Publish bsp extranet

hi guys
i have a bsp publish in portal,
i can access to portal from internet with guess user, by my bsp is not displayed, how i can configure my bsp to be available from internet, when i access portal from intranet the bsp is displayed ok, but from a extranet not work
appreciated any sugestions

Thanx we have decided migrate de bsp to web dynpro java, in this case the access to internet work ok,
but in bsp i still dont know what happend?..

PUBLISHING BSP IN A BROWSER

HI GUYS, I WANTED TO PUBLISH A BSP AFTER ACTIVATING AND SAVING, BUT I RECEIVED THIS ERROR MESSAGE ``The protocol that you should use to test the page (HTTP or HTTPS) is not configured on this application server``. I CHECKED THE ACTIVE SERVICES ``TRANSACTION SMICM`` AND SAW THE STATUS OF HTTP PORT 8000 AS ACTIVE, WHILE HTTPS PORT 8001 IS NOT ACTIVE. IN AN ATTEMPT TO ACTIVATE HTTPS I GET THIS MESSAGE ``Operation failed (rc=1)``. NOW I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO TEST THE OBJECT IN A BROWSER.

Office Web Apps 2013 Error

Currently we are facing a problem in our Sharepoint 2013 environment with Office Web Apps Server.
Initially we connected the Office Web Apps farm to the Sharepoint farm and it worked well, but suddenly, we are not able to see the previews of the documents in the hover pannel or openning the documents in a new window or same window (doesn´t matter). We
receive the following error message:

This with a correlation error code, if we search this error code in Sharepoint we find the following information:

1. with the Get-OfficeWebAppsMachine command I can see that Health Status report as Unhealthy, but the reason for that is the certificate, it does not include the fqdn of the office web apps machine (Yes, I know that this is not the optimal configuration)
2. If we try to navigate trought the URL
https://..../hosting/discovery it shows the xml file of the owa server, no problem here
3. Get-spwopibinding shows all the bindings configured as default, we haven't done changes here
4. get-spwopizone = external-https the sharepoint platform is published as extranet trought a TMG, office documents can be accessed externally by WOPI server
5. I have tried both methods, with true and false with the same result, I have tried to reboot several times the WOPI server.
And for the final question, yes I have checked the event logs, but shows nothing, I think that is more a problem of Sharepoint previews than other problems

ABAP reports or BSPs for publishing R/3 data to Enterprise Portal

Dear Friends,
We have got scenario where we need develop a product.As part of that we have got some data in SAP R/3 that need to be published through Enterprise Portal.
Before me there are the below options.
1.To write ABAP reports and publish with the help of ITS.
2.To go for BSPs.(understood WAS should be > 6.10 )
3.To write some BAPIs and build the interface using portal as middleware.
Pl. suggest me which one would be best option considering If the reports contain some graphs also.
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.

But I heard graphs in ABAP are very resource intensive.
I would request to through some light on presenting the data graphically through EP if the data is collected through BAPIs from SAP R/3.

Start Page
I have try to look for it in SE80, but can't find it.
The second thing is i already define /webdynpro/dispatcher as the WEB AS path in my system configuration which is meant for the web dyn pro application.
If i am not mistaken, i need to specify this in the WEB AS path?
sap/bc/bsp/sap
If it is necessary, what should i do?
Currently i am using SAP_ITS_EBU as system alias. is there any default system alias that i can use?

Start Page --- check for default or the first page which is shown when u execute your application in se80.
About WAS:
WAS host : <wasserver>.<domain>.com:<port>
Was path : sap/bc/bsp/sap/
Was protocol : http or https
"SAP_ITS_EBU" if you have created this system alisa in Portal and it has these specification in WAS u can use this system alias.

Just like Thomas said, you only need to navigate to Web Dynpro Abap URL from your BSP.
You can use method CL_WD_UTILITIES=>CONSTRUCT_WD_URL to get Web Dynpro Abap URL.

SAP ICH in the SCM system is capable of publishing pages in web application

Experts,
We have one critical requirements where in we have to suggest customer that whether SAP ICH in the SCM system is capable of publishing pages in web application or not.
In detail... in our customer land scape SCM is the central planning tool and there are two type of users, one type of users have direct access to SCM system where they can directly do thier demand planning, the second type of users only have access to the web application called "extranet", from which they want to see the published planning guidelines and based on that they also wants to create the demand planning (from the web application - extranet). My question is whether SAP Inventory Collaboration Hub will do for this requirement? Do we need an Enterprise Portal to facilitate this functionality? Please advice. Very impartant and critical for delivery by tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

From your query I understood that a set of DP users access the system from external location over web.
SAP gives a solution ,using BSP web pages, to expose the SAP screens as its seen through the SAPGui's. They look similar to the standard only difference is it will be embedded in the browser. Unfortunately SAP was recommending this technology, they has plans to retire this technology as the Portal would suffice this requirement. So to answer your query the portal is a viable solution to your requirement.
ICH cannot help you because it does not give the functionality of DP, instead its a application for collaboration between the entities (manufacturer & supplier or customer).

