maintained Individual/Collective indicator  to "2" at component level
    Reran the MRP (MDO2), with the following settings --> Delete and Recreate planning data and Check mark on  Also plan on unchanged components
    Able to see planned orders at component level with order type LA

  • User Status Profile at Component Level in PM order

    Hi All,
    How can we assign a User Status Profile at the component level in a PM order.
    System statuses are available at component level. And these system statuses control other business transaction also. I want similar to system status, I should have some User status, which can control some business transaction.
    Please share some inputs.
    Thanks,
    Piyush

    Hi Thyagarajan,
    Thanks for the reply.
    My actual requirement is as follows:
    The component's tab page will have many component line items.
    I want a seperate PR for each one.
    But I want that based on an influencing factor, I should be able to control, the timing when PR is generated for each component line item.
    i.e. PR should not be generated together for all line items, but at different times for diff line items.
    Please give some input.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Best practices to include client libraries used at component level

    How to include component level resources, while following the best practices.
    Ex:
    I am looking at the geometrixx media site in CQ 5.6. In the some of components, ex: 2-col-article-summary we have a client library defined under the component.
    /apps/geometrixx-media/components/2-col-article-summary
    -2-col-article-summary.jsp
    -clientlibs
      -css
      -css.txt
    if i look at the categories of the clientlib, it is defined as follows
    categories String[] apps.geometrixx-media, apps.geometrixx-media.2-col-article-summary
    The only place this client library is included is in the head.jsp of main page level component.
        <cq:includeClientLib categories="apps.geometrixx-media.all"/> - this in turn embeds the apps.geometrixx-media
    my questions are as follows
    1) Why do we have two categories for the clientlib, if ithe second category name( apps.geometrixx-media.2-col-article-summary) is not being used. Is there is some other usage for this i am missing.
    2) Also these set of css is always included no matter whether a specific component is added to the page or not.
    3)  I could use the following to include the client at the component level, but this will cause unnecessary <script> and <link> elements at the component level mark up.
       <cq:includeClientLib categories="apps.geometrixx-media.2-col-article-summary"/>
    Essentially  i am trying to understand, how to include a specific component level resources while following the best practices

    Hi,
    I dont have CQ5.6 setup so could not see referring example but by looking at description i can say
    Ans 1. The client library can be invoked directly through tag lib as <cq:includeClientLib categories="category name"/> but it can also be invoked when you add "dependencies" property to client library folder and in that case it resolve all the dependencies first. So to answer your quesiton by looking at client library folder configuration you can not say that specific category has not been used any where or not invoked.
    Ans 2. Invoking client library folder completely depends on your code where you are placing call for client library using <cq:includeClientLib> tag and dependencies configuration. So you have to dig it more to trace out all the calls (also default css/js loads)
    Ans 3. Correct. So accomplish that best way to manage client library at component level and give it a unique name which can not be invoked any where neither through <cq:includeClientLib> call nor through dependenies configuration. This way you can avoide overridding of same library files. (Better to manage proper hierarchy of library)
    Hope it gives you some idea .
    Thanks,
    Pawan

  • Setting access rights at component level

    I have created a component. The business wants to restrict its use to a certain group of users.
    If a user is part of that group, ONLY then the coomponent should be available in sidekick at time of page creation.
    How is setting access rights at component level being achieved?

    As Jorg stated, Group ACL settings are meant to control access at a page
    level.  As he also stated is possible to control access even further, but
    with additional effort and difficulty. But, nearly every client wants this
    done down to the component level and on a group by group basis.  So, what
    I've found, over the years that works is the following:
    - Configure the available components per template type per parsys
    - Further configure the available components at the group level
    For the custom built components, you can remove them at the group level by
    un-checking the 'read' ACL on the dialogs for the given component.  You
    don't want to un-check read for the whole component because then the users
    of that group experience random 'holes' in the content.  But, if you
    un-check 'read' for the dialogs, then the component will not display in
    Side-kick (at least on 5.4 and prior this is the case).
    The only caveat to this is the OOB components.  That is where you will run
    into a lot more difficulty.  Those should mostly be enabled/disabled at the
    design level for the entire page/parsys.
    Hope this helps.
    Todd

  • Classification in Service Order Component level

    Hi All,
    We have a requirement to maintain various codes at the component level of the service order.
    At header level (Servicable Material / Product) of service order, we can do it by maintaining the material for  classification and there by allowing for configuration.  Can we do similar thing in component level?
    If configuration at component level is not possible, is there any way that I can add 5 to 6 columns in the component tab without changing the SAP standard code?
    Please let me know how this can be achieved .
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Surya.

