PU12--modidy sap standard format

Hi,
We have a requirement to modify standard sap export file in PU12. I have copied standard interface format TIME to a ZTIME.
Now i want to use standard sap export format with a few modifications...like want to add a footer.IS there any standard sap file layout that i can copy and modify..Can some one guide me on this.

The layout of the file should depend on the business requirement . What is the current layout if they have any , If no then check business how they want it .

How to convert date format into sap standard format?

Hi All,
In SAPUI5 screen i have one simple form in form i have date field which is format (MM/DD/YYYY). but i am getting POST error while inserting the data in to sap table.
I want convert date format in sap format (YYYY/MM/DD).
One more issue, when i am fetching the data from sap table,but the date display with time and time zone.
eg. Sat Aug 02 2014 05:30:00 GMT+0530 (India Standard Time)

3.Generating automated entries for the routine transactions periodically.
4.Making automatic bank reconciliation
5. Cost flow assumptions ( lifo, fifo and moving average for the inventory )
6.Calculating the cost per new items in the stock.
7.Aging for the inventory .
8.Automatic numbering for the accounting vouchers in the system
9.Budgeting capability.

Please note that the availability on the functionality mentioned below depends on which version you're using. But basicly, I would say that all functions are available in SAP.
Please see the following:
1.forecasting cash flow based on financial and non-financial information .
SEM BPS : Business Planning Simulation.
2.- Work flow procedure embedded in the system for payments, collections , purchasing, and sales .
There is workflow components you can use for the scenario.
3.Generating automated entries for the routine transactions periodically.
There is recurring entries function in GL module.
4.Making automatic bank reconciliation
Under cash management module.
5. Cost flow assumptions ( lifo, fifo and moving average for the inventory )
Under Material Management module.
6.Calculating the cost per new items in the stock.
Under material management module
7.Aging for the inventory .
Well....not sure about this one. But I guess this function is available in Material Management module.
8.Automatic numbering for the accounting vouchers in the system.
SAP provide the document numbering as a part of standard system.
9.Budgeting capability.
Depends of what kind of budget, but I think SEM BPS and fund management module provide this functionality.
10.Calculating the cost per new items in the stock
Material management module.

O/P format info req for an SAP standard reprot.---urget???

I need to change the O/P display format for the tocde IH01,its an SAP-standard report for PM,but displays the O/P in an different format,is there any way so that i can make it to ALV,or SAP list format.
I want to save the dat of O/P in an excel,but frm this O/Pi am unable to save the data in my way,it coming in an jumble way,so it will be only done if its displyed in SAP List or ALV,can tell me anyone,will this optoon is possible in this or not.

Hi Gurus,
Can any one of you kindly provide the SAP standard file formats for "Check" and "WIRE" payments for the bank interface?
With the SAP standard file formats I need to contact my client's bank to know whether they can support the standard format for the interface.

Can we change the SAP standard output view that is in alv into some other view i.e merging two fields into one field and displaying fileds at diffrent location in alv. I have a requirement with J2I5 TRRANSACTION . My client need the output from this transaction to be changed into different format.

How can I convert a file in SAP RDI format?

I have to convert the data which is to be passed to the Smartform into RDI format.
I am using Application form (Print Workbench)
for sending data to smartform.
Is there any Function Module for converting data into SAP RDI format?
Should I write this FM in User-exit of application form?

Description
Using the SAPscript Raw Data Interface (RDI), you can connect external text management systems to control individual requests, for example, optimizing postage expense. The interface contains all form data from the R/3 System, but no layout information such as font or page size. The external system alone is responsible for the layout and administration of the document data. The RDI is of special importance for mail processing. The external system sorts the document data from the interface and forwards the documents accordingly.
The Raw Data Interface is a certified interface and allows easy connection to external systems. However, you pay the price for this extra function, as you lose tight integration with the R/3 System. For example, you cannot find out from within an R/3 application whether the external system successfully printed and sent the documents. In addition, extra expense is incurred each time you adapt a standard form, since the system has to adapt both an internal and external form. The external tool is not an integral part of the ABAP Development Workbench, so that field information (field type, output length and so on) from the ABAP Dictionary is not available.

1099 Misc reporting for US in SAP Standard report not containing any value

HI All,
In my current clients requirement is to get the SAP Standard reprort for 1099 Misc reporting for US
1) Accordingly i have done configuration for Withholding tax for US with tax type FE
2) There are 14 WHT Tax codes under FE , like 01 = Rent , 02 = royalty, 03 = other income etc.
3) Assigned Tax type with Co. Code
4) Activated WHT tax at Co. code
5) Created WHT country US
And also assign WHT tax type FE and respective tax code to vendors in Accounting info in Vendor Master
Posted couple of vendor invoices and made payment for those also
Then after this when i run the SAP Standard report for 1099 Misc reporting for US , then the output contains with no data.. but only contains vedor names and WHT tax code which i have assigned..
I think i have missed some configuration may be . Can any one let me know the detail step by step config and process how to get proper out put in 1099 Misc reporting for US in Standard reporting..

