Provide me with a simple tar file

I have just started prepairing for Weblogic Admin Cert Exam. I am using Weblogic Server 10 on Red Hat Linux. Can someone please provide me with a simple tar/gz file which I can deploy using the weblogic console and see how weblogic works (i am not a developer, so don't know how to create one).
And this will start my Weblogic exploration.

If you do a custom installation, there is a checkbox to install samples. You can find an html file in a dir like this one:
C:\Oracle\wls10gR3\wlserver_10.3\samples\server
That should provide you lots of samples, some of which will build archives you can deploy to the server using the console.

What's wrong with this simple java file

I am learning java input methods. When I tried to compile the below simple java file, there were two errors.

Problem with a simple batch file

in my test lab, I am creating a cmd batch file which first sets the system execution policy to bypass & then continues into command prompt & does some stuff there. so I need the following commands be run in turn:

but only the first line of the command runs & it ends up in the following step:

You cannot jsut run a list of commands. You also cannot use PowerShell to execute BAT commands. Start by learning how to create and run a classic BAT file or jsut skip BAT files and run PowerShell.

Just past that at a prompt or place the whole line in a barch file.
OR - skip Powershell altogether and run a batch file only.

Can someone please provide me with a simple VI to connect a thermocouple via FieldPoint so that a temperature is indicated whenever the VI is run?

I'm new to LabView so it will be a great help if I can get a push start on the project. I would like to measure the temperature through a FieldPoint connection. I know how to add the FieldPoint to the project, but I don't know how to proceed so that the VI indicates the temperature whenever the VI is run.

I'm not familiar with the FieldPoint hardware but there should be examples for it. Look in Help > Find Examples ...
If FieldPoint uses DAQmx or something similar you should find examples like Temperature Monitoring.lvproj or Thermocouple - Continuous.vi. They should get you going.

Best practice: tar file handling through java on Linux

What would be the better way to handle large size tar files (size may be more 1 GB) on Linux using Java? One way would be by using linux "tar" command through Runtime.exec, another option is through Java zip classes?
Btw, functionality I am doing is extract the large tar file, remove some files and tar it back to make a smaller size tar ball. I am not too sure if Java provides an api to remove individual files/directory from a zip file.

A tar file is not a zip file.
Java provides no classes that handle .tar files by default.
It does provide classes to handle the gzip compression that's often applied to .tar files (resulting in .tar.gz or .tgz files).
So you either search for a library that handles tar files in Java or invoke tar as an external process.

Help with some simple coding

I am very new to Java and am currently studying a course in the language.
I am working through a tutorial at the moment and a question has been asked and I am struggling a bit
I have been given the code to a program that creates a window with a ball bouncing around inside the window.
There are 2 classes (code below) - Call class - this contains all the code need to create the ball and BallWorld Class (the main Class) this create the window and moves the ball, it also detects if the ball hits the edge of the window, whne this happens it redirects the ball. I understand how all this code works
I have been asked the following:-
Rather than testing whether or not the ball has hit the wall in the nmain program, we could use inhertitance to provide a specialized forom of Ball. Create a class BoundedBall that inherits from the class Ball. The constructor for this class should provide the height and width of the window, which should be maintained as data fields in the class, rewrite the move method so that the ball moves outside the bound, it automatically reflects its direction. Finally rewrite the BallWorld class to use an instance of BoundedBall rather than ordianary Ball, and elimiante the bounds test in the main program.
I am having trouble with this and I can not get my code to work, I think I may be going in completly the wrong direction with the code can sombody please provide me with a simple working code for both the BoundedBall and ammended BallWorld class, as this will help me understand whare I am going wrong

Then edit the report's Report Attributes.
Edit the CREATED_ON column and pick a Number/Date Format to use for the display and Apply Changes

This provides one with the choice of where to save it - e.g. "C" drive, in the "My Documents" or "Desktop" folders but Firefox's download window doesn't. This has always frustrated me because I would rather use Firefox exclusively to access the Internet, but when it comes to saving files downloaded off the Internet, sadly, I have to revert to IE!

If you click on Firefox from the upper-left, then Options, a new window should appear. On that window, click on the general tab. In the middle of the window, you'll see options regarding your downloads, one of which says, "Always ask me where to save files." Click on the bubble for this options, then click Ok. From then on, you should always be prompted on where you want your files saved.

Backup failed with tar file write error (10054)

I have got the issue with the online backup.
Database: Oracle 9.2.0.7
SAP : 4.7
Backup Server: Netbackp
When ever i trigger the backup on few of my SAP Servers, it runs for a while and then at a point just get struck.
Where for other systems it is running fine.
Error:

After the step mentioned in bold it just get struck,
There is no issue with the space at OS level
I can see all process will still be running in task manager
such as backint.exe, brbackup.exe, brconnect.exe
But
I don't find bpbkar32.exe Process, after the backup got struck.
I have asked Network guys as well and they said every thing is fine from their side(such as Speed, Full Duplex)
Its very important, please assist.

yes , i am using symantec netbackup,
but every thing is fine from their side as well(settings).
i have reinstalled the client as well.
it runs for 1 hr and then it throws error.
yesterday i scheduled two backup at two different time(at the interval of 1 hr) but they both failed (struck) at the exact same time(even seconds were same).
So what do you say??
