Atte. Rosa

Rosa,

    Craig:
Who is going to decline the "Community Badge" when they are going to receive it from SDN.
Everyone receives it like an honor from SDN; however its a good option to decline so that the money spend in courier can also be utilized for "Food for Points" initiative:)

  • SAP COMMUNITY NETWORK website is NOT working properly

    Hi,,
When I log off the sdn website it still shows that i'm logged in.
please SDN Help Desk fix your problems because it causes us problems.
    Regards.

    Hi Gore,
Please try to use the following code to get the members count, then check whether it corrects or not.
    SPWeb web = SPContext.Current.Web;
    SPList Members = web.Lists.TryGetList("Community Members"));
    try
    SPQuery query = new SPQuery();
    query.Query = "<Where><Eq><FieldRef Name="MemberStatusInt"/><Value Type="Integer">1</Value></Eq></Where>";
    SPListItemCollection colection = Members.GetItems(query);
    int membersJoined = colection.Count
    catch (Exception)
    http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/76973/number-of-memebers-inside-my-community-site-is-wrong
Or try to reactivate the "community feature" feature and activate "Site Feed" feature at site level.
If this issue still exists, you can also try to update the latest CU for SharePoint 2013.

  • SAP Portal Network - WebDynpro iView and SAP Application iView sharing

    Hello All,
I've read about the restrictions in SAP Portal supporting the WSRP standard for application sharing. Mainly WebDynpro iViews and SAP application iViews sharing is not supported. That is in the case of a SAP Portal as producer and Non-SAPPortal as consumer.
I'm interested in a WebDynpro iViews and SAP application iViews sharing in a only-SAP Portals Network, where SAP Portals act as producer and consumer.
I've heard about the Remote Role Assignment and Remote Content Copy that are used in such case. I would like to ask if anyone knows if these can help overcome the restriction in sharing WebDynpro iViews and SAP application iViews that is present with WSRP? And if the advantage of WSPR, that is the application execution and rendering on the producer side, and as follows decreasing of bandwidth usage, is remaining in the case of the Remote Role Assignment and Remote Content Copy.
    Thanks,
    Mladen

    Hi Manish,
for sharing content between SAP and non-SAP Portals, your case, refer to

All the possibilities and restrictions of WSPR in the case of SAP EP are explaind there.
For sharing content between only SAP Portals refer to my other thread:

    Hope it helps you!

  • SAP Community Developer Edition - Where/When is it?!

    Hi There,
Does anyone have any information regarding exactly when we can expect to see the free "SAP Community Developer Edition" come out? I'm eager to start working with it.
I am referring to the edition found on this page:
[http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/shop?rid=/webcontent/uuid/50231945-230d-2b10-97a3-d275c52b9b0a [original link is broken]|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/shop?rid=/webcontent/uuid/50231945-230d-2b10-97a3-d275c52b9b0a [original link is broken]]
Also if anyone can tell me if I'm on the right or wrong path in seeking this edition I would be grateful. I'm a .NET Developer looking into creating 3rd party apps to allow users to migrate into SAP more easily. I already have the .NET connector and the ES Explorer working, but i obviously need valid login credentials to use these tools, and I'm hoping that obtaining the SAP CDE will provide that for me.
    Thanks,
    Dan

I guess "the promissed non-expiry license" does not exist until now. Do you ever thought about using SAPLINK, to save your developing objects and reuse it on other systems?
If you want to develop again with a working system, just reinstall minisap and import your SAPLINK exports.

  • SAP Community Developer Edition - with limited lisence

    Hi!
I recently downloaded and installed MiniSAP, or the SAP Community Developer Edition which supposed to have a permanent
license - but the SLICENSE shows me a 1 month limited lisence - which i know that can be extended for another 3 months, but it's a very short period (I want to use this home-SAP version to keep my own programs - instead of txt files that has no nevigation capabilities).
Does any body knows how can I get the promissed forever-lisence?
    tia.

    I have a problem with my i phone ,
My i phone 4 with serial no.  84040U7UA4S is closed to American communication network AT&T  and now I live in Cairo Egypt so is there any way to convert it to be opened international to be able to use in Egypt
kindly please if you are the key person of this problem please help and if not please forward this e-mail to the right person.
Thanks in advance for your positive action , and we do appreciate your prompt reply.