Error while publishing a report

Hi,
I am trying to publish a report 11 in infoview and when i view the instance i get the following error:
Invalid path /InfoView/listing/main was requested.
The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (Invalid path /InfoView/listing/main was requested).
The report worked on firefox. We have IE9. could this be an issue? If so are there any workarounds?

Error when activating the BSP aplication of Demo Examples in SAP XI 7.0

I'm configuring the Demo Examples of SAP XI 7.0 (SAP BASIS 7.0 Content), when i activate the service "sxidemo_agcy_ui" and then edit this service as tutorial of the Configuration Guide document and then save all modification, finally choose "Test Service", I get an error message in the web page as below:

After, i try to test all service in the BUSINESS SERVICE PAGE (default_host/sap/bc/bsp ...), i get a same error message as above.
I have followed the SAP Note 517484 to active all service necessary in order to run the BSP application. But i have still get the same error message and BSP in my XI System is still not available.
Anyone have met a same situation as me or anyone know resolve this problem, could you please help me?

Hi Vinh,
You might want need to go into the abap development workbench (tcode se80), in here there are BSP application program that might not get activate and publish, and also the Internet Service/WEBGUI.
check and see if all require service are published.

Calling a WebService from a BSP

Hi,
I have to call a web service published in another web server from a BSP (SAP WAS 620). I know how to use the WAS as client and I also know how to create the XML. The problem is that I dont know if there is some technique or function module or something like this to create the SOAP message to send to the webservice publisher (something to automate the process).
Also If someone has some code to share it will be welcome...

This is very similar to the HTTP interface to SAP's own content and cache server. This example happens to be a SMS Message Provider in Eastern Eurpoe.

Hi there, I was hoping somebody could give me the high level steps to call a Crystal Report from a BSP (the data source for Crystal is from the R/3 4.7 server) and then have the Crystal Report shown in the BSP session. And, would it possible to have the Crystal Report return somehow as a PDF?

Hi Ingo we're doing the same as this type of code except we using the URL Reporting of BOBJ (viewrpt.cwr) and expecting the CR exported to an xml format and returned to us in string format by http_client->response->get_cdata( ).

Why SQL queries are not saving in agentry editor for first publish?

In the process of developing an agentry application i have defined SQL steps and saved in agentry editor with out any errors .When i have published definations for first time it is displaying error 'Invalid object some where' in back end SQL log file ,when i have seen in editor some times the query is not saved,some times even it is defined then also the same error.So i have copied the steps and saved again.Now i have done a publish,it is working fine.This is happening only when i implement exchange mechanism(Showing error in ATE getfetch error).But with out exchange mechanism it is working fine.Is this related to the installation of editor plig-in is not correct?. I have done preferences setting in my workspace correctly.

Two suggestions (My best suggestion is item 2 below - I think that is where you have the error)
Item 1: Are you using the right encoding? In your Eclipse Editor under the main menu Windows - Preference -> General -> Workspace. What is your Text file encoding set to? Cp1252? Try setting it to UTF-16.
There is a tutorial about this in:

The course is really a simple < 5 minutes discussion on different types of encoding and why they exist and how to change the Eclipse to what you wanted. SQL is normally done in UTF-16 for 16 bit.
I am assuming that the encoding could be wrong.
Item 2: Another thing that could be wrong is how you specify the SDML (Flunky code).
In your SQL Script: Anything that has the "<<" and ">>" open and close marker is an SDML (Data Markup Language) and needs to be pre-populated before the Agentry Server submits your SQL query to the backend. In essence, this is use to populate the SQL query with predefine information like your userID or location and when the SQL gets process it will populate the script with the correct information.
So if you are not properly using the flunky (ex: <<object.address>> where address is not a key ID in a Fetch step (Check manual for usage of SDML AgentryLanguageReference_6.0.0.0.pdf) then you may get invalid object.
When you do a SQL "Fetch" Client Exchange and Server Exchange Steps, you can select a few options:
For this discussion let us talk about these 2 items below.
1. Run Attribute: Run One Time
or
2. Run Attribute: Run Once Per Object.
When you select Run Once Per Object the only available Flunky or SDML commands you have are:
object.keyPropertyName
lastUpdate
fetch.messageNumber
The 3 above are your only options
If you try to do something like object.property1 where property1 is part of your object properties then it will not work for Run Once Per Object.
It may work for Run One time as fetch.propertyname.
From your symptoms where you are complaining about an issue in exchange steps, your error is a typo or a misused or a misunderstanding of how fetches and SDML works (documented in page 398 or 399 of AgentryLanguageReference_6.0.0.0.pdf).
See pictures just in case you don't have access to that pdf file (The picture below simply proves what SDML options is available for your Fetch Client Exchange Step).

Save a PDF document with password via BSP

I am using the code following code to show a PDF via BSP:

some Browsers have caching probs when loading PDF

Now I need that a password will be required before to show the PDF.
At the same time, this PDF should be saved with a password.

The reason for the numerous implementations of 3rd-party tools to encrypt PDF (that is to say, add a user password) is that Adobe publishes the documentation.
