Hi All
I have below requirement Please suggest some solution on HOW SHOULD I PROCEDE.
I Have below Info :
1)<b>Aim :</b>  I have to create an Interface from Legacy system to SAP for Purchase Order creation.
2)Legacy system will send a ASCII file, having proper structure. The file is translated into some Idoc (May be ORDERS or some other <b>U CAN SUGGEST</b>..) inside the middlewere XI.
3) Idoc will reach SAP R3 ECC and here I need to create corresponding Purchase Order.
4) One file will have many PO create and change.
How can I procede and accomplish with this requirement.?
<b>Give me what should I do step by step.</b>
The good answers will get most of the points.

--> To get the log message for PDOI, please use the following id to query against FND_LOG_Messages Table: AUDSID = 8621728
--> Concurrent request completed successfully.
But No data found in the table "fnd_log_messages"
And Neither data deleted from PO_Header_interface table nor inserted in PO_Headers_All and other detail tables.
Can you please provide me the script for PO_Headers_Interface, Lines and Distribution.

  • India localization receipt error, import standard purchase order interface

    Hi
    I created PO using PO interface and then imported PO in Incomplete status. Now after applying taxes(India localization) i send it for approval and then tried creating receipt. at this point i got an error message which is about trigger JAI_RCV_RT_BRIUD_T1 and some routine and all.
    After doing little diagnostic here and there, i found that If i create Manual PO and apply Taxes i.e. Open Purhcase Order(Localized) select line level click on "Taxes" and apply a Tax on it and precedence, just after "Rate" there is a field of Curr which is defaulted with INR.
    In case of Import PO, at order localized form when I apply Tax, the field Curr is Null.
    Now when I somehow put currency INR in imported PO(by making that field editable and taking INR from LOV) everything goes smooth.
    So my doubt is, why INR is not coming by default at Tax screen at PO localized form when i create PO using interface.

  • Purchase order Interface update

    Hi all,
    How can i insert more than one line information for a single header in PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL table? Actually i am getting a queue message from SOA and inserting the values into PO_REQUISITIONS_INTERFACE_ALL table using adapter, then i will call the concurrent program for the values get affected in the base table.
    At a time i am able to insert only one line inside the table.My situation is like i need to insert more than one line for a single header.
    Any solution?

    Insert the multiple lines with the same value for the GROUP_CODE field.
    The Req import puts all records with the same group_code on the same requisition header.
    So if you insert the following records
    Group_code   Item#
    R1                Item123
    R1                Item124
    R2                Item125
    R2                Item126
    R2                Item123The first 2 lines will go to one requisition header and the other 3 will go to a different header. You can put whatever you want in the group_code. That information is not validated.

  • Import standard Purchase Order process and interface tables

    Hi all,
    We are populating three PO interface tables from our custom developed application. PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE, PO_LINES_INTERFACE and PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE. We are using 11.5.10.2 version of Oracle Apps.
    Initially we did not manage to populate the distributions interface table, but, now we are populating it. And after doing so, when we run the Import standard Purchase Order process for 'Approved' POs, the process_id for even the record which has correct distributions info also gets 'Rejected' as a value. The process is considering a mix of records : the approved POs that DO NOT HAVE distribution info in PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE (which we had not managed to populate) and the approved POs that HAVE distribution info in PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE.
    does the Import standard Purchase Order process populate partial data that could be good or it rejects the whole lot of records?
    Can anyone guide on this issue?

    Another piece of info I would like to share is
    I have run the process for an approved PO with distributions info in PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE. This time no mixed data. In PO_INTERFACE_ERRORS table, an entry was found: for column name : PO_DISTRIBUTION_ID in ERROR_MESSAGE column 'Error: Has no distributions'.

    After carrying out number of tests, I have found out that
    1) if the approval_status for the po is 'Approved' in the po_headers_interface table, it gives the above mentioned error and the process_id is 'rejected'.
    2) if the approval_status for the po is 'Incomplete' in the po_headers_interface table, the process add the 'accepted' value for the process_id. But, the charge account number is not populated in shipments.

    There has been some progress on this issue. The process sees distributions data into the PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE table. Yet the following errors are found in the process log file:

    I see that the purchase order can be registered in the system by two different interfaces (I'm running R12.1.1): Using Oracle forms (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: -> Purchase orders -> Purchase orders) and using Java html pages (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: ->Buyer workspace ->Orders).
    I have two questions:
    1. The second option (using java pages) is not documented in the usersguide. Is it fully in production or they are still developing it? Why there are two different interfaces for the same purpose?
    2. I see that from Java pages interface I can only see requisitions, but I cannot enter new ones (Navigation path: Purchasing Super user: ->Buyer workspace ->Requisitions). Should I enable somewhere this or the requisition is not developed using Java pages interface?

