Prompt language

Hi experts
I created a dashboard prompt for a period name using the operator between.
as a result I have in the dashboard :
Period Name ###### Between###### and#######
I'd like to change the the labels 'Between' + 'and' to the local language. Is it possible.??
Regards

hi..
have you tried.. in the login page you have Select a Language option, select your local language there if bi supports that language...
Now login to your dashboard and watch...
Between and and changed to local language that you select...
Now concentrate on how to set default language for that particular user...
to set locale settings to login to answers with particular user, go to settings > My Account.
here you can change the locale settings...
I hope it may helpful to you...

  • UCCX 8.5 do not find Spanish system prompts in script

    Hi there!
I'm using UCCX ver 8.5.1 SU4 and have a number of call center scripts running in English as the default system prompt language!
Now they want' to open up to also play Spainish and therefore we have been start testing to present some system prompts in both English and Spainish!
The strange is that it doesnt present the Spainish prompts but only the English prompt twice!
Trying to use the option to play both languages in one prompt like this setup:
    Play prompt sp[welcome] @ l[en] + dp[500] + sp[welcome] @ l[es_ES]
I have tested with other languages as French etc. that work
Is the "language" folder wrong defined? "es_ES"?
Do i need to create the language in the prompt repository?

    Hi,
not sure about this SP[prompt] literal. I mean, it may work, but it is not in the script editor, not in the documentation.
Quite possible that for some languages the prompt is there but for some other languages, it is not.
Try to set the language to es_US perhaps or es_AR.

  • Final Auto Attendant Prompt

    Hi Guys,
I am configuring Exchange Auto Attended (Exchange 2013) and I've managed to get all of my personalized prompts in place but there is one exchange default one that I can't seem to find to disable...It's the one that says
"I couldn't hear you, please say the name of the person you want to contact, or the option you'd like to choose"
That final prompt doesn't sound professional, I am wondering if it's part of some kind of timeout or if it can even be changed.
    THanks
    Bryan

How have you been disabling them?  You can search for the prompt in the  <Program Files>\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\UnifiedMessaging\Prompts\<language>.   They're pretty well named, once I find it, I'll usually
rename it .old and make a copy of the smallest blank one that's in the directory (sort by size) with the same name as the one you want to replace.  Of course, you'll have to rinse and repeat on potentially many servers here and watch that it doesn't come
back with a patch, but it's one method.

  • UCCX prompt localization

    Hello,
I'm adopting a script for Lithuanian office and got a problem with prompt localization. UCCX is configured for English and Russan languages, I also created lt_LT language and placed localized prompts there. In UCCX Editor I placed Play Prompt step with P[Welcome] @ L[lt_LT] prompt and in Reactivate Debug I got "user prompt '/opt/cisco/uccx/Prompts/user/lt_LT/Welcome.wav'" exception. I can see and play this file in lt_LT in Prompt Management. Is there any niceties with creating prompt languages? I'm using UCCX 8.5.1
    Regards,
    Maxim

I think it's a defect, and nothing your are doing wrong, or misunderstanding.  In my opinion lt_LT should have worked, just as en_US works.  Feel free to open a TAC case to report the trouble. There should even be a button at the top of the right hand column on this very page, to open a case based on this topic.

  • Sorting Problem in FND_MENU_ENTRIES_TL Table

    Hi,
FND_MENU_ENTRIES_TL Table storing the record FND_MENU_ENTRIES_TL_N1(MENU_ID,PROMPT,LANGUAGE) wise in R12. But whereas in 11i, records stored FND_MENU_ENTRIES_TL_U1(MENU_ID,ENTRY_SEQUENCE,LANGUAGE).
I am confused, whether i need to recreate the index in R12, so the records will get store MENU_ID,ENTRY_SEQUENCE,LANGUAGE wise.
Could any one please suggest me how to resolve this problem.

  • New to MacBook, can I continue past network query?

I just purchased a macbook pro. I am in the process (slowly but surely) of setting up a non-apple router on my xp and ran into some problems. I am waiting for that router's manufacturer to get back to me. When I open my new Macbook, the screen I'm stuck on is the network one. It does see my XP network but because of problems mentioned above (I believe), I can't proceed to set it up as the one the Mac will use. Can I safely continue on (by pressing the 'other ...' button to get into my Mac (so I can play on it without a network) and then later (when I get my router set up) set up my wireless internet? I've had my Macbook now for

When I open my Macbook, I receive the set up wizard (I think). It takes me through prompts (language, location, whether I want to move files from an older macbook to the new one) and the prompt I am stuck on is the one that asks if I want to set up a wireless network. I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but this is my first time with a macbook and I don't know what to do - I am still waiting for my router support to help me but until they do, I would like to know if I can skip the step somehow and then come back to it later to set up the wireless. (my router is a Cyfre 3G wireless). Thanks for any replies!

  • UC520 historical reporting and voicemail capacity

    Hello,
If I need to configure historical reporting which requires the mailbox capacity to be 480 or less, what effect would continuing at the prompt below have on users' current mailboxes?

!!!WARNING!!!: You are seeing this message because Historical Reporting has never been enabled on this system. You would be allowed to enable Historical Reporting only if the Voicemail mailbox capacity is less than or equal to:480 mins.
Note:If the Voicemail capacity is less than: 480 mins, and if you were to enable Historical Reporting now, you would not be able to increase it again, even if Historical Reporting were to be disabled. You must re-install the system to increase the Voicemail capacity again.

What I'm trying to accomplish is track the call volume routed to an extension. Is historical reporting the best way to accomplish this or is there another method?

