PS CS5 - Importieren

Ich habe einen Canonscan 5600F sowie einen Plustek OpticFilm 7200i installiert, allerdings ist im Menue "Importieren" kein Zugriff möglich (keine Schaltfläche Twain).
Gibt es da eine Lösung ?

Betriebssystem ist Win 7/32.
Der installierte Treiber für den Canon 5600F ist am neuesten Stand, trotzdem erscheint die Twain-Schaltfläche nicht im Menue Importieren.
Das einzig mögliche für mich ist zur Zeit die WIA-Unterstützung zu benutzen, allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob das einen Unterschied macht.

Premiere Pro CS5.5 stürzt bei "importieren" ab

Hallo zusammen
Nach erfolglosem Suchen in unmengen Foren habe ich nun beschlossen hier zu fragen.
Ich habe einen iMac und mit der Software auf dem neusten Stand (OSX 10.9).
Ich arbeite seit einiger Zeit an einem Kurzfilm in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 und es hat bis heute einwandfrei funktioniert. Nun wollte ich heute noch einmal ein paar Filmdateien importieren, doch als ich auf "importieren" geklickt habe kam eine Fehlermeldung, in der stand, dass ein schwerwiegender Fehler aufgetreten ist und Adobe Premiere Pro nun beendet werden muss. Das geht nun jedes mal so, sogar wenn ich ein neues Projekt erstelle kann ich nichts mehr importieren. Ich habe Premiere Pro auf 5.5.2 geupdatet, hat aber nichts bewirkt.
Ist das jemandem von euch auch schon passiert oder wisst ihr zufälligerweise wo das Problem liegt und wie man es beheben kann?

Stürzt das Programm beim Klick auf Importieren ab oder erst beim Import?
Es kann gut sein, dass diverse Filme mit bestimmten Codecs nicht importiert werden können und einen Absturz verursachen. Zum Beispiel exotische mp4/AVI Dateien mit mehr oder weniger nur für Windows geeigneten Einstellungen.

Vector importieren (Indesign CS5)

Hallo zusammen,
ich betrachte mich als Anfänger mit "erweiterten Kenntnissen". Ich habe mir über eine Grafikplattform eine Vectordatei downgeloadet für das Erstellen eines Rollup Banner. Als ersten Step habe ich mir das Dokument in entsprechender Größe (Vorgabe durch die Druckerei) angelegt. Nun weiß ich nicht wie ich die Vectorgrafik importiern muss, das ich alle Ebenen bearbeiten kann?!?
Mein Vorgehen: Ich habe die Grafik (eps-Datei) über die Funktion "platzieren" eingefügt. Dann jedoch erfolgt die Anzeige wie ein Bild- ich kann keine einzelnen ebenen bearbeiten oder verschiedene Bilder einfügen.
Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen? Ich müsste das Projekt bis Sonntag abgeschlossen haben.

Eine platzierte Grafik kannst Du nicht direkt bearbeiten. Hierzu musst du entweder die EPS-Datei zuvor mit einem Vektorprogramm wie Illustrator bearbeiten - oder nachträglich über Palette "Verknüpfungen / Original bearbeiten ...)
Wenn es nur darum geht, die EPS-Grafik zu bearbeiten*, ist InDesign nicht das passende Programm.
* ob und wie gut sich die EPS-Grafik bearbeiten lässt, hängt natürlich von Art und Aufbau der Datei ab. Im allgemeinen heißt es ja, dass die Verwendung dieses Dateiformats in der Adobe-Umgebung möglichst vermieden werden soll. Ich selber habe aber so gut wie keine Erfahrung mit EPS

Aufnahmedatum in Premiere CS5 anzeigen

Hallo Forumkollegen
Ich habe folgendes Problem:
Wenn ich Clips von der Cam per USB auf die Festplatte kopiere und diese dann in CS5 bearbeiten möchte, ist in den Metadaten das Aufnahmedatum nicht sichtbar.
Wenn ich aber im CS5 auf "importieren" gehe und direkt von der Cam per USB importiere, ist das Aufnahmedatum in den Metadaten angezeigt.
Adobe kann mir nicht weiter helfen, die sagen, es liege an der Cam.
Das kann ja nicht sein, denn beim direkten Import wird ja das Datum angezeigt.
Es kann ja nicht sein, dass ich immer beim Bearbeiten die Cam anschliessen muss, was ist wenn der Speicher in der Cam voll ist?
Bei andern Schnitt-Programmen wird das Aufnahmedatum unter Eigenschaften angezeigt.
Cam: SONY HDR-CX550VE Aufnahmeformat: AVCHD 1920x1080i
Vieleicht kann mir jemand helfen, vielen Dank für Antworten.

Ich habe was entdeckt: das Aufnahmedatum ist bei mir in der Nummer des Clips versteckt
Clip Nr: 200100720100214.m2ts die 7 ist der Monat
200100720100214.m2ts die 20 ist der Tag = 20.07.
Ich weiss nicht, ob das bei andern CS5 Anwendern auch so ist.

Ffx lassen sich nicht aus den Presets importieren...

...und es wird folgende Fehlermeldung angezeigt.:
Die Datei "Pop-Modewörter.ffx" kann nicht importiert werden: Dateiformat oder Erweiterung wird nicht unterstützt. (0§1)

Tell if CS5 or CS5.5 at a glance?

Is there a way to know if an After Effects Project File is CS5 or CS5.5 at a glance? I mean by just clicking on the info or something? (Running a Mac). I have 5.5 and I down save them to 5 to send them to people and I was wondering if there was a faster way to tell than just opening every single file and checking it in AE. Thanks!