FM to convert Date Entered to a standard format

Hello All,
Is there any FM to convert the date entered (in the format given in SU01) to a standard format
(Eg: DD.MM.YYYY). Is there any FM that does the reverse of it.

Can i use the SAP standard package for lock object creation ?

Dear Guru ,
I want to create a new lock ojbect for my abap program .
When i completed the creation , SAP required a new request and it said the object only can be imported to SAP standard package .
But i saw the help from SAP said :

In this case , Can i use one of the SAP standard package for this creation ? Does it will affect the SAP system ( such as the system upgrade ) ?

Hi Carlos...
First , You will never be able to use any standard SAP Package for your custom programs. So don't go for it.
So in your case what you need to do is , when you save your Lock object ,
- if you want Transport request to be created , then
in the screen shown you need to enter the Z package name (the same package as that of your ABAP Program)
or
-if you want it to be stored as local object , then
specify package as $tmp

There is no standard SAP Balance sheet and P&L.
Through OB58, we will map the G/L accounts as per the client required Balance sheet and P&L formats.

Hong Kong Tax Forms IR56B SAP standard Layout

Hi All
HK statutory annual tax form IR56B (transaction PC00_M27_CTXB) is generated once annually. There is a SAP standard layout HR_HK_IR56B2002 for this.
However, notice that the layout settings is different from the government layout. A few examples would be
1. Item 11 Particulars of income accruing for the year from 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 is divided into 2 lines in the SAP layout while it should only be printed in 1 line in the government layout.
2. The date formatting for items in #11 shouldnt contain any '/'
(i.e. 01/01/2008), should only be 01012008.
Appreciate if anyone may have any insight into how to resolve this. Is it better to customize the layout instead or is the current layout considered acceptable? Thanks in advance.

You may want to consider the following options:
a) open a OSS message to SAP to report on your observations
b) custom build your enterprise specific IR56B form based on standard layout so that item 11 appears in 1 line and dates will be displayed without "slash"

Modifying SAP Forms
If you want to modify SAP forms, set up your development environment as follows:
Make sure that no SAP-standard forms are stored as client-specific copies in your development client.
Such forms should be held only in client 000, the SAP development and installation client. If you access an SAP-standard form from another client, then the central copy in client 000 is used.
If you need to remove SAP-standard objects from your development client, see Notes 10388 and 3355 in the SAP Online Service System (OSS). These notes explain the procedure for saving modified forms and then deleting all forms.
To modify SAP standard forms,
Copy the forms you need from client 000 to your development client.
Rename the forms using a name from the customer name reserve (names starting with Y or Z).
Copy the forms to one of your own Y or Z development classes.
Renaming the SAP standard object makes it possible to manage and transport your changes with the SAP workbench organizer. The organizer is not activated for SAP-standard objects that are modified in clients other than 000.
To put your modifications into effect, you must also modify the ABAP print program used to print documents that use this form. You should rename such print programs and store them in your own Y or Z development classes.
You can use the SAP Customizing System to replace the SAP print program with your modified print program in the affected applications.
Forms: Concepts
Forms are used to control the page layout and also the text formatting in your documents. Before formatting a document for output to the screen or to a printer, you must assign a form to it. If you do not specify a form for a document, then the SYSTEM form is assigned to the document by default.
Application-specific forms are used in SAP applications to specify the page layout for such special documents as invoice or checks. These forms specify the structure of the information on the page(s) of such a document. They define, for example, the address header, item lines, the footer, and so on.
There are two ways to format texts with forms:
In the standard SAPscript text processing (Tools ® Word processing ® Standard text), you can select a form for a document. You can then type text into the main window of the form and output the document in the format defined in the form.
For example, you can select a form for a letter. You can then type the body text of the letter in the main window. When you print the letter, the default text elements in the other windows of the form (heading, footer, and so on) are printed with the body text.
A document can be generated by a print program in one of the SAP applications. The print program uses a form to generate the document. Most correspondence and document generation in the SAP System are handled by way of print programs.
A print program selects the text elements that are to be printed in the windows of a form. It may also collect information from the user or ask the user to input text directly, as in some correspondence functions. The print program may also provide data for variables defined in the form.
Finally, the print program uses the form to format the document for display or printing.