  • Creating a Purchase Order Smart Form (Form Interface)

    After reading up on all the posts about making a PO smart form I know this:
    - An SAP script "medruck" is the current output
    - A smartform exists for PO's named "/SMB40/MMPO_L" or "/SMB40/MMPO_A"
    - You need to install an update to get those smartforms if you are using ECC 6.0
    So my dilemma is that the SAP administrator is on vacation for a week, so I can't install the update to our system.  I'm trying to just create it from scratch using the medruck SAP script as a reference, but I am a little confused.
    Basically all I need to know is what form interface parameters do I pass in?  Meaning how do I find out what structures and tables are imported into the function module when print preview is called from t-code ME22N?  Can you please provide proper syntax for form interface solution or instructions on how to determine imported variables into the smartform?

    If the smartform purchase order is not available in your system
    means you can download the form IDES and you can upload the form in ur ecc 6.0 system.we faced a similar kind of problem in our system and we did as i said.
    Once you uploaded the things you can easily view the form interface and rest of the things related to smartforms.

  • Different interfaces for purchase order output from MM system

    Dear Guru's,
    We are configuring the business scenarios of service procurement classic and Plan driven procurement with supplier enablement in the MM-SUS environment for our SRM7.01/ECC6 ehp 5 combination.
    These two scenarios are using different interfaces for purchase order output.
    The service procurement classic is using the proxy interface PurchaseOrderERPRequest_
    Out_V1 for purchase order output from ERP.
    However, the plan driven procurement uses the interface ORDERS.ORDERS02 for idoc message for purchase order output from ERP.
    Why are there two different interfaces for the same document output in two different business scenario? How the system will determine which interface needs to be used in the runtime for the purchase order output?
    Any thoughts will be highly appreciated.

  • Purchaser Order Locking Problem In PROXY interfaces

    Hello Experts,
    Scenario is as follows
    landscape is  : NON SAP system ->> PI --> ECC
    Documents flowing is Purchaser order create and change
    Problem is like when i receive same purchase order for change in few fraction of seconds and multiple time as i am already processing the same same PO the next interface goes into a error saying that the PO is locked by user so and so.
    What could be possible solution for to avoid  locking in first place .
    Note its a asynchronous interface XML proxy message.

  • Standard purchase order upload to oracle

    hi,
    we are on oracle apps 11i, database 9i.
    I have a custom requirement that requires importing purchase orders to Oracle Apps through database. I was advised to use the following interface tables:
    PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE
    PO_LINES_INTERFACE
    PO_LINE_LOCATIONS_INTERFACE
    PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_INTERFACE
    insert the data to these tables using a PLSQL procedure and then running the program IMPORT STANDARD PURCHASE ORDERS from front end.
    If someone confirms the above is the right method, it would be appreciated.

  • Error while creation of PUrchase order by using BAPI.

    Hi All,
       We are creating a purchase order thru BAPI ("BAPI_POEC_CREATE") and we are passing the following parameters ( I_PO_HEADER , I_PO_ITEMS , I_PO_ACCASS , I_PO_PARTNER and I_PO_ORGDATA)  to the bapi and after processing  we are getting the following error and Abend messages.
    Messages:
    1) Enter at least one item or one limit ( we have added line items in I_PO_ITEMS structure).
    2) Incorrect interface data for set 78 in method C.
    3) Interface data contains errors.
    Can anyone help me in fixing these errors inorder to proceed further.

  • Purchase Order Error Message

    How can I create or enable an error message when a PO is created using articles, that checks to see if there are upc's that might be missing from the articles.  We can right now create a PO with articles that do not have any UPC/EAN attached to the article.  This creates havok downstream.  I would like to have the PO checked to see if all the articles on the PO have a UPC with them.  Is there any error checking for this?  If so, then where can I enable it?

    From my experience using retail, the downstream processes shouldn't depend on the UPC/EAN attached to the Purchase Order.
    Technically, they should, but in reality vendor make mistakes, switch UPC/EAN between articles, and it's a pain if you depend on the PO UPC/EAN. Better to make the downstream processes depend on the master data which can be easily switched mid process.
    Yes I know, not a best pratice. But reality beats the fiction of a perfect process.
    Edit: And by the way, even the POS interface uses the master data to determine the UoM when you are making an GR against PO.