If you open an AEP file in a text editor like BBEdit you can actually
see which version of AE created it by looking in the meta data at the
end of the file:

I can't find anything in the file that shows which version of file it
was saved as, though...
Opening a binary file like this in a text editor always comes with a
risk of you accidentally changing something that will make your file
corrupt, so be careful.

Adobe Bridge CS5 in windows 7 not working?

Adobe Bridge CS5 in windows 7 not working. I was using bridge perfectly for last 2 years. It stops working since 3 days. I tried to install updates. Showing some error to install.
Tried to install creative cloud..again some error. Error code : 82

DW CS5 will not open pages from local view sidebar

Using the latest DW and having a major issue. Sites are visible through manage sites; all is fine with settings. However, when I open a site to edit, if I try to click on the right side (local view) to open the html pages, DW gives me an error message - for example - "HD/user/site/xxxx.html not found" but if I open the file from the menu, it opens. I can edit but not "put" the file or add to the remote server manually. I thought one of the site's files was corrupt but then I realized it's happening for all my sites (which work fine on my laptop - also running same version of DW). Is one of the DW settings off? Should I reinstall? Has anyone encountered this issue? Thanks in advance.

Well, I don't have CS5 and I've never seen this problem before, but I would start with deleting and then re-creating the site definition.

After Effects CS5.5 Wont Open - Application Just Bounces In The Dock.

Hi all,
I appear to have encountered a problem with After Effects... I was working on a project earlier today which usalizes a VideoCopilot plug-in called Element 3D. After a quick break I came back to the project and attempted to load in the 'Free Earth Project' by VideoCopilot. (http://www.videocopilot.net/blog/2012/08/free-earth-project-for-element-3d/). As their site suggests, I had to place a downloaded project folder called 'Earth' into Element 3D's 'My_Models' folder. Immediately after this I tried loading After Effects and encountered the issue. I'm not sure if it's couincidence or directly related which is why I am posting here.
After Effects does nothing but bounce in the Dock. When I right-click the application I'm met with a 'Force Quit' option, and a message saying "Application not responding". I'm on OS X 10.7.4. I'm not able to tell you what version of AE I'm running, only that it's CS5.5, as I cannot lanch it to find out. All other Adobe products work with no problem.
I have already contacted the support team at VideoCopilot and they have sent me an updated build of Element 3D in an attempt to resolve the issue, unfortunately though this did not work. Addiitonally, I have tried booting into Safe-Mode and tried to launch the application from there, as well as using Disk-Utility to 'Repair Permissions'. All of these steps have failed to get AE working again.
If anyone knows of a way to fix this I would be most grateful. I'm working to a very tight deadline and am afraid that I will miss it. Additionally, if anyone has any fixes that doesn't require reinstalling applications that'll be a bonus!

Is there a way to create a web photo album with Dreamweaver CS5.5?

I used this command in earlier versions of Dreamweaver, but have not had any luck finding a remedy for CS5.5....Appreciate advice.

HELP! Upgrade purchasing to CS5 (or poss 5.5)

Hi all
We have a problem at my place of work. We have two computers which need to have the same version of CS on (currently CS2).
For a reason I won't try to explain one licence for an upgrade from CS2 to CS5 was purchased a while ago. Recently someone tried to buy another licence so we could upgrade both computers but we end up with a CS5 to CS 5.5
Now, we have a big problem. We need to either buy another CS2 to CS5 or a CS2 to CS5.5
There was a very short return period on the cs5 to 5.5 purchase so we cannot return it.
The only option as far as I can see is to purchase another CS2 to CS5 upgrade (thus wasting the CS5 to 5.5). I also thought now 5.5 is out CS2 to CS5 would be cheaper. However I cannot even find that upgrade anymore.
Can anyone help and tell me if they know where to get it??

There is no such thing. Adobe always plucks all legacy versions from the market whenever there is a new version coming out and for that same reason there is no discounted older upgrades. So unless you can find a authorised reseller who may still have a dusty CS5 physical upgrade package on his shelf this is going nowhere, I'm afraid. I don't really see a problem here, though - you can buy valid upgrades from CS2 to CS5.5. So what's the hold-up?

A pdf document created in cs5 cannot be printed in duplex on a pc without cs5 or adobe reader pro

there is a "normal" cs5 created pdf document.
the installed cs5 pc -> i can print in duplex on every printer, without cs5 installed duplex printing not possible.
I am searching for a solution to print the pdf document in duplex mode on every printer, but only with the latest freeware version adobe xi 11.0.3.
(If i install adobe cs4 on a pc it is possible to print the document in duplex mode on a hp3525 printer, but duplex is not possible on a ricoh printer for example mpc5502.)
I cant upload the file, because its bigger than 2 mb. (5mb)
Is there anybody out there for help.

Yep, it definitely is a complicated workflow... But I'm not really sure of any other way to get from the 34" wide pattern to the home-sewing version which is split into pages and has alignment marks and whatnot. I'm very much an amateur that has figured it out as I went
I went through the page in the photo pretty thoroughly with the layer panel and I couldn't find any mystery lines... But I did find something interesting; when I click on any of the pattern lines, it shows the whole line of the pattern piece, which extends well past the edge of the artboard. So when I'm printing the poster-sized PDF to 7.5x10 pages, it's keeping all the anchor points of a line even if only a small piece of that is on the actual page.

Also, should I be keeping all the files I'm editing as .ai files and then only exporting to PDF for the very final product? I was doing that at first, but then using .pdf for the whole process didn't seem to make any difference.