    Hi Surya,
    It is not possible to enter configurable material as components in service order.
    See SAP Note 409513 (RMA: Repair of configurable material). You want to repair a configurable material in the RMA process. After posting of the returns delivery for the repair order the system generates a repair item and a service order is generated in the background. However, the generation of the service order terminates and the system displays error message IW292: 'No configurable material can be assigned to the order'.
    However, I think you can use classified materials, if it is of any help to you.

  • Asynchronous Call Back Fault Handling through Mediator with Resequencer at Component Level

    Hello,
    As a part of an existing code extension we are introducing set of changes to the code to support new scenarios. The following are the composites involved in the end to end flow:
    1- Consumer_Mediator: A mediator composite with Resequencer enabled at the component level (With fault policy as human intervention in case of failure).
    2- BusinessServiceRouter_Mediator: A mediator composite - typical EBS in AIA - which routes messages to the provider components in BPEL and receive response in Synchronous pattern.
    3- BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL: A BPEL Process that is responsible for interacting with external Application and Provide return success response or throw failures to the EBS.
    Synchronous Interaction
    Typical Request Scenario is as follows:
    [Resequencer] ------------Consume------> [Consumer_Mediator] ----------Sync------> [BusinessServiceRouter_Mediator] -------------Sync---------->[BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL]
    1- First Message in the resequencer group is picked up.
    2- Mediator route the message to BusinessServiceRouter Route message and waits for the response.
    3- BusinessServiceRouter routes the message to the BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL Process and wait for response.
    4- BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL process makes successeful call to the External Application Service and is prepared to return Successful response.
    Typeical Response:
    Through a Synchronous flow, all instances are waiting for the response to commit the transaction, once the response comes back and routed back to the Consumer_Mediator one of two cases happen:
    1- Success: instance is Complete, and the next message in the resequencer group is processed.
    2- Failure: instance is marked as recovery needed and the next messages in the resequencer group are held off till the first message is recovered or aborted.
    New Requirement - Asynchronous Interaction
    A new Application Service is introduced and it can take up to 6/8 hours to process the request. Which means we need to change the interaction to Asynchronous request and Callback with the Provider long running BPEL Process that will interact with the BPEL process.
    Request in the new Code:
    [Resequencer] ------------Consume------> [Consumer_Mediator] ----------Sync------> [BusinessServiceRouter_Mediator] -------------Async--------->[BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL]
    Response in the new Code:
    1- Success: There is absolutely no issue here, it works fine and all instances are marked as complete.
    2- Failure in BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL. This is mainly the issue. When there is a failure that this BPEL process wants to throw. The following happens:
              -  BusinessServiceProvider_BPEL instance is marked as failure.
              - BusinessServiceRouter_Mediator instance is marked as failure.
              - Consumer_Mediator instance is marked as complete and the next message in the resequencer group gets processed - which is the main issue.
    Any Help or suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks.

    1. You can update the message payload when 'recovering' the faulted mediator instance for msg2 in EM console. So if it's a data issue, fix/update the data at the source, and do not trigger the service; instead, update the payload in the recovery page in EM console as needed and retry. This will be a manual activity only. I don't think there is any other easy approach/option/configuration available for this.
    2. Not sure if there is a direct option to automatically process suspended messages in a timed-out group once the missing message arrives. It needs a manual intervention where you 'Skip' to unlock the group from time-out and process further message. I think there are Resequencer APIs available that probably can be used to automate such error handling/recovery.

  • Allocation at component level

    Hi,
    Is it possible to check component allocation at characteristic level other than 'plant'. e.g. sales org or customer
    If yes, please let me know how to do it.
    As per my understanding if allocation at the component is configured using other characteristic values, multi-level availability check ignores the components.
    Regards,
    RS

    Hi,
    I am trying to carry out MATP with allocations maintained at component level. Allocations are maintained in planning area at material - location combination.
    The issue is, allocations maintained at parent material are getting considered but not at component level.
    For your information, multilevel check functionality in APO availability check is getting triggered when I create sales order in ECC for parent materail i.e. I can see the navigation structure and missing parts list.
    But the purpose is to restrict confirmations at parent material based on allocation restrictions at component level.
    Let me know if you need further inputs.