  • PDF prompts for language font addon?

I have a user that is using Acrobat 9 Standard, he receives a pdf from a vendor, edits the pdf using the typewriter tool, then saves the pdf and sends it out to appropriate users inside/outside our company.  Prior to making the edits, the files opens normally w/out issues (using adobe reader).  After he saves it and sends it out, vendors & user are saying that they are getting prompted to install a language font add-on.  I've tested myself and gets the same prompt.  One user could open the file but says it opens in Korean.
I've checked the language settings and all seems fine.  (set to English)
    Help please?

Not directly through acrobat (or from user's laptop) but the (attached) jpg shows nothing relating to language fonts (under adobe reader).  The add-on is actually Adobe Reader X Font Packs - Korean.  Not sure why this font pack would be needed to view edits made through typewriter in English.  And the user is no longer around today for me to varify if its showing the same when he launches this file.

  • Multi language support for reports and prompts labels

Is there a way to configure reports prompts labels with session\presentation variables,
in order to support multi language interface?

    Deepak,
    It works fine..i have tested.
    Nir,
Here is the solution for your requirement
    Requirement1
I want to label the listbox with X, where X is either 'Categories' or 'Products'.1.In your rpd, create a new session variable init block
    Name : DynamicName
Query: select case when ':USER' = 'USER1' then 'REGION1' else
CASE WHEN ':USER' = 'USER2' THEN 'REGION2' end end from dual
Assign the above query’s result to a session variable; DISP_NAME
2.Double click on the presentation column(in presentation layer) that is supposed to change dynamically->check the box ”Custom Display Name” -> Type in VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION. DISP_NAME)
3.With the assumption that you already have created a prompt with the above column, login as USER1, you will see the prompt label as 'REGION1' (value is fetched from the session block query).Similarly login as ‘USER2’ and check the prompt label to show 'REGION2'
    This solves the first requirement.
    Requirement2
On the dashboard I would like to present the title: 'Report by X', where X is either 'Categories' or 'Products'.1.Navigate to your report in answers
2.Add a column with the formula, case when VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.USER)='USER1' THEN 'Report by Categories' when VALUEOF(NQ_SESSION.USER)='USER2' THEN 'Report by Product' else 'Your custom/default title’ end
3.Add a narrative view to the report (remove the existing title view) and the give the reference as the column added in step 2.Save the report.
4.Logout and login as USER1, you can see the report title as 'Report by Categories' and for USER2 , it will be 'Report by Product'
Let me know if this solves your issue.

    Dpka

  • Inputting multiple languages in the command prompt

I'm trying to write a program that requires input in Japanese and English. I really would like to make it as simple as possible and use a command line interface. Currently I'm working on an English version of Windows XP with Japanese support enabled. Output in the DOS prompt works fine, but obviously I'm not able to input any Japanese characters. Do I need a Japanese version of the DOS? If so, would it be better to take the extra time of creating a graphical interface? Could this work better on Unix/Linux? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

Console support for various languages varies from platform to platform, and if you can't be sure a supported console is available, maybe a simple GUI would be better, specifically a Swing GUI.
The Swing GUI might work better because:
    1. it would support characters across most of the Unicode spectrum
    2. you may be able to control fonts a little better than in a console
    3. Swing input would work regardless of what the host console supports

  • Adobe Reader X (10.1.2) MUI, deploy, user's are seeing a Language Prompt upon first run?

I am trying to deploy Adobe Reader X (10.1.2) MUI to Windows 7 64 systems VIA SCCM and the user's are seeing a Language Prompt upon first run.  They can click cancel it will open fine and not prompt again.  I have used Adobe Customization Wizard X and have it set to English there.  Here is the CMD line i'm using.
    msiexec /qb- /i "AcroRead.msi" TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" ALLUSERS=1 LANG_ID=1033 PRODUCTLANGUAGE=1033.
What can be done to resolve this prompt please?

You have to set a few registry keys before you start it the first time:
e.g for english(Windows XP but should work under Windows 7 too):
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language]
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\current]
    @="acrord32.dll"
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\next]
    @="acrord32.dll"
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\UseMUI]
    "UseMUI"=dword:00000000
    e.g for german:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language]
    "UI"="DEU"
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\current]
    @="locale\\de_de\\rdlang32.deu"
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\next]
    @="Locale\\de_DE\\RdLang32.DEU"
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\Language\UseMUI]
    "UseMUI"=dword:00000000
If you do that the language is preset and no Language Prompt will be shown.

What are you talking about exactly?  There is normally no need to install anything to read or write Asian languages on your Mac.  Tell us what language for starters and what it is you think you can't do now.

  • How do I disable the language prompt when hyperlinking to a .pdf?

I created an index in Microsoft Word (some of the indexed items are farther on in the same Word document; some are separate Excel or .pdf documents).  When I click on an index term that should take me to a .pdf, before the .pdf opens I get a prompt asking me whether I want English, Deutsch or Francais.  How to I get this prompt to go away?  Thanks! --demanian

    Hello!
    I have the same problem.
If I work on a local machine (with Acrobat PRO), it works by MS-Word link, but on RDP-session (with Acrobat READER) the MS-Word Link causes the language-prompt.
By opening the PDF with Acrobat PRO, the language settings of the PDF show the correct language, but by opening the the same PDF with Acrobat Reader there is no language shown.
So it is simple to explain the prompt.
But why does the Acrobat READER does not identify the language? I changed the language with PRO and saved the PDF, but READER also identifies no language.
READER and PRO are in the latest version and get updated automaticlly.
    Who knows?