Sell that iPhone to someone going to US or already in US
and buy one locally. AT&T does not unlock iPhones for any one
for any reason. You cannot use that iPhone in Egypt. There is
no problem with your iPhone - it is working as intended: it was
locked to AT&T and still is.

  • SDN vs SAP Community - Overlap/Duplication

I particpate occassonally on the SAP Community BW forums, but the level of activity is much, much lower.  I sometimes see the same post on SAP Community and SDN, with replies on SDN and few if any on the Community site.
I'm not trying to bad mouth the Community site, but I'm not clear on what the distinction is, or who the audience is supposed to be.  It seems like at a minimum, all of the "developer" types of questions should go to SDN, and if there is a need for business, future direction, etc, maybe that belongs on SAP Community.
I often feel like posting a reply to a technical post on SAP Community with a "Go to SDN" response, but have refrained, not wanting to upset the forum gods.  Especailly since the SAP Community folks are sending me a soccer ball for participation.
At any rate, seems like a lot of duplicate effort on SAP's part the way it is now.

    Hi Pizzaman,

Exactly I couldn't have said it better. Business and future direction questions in the SAP Community and all development related questions here on SDN.

If I am not mistaken they stopped that about a year ago.
By the way, are you delivering Pizzaman? I would really love to have one with Anchovies on it. Yum, or Lecker to throw in a German phrase.
    All the best, Mark.

  • SAP Supplier Network

    Hi All,
Can somebody point me to the appropriate documentation regarding SAP Supplier Network (similar to Ariba Supplier network or ASN as it is known). I am looking for answers to
    1) What exactly is SAP Supplier Network
    2) How it can be used from SRM?
    3) How many vendors are part of the network?

  • Help needed setting up cluster communication network

    Hi,
I need some help setting up a two node cluster communication network.
I have two virtual Servers each with four virtual nics.
I want to create a network for:
    Management
    Heartbeat
    Live Migration
    iSCSI
What type of switch would I need to create for each of them? (External/Internal/Private)
I presume that they would all have to be external as they will have to be able to communicate with the other host in the cluster through the physical network.
Would I need to configure VLANs on the physical switch to keep the traffic isolated?
    Thanks

That's all. I don't see any reason to create 4th node. Regarding the iSCSI target - for the test you can install this one
https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-virtual-san-free on the Hyper-V host which can create iSCSI disks. Just create Internal network for the iSCSI traffic (add third adapter to the
FS nodes of course) which is providing network visibility between the VMs and the hypervisor. (you can use the external network too of course).
Regarding the live migration - this is something you cannot test with single hyper-v host. You'll need at least two. You can try ESX which can expose virtualization instructions to the VMs and create two Hyper-V VM to test live migration.
    1) It's actually possible to install StarWind Virtual SAN on the same hosts where hypervisor (in this case Hyper-V) runs. That would build so-called hyper-converged setup, something Microsoft is going to represent with Windows Server 2016 (vNext) and Storage
Spaces Direct. Except MSFT requires at least 4 nodes and StarWind can do 2 and 3 :)
    2) All hypervisors except Hyper-V do support "nested" virtualization these days. So for very lean labs f.e. ESXi sounds like a better choice.
    Cheers,

  • SAP NetWeaver Network Protocol -- DPTM ???

    Hello everyone!
I want to analyze the network layer between SAP GUI an SAP NetWeaver host server. Within the SAP MMC of my host I found out that the protocol for communication between SAP GUI and dispatcher is called "DPTM" (as a special part of TCP/IP I guess). Please have a look at my attachment for further details.
As me and my colleagues never heard of this protocol type before, I tried Google search and SAP Notes - unfortunately with no success.
Does anybody of you know this protocol? Where I can find documentation or something about it?
I would be pleased if anyone could help me.
    Thanks and best regards,
    Michael
PS: I am running SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.31 on Windows 2008 R2

    Hi Divyanshu,
thanks a lot for that information. So NI is on OSI-Level 4 and DPTM is probably an a higher level... or do you mean that it is also on level 4 on top of NI?
I am a little bit confused about the fact that there is no official SAP documentation about this protocol type.
    Best regards,
    Michael
